- The Swiss A220 is an amazing regional jet. The A220 by Airbus is also known as the C-Series by Bombardier. And Swiss was one of the first airlines to commit to the A220, which is why I jumped at the chance to try the plane on this journey from London's City Airport to Zurich.
The A220 is a great aircraft to fly out of London's challenging City Airport (LCY). If you watch this video, you'll see an amazing takeoff from London's City Airport, which is a unique airport. The Swiss A220 Takeoff

Like others have said, Delta has now placed an order on the A220 planes, following in the footsteps of the likes of Swiss, Air Baltic, and hopefully many other Airline companies will consider adding it to their fleets.

Very well reported engine problems, avionic faults to the point where crews are told on power up don't touch anything for minimum 10 mins though normally there are always faults displayed requiring a power down. Landing gears randomly collapsing... Shall I continue?

The c-series is going to become a familiar sight at airports with a full order book.
Loved the time-lapse views towards the end. Looks like a nice aircraft! It's interesting how renaming it an Airbus has made it seem far more mainstream. There's a part of me that feels sad that there's less independent airline manufacturers as the competition keeps them all honest, but alas, that's globalisation I guess.

I flew the A220 from Madrid to Geneva (HB-JCG) and from Geneva to Athens (HB-JCD) on Swiss. The last one was the best flight in my entire life because of the new plane, the great crew, the views and so much more. Nice videos Jeb.
This is so strange! I flew this plane yesterday from vienna to Zurich. I loved it!!!!
I really love London City Airport. Everything is so small, goes very fast and of course after landing you are directly in the City of London. However the LCY-Airport is still a real secret when you are travelling to London.
This is the route that I most want to travel one day. The C-Series looks like a beautiful aircraft and the descent into Zurich is breathtaking. Thanks for posting Jeb!

The A220 has that futuristic look. from the glass dash, side stick control and it just looks like a mini Boeing 787!

I flew a Swiss A220 from Zurich to Paris. Loved it. BTW, that creamy white stuff on the plate was a cheese mousse and is delicious.

- flight crew were professional and very smart. Delicious breakfast in business. And yes - chocolate, as well. Probably best coffee ever. Nice touch to have you own vehicle for business when you arrive - really does speed up transfer.

Delta owns 4 A220s and 2 of which fly to my hometown of Daytona Beach! The A220s are always on final over my house so I get the perfect view of the beautiful aircraft!

Wow!! You have no idea how excited this video made me! Porter Airlines still has a conditional order for the what was the Bombardier CS100 .. I've toured the aircraft and it's amazing!! The overheads are huge and our config had 10J class seats.. LOVED this post Jeb and it's only made me more excited about the A220.. safe travels!!!

The a220 looks a single isle version of a a330 with the a350 cockpit.

It's called Bombardier C Series. They rename it and you morons jizz all over it. No one cared when it was just the C Series.
I've seen photos of the A220 and I thought it was a nice looking airplane. Now that I've seen a video of it, I think it's a GORGEOUS aircraft!! Photos don't do it justice when you get to see the gorgeous views from the huge windows during flight!! Thank you for the great video Jeb!!

Hi Jen. Really enjoy your videos and your eloquent commentary. Haven’t read all the comments, but just for reference: the pilots don’t set the park brake on the runway, they just use toe brakes and hold the aircraft stationary until thrust is set...👍🏻😉

A220 beautiful plane. I actually am starting in March a A320 type rating to fly the A321. The A321 is my dream plane to fly and I can't believe I finally got accepted into a program! Awesome video
This just popped up on my feed and had to watch. What I find interesting about this is the A220 is a great "Regional" plane and now Delta is flying it from BWI to SLC - a 4.5-5 hour flight. That is a long way in a comfortable, but still regional jet. Liked the power jacking for take off.

I flew one of Delta’s newest birds at the time an A220 from SLC-DFW recently. Was a very nice flight and nice plane too. Probably the quietest plane I’ve ever been on to date.

Great video! I love flying on new planes and recently got to fly on Lufthansa’s 747-8 from Chicago to Frankfurt and their a350 from Munich to Chicago
I think the A220 is pretty sexy, plus its focused on being sustainable so that makes it even sexier.
I'm super excited about the A220. Typically fly LGA-MKE, which is usually handled by regional jets. Looking forward to the 2x3 seating like we had on the old Midwest Airlines.
