I really Love your "Before/After" shots in the same Screen. Thats REALLY helps get an understanding what each step does to the Model. Also it helps great to identify steps that can be "skipped" when going for Speedpainting/getting TabelTopReady :)
I got inspiration from white dwarf and army book painting guides. They show each step next to each other so you can see the sequence of steps together. I wanted to bring into my videos because it’s so powerful visually as you can even pause the video when you need to and all the info is right there together
@@TableTopReadyRUclips i also immediatly was reminded of white dwarf. I'm watching people painting minis for years now, and never new that I'm missing this editing style. Makes you really stand out. Please continue and I wish you many subs :)
Thank you. I really want to make something of this channel. I’ve been very lucky and surprised with the amount of love and support and I would be an idiot to waste that ☺️
This is a really excellent guide, It's long enough to give the information needed but has no cruft. It's made even better by the fact that the end result is really great.
I konw this in an old video, but it may be the best painting tutorial I've seen. It's informative, easy to follow, and doesn't waste any time with fluff or anything unneccessary. Thanks for this!
Your videos are always so well explained and shot! I just wanted to say that you're my "go to" guy when I need to watch how to paint 40k things... It helps that I also collect orks and marines, so thanks for all the great advice!
My favorite painting channel, I love how you break it down, the camera work, I even dig the background music man. I hope your channel keeps growing, and remember…Orks is da best!
Awsome 😃 I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial. I thought to myself if there is one thing everyone could appreciate in this video, it’s gonna be the mouth haha
Hey, just found your channel as I've begun my first army. I'd love to see a tutorial for the new painboss model, but everything you've already done has been super helpful. Keep it up!
Fantastic tutorial! Can’t wait to give it a go. It would be amazing to see you paint the Kill Rig, especially the squig with its red to flesh colour 👍🏼
Thank you. I’m probably not going to do a video for the kill rig unfortunately. But there is definitely more Ork tutorials in the future but after I’ve had a break and do some other factions haha
Just bought this model as…. Its just cool…. Your tutorial is mega…. Thanks for posting as i am gonna follow this step by step and hopefully have something resembling your standard for my display case….!
O that’s wicked. This is such a nice model to paint. I hope you enjoy painting it as well and make sure to take your time with it and enjoy. Have a look at how I do the skin in the flash gitz tutorial as it’s a nicer finish. As well I would replace using lahmian medium with just water where ever I say to use lahmian medium 👍🏻 good luck
I loved the model, but now want to buy one just to follow this guide. You make it look enjoyable to achieve a level of finishing I thought would have been a pain.
I absolutely love these tutorials, brother. A while ago, I followed your Warboss in Mega Armor video when painting my own trying to get it to look like what's on the box, and now I'm gonna do that again for Mozrog. I would like to know what you use to make that wicked sweet red earth base and how you do it. Thanks very much, can't wait to see your Flash Gitz tutorial.
That warboss tutorial is one of my favourites and I’m still proud of how it turned out every time I look at the miniature. The basing material is a mix I get from geek gaming scenics. I hope you like the flash got video as well
Fantastic work. So far best tutorials to start with and everything is described in detail. How about a tutorial for glass, liquids or faces? I really would like to see your techniques for those.
Haha I don’t think I could ever make enough Ork content to keep you satisfied. I will be moving away from Orks for the next few tutorials but I will always go back and create Ork content here and there
Late comment, but i'm really digging your videos! Your editing style and close up shots are great and really easy to follow, and your schemes are awesome. I'm thinking of trying your Ork skin scheme for my kommandos. keep it up!
It’s never too late 😁 thanks for the great comment. The kommandos are great to paint, so many cool little details. I’m sure you’ll enjoy painting them 💪🏻
MIchael how did you paint the barrel of Mozrogs gun? Did you try to use multiple metallics to get the shine effect or only used one metallic? Did you use a shade on yours? Mine always seems to get too dull. So I am thinking what you did differently.
the gun is painted at the same time as all the other metals. I do like to use different tones and colours for orc metals. if you think its looking dull then just lighten up after whatever shade your using. be sure to add your highlight as well
I'm glad this video is the first one that came up when I searched for a tutorial on this, really like your style. I got one of these for Christmas, I have only painted about 10 minis ever though so I am not planning on doing this one too soon because I am sure lots of this is above my current skill level even though most of my painting was with guidance from someone else so learning some tricks quickly. Definitely going to come back and refresh my memory as I start in the future.
Mozrog was so much fun to paint and its worth taking your time with him. You do get extra bits in the kit that don't get used, you can always practice on these first. You can always start with getting all the base colours panted first, instead of the order I paint him in. You'll fee better when there is some colours on him. you can then do the other stuff if and when your ready
During the assembly part, you are placing the pieces in place and then appling glue on the outside. This looks weird to me, but I did not see you puting green stuff or anything like that to close the gaps afterwards. Can you how you do this and how to avoid it melting details?
That just how that perticular glue works, it's tamiya thin. it evaperates pretty quickly and is best let it work its way into gaps. green stuff isna't needed as these kits go together very well like a bandai kit.
I usually like an equal mix. try that out and see how you like it. You may want more or less of the lahmian medium. maybe test it out on a spare part first
I’m gonna be honest. I did start a ghaz tutorial but it became so much work, I couldn’t finish it and do it justice at the same time. It maybe something I revisit in the future though
@@TableTopReadyRUclips Thanks for the reply! I'm gunna work on Ghazz probably this summer (I'm a teacher) but I'm a bit intimidated by his sculpt. Honestly though, you've inspired me to paint my boyz finally so thank you! LOVE your work!
Lovely work as always, thanks for sharing! As a tiny bit of constructive feedback, I wanted to say I always struggle a little focusing on your voice over the volume/beats of the background music. Might only be me, but I wanted to let you know, as your channel grows and you're reaching more and more new viewers. :)
🤔 hmmm a deathskull deff dredd. I’ll certainly add it to my list of good ideas 😃 I have a couple of custodes tutorials and a blood angels tutorial I’m gonna get done next though 👍🏻

