Jokes aside; this game is shit. Just last night when I was logging into single player just to play in an invite only session, I got a random notification saying, “ballstortured has survived a bounty of $666 you placed on them.” I have a screenshot of it.
I know for certain I absolutely did not put any bounty on players because I don’t wanna play public sessions because of f***ing degenerate modders with no family or girlfriend to f*** with me to no avail.
I now always play in private sessions with a firewall rule set up. But this is also an issue; now I have to disable said firewall rule just to join even a private session by myself and disable it also to start a auto shop contact mission.
This basically puts me at a high risk of someone out there wanting to harass me nonstop.
It’s bullshit, unfair, and Rockstar won’t do dog shit. What’s the point of reporting them if Rockstar won’t do anything about it?

I’m pretty sure the games code is held together with string since it’s 10 years old. I don’t have any hope these can get fixed, we just need to hope GTA 6 is held together better lol
Giving how the current game is being runned and going down hill (Heck I only play every once in a while and even I can see the terrible state its in), I can't have hope that the next GTA will be all that great as it will still be operated by the same people that are shoving the current one further into the ground. It's like going into a New Year. Entering the new era with same people.

If they won't rush GTA VI then we shouldn't have any problems for single player. But the GTA VI Online aspect will be an entirely different story since there are few other problems that Take Two might be planning with this game.

The contracts have been a blast to playthrough, but the amount of bugs and glitches is INSANE. Cops noclipping through walls and not showing up on radar, noose spawning on you and instantly killing you, noose being able to shoot 1 million bullets per second, the list goes on. I hope R* fixes these bugs, but they probably won't.
Same the other bad things about the auto shop contracts are listening to horny man

I'm no programmer, but it actually makes sense that the game gets buggier as more stuff is added. There's a host of examples I could give of adding more to something makes it more prone to issues/less stable.
The problem with GTA Online I imagine is that Rockstar neglected upkeep to prevent these issues for so long, that now it's reached a near unfixable point. If they had fixed the problems when they first presented themselves, it wouldn't have been a big deal. But now, there's so many systems intertwined with each other that have been added throughout the years that the code is likely just spaghetti, and a lot more fragile than we realize. Maybe adding extra security could tip the game over the edge, then again maybe not given RDR2 is not nearly as complex and still suffers from the same kind of security issues as I understand. I also wouldn't put laziness and greed past Rockstar, they're definitely one of the worst gaming companies out there right now, I could just see there being other factors than pure laziness and greed.
Might be different for game development, but rn I work as a programmer in web development and we have to future-proof the shit out of our code
It makes sense in case developers do not take a single fuck in testing their shit before releasing it. Aka, Rockstar simply do not care if it's broken or working proper upon release
bro if you’ve ever paid attention to dupes, money glitches and merges, unless it’s all that’s keeping people playing they’re on that shit so fast some days u wouldn’t believe it. i’ve heard many people swear they’ve even come across R* spies in game while doing dupes or merges. i think R* is just still the same company that decided 1 mil gta = 10 USD. to this day unless u have help or glitches it’s very difficult to make over a mil an hour making gtao an underpaying job. all they care about is money and wasting every last drop of your time that they can(hopefully because gta6 will be amazing). this is exactly how they THINK they keep people playing, just think about that and think about the drip feed update system. it’s just scary to see how fast they ban people, wipe accounts, and micro manage the gta economy while barely addressing 1-3 godmode glitches a year and doing absolutely nothing else.
I work as part of the management team for an app development company. This only happens if you didn't test your product properly or didn't fix those issues (but really fix them, not just put something over them) in time. So it does make sense that the product becomes more complex but you shouldn't be having more problems

At this point, they're not likely to fix too much. A lot of the vulnerabilities are due to fundamental oversights in its design. At this point it'll be more work than it's worth with GTA6 right around the corner and a new GTAO coming with it. Hopefully, they did learn some lessons and will have a better infrastructure for the next one...

Thing is the worst modders can go out of their way to ddos you, to put it into perspective, as a modder myself (I'm not one of those a-hole modders that ruin everything), we can see the following: Name, RID, IP, ISP, City, County, Country and more things, it's literally safer to trust a mafia made man than play this damn game since at least only one will leak your information to whoever pays less than the game costs.

