Understable! Those much older NW songs got deleted more easily. Otherwise Nightwish reaction videos seems to be quite 'youtube' friendly. I guess nowdays NW owns their rights to their music, via their own company. Many are already suggested this, but I would also recommend 'Ghost Love Score' Live at Wacken. There's also other version (Live at Buenos Aires) which is even more intense performance. Venue is smaller, but the crowd is absolutely crazy! Both versions are fantastic though, can't go wrong :)

(I can tell you later if you want because it is a long story. ✨ In 2006 She started her solo career. ✨Tarja Turunen is a lyric soprano and she has 3 octaves vocal range. She could sing opera but she wanted to sing metal so She became one of the important Symphonic metal Singer. ✨She is 41 years old now and still has a powerfull voice. If no-one else explained it, here's short one: Nightwish was founded in mid 90's, it's a band, quite succesfull too and definitely the biggest band globally from Finland. Tarja was their original singer. She got kicked out of the band after the gig which you just watched part of and got replaced by Anette Olzon, who later got replaced by their current singer Floor Jansen. There has been couple other line chances too: When they made their first album they were just 3, Tuomas Holopainen (Keyboards, composer, it's really his band even though all members own equal shares of the band), Emppu Vuorinen (Guitar) and Tarja (Vocals), they were planning to be acoustic "mood music" band, but due her voice they went metal instead and got Jukka Nevalainen as the drummer and a bit later Sami Vänskä as basist. Vänskä was replaced later by Marco Hietala, which added proper male vocals too, since Tuomas didn't like his own singing voice they used guest singers on gigs to do male vocals. After the gig you just watched part of, Tarja got kicked out of the band and replaced by Anette. Few years later they added Troy Donockley to the band as multi-instrumentalist (flutes, pipes etc) on live sessions and eventually they replaced Anette with Floor and made Troy full-time member too. Since then their drummer Jukka Nevalainen had to drop out due severe insomnia, but he's technically still in the band. The replacement drummer is Kai Hahto of Wintersun and Swallow the Sun fame. Rockiness killed me. Sorry this is symphonic metal band. Tarja is a classically trained singer. I recommend Epica, Within Temptations. Though I hold Nightwish a standard as they are a complete musical experience. If you enjoy this, you may enjoy Nemo by Nightwish with Tarja.

I really don't understand Floor fans. When someone makes a video for Tarja, you don't have to suggest Floor Jansen. Also I love Floor. She is one of the impressive and succesfull female metal singer but i really hate her fans. When we comment about Tarja. A couple reason.... 1. Tarja is GONE. Been gone for over 13 years. Get over it. From now on.... Nightwish = Floor. and 2. Floor *IS* better. She can sing anything Tarja did, and SO MUCH MORE. She's not a one trick pony like Tarja.

Tarja has an amazing operatic voice, Floor has an impressive chest voice. As I said before I love Floor Jansen, She is one of the important metal singer but for Nightwish, for Symphonic Metal Band, Tarja was/is better than Floor.
They make the same like Tarja's fans did and do a lot.. That's their revenge heh.. Still Floor is not Anette to get offences with impunity. She came with her fans earned through many years as metal singer before Nightwish. That's probably haven't been considered by Tarla's fans when they started this thing. @Turap Aktay - I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree..... on several points. You have your opinion, I have mine. I can respect that. I believe - Tarja was never the "soul" of NW. She was just the first "sound" associated with NW. Tuomas IS and has always been the heart and soul and brains behind NW. Period. Certain songs were written for AN operatic voice. Not Tarja's only. She is not the only operatic voice in the world. Floor is a trained opera singer too. And can do the opera style songs just as well, and better in many cases, because you can actually understand what she's saying. We'll also have to disagree that Tarja was better for NW. Floor can do soooo much more than Tarja ever did. Tarja cannot growl, she cannot do raspy rock, she cannot do the poppy lighter faster stuff, etc etc... Tarja = opera. That is all. Floor = anything / everything. She has helped bring NW to a whole new higher level. And the reason people refer newcomers to a modern performance with Floor as lead is not only because she is better but mainly because SHE is what NW is now. SHE is who you will see if you go to a NW concert. SHE is who you will hear on all new album releases. SHE is what you get when you get into NW now. Not Tarja. And not Annette (I won't even get started on her lol). We refer them to Floor videos to expose them to the sweet reality of what NW is TODAY.