This channel has the best orc painting guides by far, solid work as always
Thank you very much as always. The support really means a lot
That arm tattoo really sets him apart, great work
Thank you. I do want to get better at this kind of stuff
Great content as usual man! Thanks!
:D
well, you've just shown me how to paint my entire Ork army...thanks! Your Mozrog ended up Incredible!
thank you, this was one of my all time favourites :)
the free hand painting of the tattoo was really cool. makes me want to try that out. thank you for the vid
Your very welcome. I wanted to show people you don’t have to over think things when doing something like mozrog’s tattoo
I really love the white/grey color scheme. It makes me think of a great white cybershark with the robotic parts. Excellent work dude. 🤘🏻
Thank you. This is one of my favourites

Oh damn I never would have thought about doing the tattoo shapes in reverse! haha
That’s what I’m here for. I like showing people different ways of getting thief miniatures painted
My favorite painting channel, I love how you break it down, the camera work, I even dig the background music man. I hope your channel keeps growing, and remember…Orks is da best!
Orks is the best, Orks is never beat. That’s a huge compliment, thank you. I’ll do my best to push forward with the channel ☺️
very nice cheers
Thank you
This has got me so hyped to paint my own! Your videos are great, thank you so much! Ill be doing my own scheme but definitely doing these teeth!
Awsome 😃 I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial. I thought to myself if there is one thing everyone could appreciate in this video, it’s gonna be the mouth haha
That was excellent. I find the information very easily digestible and the demonstration just sticks in my mind.
Thank you very much. The comments are always appreciated 😁
That turned out great. You made the tatoo look easy. Good work!
Thank you very much. My aim is always to make things as easy as possible for people. I do the hard work so you don’t have to ha 😄

That’s amazing, I really hope you enjoy your Orks. I have no plans for the painboss at the moment but you never know for the future 😉
That’s the ork skin I had been looking for. Will try this out very soon.
Awsome. The flash Gitz tutorial shows my favourite recipe for Ork skin 😉
love all your ork painting vids
Thank you very much
Excellent video mate, it was super useful and made it way easier to have someone do all the thinking for me!
Haha thank you. I wish someone would think me 😭
Used a ton of your techniques on starting my own Ork army. Thank you so much
That’s amazing. It’s always good to know my tutorials are helping people get their own stuff painted 😄
Glad to see your vids back mate
Cheers Ed. I’m getting back on it. This video took longer than I expected to be honest

Fantastic, this makes me want to paint my Beastboss this way too (trying to copy da big boss)
I loved the model, but now want to buy one just to follow this guide. You make it look enjoyable to achieve a level of finishing I thought would have been a pain.
This miniature is definitely a must have. I really enjoyed painting it and it’s a bit different to other Ork units you maybe painting.
Nice looking Squig!
Thank you very much 😃
Love the tattoos on his shoulder, kinda reminds me of Samoan tatau.
Hey thanks for that detail explanatory video you gave so much help I almost finished mine I need to be ready in 2/3 days
I hope you managed to get this guy finished, I remember it took me some time to paint. Such a great miniature

new to your channel. Nice work and explanations. This is one of the best guides for this model Ive seen. Keep up the good work.
Welcome to the channel 😃 I’m really glad you enjoyed this tutorial. It was a lot of work ha
Hi, wondefrul tutorial. Thank you. Is there anywhere where you go over how to do the base? Thank you, James
Thank you. for the base I use a martian mix from geek gaming scenics and stick it down with PVA glue. nice and easy
Great video and really easy to follow. Thinking about doing all my squigs this colour for my evil sunz as red squigs seem a bit to much.
Oooo that would look really cool and a great idea. You may be right about too much red with evil sunz being red as well
i'm gonna have to make an orks painting guide list after this
I look forward to seeing this list
Fantastic work! I love your tutorials!
Thank you very much ☺️ I love making them
Could you show us how you paint gretchin?
Good stuff man, need more ork content.
Haha I don’t think I could ever make enough Ork content to keep you satisfied. I will be moving away from Orks for the next few tutorials but I will always go back and create Ork content here and there

I use geek gaming. Scenics. They have a Martian mix which is brilliant
Awesome as always 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿

Nonsense. Your capable of painting mozrog. Just takes time and practice. This tutorial shows you how I painted him as well 😁 I believe in yah
how did you go?
i followed this tutorial and it looks so damn cool.
How do you insert the tongue after painting it? Seems real fiddly to glue it into the proper position past the teeth
This is a pretty large model with a big mouth. Plenty of room to get the tongue in. Remember you would have to get it in anyway 😋
Now datz a squig!!
😃👍🏻 he’s moosive
And now the Beastboss on Squig!
Maybe in the future, but it would be very similar to the squighog tutorial. So if you can’t wait I would recommend following that tutorial ☺️
