Even without…. 😂
@@since2133 agreed, she is ridiculous.
And literally zero execution required😂
If you play overly aggresive and get hit with that brain deadass back turn spring lol they use it so much where we expect it lol
@@raofficialgaming oh you mean that evasive fast plus on block normal hit launcher that hits from across the screen and comes out of a 50 50 back turned mixup?
You should do a "Why no one plays" series. Players like Kazuya, Master Raven ect. seem strong but are not represented in tournaments. I would love your insight.
Most of the time the reason would just be there's a character who does the same but is easier
Kazuya does see a fair amount of play from loyalists sometimes from knee
Really godd idea for a tierlist also.
Kazuya is massive in South America, they think he’s top 3. Nene the Dragon a peruvian got second at ICFC sometime recently
@@drketr6232 Maybe Kazuya was a bad example. Characters like Nina, Heihachi, Lei, Paul, and even Feng pre-patch.
You've never been hit by Paul's Triple Deathfist at the wall
How do u do that
@@nikitagrishin7310 Probably with a balcony break.
@@nikitagrishin7310 stages with wall break
@@nikitagrishin7310
death fist, rage drive deathfist, 3 2 sway cancel deathfist?
I think I remember a video of Mainman eating 3 deathfists then dying.
Steve's combo damage is high if you can optimize it. You can do like 110 damage with b1 combo + gatling wall combo. And Zafina's combo damage isn't that high at all. Also Bob can easily be A+.
To be fair most Steve Mains probably don't know how to do it or in the middle of trying to learn how to like myself 😅
@@xerospades yah I used to main Steve and I dont miss gatling gun at all lol
Without the wall, Steve is below average in damage. Also, df+2 combo is super hard and unreliable. Wall travel is not great, and launchers are terrible. I think he should be in C.
@@coolstorybro9916 is his wall carry that bad? I see Hera travel like he's riding a bike
@@xerospades Not bad, not great. Albatross carry got nerfed in season 2 if I'm not mistaken.
Could we please get a summary video describing the changes the strong T7 characters got from TTT2 that took them from obscurity in the previous game to the higher tiers?
The first character that comes to my mind is eddy gordo, he got the most nerfs for ttt2 to t7 lol
I think Kat is underrated, deserves at least to be in A. Wallsplats combo then does her ff3 before the opponent slides down completely and uf4 after, that hurts. Rage drive at the wall, 80% damage at least.
I see a Kat once in a blue moon.
True, almost every juggle (not optimized) from every Launcher (except FF2,4) does at least 68-70 Damage without walls, optimized UF4,4 even gets 75 and her wall carry is lowkey insane, I feel like a lot of players don't know how good her wallcarry actually is
Male characters would be: Paul, Marduk, Akuma and Geese.
Female characters: Chloe, Anna and MRaven.
Nina with execution is atleast A+. She and Anna are pretty much equals when it comes to damage.
No
That’s so true
In fact with execution she deals even more damage than Anna.
@@Aroused_Pineapple she can deal 77 dmg from a 12 dmg df2 without rage or walls.
She has the highest low parry damage combo aside from 2D characters with meter.
Her wall carry is second only to Lars.
I would argue that her combo damage is the same level as Julia or even outclasses her without walls.
@@rasaa7227 Her wall carry is not second. Julia/Geese/Lars/Dragunov wall carry are farther.
Bryan, Leroy and Hwoarang should be a+ imo
Steve, Katarina and Fhak could go to A
Yoshi suprising has good combos if you're playing aganist a good player.
Kazuya is the best there is the best there was and the best that will ever be.
MASKU!
DORYA!!!
Main Man should do a tier list based on what Jobs they would have irl
Ganryu would be a bodyguard. Lily don't work. Asuka takes care of the shrine or something, the mishimas are filthy rich, Lars mooch off Lee
Paul clears roads after landslides.
@@EternalSilverDragon Hes also a hero of the world saving us from aliens
Bryan would be Uber driver.
@@deathbybears Doctor Boskonovitch making sex dolls
Probably won’t see this but your videos make life better. Keep doing what you’re doing
Law's wall combo damage was at the top until they removed the clean hit. Lee had the best the wall carry until Lars got his Silent Entry 3+4.
