You're right...you're no genuis... It is only 3 ingredients...it's a cream, that you can buy as one ingredient so you don't have to make, graham crackers and strawberries..
omfg. they show the recipe to a dairy-free whipped cream for those who are lactose intolerant because they are nice. they count it as only one ingredient though, because you can also just take normal whipped cream. And if you had been even more intelligent, you would have read the title and figured it out by yourself.
Ingredients: 1-Coconut Milk 2- Powdered Sugar 3- Vanilla Extract 4- Strawberries 5- Graham Crackers So how is this a 3 ingredient cake if there's 5 ingredients?
Instead of scooping out the coconut cream next time just turn it to where the coconut cream is on the bottom of the can and open it up then pour out the coconut water. And then just scoop out the cream like normal. So much easier!
Whats confusing about it? If you refrigerate the can the coconut cream and coconut water separate. So instead of scooping out the cream turn the can over, open it up, and dump out the water. It's easier so you can get all the coconut cream out with no water.
Makes a video about not cutting off the top of a strawberry. Makes a video which involves cutting off the top of a strawberry. *slow clap for Buzzfeed*
This looks really good! I am pleased to see that their using natural sweetness from strawberries instead of using something with a ton of added sugar to add flavor.
In the Philippines, we make mango floats, which are just like this but easier to make because the strawberries are mangoes and the cream is condensed milk, plus theyre RREAALLY good
When they said '3 ingredients', I do believe they were just talking about the main, definitely 'required-for-this-cake' ingredients. Strawberries, Creme Mixture, and Graham-Crackers. You do not NEED to put in the Powdered Sugar and the Vanilla Extract. Ok?
Jonathan Reke omfg. they show the recipe to a dairy-free whipped cream for those who are lactose intolerant because they are nice. they count it as only one ingredient though, because you can also just take normal whipped cream.
omfg. they show the recipe to a dairy-free whipped cream for those who are lactose intolerant because they are nice. they count it as only one ingredient though, because you can also just take normal whipped cream.
I just made these this morning. I needed to use small drinking glasses because one can of coconut cream was not enough to fill an 8 by 8 pan. The whipped cream smelled so amazing I had to sample some-realllly good. We are letting them chill out in the fridge until tonight. I'm so exited to have a vegan recipe to make for my family (we are all vegans) keep up the good work buzzfeed! What I'm going to do with the leftover coconut water is to add pineapple juice and almond milk ice cream and make a smoothie.
We used cream of coconut, and we didn't get that much, so I would suggust getting two cans of Cram Of Coconut, and doubling the cream recipe. 😜good luck!

Using bananas instead of strawberries makes it taste soooooo much better. Because that is exactly how you make banana cream pie but it just swapped the berry.
for separating the coconut solids, you can turn the can over and just drain the water out instead of leaving it right side up and having to remove the solids first and getting them mixed with the water.
2 to 24 hours? 2 it is!
Spider lol ikr
Hahah! That's what I thought.
Spider lol yup.
Spider we have this in Mex, it's called >Carlota
+Zio0 Rgz it is! my mom made it for my birthday party and I ate almost the entire thing 😂
2-24 HOURS?! Ain't nobody got time for that!
I knowwwww. It's way too much time
Or you could go out and buy one.
CandyRockzz Genius
Christina S. its 2-24 hours -_-
2 to 24. meaning you can take it out after 2 hours
that was more than 3 ingredients
Exactly!
Nope it's 3
They probably meant main things
They meant the main things,
-the cookies
-the strawberries
-the cream ( they just showed you a recipe to make it if you wanted )
Yeah but doesn't change the fact they've used more than 3 ingredients when the title clearly said "3 Ingredients"
i like that its vegan
Victoria Daisy ya me to
Victoria Daisy same :3 i really wanna make this now
Jennifer Jimenez They don't. They do have honey tho.
Victoria Daisy only if the biscuits (can contain eggs, milk or butter) are vegan
+Harry the Googly Ball OMG THIS WITH OREOS
if only i had the effort to make this...
touchdalight Zayn?
you look nothing like zayn ahahahha
Same I'd rather just buy it lol
touchdalight If only it wasn't the work effort total of 5 minutes Q.Q ...
touchdalight you are everywhere dude!
Title : "Three Ingredients"
Video : 5 ingredients .... BuzzfeedMath Should be a new channel .
I thought the same xD
CatsForLyfe ! you do realize that powdered sugar and vanilla extract are also ingredients
Hahaha xD
^^ if you don't add strawberries and graham crackers it's just ice cream
JVN 5 and 3 are the same thing now its 2015 god get with it
Shows off a life hack on how to slice a strawberry correctly, completely ignores it's own advise
Ikr
The amount of strawberry they waste ;-; And ikr😂 I was thinking the sameee
Haha i was just gonna say that
Their*
@sallycat Complains about someone not spelling correctly and being a grammar nazi, yet can't even use the correct form of their.
So get this
.

.
BuzzFeedFood
Actually a great idea
they have a buzzfeed food channel, but they havent posted in like 6 months is all.
