We watched this last night. I turned to my wife and said that we need to go to the Keys. Next winter for 2 weeks we are going to the Keys. I saved this video and wrote the places down that you went to. Thanks for doing the work for us.
Last week it was 60° here in Upstate NY. Today it's snowing and there's at least 14" of snow....ugh. I love the mountains but this guy needs some blue salt water. You two truly are the best!!! Peace and stay safe!!!
Awesome! Good for y’all. Yeah everyone needs a little warm sunshine ☀️
I wish we had visited the butterfly place! It’s on my list for next time for sure!!
That ranger sure had eyes for Cody!! Little hottie! 😆
Safe travels!
What a gorgeous aviary! I shared this video with my sister who is a birdkeeper at a zoo and asked her to ID some of these birds for y'all!
The dark green bird you show first is a guinea turaco. The little guys running around on the ground at about 5:10 that Cody asks about are button quail. The black and blue is an opal-rumped tanager. And the multicolored rainbow bird is a gouldian finch. So many beautiful birds!
I LOVED this video! Loved the 🐓's and chickens everywhere! The butterflies, birds and flamingos were awesome.
Thank You For The Great Tour...The Butterfly Aquarium Was Amazing Thank You Both For Sharing...God Bless You Both❤❤
The chicken crossed the road! 😂
I absolutely love butterflies 🦋 ❤
Loved this epi! Florida girl and love Key West - from spring breaks in college and beyond. If you go back and have more time, Key West has become a bit of a foodie scene in the past 10 years or so. Lots of restaurants in neighborhood home settings. Have fun! Im just up the coast in Palm Beach
😂love the roosters 🐓
Cody says “ Hey it’s just a hole in the wall. I LIKE it !😆 Yall are so funny. I was just telling my sister that I’ve always wanted to see a butterfly sanctuary! The blue ones were my favorite. Also the olive green bird when you first came in! Gorgeous! So cool how when the butterflies land, their wings fold up and blend in with the foliage and the “eye” looking thing mark to deter predators. God’s creation is AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL 🥰👏 And we got to see the Kellie food dance 😆 You know the food is good when we see that lol… love y’all 💜
Been to several sanctuary like this---your SKILLS with the camera, thank you for another GREAT video!!! Chickens are so cool!! Five stars tonight ❤
Glad you enjoyed it
Love the keys especially key west.
we loved kw ... did it on scooters! missed the butterfly garden but was on our list .. thanks for showing 😂😊
🦋🦋🦋 we love all of your videos! They’re always so much FUN!!!🙃
The butterfly place was paradise.
One of the best days ever. :)
Catching up on all your FLA Keys videos - makes me miss all the sweet days spent on Green Turtle in the Bahamas. The key lime, the fresh fish, the dolphins, sharks, the chickens, golf carts, the ocean breeze, and beautiful clear water! Can't forget the friendly people. Wow Wow Wow :)
Also, you are making me laugh. Cody making sound effects while driving the golf cart; Kellie driving over the speed bumps "I need a sports bra". On one trip we started talking with a British accent and yelling out "Helloow" to every other cart we passed on the road. We get happier just using those mini cars.
I have to remind myself that you aren't on vacation exactly. Glad you are having such a good time in Florida.
Cool! I would love to check out that habitat! There are so many amazing birds and butterflies! We have flamingos at our local zoo, but they're still very cool. I'm surprised that they didn't tell you that Flamingos aren't born that color? They turn that color from the shrimp, I believe, but it does come from their food source.
I always wonder what my mother's reaction to how Key West is today compared to when she lived there in the 40s. I imagine it has changed dramatically! Change has occurred everywhere, but Key West is so touristy over the years!
Just found your channel. I lived in the keys for 12 years. Love seeing others enjoy the islands. ✌️& ❤
Welcome aboard!
Good Stuff and thanks for posting. Peace....!
Loving your south Florida adventures.
Really enjoyed your Key West series, especially since I'm from Pensacola, keep up the great work you guys do.
Thanks! Will do!