I feel the saddest part of modern gaming is that there is so much potential in each of the games we choose to play but it is never truly capitalised on and is instead just squandered. Imagine having a game that people have wanted to play for ten years and instead of embracing that and running with it rockstar have mistreated it
I hate whenever i’m playing, and i’m trying to heal up and use the snacks through the weapon while, it’ll pull up my phone or have my player come out of cover and get shot up. It happens everytime, when my health is low and flashing, and i try to heal up, just gets up and gets killed. Fucking hate this game some times
We just need GTA 6.
This game still uses 2013 netcode which leads to the abundance of godmode glitches, black screen issues, and much more. Many of these glitches can't be patched without making a brand new game, and the engine and netcode for this game isn't going to be overhauled this late into the life cycle.

@@FayDSeafish It's a bitter sweet feeling that so many other people have lost hope in Rockstars future titles. I'm happy people are grounded enough to see that corruption and greed in Rockstar and T2 are here to stay, but sad that we're watching the slow death of such a beloved franchise. Nothing will change unless people stop buying and playing the games, that's why I quit GTAO and refuse to purchase the same game for a third console generation.
The fact that you showed the review of people having so many problems about their gaming experience in GTA online is absolutely surprising for me
My biggest gripe, by far, is the reporting system being especially useless on PC version. It's mind boggling that cheaters can intercept and destroy reports filed against them with mod menus. Even so, at least a few people still adamantly deny having god mode or some other cheat if you call out their obvious cheating, to the point where these same rats try to gaslight you. The feeling of helplessness against all the blatant cheaters and exploiters is immeasurable.
I stopped playing in public lobbies mainly for this reason. However, when I still played in public lobbies, I would start recording if someone was modding or cheating, and attacking players in the server or doing something similar. I found it rather amusing when someone who was obviously in godmode(and denied being in godmode) realized that I both knew they were in godmode, and had video evidence of them being in godmode.
Yet a guy throws modded money at you once, and you get punished, not the modder
I grew up with rockstar playing san andreas, liberty city and gta iv for hundreds of hours, it’s been like 10 years and they’re still milking gta 5. I just want this nightmare to end, i can’t believe they abandoned my sweet baby boy rdo for this😭
Since the game has to intentionally put you in god mode for loading screens or inside properties, there should definitely be a flag in the game that says "if X player is not close to where the godmode is triggered" it should be turned off by default
The game is probably so terribly coded that your solution, as reasonable as it is, isn't possible without a huge code rewrite

Actually games getting more buggy and broken is quite common once they get near a decade old, and have consistently added new stuff. This phenomenon is typically called "spaghetti code". There are plenty of older MMO's out there that have experienced this.
That’s why whenever I see another gaming community talk about lack of communication or devs not listening or fixing issues I always tell them try being a rockstar games/ gta online player. Compared to rockstar those devs are speedy when it comes to fixes. Im convinced rockstar literally has nobody working in the security team or someone who is inexperienced. If these issues are never fixed. Also rockstar needs to get out of this mindset of doing patches and fixes once every 6 months or until a next major update. Many issues in the game can’t be allowed to be in the game for so long and it just makes the game borderline unplayable for the time being. Something needs to happen to rockstar legally for them to get off their ass to do something about the game and improve to modern gaming standards
Agreed. There was an issue in the new MW update today and they already announced they are working on a fix. That would NEVER happen for any bug in GTA Online

I think today the most common problem in gta online is the hackers. There are way to many hackers in a single lobby today. All using God mode, all griefing their KD and Rockstar can't ban them for anything
nearly a year and a half since drug wars, and the input bug is still not fixed, Rockstar is sucking themselves off over these bugs and glitches...

The data protocol that was implemented stops modder stalkers from force-joining your invite only and closed friend session, but while you are in freemode.
Crew sessions are still breachable since crew spoofing is still possible globally (you can see modder change the crew tag immediately and it’s visible to you unlike the name, the Rockstar ID and the IP address which only the modder can see those three nowadays.
And what they didn’t fix is modders force-joining you during jobs (I mean any job). It doesn’t matter which type of session you are hosting the job from, modders can still force join you in heists, heist setups, contact missions, races, adversary modes, you name it.
Pleasse stop calling cheaters "modders", this insults the actual modding community.

