This is probably the best looking squat I've ever seen.
Clarence and Klokov have best looking squats
@@Req566 this guy's looks better tbh
Right?! Got-damn!!!
@@Req566 Clarence squat is pretty good, so as klokov but no where near as deep or as good as this guy's with heavy weight.
I mean I think it looks nicer when people built to squat like lu xiaojun or tian Tao squat
I usually warm up for squats by doing squats
Same
Fact
Wait what! You don't spend 1 hour doing foam rolls and other warmups 🤯
Cultured person
@@b0dr626 Who the fk does that? Takes like 5 min max.
So this is what happens when you treat your body like a premium machine.
Amen!! You are correct!
I already spend 2 hours at the gym but I leave soo much out, if I do all this I might just move in
Do it at home before you go to the gym
Yes it will take 4 hours if do all this and training combined. dont everyone have all this much
Either stop wasting time or increase intensity and decrease volume
@@elvin2010ify its like a 10-15 min warm up

Damn, I wish I knew my body that well. Getting there.
It's a journey we are all working on ourselves, we will get there
@@vinmel4 💯💯🤙
That’s one of the most beautiful squats I’ve ever seen!
That's one of the craziest depths Ive seen with 400lbs
Ikr...linear bar path too.
The sport of weightlifting would like a word with you…
@@Robdutton91 yeah those guys are insane
The only actual squat ever done on RUclips.
Atg squats isn't a more "proper" form squat than a regular back squat if that's what you mean
This man's legs are a work of art!!! Just enviable!!look at tjat beautiful tear drop!!😮
That is quite literally the best squat I’ve ever seen in my life, great job Sam!
I used to squat heavy asf without warming up. I have since snapped my piriformis muscle in my hip and cannot walk and have been on co codomol. (Didn't touch the pain) then codeine (didn't touch the pain) and now I'm on tramadol 50mg x4 a day with ibuprofen, paracetamol, please warm up before squatting heavy guys. I'm now bed ridden and awaiting a hospital appointment for an mri. Love from England xxx
Damn bro, hope you get better soon
@@Daniel-om4ce 12.40 in the morning here. Can't sleep because of the pain. Sciatica in my calf muscle that won't go away no matter what stretch I do. Had to come downstairs 😒
I used to do the same man and I’ve also got quite a few injuries. I was starting my DL workouts at 450lbs and squats at usually 365 just straight into working sets. Had some impressive lifts but injuries came with it that seem to never fuck off.
True but there's no need to have this level of obsession over it, just don't be a dumbass and do some warm up sets
@@PlutoTheGod well if you can go back to before having those injuries, what would you do to prevent them? Warmups, stretches, proper form, etc.?
His squats are just so beautiful I want to cry 🥺
“I was bonin’ it”
💀
Insert Dr. Umar "I beg your pardon.gif" haha!
I love these small clips, they are incredibly useful and u can apply them instantly
I guess I need to start showing up at 2AM to get my workout in with this warmup
Shit takes literally a few minutes wtf
Whooooa his vastus medialis and lateralis are huge! That's impressive definition. I need to try to that mobility exercise for the hips it looks amazing
did that man just squat into the next dimension?! it's super impressive!
You're the most honest coach out their.... Thank you so much for all of your valuable contents 🙏🏾
Mans will probably never have a lifting-related injury at this rate
This is great genetics 🧬 mixed with HARD WORK. this man is an absolute savage. It’s amazing seeing what the upper limits of the human body can do.
This man is lean and so strong 💪
Yeah eating clen and trening hard can do wonders
Dude ur account is amazing i don't see anyone putting such essential info in their videos. Simple but informative.
Ass to grass is the way!! I'm not the biggest dude and my squat is only currently at a 305 1rm, but I pride myself on my mobility. I think there's only a handful or two of people at my gym who can match my depth and I love it, and there are even less people when it comes to matching my depth with minimal 225 on the bar.
Work on your mobility people, even if it may add a little extra time to your workouts it can only help you in the long run!
Can confirm
I had pain on right leg for months. Cured in 40 reps. No more
Also now my left leg doing this is unstable at the knee. Im confident i can make everything feel bullet proof using just this
Go for it my guy
Wow... The most PERFECT SQUAT... BRAVO
why r all the comments on any of this guys yt shorts so negative lmaaoo hes jus tryna share tips if they dont work w yall just keep scrollin lol
This is not ass to grass. Its ass to grave
🤣🤣🤣
All credit to sam, beautiful squat and understanding of mobility, now physiologically it looks to me like sam has shallow hip sockets allowing all that beautiful range, i have deep hip sockets so i know i can never load an atg like that. Super envious 🥺keep at it👍
Sam is insane. One of the best peak natural physiques I’ve ever seen
I wish I had all that free time like that man to get my ankles, toes, hips all warmed up properly 😩😩
you do, stop making excuses. Lets get big bro 😎
I wish you didn’t hide behind some weak ass excuses.