That was so cool all the vivid Color’s.

Definitely an, "Austin Powers" vibe after the lighthouse..🤣 loved the video guys 🤙
Amazing creatures
Looks like fun!
Thanks for taking us all on a ride. Love the whole adventure. ❤
I bet Kellie could cook up a couple of really good chicken dishes with the chickens just roaming around town.😊
Great video, thanks 👍
I’m gonna have to go to key west now! Love watching ya’lls adventures!
You guys, there were so many amazing creatures at the conservatory! That was a great field trip, thank you.😊
I love key west! We rented a cottage down there and had such a great time
We'd love to key West when we were there many years ago. I'm glad you guys got to hang out there and see everything you did❤

Those roosters are crazy!
Now I want to visit Key West.

That is beautiful Kellie enjoy your stay there and get some key lime pie
Long way from Arkansas.
Awesome video of the Keys. 🙏👍🍻🍀
Your videos always make my week! Thank you guys for sharing with us. Amazing couple, amazing vids. 😊❤
What a fun trip! How different the Butterfly sanctuary in FL is compared to the one I watched in Mesa, AZ which appeared more lenient. Loved the colorful Birds too. Thanks for sharing.
Well the butterfly observatory is def on our list next time we are in key west. Looks like you had a great day. Also loved the boat rental from your last video.
Awesome ❤❤
Beautiful
Love Key West. Love your videos of your travels. So adventurous! ❤

Thank you so much 😁
It’s so funny that you mentioned that ghost hunters episode!! It’s the first thing I thought of when you looked up those stairs! 😂
A fun day! Any time you can sight see by golf cart, that's a good time. Loved the beautiful butterflies, but also those gorgeous colorful birds. Thanks for the tour Cody and Kellie.
Glad you enjoyed it
Love key west
I enjoy your travel videos Cody and Kellie! I have never been to Key West…not sure if I ever will, but maybe when I check the Everglades off my bucket list!
Great vlog...looks like a great place, but Hot!? Love all the chickens and wild looking trees!
That tree was a banyan tree like the famous one in Maui that was damaged in the Lahaina fire.
By far the most amazing vlog you have done for us. We have never been to Key West and loved watching you show us around. Thank you!
Thanks so much! 😊
Kellie, you are so beautiful, Cody not so much 😂😂😂. But then when you got that Jesus look you don't need much more! Great video. Key West is one of my favorite places on the planet.😊
The Ghost Hunters episode was in the St. Augustine light house.
We have 5 hens and love them!
Nice video pretty place
Vheck out jungle gardens in Sarasota, you can actually feed the flamingos there
All I want to know is...why did the rooster cross the road? 😂
Seriously, great video! The butterfly sanctuary was incredible!!❤
JC in the house lol i love it
Don’t forget Bahia Honda right next door! Best beach in the keys! Sand spur! Nice tomorrow ! I’m camping on the water! Room if you want to stay a night! I leave Monday!
I meant Sunday ! Storms still tomorrow!
Bahia Honda is the best!! Watch the sunset on the bridge ❤
He does have the Jesus "look" 🤣
It is the southern most accessible point the southern most point is on the navy base property.
Twenty Four hours in Key West is plenty.
Fascinating look at Key West! BTW, it got its name due to the first Spanish explorers finding bones since the Native Americans had used the islet for a graveyard. 'cayo' [KYE-oh]- islet 'hueso' [WEH-so]-bone which got garbled to Key West (and the whole chain of islets became the Keys). Although by an amazing coincidence it IS the westernmost islet in the group with a reliable fresh water supply!
Glad you got to see the flamingos, butterflies and other flying birds and bugs! What's interesting about flamingos is that they get their orange-pink color from all the shrimp and other seafood they eat. Otherwise, they'd have ivory white feathers! BTW, flamingo comes from the Spanish and Portuguese word 'flamengo' [flah-MEHN-go]- flame colored!
Key West takes multiple days I lived on Big Pine from the middle 60s till the late 70s when company came to visit we would jump the Conch Train and jump on and off walk a lot and then ride it was the best thing next to a bicycle. Don’t leave the keys until you eat some conch salid for me my mouth water’s just thinking about it. Good memories your bringing back for me and I know y’all are making even more for you. God bless y’all.
Where can we get it? All we see on menus is conch fritters. We want to taste the meat.
Snowbird down here for the last 4 years in a truck camper as we tow a capable boat for these waters.