I can't play with my friends much cause everytime we try to join each other in an invite only or a public session, after about 5 seconds it says the session timed out. Like wtf?
I have 4k hours in this game and I have gotten sick of it and completely moved on from it
And everytime I come back I just get more disappointed from it but what do I expect from rockstar.
All the bugs and glitches are awful, always have been and always will be. The controller input glitch is the worst. It happens to me dozens and dozens of times per day. It is unplayable.

What annoys me the most is the glitch where u lose all control of the game and can’t play and are forced to restart, I play solo in private lobbies and I’m aware that eventually in this session I’ll lose control💀
Mine is stupid shit like getting my car stuck in the stupidest places, the sluggish movement. Being stuck in the clouds. Having to go back to single player to change your aim type.

That invite session bug has been happening to me for several months now, when I get an invite from a friend I always ask if it's a friends session or invite only session. Some know by now tho that they need to make a friends session to get me to join.
Seen a lot more issues than there used to be. Game won't save my settings, load into Story even though I choose Online. All my cameras are reset, and every time I load (not just login, but l load from mission) it tells me I did all Heists and can now call Lester. Some of the Acid Van missions are bugged, if you grab the supplies before bumping into them to register 'supplies' you can never return them.
Can’t forget to mention the interaction menu bug and securoserv bug where 1: the CEO and mc tabs won’t even pop up. And 2: the CEO menu will be grayed out because it is “currently unavailable”
they take longer to pop up on next gen rather than last gen. it's so irritating
@@statticxx yes they do but sometimes they won’t even pop up at all and I have to close and reopen my interaction menu like 5 times before they pop up again
Instead of complaining and waiting for Rockstar to someday fix the game, best solution is to stop playing the game. Play a better game.

I haven't experienced any of the glitches that you mentioned, but I have experienced this one where I die while in a loading screen
just got the input bug at the end of the contract mission with the low rider. after that tried to start the casino heist and got kicked twice trying to start it. after find someone to do it with they left after dying once.
From how genuinely mad this man sounds, I can imagine a company like Konami or EA looking at Rockstar saying, "Damn, we know we're bad, but, damn".
I just got bored of the game and felt everything was repeating itself.
I GET CONTROLLER BUG EVERY SINGLE DAY. ALSO THIS WEEK ESPECIALLY IVE BEEN HAVING TO AT LEAST RESTART MY CONTROLLER CONSTANTLY. XBOX SERIES S. Thank you Ghillie for bringing more awareness to this. This game is literally floating facedown in the water rn. Also, I play GTA for the missions and co operative play. I should be able to go into public lobbies and at least travel to one business without getting blown up. Not having PvE only lobbies is RIDICULOUS. Not having some sort of SBMM for missions is RIDICULOUS. And PC public lobbies are literally just unplayable garbage; that’s where I started GTA online. Never again.

idk if you have heard but modders on pc can now interfere with your headset and start a airraid/ringtone like sound effect. Idk what it does but ive just been doing alt f4. But basicly a modder can start a extremely annoying sound effect and it never goes away. The only way to stop it is to either leave the session or quit the game. Idk if this has been happending for a long time but its only started happing for the last month for me.

I'm on PS5/PS4 so we don't have the disconnect after message error bug thankfully. Tryhards, Orb warriors (trash), and Booters are however a thing and probably always will be. We solve this problem by #1. Doing most to all business work etc in Invite only or Friends only lobbies now that that is an option thankfully. That takes cate of tryhards and orb warriors. #2. I personally use Express VPN with a compatible Router and I am literally un-bootable. I even had one of my friends who knows how to boot try and boot me and he could not 😁
GTA Online as we all know is not safe to play without a VPN sadly...
We mostly just do hsrmless glitches like merging Benny and F1 wheels/modded paint jobs etc onto vehicles that are not supposed to have them. This harms Noone and does not in any way give the user of said modded vehicle any advantage over another player...
We might dupe a few cars here and there but you know what who honestly really cares and it's kind of our way of giving the middle finger to Rockstar and Take Two for being greedy bastards and only focusing on monetary gains I stead of player experience. It's a joke at this point so yeah we break the game.

