@philip tooley in that case, being a criminal is relative to where he/she live in. If he lives in iraq or vietnam, then he is a bonafide criminal. But he isnt, hes living in his home country. He has the rights to call upon the law to incarcerate those squatters.

Squatter(s) should die of lead poisoning if they don't vacate immediately. I think in some jurisdictions, all rents and leases must be in writing to protect both parties from unlawful occupancy and evictions. If not, it should be a ordinance backed up with ordnance if the squatter doesn't vacate.

No access to my home bank is not getting any money they will have the squatters removed immediately saw it in Florida during the housing crash landlords couldn’t remove squatters but when they stop paying the bank they were there the next day to remove them. Also, stop giving the government money if you do not have access to the home do not pay them have them correct the amount what are they going to do you have squatters rights after all.

I'm betting there is just more to this story. It sounds like the homeowners explicitly gave her access and allowed her to use the place in exchange for cleaning it for them. The exact timeline and their relationship to the property is also unclear. If I were to guess, they probably did do something that established a landlord / tenant relationship with the woman, even if brief. If that's the case, the answer they got from police was right: it's a civil matter and the recourse is eviction (and then if she doesn't vacate, she gets arrested). This story feels skewed, though we'd need the woman's perspective to really know anything at all. Could be a total PoS, but there's not enough information here to say and my bias sensor is going off.

The following works for regular landlord/tenant eviction disputes AND squatters. 1: Remove the doors and windows from the property so you can, lol, "weather proof" them. 2: Load them up so you can "go to your shop and perform the necessary modifications." 3: Don't bring them back (due to equipment failure at your shop, if anybody asks). Depending on the season and the local bug population, they'll get out pretty quick. They can't file any complaints because they have ZERO legal standing for being on the property in the first place. As the property owner, you always have the right to do property upgrades, but "tenants under eviction orders" or "squatters" are NOT allowed to do any modifications, so any form of complaint will just be ignored. A friend of mine uses this method to evict nuisance tenants instead of the courts. It's a lot faster and as a bonus, the people on the property are so happy that they'll soon have new weather proofing (lol) that you'll usually get no beef while you are extracting the doors and windows from their frames. LMFAO!!!

He didn't have any family in state so it was about a week until his brother could come and square away the house and belongings, in the meantime some local dirtbags that knew the deceased decided to move into the house. They paid as much respect to the home and the dead man's possessions as you would guess, just trashed the place. Well, the brother of the deceased was not a man to trifle with. Upon discovery of these "people" in his dead brother's home he remained extremely calm while telling them they needed to leave, they would not. He came back that night around 3 am. With a bullhorn, and a shotgun, and about eight bug bombs. He proceeded to break out windows and toss in active bug bombs. He then got on the bullhorn and informed the human roaches inside what they were being exposed to and recommended they leave the house, they did. It was one of the most bad ass things I've ever seen.

As someone who used to rent houses I often came across this situation and had a very unique solution. So I share it for anyone interested. The police always defer to whichever person is standing in the house. They told the person outside they have to handle the situation through the courts. So you have to be in the house. What I would do was enter the house even if I had to break a window in back (its my house) with a gas mask on and throw 6 bug bombs. At the people ran outside I quickly changed the locks. I would bring a couple of large men with me to stand outside and argue with the person I was evicting. This of course was always after they had their 30 days notice and had not gotten out. Usually they would call the police. When the police arrived I let my buddies quickly come back in & we were the ones in the house physically. Telling the police I own the house. I had papers showing the squatters had been evicted 30 days ago and other new papers, showing I had rerented the home to someone else. This is where my other two guys would come in. They would say," they" lived there now, they had moved in a week ago and they don't know why these people were coming back. They had their lease in hand proving they live there for over a week because of course the other people were supposed to be out a week ago according to the legal paperwork. Then invariably, the cops would just tell the evicted people WHO WERE OUTSIDE, that they needed to take it up in civil court. The cops aren't going to force someone out who has an active lease. Sometimes I wouldn't even stay for the police scene I would just leave that to my two operatives. Who were posing as my new tenants. The bug bombs work great to get them out. You could even just not answer the door when the police came after all they don't have a warrant. You just have to physically get them out of the building and then change the locks. It should be added that I always returned all belongings to the renters, putting them out at the curb.