the crazy "root" trees are called Banyan Trees. Its actually an invasive species, native to India,
There is a butterfly museum like that in Branson MO. You guys should go there and make some videos, there are a ton of things to see and do there as well. Its beautiful country there.
I've been to KW multiple times and prefer to use a bicycle to get around the island.
Ya’ll need to visit the hemenway house with all the cats
How bout the roosters😮,great viedo,God bless❤
I bet the light house is in the middle because it is a small island and all sides needed to see the light house. While on the main land there is no need to shine to the other side.
We didn’t care for Fort Zachary Taylor. Water shoes are a must due to the terrain. Pros were having shade trees and great sunset views. We much prefer Bahia Honda State Park. Lots of sea grass build up around June can be challenging and moon jelly migration in Sept/Oct is no bueno. April tends to be the sweet spot for us for the temps and most of the snow birds start heading out.
We’re checking out Bahia Honda
This was so fun. And I love the golf cart ('cause we have a long bed super duty) were you able to park your truck where you rented the golf cart?
Yes you can
No Hemingway destinations? Sloppy Joes? Not sure if you were near there. Thanks folks!
Personally, Blue Heaven in Key West has the best Key Lime pie.
Kiki's Sandbar on Little Torch Key is second. They have a great Key Lime Pie Shot too.
The lighthouse is in St. Augustine.
Should have gone to Kermits for Key lime pie.You were only a couple of blocks away.
Hi guys, just started watching your adventures recently, I live on 20 acres in North Florida, just south of Valdosta, Ga.(Cherry Lake,FL.) I have an extra RV hook up if you find yourselves passing through the area.
We love the golf cart plan! Can you share where you camped in Big Pine Key and what are your thoughts on the place? And for planning purposes how did you get from Big Pine Key to Key West and what was the name of the place where you rented your golf cart?
We are staying at a friend’s driveway. Last time we were here we stayed at Boyd’s campground. It’s in Key West. We liked it just very expensive. Every campground is. You can rent a golf cart from Boyd’s. We used Fun Rentals.
Hi! Great video! We are going to key west in a few weeks. What was the rum drink you got at the rum bar? I definitely want to try that place.
We got a rum old fashioned
@@CodyandKellie thanks so much for letting me know 😊
What, no colada this time? LOL.
88 steps and 88 keys on a piano.
I believe in Florida there is a huge retirement village that they all use golf carts in.stores and everything
The Villages. It’s a city within a city! They have their own paths to travel on and take up so much parking at the stores and venue areas.
I don't know, seems too crowded for me, I like quiet beaches with solitude, relaxation, and food. I'm not really into going to a bunch of businesses.. I'm sure I am wrong, but I digress!
Totally understand. We can only handle a day of it
That looked sort of like a zombie fish.
Do you ever plan on returning to Michigan? You haven't been to the east side of the Lower Peninsula (the sunrise coast) or the eastern Upper Peninsula.
Maybe
@@CodyandKellie I hope you do. I've been to all the places that you featured in your first trip and there is so much more for you to see and do. July, August, September and October are great months and much more bug-free.
What was the name of the cart rental you used?
Fun rentals
Do you miss tent camping sometime Cody and Kellie
Yes we do
How much was the golf cart rental?
$175
Your husband reminds me of Grizzly Adams