Lee no
The clean hit got removed?? And Lee hasn't been the best in T7 for so long, his trademark now is keepout
@@milosaga5450 yeah f*ck this game
Honestly I think Kazumi should be C at least or B at best. She has above average wall travel and her wall slump FW3 into d2 is quite consistent while also hits hard. The normal wall combo leaves the opponent in FDFA position which will force poke mixup (between df4 mid and db3/db4 low to the opponent) and if the opponent decided to stand up or press back then df4 is always guaranteed (infinite potential).
Devilster could probably find an insane Jin combo to match kazuya but not perfect electric with rage drive at the end at the wall. I'm a Jin and Kazuya main and holy Kazuya is so hard to play.
I play Jin and Kaz as well and I actually find Jin harder personally, except for PEWGF combos of course lol
@@Section8dc oh yeah both of them are easier than each other in their own aspects. For kazuya as long as you know all of his punishers and how to vortex and sidestep etc, kazuya is very very strong. Jin's punishing game isn't nearly as good but he's about pressure so a lot of his moves are + on block and the hard part about Jin is how technical he is, there's so many complex parts to Jin but after learning his tech it gets easier. For me I've just been playing Jin longer by this point I used to only main Kaz and I found Jin so hard.
@@novanation5870 thats real shit though cuz I mained Heihachi for years and I always found Kaz harder just cuz of familiarity with Hei lol, the family is all harder in there different aspects you are completely right
@@Section8dc I agree 👍 I've mained hei since tekken 2. I find more success with him personally over dj for example. I play all the Mishimas but not as effective as my main. Ppl say hei is harder and sure he needs execution but familiarity really means something lol
@@Section8dc bro if Jin is harder to you, you must be playing him blindfolded
Hey, MainMan. Nice tierlist. A have a request. Can you make another tierlist?
A tier list on the best tier list he's done so far 👌
Tierlist of aesthetically pleasing combos then. The only way Eddy becomes top tier for once😂
He'd still be b tier
i think gigas has a decent overall combo, his new d2 route gives 71 damage no wall and no rage. he also gets 106 damage no rage no wall if sg1 hits you. his wall travel is also decent. you don't get the wall combo but it gives you oki if you end it with df1+2, 1+2, 1+2
before watching this vid i can tell geese and akuma are top tier
Thumbnail gives it away
Impressive 😲👍🏼
I knew Lars would be S tier as well, he should be SS tier really. Lars mains will cry tho, "hE Is WeAk"
@@drabnail777 ss would literally be above akuma and geese and that’s definitely not true
@@drabnail777 damn bro all you do is complain
Fakhumram should be a little higher - his ff1+2 uppercut lead to 80 dmg combos without wall and you need hardly any execution. Thats much better than average character damage which is anywhere between 64-70 dmg from launcher (no wall).
very accurate teir list.. i think he ranked almost all of the characters correctly.
Id put Miguel in A but that’s my only thing I see wrong with the list
I think Anna should be a bit higher in A+, or even low S.
She can do 119 damage off rage drive and wall, without walls she can do 112. Even without rage and walls she can still get 80 damage. I think her damage is pretty underrated.
agree
my king has easy 22hit 219 damage.... on wall stage. n death Combo on INFINITE Azure...

Getting hit with Paul with rage will make you wanna put the controller down.
Another character that’s similar in that way but few people play her is Anna. If she hits you with that CH QCF 1, it’s gonna suck. A lot.
Paul makes me freak out homie

Punishment list next?
Gimp
Gigas at least A
His weakest combo with wall does at least 90 damage, always, his WEAKEST. .
All of his CHs hit like a truck as well His counter hit ff42 does 130+ damage with rage WITHOUT WALL.
Decent wall carry, no better than Heihachis, theyre about the same. His low parry combos are one of the best too.
The reason why xiaoyu has bad combo damage and bad wall carry is because her okizeme is the strongest in the game, she has the highest chance in the game to relaunch you after every combo, thus extends her combo damage even more.
Ew
@@azaku9755 xiaoyu is regarded as the okizeme queen, she can relaunch almost anytime the players wanted to, marduk has good oki for sure but nobody can touch xiaoyu in okizeme department.
oki is good, but the amount of combos you land is not the same as the damage each combo does
Bryan’s damage from counters after taunt is why I’d put him at S tier
Bryan main, here. It's funny when players attack or block instead of just backdashing. Of course they can't do that at the wall.
