Ya'll are making this Florida born n raised lady SOOOO homesick! Was born in Miami but raised on Pine Island where my bicycle was the kicker boat and my roads were the back bays and inlets and anywhere we could cram a canoe or kayak just to see where the opening went. I miss being able to go out on the water any time i chose to but NEVER EVER go alone! Happy trails and safe travels to ya'll!

A tip for Dave's camera. Move it back to the overhead bar above the center counsel or mount it off the counsel it's self. The reason is you want the front of the boat in the video for a reference point in video's, especially going through canals and rivers.

I LOVED THIS VLOG 💜 I was raised in St Pete but moved out of Florida after a divorce. After living 27 years in Florida, having a boat, getting out on the water, spending so many times at the beach, I can actually feel all of what yall are doing. I can smell the ocean air. It’s making me SO HOMESICK for the beach! AND fish tacos under the tiki hut ?! Life just doesn’t get any better than doing exactly what yall are doing 😆💜 I could watch these videos every week and never get tired of them lol. Even when yall got back from a day on the water and Cody talked about how the sun just took it all out of you, I felt that too ! Countless years of experiencing that same feeling 😅 Love yall to pieces 🥰

Oh my gosh! We were there in August 2023. We missed the end of the road bridge. It was SO HOT. We did kayak around Sugarloaf Key though.
Lovin these videos down in the Keys, you guys have some of the best videos and photographs I've seen. Also, I have learned so much from both of you. You do an amazing job explaining history and details about your explorations. I love learning from your experiences. Its a cheap way to travel without leaving my home. LOL. Love the cooking on most videos. I jusrt wish I could have Kelly full time to prepare meals for me. HA...... you two are just wholesome nice enjoyable folks to watch. Hey guys I just subscribed to your Channel I've been watching you for a while on RUclips but it was on my television so I thought I'd jump on my phone so I can subscribe to your Channel. I absolutely love you guys I've spent so much time watching your videos I feel like I know you, I'm a lot older than you guys probably twice your age and I live in a retirement community in Clearwater Florida, I've been thinking seriously about selling my place and buying an RV and going full time I know a little bit about living on the road cuz I used to be a truck driver and your truck camper is probably four times the size at least on the inside than my semi was and I was totally content in there cuz I had everything I needed TV microwave, toaster oven ,television, Etc, I know a lot of people at my age would consider getting off the road and getting a Sticks and Bricks home, but I'm bored to death sitting here day after day I would rather spend my last few years rving and seeing the country in a way in which I can actually stop and smell the roses and enjoy it rather than just passing through to make a delivery, anyway I absolutely love your videos and I just wanted to let you know, God bless and stay safe out there.

Northern Lite truck campers here. We do lots of cooking. Thinking how to do spices in the camper and considering your spice rack.
1. How do you use the space in the cabinet behind the spice rack?
2. Do square spice bottles also fit into the spice rack (such as Simply Organic brand in many supermarkets?)

Another beautiful adventure! Its so strange to me to see you out in the water that far and yet its so shallow. Completely different from the Pacific - except in Hawaii. Cody, you have really acquired some great skills with the drone. Your work keeps getting better. Just curious, do they make water proof drones??? If it lost power, would it be a goner? Something tells me you two will be looking for a house in the Keys.
Thanks for the kind words! I don’t think they make waterproof drones. If it fell in the water it’s over. We’re on our second drone. We wish we could live down there but it’s $$$$$.
As usual your taking me home my old home is there in Doctors Arm subdivision corner of Matthew’s Ln and Baileys Ln I spent days fishing Diving and exploring the back country used to go out on my 13 ft skiff and sleep under the stars out there and the stars were endless. Best days of my young life keep on bringing it I’ll be there in May for my 50th class reunion ( Go Dolphins).

Content and the Passage is one of the most beautiful spots by boat down there. Careful don't give location away as this area is still considered pristine by most.

Beaches are tough to come by in the Keys and once you do find one you hope the winds are whipping because the noseeums will not let you stay long I don't care what you spray on yourself. lol

Jacks are absolutely edible! You just have to smoke it, not grill or fry it. Soak in buttermilk for awhile then pat dry and season up! shame on David for not knowing this! They are very fun to catch!!
You can technically eat any fish but why would you want to choose a Jack over Mangrove Snapper? That’s also a lot of work to make a subpar fish somewhat edible. I think I’ll leave those for you.