A better method would be to pause the song at certain points and provide commentary rather than distorting the pitch.

There has been couple other line chances too: When they made their first album they were just 3, Tuomas Holopainen (Keyboards, composer, it's really his band even though all members own equal shares of the band), Emppu Vuorinen (Guitar) and Tarja (Vocals), they were planning to be acoustic "mood music" band, but due her voice they went metal instead and got Jukka Nevalainen as the drummer and a bit later Sami Vänskä as basist. Vänskä was replaced later by Marco Hietala, which added proper male vocals too, since Tuomas didn't like his own singing voice they used guest singers on gigs to do male vocals. After the gig you just watched part of, Tarja got kicked out of the band and replaced by Anette. Few years later they added Troy Donockley to the band as multi-instrumentalist (flutes, pipes etc) on live sessions and eventually they replaced Anette with Floor and made Troy full-time member too. Since then their drummer Jukka Nevalainen had to drop out due severe insomnia, but he's technically still in the band. The replacement drummer is Kai Hahto of Wintersun and Swallow the Sun fame.

Rockiness killed me. Sorry this is symphonic metal band. Tarja is a classically trained singer. I recommend Epica, Within Temptations. Though I hold Nightwish a standard as they are a complete musical experience. If you enjoy this, you may enjoy Nemo by Nightwish with Tarja.

I would recommend for you to check out Nightwish - Sleeping Sun , the first version with Tarja singing it.
He's discovered Nightwish - and gone straight to the Tarja era! - which can't be bad. I remain of the opinion that Tarja was the best singer Nightwish ever had. My problem is with the song - I guess you have to be British to understand why anything connected to Lloyd-Webber is upsetting on a socio-political level.

Nightwish is the band Tarja is the original singer she is not with them now but they do that song as part of their oncor. For Nightwish would suggest ever dream from 2013 with the singer they have now who is just as good as Tarja.
I really don't understand Floor fans. When someone makes a video for Tarja, you don't have to suggest Floor Jansen. Also I love Floor. She is one of the impressive and succesfull female metal singer but i really hate her fans. When we comment about Tarja. Floor fans come and say "Floor is better" (The answer is No) "Listen Ghost Love Score" ... 🙄🙄🙄
A couple reason....
1. Tarja is GONE. Been gone for over 13 years. Get over it. From now on.... Nightwish = Floor.
and
2. Floor *IS* better. She can sing anything Tarja did, and SO MUCH MORE. She's not a one trick pony like Tarja.
@@ericg6306 Tarja was the soul of Nightwish. She left/fired but she is still considered to be one of the main members of the band. All the songs written for Tarja's operatic voice. You know it. Tarja has an amazing operatic voice, Floor has an impressive chest voice. As I said before I love Floor Jansen, She is one of the important metal singer but for Nightwish, for Symphonic Metal Band, Tarja was/is better than Floor.
They make the same like Tarja's fans did and do a lot.. That's their revenge heh..
Still Floor is not Anette to get offences with impunity. She came with her fans earned through many years as metal singer before Nightwish. That's probably haven't been considered by Tarla's fans when they started this thing. Or just they are used to insult the other NW singers. And if you hate her fans you have to hate Tarja's fans more because they are worse in this direction. Just check the comments section of the newer NW videos..

I believe -
Tarja was never the "soul" of NW. She was just the first "sound" associated with NW. Tuomas IS and has always been the heart and soul and brains behind NW. Period.
Certain songs were written for AN operatic voice. Not Tarja's only. She is not the only operatic voice in the world. Floor is a trained opera singer too. And can do the opera style songs just as well, and better in many cases, because you can actually understand what she's saying.
We'll also have to disagree that Tarja was better for NW. Floor can do soooo much more than Tarja ever did. Tarja cannot growl, she cannot do raspy rock, she cannot do the poppy lighter faster stuff, etc etc... Tarja = opera. That is all. Floor = anything / everything. She has helped bring NW to a whole new higher level.
And the reason people refer newcomers to a modern performance with Floor as lead is not only because she is better but mainly because SHE is what NW is now. SHE is who you will see if you go to a NW concert. SHE is who you will hear on all new album releases. SHE is what you get when you get into NW now. Not Tarja. And not Annette (I won't even get started on her lol). We refer them to Floor videos to expose them to the sweet reality of what NW is TODAY.