If kazuya is S tier because with godlike execution he does a ton of damage, law deserves better than B tier cause a godlike law can slap like my step dad off of most hits
Yah he is one of my mains and my combos are insane with him, he can really hit hard if you master his wall travel combos
Yes but no.
Unlike Kazuya where you can miss an electric and only do a WGF, you can still continue the combo, Law drops 1 DSS and it is over.
This is why even godlike Laws does not go for optimals most of the time.
I tired to play geese but his raging storm scared me
I would put Gigas and Lucky Chloe at S tier. No wall they both can easily peak 50% and with wall, they both can easily do 70% without the execution
Absolutely not
@@roninhubbard9059
Why not?
@@holeyschitt he's not a fan of LC lmfao
@@tekken425
Understandable, that damage is busted
I thought we were talking about how cool a combo looks in regards to animation, flow and continuity. Not functionality.
Eg. Jack-7 fights like a machine with brute force with hydraulic assists. It is represented in his combos, while Katarina's combos are not that great to look at.
if anything ive learned from this, is we have a pretty good even cast of damage, with a spread of playstyles that fit everyones individual needs and wants from a character they play? good stuff
Love your tierlist series so far ! Could you also show us in-game footage to support your arguments ? Perhaps you could alt-tab and show it to us when you are stating your arguments.
even without watching this video until the end, i already dragunov is going to be on B Tier. FFS, give him some love already
Are you really going to put Kazumi at D ? You know her wall carry is really good and the wall dmg is very good when u get the 50% worrier stance 3 into D2
Jup dmg isnt that bad and so is her wall travel. I would put her in c
My man geese on fire
Can’t wait to see my main kazumi at d rank
But she does have that one tiger move that can kill you in 3 moves idk what its called or the input
@@Quartzmage21 are you talking about her wall combo?
That's a fair assessment of Jin, but given the fact that he's a counter striker/defensive fighter, it's still amazing that you could debate it.
Have an idea : cancer character tier-list !
I didnt like where it was going with all the S tier combo charecters but u got it prettyuch right towards the end. Lars aint no way S tier, he got carry and wall combo but not explosive damage, just his usual high damage. The actual S tiers r the ones who does a usual staple around 65 damage and they have meter or rage and somehow in the blink of an eye u ate an easily over 100 damage combo, and u wonder where ur health bar gone.
So funny to see this man's understanding of things after all these years
It's crazy how Akuma got nerfed so much, but he still can kill you with one touch. They tried to tone him down and he just has too much ways to kill.
Most of Xiaoyu's ch launchers do 70+ damage and she has a 116 damage AOP combo without rage or wall, how is she D tier?
Imagine believing that King has combo damage potential comparable to the likes of Devil Jin, Hwoarang or Heihachi.
King is B maximum in combos. His combos without the wall do 63~69ish damage depending on which combo you use, his wall carry is not stand out at all, and he has arguably the worst wall combos in the game. Ground throws do good damage, but it's a 50/50. His wall SW wall throw does good damage, but it loses his wall positioning. He does have the other wall throw, but due to the execution, it's only usable in certain situations. His highest guaranteed damage that keeps his wall positioning is 1,2, f3. The damage is as low as it sounds
Miguel and Claudio definitley hit harder than Lars also Steves gatling gun wall one of the highest wall damage in the game
Not at all!
Lars’s biggest strength is combo damage for sure.
Steve combo damage with walls is disgusting. They are definitely much stronger than Claudio and Miguel.
@@since2133 dude Lars strenght is definitley not combo damage its wall carry Miguel gets staple 70-80 damage combos while Lars struggles to get 68-73 and thats only if u opt for maximum damage
Watched some mwkan 7 miguel. Definitely pretty high combo damage especially with RA.
@@songoku6067 I play Lars and Miguel, average damage of Lars is far more than Miguel's because of wall travel. Miguel is clunky with wall travel and sometimes he opts with df1 sav 2 without jab, when Lars always get maximal damage and can even sometimes do bullshit db21 resplats like Jin.
@@h.m.2034 yeah but if he DOES do the df1 into SAV 2 he can get a confirmed SAV d/f2 for an extra 20 damage taped onto it if they don't tech, his combo damage against anybody who doesn't ground tech in general is about 20 higher than otherwise, meaning he can actually get 100 damage combos off on people who don't tech from just counterhits
Tier list content can never be overdone haha.
