You're welcome to the beta boy, we don't want him :)
@@garyblack2389 most people agree lmao

I personally think he made a mistake to move to this leftist controlled country full or weirdo’s that can’t figure out their gender and a president whos practically brain dead. I moved to this fucked up country and i quickly regretted it. The 🇺🇸 used to be an amazing country to live in but ever since these libtards leftist started to control the country and government. Our country quickly began to lose its ways and started becoming PURE SHIIIIIITT. Dont get ne started on the ppl that lie her tht walks around with a sence of entitlement due to their ancestors being slaves. They are genuinely class acts and most deserve what’s happens to them in my opinion

It takes allot of balls to move your entire family across countries. Respect, love, and happiness to you brother 🤲🏽❤️
Your video brings back memories. About 5 years ago my family and I moved from São Paulo, Brazil, to London. We decided to leave everything behind due to the complexity of dealing with ship containers, and take with us only the essentials. That meant a total of 24 checked in cardboard boxes, each one with 23 kg, plus a couple of carry-ons. We flew BA and they were extremely welcoming and helpful when they heard we were moving to ol' London.
Even though I'm watching this video 5 months after being published, Godspeed on this amazing adventure!
Yes
Cheers!
Good luck to you!
I moved from São Paulo to Düsseldorf, Germany in 2017 august
london is shit, its getting worse, have you moved back to brasil yet?
Noel! I am a Houston native! Welcome to the city! If you and your family ever need anything or a tour guide to all the great eats please reach out.
Sam is such a lovely guy. His Loo review was particularly well-produced. You can see he's a big fan of his dad's channel :)
He hit all the big points while handling someone knocking on the door- that would make most grown men crumple
By the way, I sincerely hope living in America brings you and your family much joy, prosperity and happiness! My family from Spain did the same thing in the 90s and moved to the D.C. suburbs of Alexandria, Virginia, where I lived with my mom. After selling everything they owned in Madrid and cashed in their chips, as it were, they became homesick and thru all went back 4 months later.😂😂 But they were older and didn't drive and getting around wasn't as easy as Madrid. Incidentally, my claim to fame is hitchhiking across the United States in the 80s and stepped foot in every state in continental US. Harris County Texas always scares me because it seemed them and now they have such a large murder rate. I fell in love with Alanta, Georgia out of all the places I've been though I settled in San Diego eventually... I hate California....
Noel, a BIG welcome to you and your family to the states.
Expat from UK🇬🇧🇺🇸 left 40 years .left the US 4 years ago now lives in Colombia..

Congratulations to you and your family and welcome to the United States of America. We love you and are happy to have you on this side of the pond. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in your new home. 🌲🎁
Thank you so much!!

