Easy CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE

- Today I'm sharing with you a very simple pound cake recipe. I love making delicious meals from scratch and sharing the recipes with you. I sincerely hope you enjoy this cake. Remember, it doesn't need to be perfect, just delicious!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
3 sticks unsalted butter ~ room temperature
1 8oz pkg. cream cheese
3 cups morena sugar
6 eggs ~ room temperature
2 Tbs. vanilla extract
3 cups unbleached flour ~ sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Follow the video demonstration to combine ingredients.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean.
Simple Icing
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tbs. milk
mix together & drizzle over cake.
The only thing I wouldn't do is to turn the cake over. I love the bundt side. To me, it just looks so pretty❤ Much love Ms Marie.🙏🏽

Today is my second time trying this recipe. First time in June it came out wonderful and it is in the oven now and I hope it comes out just as good. First of all this was the FIRST TIME I had ever tried to cook or bake anything. The reason I wanted to try it is because it was also my late mother's recipe and she used to make it for my birthday. She has been gone for 16 years and this year I wanted to taste this cake again. Found this video on you tube and what a GREAT help it was to me making it the first time and today! YOU are wonderful and I just followed you all through the video. Very easy to follow and I love your humor. Thank you so much for posting this and for helping a NON baker and cook to make this delicious pound cake!!!

Along with many others, this was in my recommendations...didn't know Mrs H had another channel. A year or so ago, I came across your old video on farina bread (which I never heard of), and have been making it ever since. Growing up with my grandma, we didn't have a stand mixer, she used her hands or her hand mixer if she remembered. I poured the ingredients while she mixed. This was her way of showing me how to patiently blend everything.

Hi I used to know how to make this cream cheese pound cake back in the late '80s my big sister showed me how to make it and my kids love it all the smell of this cake is wow and years went by of me not making the cake so I forgot how to make it and I always wanted to know how do you make the cream cheese pound cake I want to make for my grandkids but my sister that showed me she has passed on so I'm looking at the RUclips and I see the lady baking a cream cheese pound cake so I'm going to get all the ingredients and I'm going to bake the cream cheese pound cake it's in my life again and it never will leave okay thank you Miss miss cooking lady for bringing the cream cheese pound cake back into my life 😂💖

When measuring Dry ingredients you use CUPS. When measuring LIQUIDS you use a liquid measuring cup.

I never seen you do nothing other than canning or outside. I enjoyed watching you make this cake. I use to buy baker's joy, but I make my own cake release. 1 cup of oil, 1 cup of Crisco, and 1 cup of flour. Mix very well. There you go. Thank you for sharing.

Glad this showed up in my recommendations because I did not know you had another channel. Also didn't know your name was Marie, always been Mrs Homestead Heart, Mrs Hart or HH, LOL. I see that you started the channel about 8 months ago. And went and watched your opening video. But I see that the growing season probably didn't leave you much time to make content for your channel. So glad you got it going, to waiting to see some of those videos of your family recipes.