Main man at it again great vid
Common misconception about Julia her max dmg combos are tough af and don't always go wall to wall. If u simplify them u lose much dmg. Like mainman once said she requires input
I'm a simple man. I see lars, I click like.
Steve’s ext dck 2 counterhit without rage is like 70-80, with rage is over 80, with rage & wall is 100+ maybe reaching 110. I would have placed it as somewhere to the end of A row but I agree with B start as well because the chance of hitting 100 + combo is relatively low.
I'm pretty sure Kazuya and Nina should be in the same tier list. They deal pretty much the same damage amount from their combos granting that Nina has more reliable wall travel combos. And they're both executionally demanding. Nina can deal 100 damage from CH b4 no rage no walls.
Leo is B max. Low Damage without walls, below average wall carry unless you learn knk cancels, no variety since the only viable screw move is from knk
Personally I’d put Geese number 1 because of ease of execution in comparison to Akuma, but if the Akuma got those? GL
Asuka definitely belongs up there.
Jack should be atleast B or A for me because u can't miss it's combo no execution required best oki after combo
Got a good video idea. Best Generic Grab 1+3 and 2+4 grabs.
King, Armour King and Marduk would be top tier for sure.
@@jonathanharwood1255 I mean strategy wise yes, but I’m think more like best looking grab lol. Like Lee’s I believe left side grab is pretty cool. He steps on you head 😂
@@KASA671 oh, did you also mean the side/back grabs too? When you said generic grabs I thought you meant the generic front grabs.
I think master ravenn should be on par with julia and paul. With decent execution she can do insane damage and her wall combo does like top 3 damage
The only tier list where my main Lars can get a high placing. LET'S FUCKING GOOO BABEYYY
I came to this to see how yoshis dmg is and I see it now after playing for a while
Yoshi can do 60+ damage without walls or rage from a 6 frame move, an unblockable low, and even an unseeable low, all with respectable wall carry if walls are to be considered. That's not even considering some of his better launchers life uf2 into flash, KIN b21, 4~3, or his CH launchers. AND that's also not even considering his rage drive or very good wall damage or the fact that he has a i11 50 damage command grab that breaks floors. He's better than Jack in my opinion.
I have made so many come backs with asuka. My offense does not really start until im in rage. wiff DF1 they try to punish but im just out of range, and I DF1 again for the death combo. Double can cans also work. wiff the first intentionally to bait and game over . She should be higher. Its brain dead with her rage drive. Pair it with ultimate tackle its guaranteed game over.
Jack can deal 84 damage by using d,1+2 without a wall.
Jin's rage drive is underrated, 1 million damage into wallsplat from anywhere
Any launcher, electric, full ragedrive, resplat, wallcombo = Devilster's combo video
Lili can quite reliably take 80-90 damage if she can get the backturn ender. If you start using cancels and stuff, easy 90.
And fun fact if you Play Asuka in Tekken 5, the spin kick, 3 times the opponent is down and out, too bad starting with Tekken 6 the tone down her kicks cause she was very OP.
This list is kinda based
Can you do a mixup tier list just so I can see Lei on/near the top of a tier list instead of at the bottom all the time. I know the Mishima 50/50 is good but that only counts as 1 mixup.
im surprised the video even uploaded. due to the youtube combo curse
Your ESL is showing, MainMan. First, I'd replace "What" with "Which". This is because the subject of the title is restricted, specifically to characters within Tekken 7." What" would be used more broadly, if you didn't have a specific set of subjects in mind.
Second, you should remove the S from either "Characters" or "Hits", depending on your intention with the video.
So the title could be "Which Character Hits the Hardest". You would use this if the intent of the video was merely to determine the top spot among all characters. Or it could be "Which Characters Hit the Hardest"; which would imply analyzing general ability between multiple characters.

These els ffs
Tries to make a combo tier list, instead just makes a damage tier list
so what is the benefit of a combo?