My sister, brother in law and two of their kids along with 3 cats moved from Iowa to Amsterdam a few years ago. I couldn’t even imagine. I’ve moved 24 times in my life between CA, IA, NV and now we’re in OR. Selling a house, buying a house and moving is so damn stressful. I’m glad you made it safely. Welcome to the US.
I love Iowa, Go Hawks
@Henry Lister Kent is an amazing picturesque part of England. I'm glad you're enjoying your time here. I in the UK up in Lanashire near Preston. I love it here too, but still miss IA
Crazy to want to move here. Leaving universal healthcare is one of the hardest things that my wife had to do when she came here. She eventually moved back. She couldn't handle a politics our guns our violence are racism or homophobia are anti-Semitics. I hated to see her go but I actually understood, after visiting other countries and seeing what they were like and how those people got along and then coming back here and having to deal with the crazy mess we have. No, I didn't move there only cuz I hate cold wet weather.
@@TheLifetraveler1 my man.. I’m from England so forgive me if I’m mistaken but you have insurance for healthcare no? I’m sure Joel can afford that and will have taken it into account.
And you let your wife move away while you stayed because you don’t like the WEATHER? My brother I think she’s dodged a bullet if I’m honest
I haven't moved once!!
Former Menzies cargo handler here, 19 bags is nothing! Cheers to Noel and his wonderful family on their new adventure!
Half an AKE/LD3 in my experience.
Former pax service here. I miss working at Menzies sometimes.
why would you subject yourself to Menzies?
@@itheseacow7590 Lol. Needed the job at the time. Besides hard work builds character, so they say! Regards to all who replied.
Current Menzies baggage handler here. There are people who go on holiday for a week with 30+ kg of luggage. My contempt for such people knows no bounds.
Hey Noel,
I moved along with my parents a several times from Australia to Germany as a kid. I can assure you that your kids will do fine.
My wish for you is one for your kids.
May they feel as british as well as american and may they always carry the best of both nations inwardly.
And to you and your wife
Welldone, you made your dreams come true.🎉
BR Dirk (German Aussie)
can argue the opposite way as we live in such a globalised world where everyone wants to move somewhere else. I was moved to Australia as a toddler and sure I feel just as australian but I'm less recognised as australian too as Australia's population and everywhere else really is becoming less and less of ppl born and/or raised. You can argue the 2nd generation identity was special 20 years ago but now it's not special at all. majority of people in australia will soon be foreign born, half are already foreign born or have 1 parent born overseas.
Again, welcome to the states Just watching this almost a year later. Love the content.
Noel, congratulations and welcome to the U.S.A.! Getting legal permanent residency for all of you is a testament to your tenacity and commitment to living here in the states. Its not an easy process by any means and some would say quite daunting. Enjoy your time and endless opportunities here. Cheers!
Here in the UK all you have to do is pay a people smuggler.
@@phillipecook3227 very true lol
Idk why he'd want to live in America lmfao, Canada is probably way better, and Australia.
@@Kyxul you’re not wrong but it’s also his choice
Well, and almost impossible. Even what Noel did was sort of stretching limits and just a loophole really.
Hope you’re all lovely and settled now in America! We moved from the UK to Malaysia when I was 5 and my sister was 8 weeks old. My dad had to fly over early so my poor mum was left alone with me and my sister and I can still remember pushing a trolley full of bags as my mum pushed a pushchair and pulled bags (the old school suitcases that had 2 wheels in one corner) and not one person stopped to help! This was the early 90’s so no security really which helped. We got 4 free flights back to the Uk for trips a year so I became very apt at juggling bags to help my mum with my sister. Also when you could go into the cockpit and BA did a passport for my teddy, who got through a few, flew with them and Malaysia airlines (lived in a remote corner of the NE of the country so had to fly from KL) that I knew lots of the pilots of air stewards. It’s what gave me my love of flying and airlines!
Why you guys shifted from UK to Malaysia as your currency is more suitable than this
How is it the general public's fault (not one person stopped to help!) that you failed to plan properly? What a great strategy turn up completely unprepared and expect everyone else to push your bags for you 🤣
How was it that “she” failed to plan properly at 5 years of age? I think your comment is rude and out of line!
@@malikisdon what a weird question. There's a lot of people moving from UK to other places with different currency values e.g China, Thailand. There's quite a lot of work opportunities there.
@Lee Ki Woo yes I understand there are opportunities. But if u move out from UK. For example from UK to Malaysia 🇲🇾. Than obviously you'll earn less than UK. Because the value of UK currency is higher then Malaysian currency
Welcome to the US! Houston isn't my cup of tea (I'm often there for work), but it does offer some neat areas to visit. Like you said Bush International is a nice hub to fly in/out of. When I moved from Germany to Arizona, we used Send My Bags service to ship extra items. A wonderful service and easy.
I hear ya. I've lived in the Houston area for nearly five years and I don't like it here at all. There are much better cities out there. At least Houston has some great restaurants...so I guess there's that.
A city is what you make of it. If you find negativity then that’s what you’ll get. And I highly doubt you’ve been completely all around every part of Houston
No its not what you make of it!Houston is very bad!Of all the places he could go,he went to Houston! This is realy depressing!
@@brunoheggli2888To YOU. And tbh your opinion is trash. Every place has issues and Houston is no different. I doubt you’ve even been around the whole Houston area to give a legitimate opinion

All the best in your new lifes adventure Noel. Waiting to hear the American accent to start to come through.
Be carful of the southern accent as that could really be a funny video

Well, young man good luck in your new home and stay safe, I to was an immigrant to the USA in 1961, But a long story short I am now back in Scotland, We all end up where we really want to be in this world.
All the best to you and family Noel!
Thank you so much for not leaving your beautiful dog behind. She looks like a (mostly Greyhound) Lurcher. I had a magnificent Lurcher boy called Brochan (Greyhound x Collie) and a stunning Greyhound girl called Neeva. Both have sadly passed, but I now have a Greyhound girl called Breagha (which is Scottish Gaelic for beautiful).
The only airport security I've experienced that was worse than Manchester was in India. When I was in Manchester they were pulling most bags for secondary screening... it felt like they were desperately trying to hit a quota for found items or something. With me they were so proud when they thought they'd found something, then so deflated when I pointed out it was just earphones in the drawstring bag they were supplied with. They didn't even check, they knew the moment I said it and just handed my bag back to me with a sullen look.
The quota isn't for found items, the quota is literally the bags themselves. They easily know what's in the bags from the x-ray but will use things like small electrical items as a "reason" the bag has been pulled for search.
@@furiousgriz A passenger travelling on their own will be more likely to get a check. Security don't want to stop a family with kids aged 2 to 5 yrs in case one of the little darlings decides to have a tantrum🤣🤣
I went on holiday in October and I got through in 4 minutes
"The only airport security I've experienced that was worse than Manchester was in India."
India's airport security isn't bad once you learn the system. I've been there enough times that I got the process figured out, and it goes pretty smoothly now.
One thing I learned about Indian airports that is unrelated to security is to always keep your travel documents handy. It seems that every few steps someone needs to check them!
@@brentsummers7377 that’s not true. We usually travel with 3 children and they regularly push our bags away. Last time they even made an alleged security incident and pulled us back from Boots!!
Welcome to the U.S.A., Noel! Hope you and your family quickly feel right at home here.
Thank you!!
Congrats Noel, welcome to the US! So happy to see the future of the channel!
What a great video Noel. It's really lovely to see how you care and love your family and I wish you all the best of luck on jour new life in the USA. Thumbs up!
When I moved from Australia to the USA and back again a few years later, it took 4 months each way to be reunited with the items in the container. But its like Christmas when the container arrives and you get to unpack the boxes.
Why did you move back to Australia
@@jamesgarrison6430 Mine to know, yours to find out.
@Tim Collins damn how did u survive 4 months without your stuff??
@@jamesgarrison6430 I enjoyed my time in South Louisiana but it was for a finite time for work. I could have applied to stay longer, it was a hard decision but Australia is home for me.