A company with over 2,000 employees and literally billions in net worth, and dumping millions of dollars into upkeep and updates, are being beaten by people out of their house on a 5 year old computer. How is rockstar, a company currently valued at $5 Billion, being beaten so easily and so quickly by so many people using lesser hardware?
My forbidden text to my crew members: "Kick MP3. They'll inv more" no bs. The game is def at it's worst point. But it's Rockstars own fault. GTAVO should have been faded out long ago, new gens and GTA6 should have launched together. Another triple a game shot to sh*t by greed.

Another problem is the game invitations, let's see, I'm going to be quite clear, I know that playing heists with random players is a headache, but even so, seeing the positive side, it's fun to play with them, no matter how stupid they sound. And I've been waiting for the auto invite to be fixed since the middle of last year, for those who don't know what I mean, no player is notified when starting a heist, race, mission, etc. of course I can depend on matchmaking but that's a joke, hardly a player joins the gta online matchmaking system is really stupid and that's why I prefer the automatic invitation I've been around since April 2022 to be exact and they never fixed it
Sad thing is when I mentioned this during the DLC drop last year no GTA RUclipsr said anything about it, very little was said about it on Reddit and GTA forums, almost like nobody cared anymore about jobs just the DLC.
On the last dose missions tomorrow am I going to have to update the game or is it already going to be there ?
The controller freeze thing reminds me of a bug that has been on PS4 for quite a long time. Dunno if anyone else has encountered it, but on PS4 if you have more than one account logged in and after a period of time GTA stops registering any controllers as connected. Dunno if it does it with wired controllers or not though....I also don't know if its still an issue as I have just been avoiding have multiple accounts logged in to avoid that happening.

Music to my ears GhillieMaster. I only play this game to hunt griefers these days, but I can barely do that anymore because of the avalanche of hackers and modders. God help me that i'm on PC as well

As a modder, I pay you my respects, If there's a griefer in the lobby I'll just crash them or ignite their vechiles engine to blow it up, Doesn't help more than 75% of griefers are modders but hey at least I kick them out of the lobby and do something about them unlike r*, they literally made a report for griefing and they added a flying bike with lock-on missiles almost as aggressive as ruiner missiles, made a pop-up to encourage players to grief any form of cargo there is, which attracts low players to do such (it has happened to me before I started modding), I mean hell Expanded and Enhanced online literally showed A jet being blown up (By C4, the deluxos didn't even fire.) and deluxos flying by, all of which have a big history in griefing sadly. Might as well expect an entire update dedicated to griefers. "Los Santos Advanced Technology" or smth.
I got to use my mobile hotspot just to boot up gta for some reason if I connect my home internet it says the servers are down it’s been like this for over a month

I ended up quitting GTA with everything going on every lobby had godmode, everything was so damn expensive and good ways to make money was always getting nerfed, and constant griefers.
As long as the problems, bugs, glitches and so on are not related to giving the player more money, nothing will happen.
I experienced all of these glitches and my friend went afk at the main menu and the screen was glitching and flashing and when he got back from eating he had the main menu screen burned into his $1000 4k 120hrz tv. His fault but damn that sucks.
GTA Online is a problem in itself. The invite to a private session problem has existed since *day fucking one* I stopped playing years ago, after doomsday and never came back

Its a 10+ year old game... Rockstar doesnt owe you updates for the sake of funding your career choice. Everyone else should just play something different. No game is going to have infinite content.

For me the ingame text chat doesn't work anymore, i can send and others can receive but i don'T get ANY messages, no matter if public or organization chat, i have no clue what to do, checked all settings, googled, tried reinstalling, nothing works.
Updates are always been new content related because of shark cards and very rarely about quality of life or bug fixing patches, it has been 10 years and it is a crowning achievement for Rockstar keeping such a buggy and slow mess at peak for years

