Do you believe this too? The Bible says in revelation 22:14, “ Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Ask yourself this question: which one or ones of the following Ten Commandments do Jesus wants us to keep and obey? 1. I make something similar that is called Watergate salad but it calls for a package of instant pistachio pudding instead of the condensed milk. I also use it as a light and fluffy cake frosting.
Here's a HEALTHY version: Waldorf salad...2-3 chopped apples, 1.5-2 cups thinly sliced celery, Tbsp or 2 of mayo, tiny bit of horseradish. handful or 2 of walnut pieces, . Also add a small amount of raisins, craisins and/or green grapes. So delish, so healthy! Don't let the horseradish scare u away from trying this lovely dish. U can make it with red and green apples for the holidays for a festive, colorful version.
Yes! I also add a carton of cottage cheese & on occasion mini marshmallows. Easy as doing nothing & most everyone loves it unless of course you don't like Cool Whip. My dear sweet daddy would have rather choked on shoe leather than put Cool Whip in his mouth. 😊
I do something similar… pineapple, mandarin oranges, maraschino cherries, sweet shredded coconut, cool whip and a little sour cream. We call it ambrosia. It’s especially great to bring to BBQ as a dessert 😊
A lot of partial amounts from can and containers. I’d just double the recipe and use everything up. Also, if you want to incorporate the juice from the pineapple, swap the condensed milk for a jello mix of your liking. So do 2 cans crushed pineapple (with juice), one packet any flavor jello mix (a tropical type flavor would go best), and one tub cool whip. ❤
You can also use the frozen strawberries in juice and the same thing. I used to be creative and use small can drained pineapple and half container of the strawberries drained and a small mashed banana for a banana split pie! Just mix it all together put in crusts, put in the fridge for about an hour, add whole strawberries to top and voila, delicious
My mom makes something similar but layers it on a crust with walnuts cooked into the crust (snlaw uses a graham cracker) and layer it with cool whip and sprinkle walnut on top. Thanks for this video childhood memory unlocked and now I need to call my mom to make this for me.
My mom used to make this but she also added Jell-O Pistachio pudding mix and chopped pecans so with the dry pudding mix it takes more sweetened condensed milk. MMMMM
I have made this hundreds of times but use crushed pineapple and always add a can of cherry pie filling. I get requests for the 'fluffy pink stuff.' Yum!! And you can lighten it up with sugar free cool whip, pudding, and pie filling, fat free condensed milk, and unsweetened pineapple.
So simple but oh wow is it delicious! Thank you for this recipe! I did add a nice layer of McVitie's wheat biscuit big chunk crumbles on top of the pineapple mixture, for some crunchy texture, and it was amazing. Any cookie crumbles or similar would probably work.
In our family we use 16 Oz crushed pineapple drained, container of cool whip, 16 Oz cottage cheese and a box of sugar free jello. It’s more substantial and you get a protein from the cottage cheese. ☮️
If you want to take it to another level add one small box packet of your favorite flavor jello. With the pineapple I prefer the cherry jello packet. OMG MMM MMM GOOD.
I can't bake in my oven this year because it's broke. I've been wanting to find a few recipes that don't require cooking or baking. I really love pineapple so I think I'm going to add this recipe to my holiday dinners. 😋 Thanks for a yummy recipe!
Sounds sooo YUMMMMY !!! I think I'm gonna hafta make this and put the filling in a Graham Cracker crust for my family's Christmas party this year. It seems so simple and easy to make. TYSM for sharing this video with us. YUMMM, again !!! 😋😋😋
I made these for my family's Christmas party and they loved them. Later, for New Year's Eve, I made them with Pineapple Chunks in place of the crushed. The chunks were good, but, not quite as tasty as with the crushed. I also put about double the coconut and pecans in mine both times I made them. I guess that's why the recipe made one deep dish and two regular graham cracker crust pies worth. They are somewhat addictive to me ! YUMMM !!!
Looks so good! I make 7-up salad a lot. 7-up with melted marshmallows, cream cheese with lime jello, stir all together and added crushed pineapple. Refrigerate for 4 hrs. Serve with cool whip!

