- This is another video in the series which I recorded a little over a year ago for my side channel. As I stated in the intro to this truck restoration playlist I'm slowly trickling the content over to this channel.
The next video is the installation of a new Holley Carburetor.

I'm loving watching this series again!
Thanks Matt!
Loving this series, man. Makes me want to tackle a project car of my own. Good work.
Thanks Andrew, do you have a particular project in mind?
I used to have an early 80's silverado. I'd love to find and fix a short bed.
Good job, I can not wait to admire the finished work and the repainted pickup truck "if you repaint it" naturally. So far, excellent work.
Thank you! I actually do have paint on the box currently it's a matte black single stage, that video will be published in a week or so :)
Coming along nicely, great job!
Thank you!
Excellent work!
Thank you!
It's getting there man! Keep plugging away!!
:)

Thank you!
Looking real good! 👍😎👊
Thanks Fred!
Looking bad ass now buddy!
Closer every day :)
You make it look easy.
the process is actually easier than you might expect, it just requires a lot of patience :)
wow. that hood was in surprisingly good condition
your work is really good. is fun to watch. By the way, matt black truck is not bad.
Thanks Andrew!
I love that flat black
That's only the primer, wait till I get some matte black paint on it.
ZH Fabrications it’s gonna look great once done. I’ve been eyeing a local model a pickup that keeps popping up on CG (always when I’m broke, of course) and I was planning on painting it the same with some rust accents on the heavy wear spots. Just gotta wait for the stars to align just right so I can buy it
I envy you so much! It is coming together really nice :) I have a dream of doing the same on a Oldsmobile 4-4-2 from 69 :)
Thank you! That's a great car, you should totally do it.
Hello, Zach. I like to follow your work. good car. good tool. excellent hands and pomoshnitsa, which is still necessary for happiness. if you can not fast video. Thank you.
Thank you!
What happened to the rest of them can't find the rest of your videos did you finish the truck?
Great vids.l man. Just got a 61 Apache shortbed stepside. All complete. But also almost all rust. Hahaha. Mostly surface rust. With rocker panels and corner of floor boards blown to shit. Best deal I found on one. So yea.. anyway. My question is what gauge sheetmetal do you use for repairs. Thanks. And keep the vids coming.
Wow, never saw anyone take a hood off by themselves before, but good job!
Hah, yes it was nearly impossible
Your background music is cooling it. Titanic
Looking good, needs a ZH custom anvil hood ornament to replace the old one?
I've been thinking the same thing for a long time :)
..and pelican hook door handles!
What kit did you use i cant find any for my truck?
👍
Mrs ZH 😍😍😍
could you do my hood on my 73 too ? Paint cracking now !
Hah, no thanks, once was enough :)
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
:)
Yup, she's a big girl.
You sound like Nicolas Cage
It's "bed" a item in your list....you are gonna put a bed on your truck???
Bed as in the flat part--the bottom of the box.
I thought you were a metal guy... Why use plastic?
It's dang near impossible to get a good finish without at least some filler.
You need to shut down that music/noise that's louder than your voice.
Why strip a hood with a flap wheel? You are creating tons of high and low spots, ridges, and sand scratches. I can see in the video all the places. Do you just leave them?
Turn off that noise (music) can't here what you say.