Hahahahaha thats funny
Destiny Gomez There is a facebook page called that :)
Destiny Gomez well isnt BuzzFeedBlue like the food channel? ... except this is posted on regular BuzzFeed... DAMN BuzzFeed destroys my logic Q.Q
i made this...ITS SO GOOD
SAME, it's delicious!
i dont like coconut
+Greta Maskoliūnaitė why not?😂
They never said it was going to be 3 ingredients
+The Chi-City Adventure Kids They did at the start.
I'm no genius but I'm pretty sure that was more then 3 I ingredients.
You're right...you're no genuis... It is only 3 ingredients...it's a cream, that you can buy as one ingredient so you don't have to make, graham crackers and strawberries..
Denyse Jones the cream the graham crackers the powdered sugar the vanilla the Strawberry's
Pretty sure that's more than 3 ingredients

And if you had been even more intelligent, you would have read the title and figured it out by yourself.
Haha I was just about to say I'm so bad at math but I counted way more than three lol
***** If you don't do it the way they made the video you could just buy a cake. 1 ingredient.
Ingredients:
1-Coconut Milk
2- Powdered Sugar
3- Vanilla Extract
4- Strawberries
5- Graham Crackers
So how is this a 3 ingredient cake if there's 5 ingredients?
You didn't have to make the cream...it was just showing you a recipe for it
Denyse Jones
You're putting it INTO the cake, so you HAVE to count it as an ingredient. Anything you put into the cake to make it is an ingredient.
Undying Night
Hah! Rude. #ByeFelicia
jasmines will
Yeah I saw Friday when I was a teenager, Please don't assume I don't know all about that movie.
Fairly Løcal
Don't make assumptions.
Instead of scooping out the coconut cream next time just turn it to where the coconut cream is on the bottom of the can and open it up then pour out the coconut water. And then just scoop out the cream like normal. So much easier!
Paige Harville you just made it more confusing.....
Whats confusing about it? If you refrigerate the can the coconut cream and coconut water separate. So instead of scooping out the cream turn the can over, open it up, and dump out the water. It's easier so you can get all the coconut cream out with no water.
How bout you just scoop it.... regularly... with a spoon
If you do it that way then you might get some water mixed in with it.
민윤기 I was just suggesting another way to do it. Not my fault it was confusing to you, apparently 24 other people understood it.
This music relates as much to my life as it does to the video
Should've named it strawberry lasagna
I remember when Buzzfeed had fun facts videos instead of food videos.
Those were the days.
I'm good with food videos....
Don't they have a food channel? Shouldn't FOOD videos be on a FOOD channel?
that's why they have buzzfeed blue DUH buzzfeed videos is mostly skits and reacts
This is the first video where buzzfeed didn't make a mess in a food video just to make it seem "fast and easy" and I appreciate it a lot
im vegan and im always looking for delicious recipes thanks buzzfeed
I love the songs in buzzfeeds videos.
Listening Flamenco in this video looks amazing for a stranger and funny for a spanish 😂
The music is AMAZING! It goes so well with the video, too.
Makes a video about not cutting off the top of a strawberry.
Makes a video which involves cutting off the top of a strawberry.
*slow clap for Buzzfeed*
Thanks BuzzFeed, always loved your cooking demonstrations but now as a vegan I'm really loving that you guys post this stuff!
The cream never separated from the water.
I was so excited when they kept layering the cake 😊
Instead of me noticing the vegan cream or the graham crackers being called biscuits I got mad that it was called cake :p
It's a icebox cake
Got it Thank you
the music makes me so happy for some reason
interesting music
This video is filmed so nicely and I watch it every other month just because I like it so much
feeling the vegan love on buzzfeed recently!
This looks really good! I am pleased to see that their using natural sweetness from strawberries instead of using something with a ton of added sugar to add flavor.
Am I the only one who finds the music really annoying?
In the Philippines, we make mango floats, which are just like this but easier to make because the strawberries are mangoes and the cream is condensed milk, plus theyre RREAALLY good
who feels the music is annoying? Sorry its just my opinion :D
Yep it is XD
Soooo annoying
lol
whoevers behind all of these 3 recipes vids, YOU ROCK!!
mm okay that actually looks good
I'm happy you put Spanish music! and also, great recipe!
I thought the title said detox.... This is my kind of detox...
Yay finally a vegan recipe. Thank you Buzzfeed! 😄
When they said '3 ingredients', I do believe they were just talking about the main, definitely 'required-for-this-cake' ingredients.
Strawberries, Creme Mixture, and Graham-Crackers.
You do not NEED to put in the Powdered Sugar and the Vanilla Extract. Ok?
Dat flamenco in the background like YAAAS
i would probably end up messing this up somehow like i do with every food i try to make xD
I know right! That happens all the time to me too! :D
Maaike van Dierendonck i thought i was the only one xD
@Jennifer Gomez No, you're not alone haha, I have that all the time haha
I like that flamenco song, its from where I live. Viva Sevilla!
IM SO HAPPY THIS IS VEGAN
Math? Not even once
What's 9+10?
Buzzfeed: 3
Jonathan Reke omfg. they show the recipe to a dairy-free whipped cream for those who
are lactose intolerant because they are nice. they count it as only one
ingredient though, because you can also just take normal whipped cream.