I've got a pineapple and Cool Whip recipe I've posted elsewhere, but I'll post it here, too. The name makes it sound like a winter only treat, but it's perfect for summer, too. CHRISTMAS CANDLESTICKS Canned pineapple slices Bananas Maraschino cherries Cool Whip On a saucer, place pineapple slice. Peel a banana. Cut the tips off, but it in half, stand up one of the halves in the hole in the pineapple slice, and set aside the other half for use in making another candlestick. Using a toothpick, attach a cherry to the top of the standing banana half. Artfully apply some Cool Whip to the side and base of the banana. The pineapple slice and saucer are the candle holder, the banana is the candle, the cherry is the flame, and the Cool Whip is the melting wax. This is so easy to make, I had my elementary school students (as young as 2nd grade) make their own as part of the class Christmas party (I would handle the knife for cutting the bananas, of course). When I told my students about this treat ahead of time, they were like, "Yeah, so what?" But once they were having fun making them and then eating them, they were crazy for them. So much so that I always made sure to have enough ingredients so that each kid could make and eat two. I thought that it made for a healthy dessert after eating the pizza and wings that their parents would bring in. When you're cooking Christmas dinner or cooking on the grill in the summer, and the kids are driving you crazy asking when dinner will be ready (because the smell of all that great food is driving them crazy), set them to work making these easy yet tasty treats as appetizers (for Christmas) or desserts (for summer BBQs).

You can add pecans, and maraschino cherries. I believe instant pudding as well. Also, place it in a ready made gram cracker pie crust, by making a pie out of it. A lot of these recipes are are pretty old, although it’s appreciated it. I saw this in a recipe book years before the internet, not telling my age. It was called a millionaire’s pie. I brought it to pot lucks at my job. Used to get a complements for it. This the basic version of an old recipe. Thanks for sharing.
Freeze that juice and use it in dressings, marinades, beverages, glazes, and in other baked desserts in lieu of adding more sugar or acid. Pineapple juice should _never_ be thrown out! It’s liquid gold. 😜
I make a similar dessert called pineapple delight. Instead is condensed milk I use a large box of vanilla instant pudding and may add some chopped pecans. Thanks for sharing.
I hope everyone drinks the pineapple juice, instead of pouring it down the kitchen sink. I LOVE pineapple juice & I could never waste it!
Add pineapple juice to orange juice for a delicious change.
It also makes a great meat marinade to tenderize it.

I do the same plus adding 1/4 cup of lemon juice before pouring into graham cracker crust.. yummy
@@patriciatate-jackson96 Yesss! I meant to include that in my reply: I, too, use lemon juice to thicken up the condensed milk and BOY, does it ever thicken it!
Definitely going to try this. Maybe scoop it into a graham cracker crust before cooling.
I added Honey Nut Cheerios to mine for a bit of crunch love it 😊
Freeze that juice and use it in dressings, marinades, beverages, glazes, and in other baked desserts in lieu of adding more sugar or acid. Pineapple juice should _never_ be thrown out! It’s liquid gold. 😜
I make a similar dessert called pineapple delight. Instead is condensed milk I use a large box of vanilla instant pudding and may add some chopped pecans. Thanks for sharing.
l had made this before. Someone had given me the recipe, it tastes good.
Would be a great topping for a pineapple upside down cake 😋❤
Thanks, this looks great. I wonder if orange juice could be added to make it orange pineapple? Orange pineapple ice cream is my favorite!
That is an interesting idea, let me know how it tastes if you make it!
@@sidrasheikh8999 I can't take credit for the idea! It's an ice cream flavor of Mayfield Dairy farm in Tennessee.
I think I’d do half crushed half bits for texture. Def gonna try it. I love easy!
Wow, I'm so happy I came across your recipe! I'm coming make this...have all I need 😍 TFS!
Enjoy!
We make ours with strawberries & 1/3 cup of lemon juice. I’ll have to try the pineapple
Oh, I love strawberries, I might give that a try!
looks good
I made this for the kids. I used a gram cracker pie shell and pineapples on top with cherries delicious 🥰🥰😄
Sounds delicious!
Use this in a nice wine glass , layer with sesonal fresh strawberries, then blueberrie, kiwi, . Adds more flavour, colour, and a WOW factor.
How my parents made it growing up ❤