A deathcombo potential tierlist**
@@jackmate512 imo It should not only be about the damage. Wall carry, Execution, the moves used in the combo also matters
combo damage, wall carry and then wall combo were the criteria, plenty of characters get all 3 of these on a launcher, if it were just about damage miguel would've been a lot higher given that he can get basic low counterhits for 49 damage
Master raven is top tier, some of the best wall carry, very above average combo damage, insane wall combo dmg especially with rage drive
it’s about who hits the hardest bruh
It was in the beginning it’s not that standout anymore
Julia above nina? Nina without walls already does insane dmg
Had to watch that lars combo vid before resuming this vid.
Could you do another kazuya combo video pls I've been struggling to find any combos that aren't really hard to execute thx😎
You are using the wrong character then bro
Lars has the best wall travel but sometimes it hurts him when trying to get damage.
Why distinguish between high execution law damage and high execution kazuya?
Bryan is no joke, he should be S Tier
As I understand it, someone did 175 damage in 7 seconds a few weeks ago, a new world record with Heihachi.
if you death combo with noctis they will say 9999 damage🤣
Damn, I play Ling. I didn't expect D Tier.
Yall play strong mind games you don't need an S tier combo 🤣
Fahkumram in B is criminal
I love how people STILL try to pedestal Jin so much like he's god tier. You either hear it from the people who love everything down to his dirty underwear or the people can't fucking stand him.
Karate characters are ALWAYS my mains in fighting games next to Jeet Kune Do characters (Tekken is the one exception because I just like Jin more than Law).
That means Jin for Tekken, Jean for Virtua Fighter, Ein and Hitomi for DoA, Makoto for SF 3rd Strike you get the idea.
Jin is the ONLY karate character who's ever felt like a struggle for me because of his stiffness and lack of forward inertia. NOBODY ELSE in Tekken feels like that.
TMM doesn't like Jin much from what I've seen, but he still knows he's not on the level as characters like who he put in S tier.
Speaks volumes.
People don't know Eliza can get 100 damage w/o wall with a 14f launch 😩😩😩
Bullshit character
I know right I've done 106 and with Kuni 116
Lidia A+? Nah man... she is been nerf hard. Dmg are low af right now. Even in 5.01, she got another silent nerf.
Asuka can get 122 dmg combo with no walls. rage required tho.
The interlude music was perfect for this 30:20. Thinking music
It's still crazy to me that Jin has better wall carry and damage than hwoarang. For years it's been the other way around.
Jin has slightly better wall carry than hwoarang, easier wall combo damage but Howrang has better damage overall 90-110 with walls 110-140 with rage and a death combo on Geese stage. On open stages hwoarang deals easily 80-85(100+ with rage) damage with optimized combos. Jin on open stages deals 67-76 damage...
Even Steve with walls deals insane damage, a lot more than jin, 90-100...
Don't take the articles of this guy too seriously.
@Robert S TRUST me I don't, I forgot to mention that I play both characters quite seriously, so I have my own experiences with them. Honestly, I play Steve as well, but it's not as serious. His wall damage being higher than Jins is NO surprise, given he has more strings good on the walls
After watching enough of those XHK Asad videos I think Claudio is the most misplaced character on this list. He is easily A+… no one does the correct combos with wall carry with him. You can get the starburst ending 75% of the time with UF 3+4 into back 2.
Nina should be higher no question, travel damage and oki, Miguel has good damage and his combos aren’t hard, pretty decent wall carry, drag b? Leroy above drag????!??
I don’t quite agree with Gigas. If he gets certain CH moves like ff4,2, he literally destroys you.
ofcourse steve doesnt cause if he did hed make people rage quit harder then people trying to beat shao kahn on very hard or finding akuma on a old tekken
steve is B without walls, but A~S with walls
Miguel at the wall hits like a truck
Where is patch 5.01 tier list
To be honest Lidia equal with Heihachi i mean that.
Lidia can get over 75 from 3 2 ff3 df 44 those can bring over 70 easily without a wall with wall it can get over 90 damage with the max damage wall combo.
Her hopkick is Quiet not that damaging without wall but with wall it will get over 70 damage.
Heihachi with just one Omen can get over 85 damage
Double Omen it will get over 90 damage
Of course those combos without wall, and i haven't mentioned the electric yet🤣. With wall it will get over 75 damage easily from any launcher or any counter hit. You name it.
dvj should be a automatic s tier even after the nerfs
Some of this is wierd.. Zafinas combo damage for instance is pretty much dogshit