21
This looks heavenly
Wait a minute... They shared it at the end! I don't have to do that do I?
This actually looks really good
Isnt this 5 ingredients?
omfg. they show the recipe to a dairy-free whipped cream for those who are lactose intolerant because they are nice. they count it as only one ingredient though, because you can also just take normal whipped cream.
Free14nder the vanilla extract and powdered sugar is optional, it adds flavor
vids central flavor isn't optional.
How did you get it to seperate? I put in my refrigerator for 12 hours yet it didn't seperate at all. It's still coconut milk
We used cream of coconut, and we didn't get that much, so I would suggust getting two cans of Cram Of Coconut, and doubling the cream recipe. 😜good luck!
Oh, I realized that you need to refrigerate it for 24 hours to get the cream seperated. Thanks by the way.
I am thinking you can just use cool whip right? Forget the coconut whipping and all that stuff. Would make it much easier...
Yep
Yeah
AsianImage This is a vegan recipe. Cool whip is not vegan. But if you aren't vegan, then yes cool whip is much easier.
They make coconut whip that's just like Cool Whip, but vegan. And it's so tasty 😋. That's easier than the coconut milk in the fridge thing.
+AsianImage Cool whip is disgusting.
It's really similar to a Philippine dessert called Mango Float.
Dear Girl allergic to sunlight,
please stop haunting me.
That was the best 1 ingredient cake I've ever seen.
So i'm guessing you can do this with other fruits too?
Mahi Patel I think soo
Mahi Patel No, it's absolutely forbidden. Do not do it, when you are not a professional. Just on your own risk
+Mahi Patel We always make this with ripe mango. More delicious.
Spain loves Buzzfeed
wtf is this music and why did it remind me of roller coaster tycoon
This should be a BuzzfeedBlue Video!
Can we just use normal whipped cream?
You could but it probably wouldn't taste the same, but it would still taste good
Cherish Its more to the fact that I fucking hate coconut.
***** You actually can
A better substitute is heavy whipping cream or all purpose cream with sugar or, my favorite, sweetened condensed milk.
I don't see why not. If I made this I would have to cause no one at my house likes coconut & one is allergic
FINALLY SOMETHING SOMEWHAT HEALTHY!
I was gonna do it until u showed me the aftermath...
I love her bracelet.
The layering of the biscuits pissed me off.
*Refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours* Right...
i like that flamenco song, its from where i live. Viva Sevilla!!
You can't use multiple ingredients to make one ingredient and say it's only 3 ingredients.
omfg. they show the recipe to a dairy-free whipped cream for those who are lactose intolerant because they are nice. they count it as only one ingredient though, because you can also just take normal whipped cream.
Substitutes count as 1 ingredient no matter what is in it. Its just a dairy free substitute to cool whip
This seems vegan... Is it?
kris holz i think it would depend on the cookies you used
kris holz I'm pretty sure that it is vegan
kris holz yaaas
kris holz It says vegan in title. Its actually the first word -_-
Lily Taylor When she asked this yesterday "Vegan" wasn't on the title. Buzzfeed put it after they saw a lot of people stating it is also vegan
I made this... It was incredible! I just used agave instead of sugar, but it tastes really good
I made this. It's not that bad but its not healthy 😂
Milk and Cookies Who said cakes were healthy lmao
I like that song, its from where I live. Viva Sevilla!
So basically a portuguese bolo de bolacha?? The crap way on how to make it though!
Lol
Love the background music.
The heck is with that music? Is it some weird Spanish holiday I don't know about?
😂😂😂
Missile wow
I love your way of editing❤️
this music is so annoying
Love these kinds of videos buzzfeed!
Dam I'm early oh wait NO ONE CARES
I love how there's no in between for the refrigeration
THEY WASTED SO MUCH OF THOSE STRAWBERRIES
Wasted?
yes wasted, hehehe im a loser
It's basically a healthy tiramisu
This looks so good I'm going to cry
I like that song, its from where I live. Sevilla!
I loved the song.
Actually looks amazing
My sister made this before!!! It's so good!!!!
that is the best strawberry cake I ever saw
Congrats on 7 MILLION
YES!!!! I love seeing some vegan recipes!!!
The longer you refrigerate for, the softer it will be, the softer it is the better it is.
Using bananas instead of strawberries makes it taste soooooo much better. Because that is exactly how you make banana cream pie but it just swapped the berry.
i just can't stop hearing the minions in the background and can't deal
this is a really creative video idea and I loved it! happy bday Karla :)
This looks amazing
BuzzFeed should seriously consider changing its name to BuzzFood. I love it tho
Qué flamenco te has vuelto, BuzzFeed.
My family does this with peaches too bc we had a peach tree and it's so good!
Oooh I could totally make these vegan if I made this with graham crackers without honey in them! Love this recipe idea.
for separating the coconut solids, you can turn the can over and just drain the water out instead of leaving it right side up and having to remove the solids first and getting them mixed with the water.
This is beautiful
Finally a dairy free recipe!!! Something I can eat!!
This is the best day of my life
