i wish on the last theory video he says "i love you , and that's not just a theory , that's a fact."
I sobbed throughout the whole video. It's hard to say goodbye, but I'm not too sad now. I'm happy for MatPat, he deserves this. I'll miss him, but this video he made was sort of comforting tbh
The problem with growing up watching some of your favourite idols is that those idols have to grow up too.
Now it's our job as his viewers to take the torch and make game theory videos of our own. He inspired a generation of gamers; OUR generation. It's time to take a stand and pick up where he left off.

When I saw the notification ‘Goodbye Internet’ I actually couldn’t watch it for an hour and assumed it was clickbait but I saw it quickly reach 1M views and I knew it was real. I’m genuinely quite upset but I’m glad we’ll get a few more weeks with MatPat

I know now we're grown and our first time feeling this was Steve leaving Blue and going to college. The pain he feels on having to say goodbye because he just wants to spend time with his family is sad, because he's been so successful at the cost of giving himself three times the amount of stress and spending so little time with his family and just being with them but only having a work on his mind first. He deserves it.