Me and my friend yesterday were playing the Drug Wars last dose missions and my friend was telling me that a car was glitching in the background while inside a wall when seeing Dr. Friedlander come out the garage door and also having that same issue where getting invites from friends don't work.
Is anyone else getting a glitch where after you complete a fooligan mission then enter the acid lab the game puts you in an infinite loading screen? I had this happen to me almost every time I play online another glitch I got was whenever I try to join my friends in friends only session but the game tells me that I'm not friends with that player.
yesterday I had to DELETE my second character because every time I loaded in, it loaded into my second character and then I go to switch into my main character it loaded into my auto shop but the only problem is I DONT LOAD IN so I just sit there and watch the outside of my auto shop because it always loads me into a public server so I had to load into my second character delete it and then I could load into my main character in an invite only server.
Yeah its crazy how 10 years on gta still has gamebreaking bugs i still experience the control loss bug to this day and the entrance bug where you cant enter the auto shop acid lab and agency at random
It's been about a year since me and my friend started having connection issues. He can join my lobbies but anytime I try to join his it tells me I failed to connect.
on PC when i launch the game i also start up Resource Monitor, when i join a session, 1st thing i do is Right Click GTA V, click Suspend Process, wait a few sec, & resume process, & im in public lobby alone from all the game crashers, godmode, teleport session into penthouse, entire session endless kill loop, chat spam, character freeze, you name it, its all gone with Resource Monitor. Now i can organize my garage
On PC, we've had this issue now for over half a year where your chat just randomly won't show up on the other players' screens. From around mid Drug Wars to SA Mercenaries, it was limited to just "your chat connection with these random people in particular is just cursed", to after said update being completely sporadic; you never know if your friend or whoever else is going to recieve your chats or not. We shouldn't have to make separate discord servers or constantly have our phones up (for those of us without second monitors) just to be able to communicate while playing
And the funny part about this is… People complain about how new games are unfinished and are in a buggy state (i.e. Battlefield 2042, MWII, and No Man’s Sky), but they don’t realize how they’ve been slowly improving and getting better with the bug patches and content (especially No Man’s Sky), and now they’re amazing games, while on the other hand, GTA Online is still bugged to hell (especially on Last Gen), and it gets constantly worse with every update/patch Rockstar releases… What Rockstar should do on their next DLC is do a Big Haul Update, which brings all the constructed buildings to life (especially Mile High Club), cars and game modes from the modding community, and just QOL updates to make the game feel better… But knowing how Rockstar is, I highly doubt this will happen. I’ve lost so much respect from Rockstar, they are just as bad as EA, and the fact that they don’t have to try with this game is just… baffling to me.

- Precision Rifle literally should’ve been Sniper Rifle Mk. II, or removed from the game, but no… Rockstar decided to make it a standalone weapon with no available attachments, 4-shot kill with a pitifully slow fire rate, and same lock-on range as Musket
- Horrible AI that can laser beam you while blind firing from stupidly long ranges
- Bad mission design
- Explosive Spamming
- Fake High K/D Ratios

I can’t believe they canceled Red Dead Online for this piece of garbage, and Red Dead Online literally could’ve made them more money than GTA Online if they kept adding more content to the game, like a Bank Robbery update, or Houses, and if cool clothing wasn’t locked behind Outlaw Passes… But of course, Rockstar beat around the bushes and ruined it for the community… I am so disappointed in Rockstar for this move.
You're expecting R* to do all of that when they can just drop another random update that changes, fixes and adds literally nothing new of content to the game instead. Seriously, a team of modders was able to complete the Mile High Club before R* did and knowing things, R* is just gonna take their stuff down, then never add the Mile High Club anyways, expecting even the bare minimum work from R* is pointless now since they're just gonna look for more story mode DLC to recycle.

My buddy and me play GTAO almost exclusively by ourselves on closed sessions as we have no interest in pvp. Trying to be on the same session is complicated, playing missions together is really difficult, and staying together on the same lobby after a mission is just plain impossible, we get randomly thrown somewhere else.
WHY THE FFFFFKKK IS THERE A CLOSED FRIENDS SESSION ONLY IF AFTER EACH DAMN MISSION WE GET THROWN WITH OTHER PLAYERS AND WE HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN!????

The only thing I know about the Report System is that sometimes when you're reported, you'll get a message at the bottom of your screen saying something like "we have received one or multiple reports of against you for cheating and are now recording your further gameplay" or something like that. ( only reason I know is because I got a long range snipe on a greifer getting into his jet on the beach and got an immediate report, couldn't tell you if it works or not since I wasn't banned or anything)
It doesn't do anything, it's just a message. Coming from someone who has had this many times lol
Should point out if you're a modder you can just outright block reports, reports probably never did anything anyways but now they're extra useless, even free mod menus block reports like the Modest menu, might as well remove reporting entirely which I wouldn't be surprised if they did do that at some point.