The loo reviews are pointless.
God bless you and all your family. I too am a Brit who moved to the USA in 2000 (no kids, just me and my new American wife) and I know what a HUGE deal it is. I hope you and your kids continue to settle well in TX, and that both your channels do better than you ever hoped for.
Congratulations, Noel! I have had a similar dream/pull my entire life about moving to a different country. I think this video has inspired me to rethink moving my family and pursuing that dream. Life is to short to ask “what if” at the end. Sometimes you need to go close your eyes, jump, and spread your wings. Congratulations again to you and your family.
I wish you and your family all the best in Texas and your journey moving forward.
Wow, Texas, U.S.A. Quite a change.
Noel, My mom and I are thinking about moving to Houston, TX. I’ve been thinking about doing what you do for a career. Maybe, we’ll meet. Best of luck to you and your family! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
G,Stevens, you mean that in a sarcastical way right?
Man, I made a move like that about 20 years ago. In hindsight, I would have sold everything and bought new stuff on arrival.
I think my brother and SIL will do that when they move from Honolulu.
Interesting....
Welcome to the USA!! This was an excellent video. Could feel all the emotions and also loved Sam's review. You have always been one of my favorite RUclipsrs as you are so genuine.
Thank you so much!!
Congrats on the move! And welcome to the US! We may be a different type of folk that you are used to but we are glad you are here!
Welcome! We did the same thing 22 years ago -- and we turned up at Gatwick with seven extra bags, and the checkin agent said "I can't be bothered to charge you for those bags. By the way, you've been upgraded to Upper Class." And then we had to upgrade our rental car because we literally couldn't fit our bags in! Ah, memories...
Oh, and if I'm looking at flightradar24 correctly, you managed to get your compensation -- they made up precisely no time!
Good luck mate.....we just travelled with 5 bags, 4 carry on's and stroller from London-Doha- Capetown........can't even imagine with 19 bags
Noel you have some real serious guts! Such an inspiration! I am so happy for you all. Congratulations on achieving your collective dream. Looking forward to following your beautiful journey through for years to come. Much love from South Africa!
I remember travelling through T2 at Manchester on the 14th October, as you were departing! Saw the Sinagpore 350 taxi past the terminal, only to be surprised it came back not long after! Glad you're all happy and safe in the USA!!
I have watched your channel for quite some time and absolutely enjoyed every minute of your videos, and checking in 19 bags is certainly an icing on the cake as far as travels are concerned - I wish you the best in your future life in the States. I hope you get to make the most out of it, including seeing some intergalactical spaceport action as well as the Gulf Coast.
Funnily enough, it's the same flight that Noel took a few years ago to go to Texas for steak before coming back to the UK which makes this video all the more interesting.
Congratulations on the move Noel! I moved from the UK to the States 16 years ago. It certainly took some adjustment at first, you really get stiffed on work-life balance here, but I wouldn't go back now. In fact, I am thinking of bringing my mum here for her retirement in a few years.
I know this video must have been a massive endeavor to create and edit but I want to say I thoroughly enjoyed it! Seeing your family's trek from the UK to the US was inspiring and thank you for your explanation of why you moved, it made perfect sense (although I do miss you flying over the english countryside) and I can't wait to see all of your new adventures in both channels coming up in the new year! Awesome video Noel, the trials and tribulations of moving. It reminded me of our move from Poole to Nottingham in 2018, we thought we'd got everything in the removal van but found ourselves with 4 rucksacks, 3 cases and one dog for a train trip on a Sunday (we're in our 60s as well).
