"Hello" is a song by English singer Adele. It was released on 23 October 2015 by XL Recordings as the lead single from her third studio album, 25 (2015). Adele co-wrote the song with her producer, Greg Kurstin. "Hello" is a piano ballad with soul influences, and lyrics that discuss themes of nostalgia and regret. Upon release, the song was well received by music critics, who compared it favourably to Adele's previous work and praised the song's lyrics and Adele's vocals.
"Hello" was written by Adele and Greg Kurstin and produced by the latter. Kurstin also played bass, guitar, drums, piano and keyboards, while Adele also played drums. "Hello" was written in Chiswick, London, something not normally done by Adele, who said she likes to write her music at home. The writing process for the song was slow, taking six months to complete. Initially Adele and Kurstin started writing the first verse; finishing half of the song, six months later Adele contacted Kurstin to finish the song with her, with Kurstin stating he was not sure "if Adele was ever going to come back and finish it."
"Hello" attained international commercial success reaching number one in almost every country it charted in, including the United Kingdom, where it became her second UK number-one single, following "Someone like You", and has the largest opening week sales in three years. In the United States, "Hello" debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Adele's fourth number-one on the chart and breaking several records, including becoming the first song to sell over a million digital copies in a week.

To put it into the Classical Crossover (CC) genre we decided to record it in Spanish as it had a much smoother or "ballad-like" feel to it. :) I hope you enjoy - this is one of my few forays into 'modern' music.

That's beautiful, Anya. I don't know a word of Spanish but I know some of the lyrics of the original. I can only repeat what I've stated before, you have a powerful operatic voice that has very few peers. I also loved the slideshow in the video. I'd almost bet your sister put that together. I would have to spend the entire day rehearsing if I had to sing such a song. You did all the ornaments nicely. And singing it in a non mother language also made it a bit harder didn't it, or maybe not? when you gotta make it sound good, every letter must be heard. I had jitters when I sung few songs from Eros Ramazzotti in Italian it was like: "will it sound good? will I pronounce the words properly..." LOL, and you're a professional who overcomes every challenge, that's just a walk in the park for you :) Spanish is a nice exotic language, good choice

Well that's ok, same here, but then again who's good at math? Only few, most people dislike it :) I barely passed the 7th grade because of the math, in other subjects I was good. What 's the hardest part for you in math? For me Pythagorean Theorem, it ate all my brain cells and gave me nightmares and even trouble with my parents. Luckily you won't need math at all for your plans in the future.

Beautiful Anastasia! Saw Andrea Bocelli on PBS Thanksgiving weekend. Songs from the Cinema. if you go on "You Tube" and type in "Andrea Bocelli Cinema Deluxe" it will have all of the songs he sang on the PBS Show. If you just type in Andrea Bocelli Cinema they leave off the song "Love Is A Many Splendored Thing", which was sung on his PBS Special. On the PBS Special Andrea sings a duet with Arianna Grande, E Piu Ti Penso. It would be beautiful if you and your sister Tatiana could sing this in a duet. It is a beautiful song. He also sings the old Mario Lanza song, '"Be My Love". I would love to hear you sing that song, with your beautiful voice. Maria from West Side Story , Moon River, Music Of The Night, Mi Mancherai, L'emore e una cosa maravigliosa" (Love is a many splendored thing). God Bless you, Tatiana and your family!