Oh GOD! THANK YOUUUUUU!
FOR THE FIRST TIME I SEE %100 CORRECT INFORMATION. LOL
All the content you put out is fire. Thank you so much for the knowledge.
405 paused in the bottom of ATG with a neutral spine?! I'm crazy impressed, considering this guy looks tall as well. Excellent mobility.
It was the height combined with the deepness of the squat that got me. Body mechanics is definitely a problem to be overcome with this frame…
I didn't know this was a warmup. I just do these to make sure my knees and ankles don't get weak.
This may be the best channel on RUclips for injury prevention. Love other channels like Jeff Nippard and Renaissance Periodization but this one provides a different benefit.
Of overcomplicating training and unnecessarily micro managing small things that wouldn't make a lot of difference.
I used to squat crazy deep like that. Now at 47yrs old my knees are the weak link
Did you hear Coop talking about how nordic curls and the knees over toes program had eliminated most of his knee pain and helped him feel stronger in all of his lifts? He has definitely leaned down but is more muscular.
@@meisdetermined Where was that please, Coop's regular GGR channel?
@@daver9571 go to his last home gym video (his actual home). I said in the comments how he had mentioned more than once about nordic curls. Coop himself discussed why he was doing them and how much it had helped him personally.

I do that because I saw it on knees over toes guy channel but I put my leg Infront of me rather than behind/besides. Imma try it tomorrow on leg day
I love how in detail you go. I wish i got more videos about specific adjustments for working out. Thank you for your.commentary
Your content is very accurate and honest. I genuinely appreciate you
Incase anyone is wondering, he (Sam) is wearing Flag nor Fail athletic apparel.
Ok I didn’t even know this what do ever gonna do this no matter what holy crap seriously enjoying this quick tips to better form

Yaaaas! That's some beautiful squat!!
Doing these movements and warmups are underrated. Hell even yoga is.
You are so amazing and appreciated.
Amazing awarness
This channel is great! I don't lift and can't really make use of a lot of the specific exercises you recommend though. I find a lot of value in the methodologies and how to properly think about things like warming up per this video.
It would inredible if you could make a mini-series on climbing! Stephen Low (Overcoming Gravity) is active in the space and I feel like ya'll would compliment each other very well.
Damn that's technical. For busy people, ain't nobody have that kinda time. Just a basic warm up to get in and out because time is more important. Not everyone is being an athlete without big moolah to support the dedicated lifestyle.
Its literally a few extra minutes of work that can prevent potentially life changing injuries. Get your fucking priorities straight.
@@xenn4985 they are. Those few extra minutes cost hundreds of thousands of not millions. This isn't necessary to achieve fitness and health when you do basics with just body weights and bands but is if you are chasing huge weight lifts to protect your joints from a hospital trip and want to be a professional athlete full time. Get your priorities straight pal.
@@infini.tesimo "injury prevention isnt necessary to achieve fitness and health" 🤡
@@xenn4985 you're either hyper trolling or understand that you can do basic warm ups and do not need to go that I'm depth unless you really going for a lifestyle that requires you to be really aware of minute details.
@@infini.tesimo "that in depth" its literally just basic warm ups targeting areas you feel are too tight. ITS LITERALLY THE EXACT OPPOSITE IF WHAT YOUR DUMB ASS THINKS!
Thank you for this video🙏🏽
Good information thank you
Only people who care about longevity will stretch and warm up before just throwing weight on the bar and lifting it.
yes and the most important of them all is activation through mobility drills.
Lmao stretching before workout has shown to reduce power production. Also stretching has never been shown to reduce injury risk
@@rohanpathak4478 depends on the type of stretching.
@@rohanpathak4478 that only applies to static stretching. Dynamic stretching has be shown to reduce risk of injury as well as improve performance.
@@RobVI squatting itself is a dynamic stretch
Wow!! Thank you 🙏
This is the kind of tutorial that ppl need..atleast anyone over 30
2 sets of 10-15 with no weight. Wow! What a revolutionary way of warming up
If he had a massive upper body, you’d see the keyboard warriors saying that he misses leg day, until they see him in the gym.
When everyone else is complaining about their bad leverages for deep squats, here's this guy
That squat is incredible.
That's a great looking squat. Also want to say that deeper squat doesn't mean better. If you're going parallel or below you are doing it fine. Not everyone is built to do ass to grass. Everyone is different
Thats a cop out argument, everyone can achieve ass to grass or below parallel, it just takes effort.
@@MrSpicabooo also everyone should strive for a full range of motion
@@MrSpicabooo ass to grass isn't necessary is my point. There's no proof that going ass to grass you are getting any more activation in the glute and quads than just going below parallel. Ass to grass is what powerlifters strive for because it's a rule
The gym bro culture really skewed peoples view on this. I have long legs, for years I would try to go ass to grass, try to ignore the back pain, ignore the rounding etc. i finally realized through research and other info that my body just isn’t built for it, now I front squat and do hack squats and feel much better
@@MrSpicabooo it absolutely is not a cop out answer. Everybody has a different anatomy, it’s why flat bench may feel awesome to one person but feel terrible on the shoulders of another. Someone with longer limbs will have a harder time keeping their spine neutral in a back squat movement. Trying to just be determined if you don’t pay attention to your anatomy is an easy way to put yourself in the hospital. Check out Eugene Teo
Great content
I do cossack squats as warm up. All the way down, hands behind head. Works like a charm.
