Great review like always! I’ve taken a few trips with Swiss the past two years. The great thing is like you mentioned the Senator Lounge for both Schengen and International, the food just hits the right spot and the Alpine lounge! Where else can you (in my case) get fresh eggs and ice cream for breakfast? But in all seriousness, it’s a very nice quiet retreat with great apron views!
I feel bad for advertising the Alpine lounge as it is a bit of a hidden gem - literally as it is quite hidden away! Ice cream and eggs - not sure about that!
Älplermagronen - cheese, cream, bacon, macaroni and apple sauce. If you're stuck up a mountain for winter, that's what you are going to have to eat. Push comes to shove, you sweep the barn floor and you have Muesli.

Thanks for all your content, some useful and interesting topics covered in the last few months.

Thanks, Matt. If it's a better ride, why not? It could be argued that the extra journey time through ZRH was balanced by your not having to get out to LHR and face any surprises they might have for you.