Here’s something I’ve been experiencing: for some reason my MC Businesses have been getting raided like crazy. Now they get raided after I become an MC President for 5 seconds. I once delivered a Bike to a customer and didn’t even have time to put the cash in the bank before I got raided and once I was delivering bar supplies and once I’m done the game says that I “failed to save my staff” and it’s only the MC businesses bc my Special Cargo Warehouses and Bunker have only been raided once since this started like late February and I have security on all of the businesses that can have that upgrade. This all started when I did the Data breaches finale for the Doomsday heist and right after I got raided 5 times back to back. They raided my Meth lab my Weed farm my Cash factory and my Coke lockup and then my Nightclub. Now at the time I didn’t have a Document Forgery but if I didn’t that would have been raided too. And it sucks bc I need to become an Mac President during my free mode grinding routine I made but now it’s not worth it anymore. Has anyone else experienced this is problem or is it just me
It’s so bad I can’t even load into gta online it keeps saying can’t retrieve your profile rocker star cloud. I tried it on a account I never played gta on it’s said the same thing
And if it was glitches that gave players money it would be fixed faster than the glitches were discovered and/or the players doing the glitches would be rebooted (back to level 1) or banned.
Not true, I know about 3 different money glitches, one being solo that I’ve used forever and nothing has changed. There are so many yt videos on it too.
To be honest when comparing the leap from GTA 5 to Xbox One from the 360 the differences are night and day, but when comparing that leap to GTA 5 expanded and enhanced but not really edition, its really pathetic
Even in the Cato Perico heist it’s almost like they want us not to get the elite challenge due to the infinite come glitch, i just failed earlier on hard mode because the infinite cone glitch happened and somehow a guy with a mini gun blazed me down down in the basement… im pretty sure that not suppose to happen, also don’t even get me started on how you begin the heist in the boat. It sends you straight on land
Just yesterday I had a glitch where I was playing Blackjack and the dealer lifted up and just disappeared. And I was soft locked. I had to completely turn the game off.

At this point I'd rather just be killed and my cargo destroyed on a run, over just randomly getting spawned onto the beach in a forced deathmatch with everyone in the lobby.
The controller input thing happens so much I was playing i timed it and it took around 40-45 minutes to stop the inputs each time and I've just given up with the game
All im going to say is.
You know a game sucks when hacking just to get money is seen as generally acceptable within a community.
I had the controller stop working glitch happen to me a couple times, I thought it was the elite series controller that I just bought being weird, so I returned it thinking that was the problem. Then I heard about the glitch 2 days later....... :/
Every "fix" to a bug/glitch/etc. has the potential to cause extra problems, so the fact that the only thing Rockstar aggressively creates patches against is money glitching, that should tell you all you need to know about that company's priorities.
At this point I'm just convinced Rockstar themselves sell mod menus.
I’m trying to do the dax fried mission but it’s not working
I have an issue that’s been going on for almost 7 months where the game won’t work on my home Wi-Fi but works for a hotspot (just shows Lester saying server is down). I got ahold of rockstar and told them what was going they tested my internet connection and they said we will send this to another department for review. This was 7 months ago and still have not heard anything.

The only way Rockstar will ever address properly godmode or orb spam is by making them believe those glitches somehow gives you free money.
I keep losing connection, just come back to the game, and I lost connection twice in a hour, so I just gave up...
I've had issues with timers being bugged on PS5. Sometimes I can see them count up for a few seconds after they already counted down to zero. For example my cocaine lockup will consume supplies but not produce anything over time, the night club tech assigned to accrue cocaine never does, and customer bikers are never delivered to my MC Club House. Occasionally the timer from starting VIP work will temporarily fix some the issues.
I've fixed the controller input glitch temporarily by clearing my alternate MAC address in the wifi setting, hopefully that works for others. It does come back after a while tho
There is a glitch ever since update 1.66 that won't allow you to go online at all, it just puts you in an infinite loading screen, it happened to me and I just gave up on gta, the game is screwed.
My issue, after a fairly recent patch, I have not been able to connect to online at all. All I get is: "Files could not be downloaded from Rockstar servers." Granted, I don't have the best network (LTE/hotspot), but I could get into invite only servers and play with friends no problem. Even play races with Full lobbies etc... I only want to enjoy the businesses and new vehicles. After months of being able to play on LTE, now it won't even try.
For new-gen GTA, sometimes users experience the servers are down, but the status for the service is up.
