      not only that, he also inspired a whole country's scene to travel and get exposure look at his training partner and friend ATIF, without him taking that leap of faith in 2019 we probably wouldn't have seen other guys from Tekkikistan hit the scene. Currently out of the top 20 earners in esports tournaments in Tekken 8 5 are from Pakistan. Pretty remarkable to compete vs Koreans and Japanese with way less resources.

    What I love more about him that he came and completely disturbed the monopoly of S.Korea on Tekken, and competition is always good. Because of him, a whole crop of excellent Pakistani Tekken gems like Atif, Khan etc followed and now the Tekken scene has become a lot more lively with healthy rivalries.

      Not one person in the comments mentioned the fact that this video was released immediately after the Tekken World Cup, in which Ulsan ( Korean ), won against Pakistan in a landslide 5 sets to None. Horrible timing and seems deliberate.
      Edit : Arslan is my GOAT. But the release date is the absolute worst. Someone else deserve the spotlight right now.

      Well to be fair, it sucks that Namco/Bandai decided to completely reward aggressors so pretty much blocking is useless and side stepping and attacking is the only way. Tekken has come a long way. I’m used to blocking and parrying.

    Arslan deserves all the praise, one of the very best esport athletes of all time already and his record would be even bigger if Covid didn't crash everything. Dude is unbelivably good at Tekken and the way he gave back to his Pakistani community is unheard of and such a phenomenal thing to do.

      To be honest, his Feng Wang is good and Aslan was actually losing. He won by pure luck. All he did was roll back as fast as he can and do front kick with Nina. I mean come on guys. This was an extremely very close match.

      ​@@keblakev the creator of pakistan jinnah used to think,with good reason, that the rights of the muslims might not be protected in a hindu majority state. Thus he called for the creation of a new state for the muslims of the subcontinent. He didnt have this veiw in the begining as there was for many decades attempts by the hindu and muslim leaders to reach compromises on how a future united state may be ruled but they always fell through as either the demands of the hindus or muslims were unacceptable to the other side. Thus leading to the need of a seperate state for muslim majority provinces of india comprising bengal,punjab,sindh,balochistan,afghan province and kashmir.

    The Biggest Achievment of Arslan was to come from an Area with Zero Exposure to come adapt and then go on and on keep adapting and staying on top.
    The Guy is one the best Human Being as well as the player.
    He puts his community before him that speaks of his leadership skills and the vision which he has.

    Only 2 people created the history of the Pakistani gaming scene number is ofc Sumail from Dota 2 and then Arsalan Ash from Takken also pokemon got to qualify for majors in 2020 of csgo but unfortunately cuz of covid it didn't happen or something went wrong otherwise we might make a name in CS too but insh'Allah we will make a name in CS too and ofc my fav player is s1mple in cs he is GOAT for me I am playing cs 1.6 since I was 8 or 9 years old in 2008 or 2009 then I shifted to csgo in 2017 or 2018 then I start following cs pro scene since then s1mple is my fav player of all time I hope one day he knows that there is the crazy fan following of s1mple in Pakistan too.

    It will always blow my mind. You had for years players from every region playing each other learning from each other, and then you had this isolated country that never played with anyone outside that country produce someone of this caliber. Once in a life time player IMO. Im not a massive fighting game player and vary rarely watch pro games but multiple times now ive gone out of my way to watch this man play because of how insanely good he is compared to everyone else.

    Arslan is even greater than his record suggest. To play in front of jampacked hostile crowds, who are cheering against you to death, and still score victories after victories n making them go all silent is a great feat in itself. The likes of Knee has not experienced this.

      I don't disagree that he's beaten all the best, that's just a part of winning the tournaments. But he literally said in the video "I don't want to verse those guys, I'm not that guy that like relishes the challenge. Like I hope Knee loses in brackets."
      So to say that he's actively seeking them out is a lie. By Arslan's own admission.

I'm pointing out Arslan himself admitted in this clip, he isn't actually seeking out the strongest guys in order to beat them like the original comment insinuates. In fact he literally admitted he hopes they get out before facing him. Hence he is nothing like that at all. Like its not a knock on Arslan, like you say, its likely most people trying to win feel this way to an extent. I'm just pointing out the original commenter in this thread clearly didn't watch this vid or listen to what Arslan actually said and has just made this image of him in his own head of how he sees him.
