- An autumn adventure in New England living in a truck camper. We are exploring the north east. In search of fall colors a little rain did not slow us down. We drove a popular highway and then found dispersed camping. Kellie made a pizza. The next day we drove to the east coast to have lobster.

The colors of the trees, oh my goodness. Thank you guys for taking me along to see them as I'm disabled now and can't get out much anymore.
We have been there and it is so pretty. When we went to Maine we stopped at one of the many lobster stands and picked out our own lobster. We tha took it back to our campsite and boiled hot water and cooked it ourselves!
Fall is the best time for lobster as the meat is sweet and suculant. Enjoy for all of us.
Just watched this again. That flume trail is so cool! Someone did an excellent job building those wooden walkways. It is so inviting with all the colors and the overhanging rock walls.

The tree diversity makes fall color viewing in the eastern states great, but the west is not to be overlooked, I'm impressed with Washington, God bless your excursions.

Yes, it’s tough to find boondocking spots in NE. Another +1 for a truck camper and being able to park at these hidden spots and trail heads! So glad you got to see some of the Kanc!
So glad you finally made it to NH. We left a piece of our hearts in the White Mountains after volunteering for the Forest Service all last summer. Glad you're not a quitter, Cody. Don't know which looked better, banana boat or lobster roll!

The locals call it the KanK with a Long A.. pronounced like KAnK-u-mAn-gus… capital letter long sounds small letters short sounds.
I have been to the king of Mangus many times it's nice app there to go camping.

You probably don’t eat them but red hot dogs is something you can only get in Maine. They’re the best hot dog there is.

Yay for New Hampshire!... truly feel the Northeast doesn't get much love for adventures like this. Good waterfall hike I recommend for you guys is Zealand/Zeacliff up off of 302 in Twin Mountain NH. We are heading up that way Saturday ourselves and staying at Crawford Notch Campground. Definitely go check out the train rides in North Conway, or the Cog Railway up to the summit of Mt. Washington. Wife and I are fans of you guys, and if you need any suggestions while up this way, plesse feel free to reach out to and we can guide you guys on a few awesome places to make sure you see/do while this way

We so enjoy watching your adventures! We loved our New England trip and visited some of the same places you have. The best lobster rolls we had were at Red's Eats and across the street at Sprauge's in Wiscasset, ME!

Watched this episode. Fun watching you folks experiencing the northeast. Not sure how if anybody has commented already or not about you calling the “shore” the “coast”.
I’ve always thought of any ocean boarder as coastline but the northeasters always corrected me and said they refer to it as the shore or shoreline. Not sure if a local has corrected you yet but thought I’d share that insight. BTW, we aren’t from there but have spent a lot of time there.

I live about 30 mins from Portland, Maine. I think Maine is a Beautiful State, it has issues like everywhere else, but it’s home for now.
I know you 2 love the ocean, make sure to see Popsham Beach in Philsburg, ME! Or
Morris mountain , you have to hike to the beach, lots of Sanddollars there😊💗. A good & beautiful hike, I would love to live there❣️

Beautiful but please, please go to the Adirondack’s! They are at or nearing peak right now and it will take your breath away. Fire tower trail challenge mountains are super fun! As well as being an incredible park with trails, towns, free campsites etc. please don’t overlook this beautiful area!

Put a pizza stone in ur oven to disperse the heat evenly like a residential oven..works greeaaat!!!!! Cooks /bakes everything evenly, travel in the beast, a pickup camper as well!!!

Have you looked into Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument? That might be a really cool (maybe free) place to camp. Also try to visit Baxter State Park while you are in Maine. Also, Maine has some state wilderness areas that are available for off-grid camping. Then there is the whole "North Maine Woods" area that you should find many places in which to camp.
