- South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh was charged with murder Thursday in the deaths of his wife and younger son, who were fatally shot outside their home more than a year ago. Murdaugh faces dozens of criminal charges that have piled up in the months since his wife and their 22-year-old son, were killed. Nikki Battiste has more.

In my opinion this is what happens when one family holds an office for over 100 years, They think they are above the law and can get away with anything.
and you're 100% right. they get too comfortable and forget that you have to actual abide by the same laws they defend. dude is such a clown. just funny that he's been a lawyer this long but couldn't plan thos better😂. hes evil, a thief, liar, most especially he's the devil in human skin. lock him up with life no parole. let him suffer.

My family has the firm since 1880 and we (multi Millionaires) are a caring loving family. We are very mean, and dont give a penny to charity or anything. We call it thrift.
If some homeless bum calls to the door the maid is instructed to set the (Dobermann) dogs on him. This has happened a few times and we watch from the bay window.

These issues have been going on ever since his first son killed a young girl in a boat accident(2020 documentary) It all spiraled down from there and everything started coming out to light for him from there.
This families issues began before the boating wreck. The wreck opened a Pandora's box of skeletons . The Murdaugh's boys names were allegedly mentioned regarding the unexplained death of Stephen Smith too. He was murdered before the boat wreck.
Actually it started with a rumor of a homosexual relationship Buster or Paul had with a classmate. This classmate ended up dead after a hit and run. I’ve never seen anything like this.

@@nickthompson1812 A family member is more likely than anyone else to come home and find a family member dead--and to then call it in! That doesn't mean the caller is the killer. I think this guy was given massive privilege and assumption of innocence because of his wealth and his color, but that still doesn't make him guilty. He is innocent until proven guilty.

So many questions:
-Why was the younger son murdered? Wrong place, wrong time or was he defending his mother? Was dad that mad about the boating
accident?
-Why did he want the older son to get the multimillion dollar life insurance policy?
The Murdaughs have always had money. But the father knew that when all of his ill gotten gains were taken from him that the son would have next to nothing. It’s hard to be poor in this world but as you can imagine, it’s also hard to have come from a wealthy family where all the wealth disappeared & then leaving the son to try to make his way through life. Having the life insurance proceeds could’ve helped him at least a little.
beside boat accident there were two more deaths that happened before boat accident event ( one : Murdaugh housekeeper that fell from stairs, and another was 19 year old boy that were found dead not far from their residence as far as i remember ) both cases connected with Murdaugh younger son. You can google, you will find articles about those events.

@@r.williamcomm7693 I can see that. But, he kills the younger son and bails the older son out. I don’t get it. Yes, the younger son allegedly caused the death of a young woman. That case was going to cost in legal fees and perhaps a lawsuit. Motive, perhaps🤷🏾♀️

Reminder - gas station where beer sold, hired there own PI. PI placed a camera at the entrance a week or so before the murders. Police must know who drove in and who drove off property.

I just watched the Discovery ID series. Woah. I had no idea about this case and have been reading as much as possible. Speechless. I can’t wrap my head around all the crimes this man has allegedly committed. Especially killing his wife and son. I realize Alex has been inducted for both murders but regarding the two guns at Moselle…could Paul have possibly had one of the guns? There has been talk that he had no regard for anyone and that he could have possibly pushed Gloria, the housekeeper, down the stairs. Could he have shot his mom?

I feel terrible for buster. If you listen to the jail tapes buster actually seems like a relatively well adjusted nice kid. Especially considering that this man raised him (and his entire family outside of this man was murdered). He’s lost his entire family. Poor kid. How do you ever move forward after something like this?
All reports I read say Buster is a good kid. The rest well that's another story.
Time will tell if he had any knowledge...or involvement with any of the 5 murders connected to this family. You really just never know. (2015-Steven Smith, 2018-Gloria Satterfield, 2019-Mallory Beach and 2021- Magie & Paul Murdaugh)

I wonder if it taking a year to figure it out had anything to do with his position as a wealthy attorney? He'd be in jail for a year now if he worked at Burger King. Maybe we need to watch how much stock we put into being wealthy and successful when it comes to judging character and when it comes to having a functional justice system.
Nope. Its a massive crime with many folks that had been helping cover up his financial crimes for years will all be exposed.
Sure, when you are wealthy you have more resources. You can pay to fight in court and appeal. If you are poor you are limited to your resources. This is how the world will and always has been. Back when we were cavemen I bet the best hunter (most resources) got away with more things than someone who provided nothing to the camp.
