I wonder if the designers aren’t allowed to make a vehicle more powerful than the buzzard unless R* said so. R* ultimately makes the decision on what is good and what isn’t most won’t be good so that good things are scarce and overpriced. I’m expecting R* to remove or nerf all of the remaining good vehicles in the game as to create more scarcity for overpriced op vehicles.
I still haven't played since the newest big update once. I've been playing GTAO since release and I will not play a game that removed features that I have paid for.
Tbh, there is just no reason not to use sparrow for grinding. Spawns even faster than Buzzard did, has countermeasures, fast AF, and you'll have it 100% because no way you'd pass on having the helicopter option for Cayo Perico grind.

For the fact that it has ZERO explosive resistance, the buzzard missiles and very similar handling to the buzzard, this honestly feels like a forgotten relic that would've been more at home in 2016 era GTA. My biggest gripe is that it has the buzzard missiles, but aesthetics would have you believe that you could spam 6-8 before cool down

You know what would be nice? A modified Maverick chopper that has a built in explosive mg from the passenger side with an armored shield plate. I remember watching a play through of Lethal Enforcers and thought it would be neat to see in GTA online.

All of the weaponized op vehicles should of needed teams to operate. Valkyrie is a good example. You can tell they used to care about balancing, but then all that went out the window with the cheat code mk2.

Bre, its easy to complain. But good luck developing something alike gta 5 content yourself. The helicopter is done very well, and has slight improvements over the buzzard. If you know how to take advantage of its speed and altitude gain that is.
As a OG helicopter player from gta4, I was really excited for this. Rockstar just keeps letting me down in decisions that just make you wonder if there really is someone running this company?

The only positive thing about this heli is that there are a few unique liveries, which arent New, but the Conada gets some badges and numbers with some of the liveries. Which isnt present on any other vehicle with gunrunning liveries as far as I know.
let's put it in perspective, with the money you waste on a W Conada you could rather buy: -2 buzzards and still have some money left to spare -Sparrow with basic Kosatka -one of the three, Akula/Savage/Hunter some of these options may seem a bit more expensive at first, but unlike the W Conada, these are valuable investments the W Conada is so terrible is not even worth being a Mk2 upgrade option for the original Conada
It might as well be a downgrade imo. It's weapons are barely a positive, both because they're shit and because in the regular one you can have people in the back with stronger weapons than the weaponized version. And of course the lowered speed.
Wish they would just update the old buzzard with countermeasures and a slight bit tougher, being able to get it from ceo menu is pretty nice. Plus i have used the buzzard since first playing GTA Online so its the OG grind vehicle for me.
im on KBM & the Buzzard is BOMB..the Sparrow is far too twitchy. Molotok..by far my fave jet.. smoooooth & low speed handling/stall resistance is amazing. low speed is needed bc oft in the hangar missions, the ai planes are flying incredibly slow! lol. the new Raiju flies pretty nice & is a surprise, as ive never been able to fly the Hydra well at all.
It amazes me that the company that seems to really like money, doesn’t allow players to own every vehicle in the game all at the same time on 1 character.
Not to mention removing 1/3 of the vehicles from ever being bought unless you're on current gen AND subscribe to a monthly paywall!! All they've done the past couple years is just discourage people from continuing to play!
Had a feeling a rant was coming and deservedly so. This helicopters abilities and performance are just abysmal for that price. I do like that the pilot and co-pilot can fire missiles simultaneously. However, the Hunter does it all better like you said. Personally, I think if at the very least it received countermeasures, guns that at least equal the Buzzard, missiles with the fire rate of the Sparrow, the same performance as the regular Conada and open up the back so 2 more players can fire weapons out the sides like the Savage, it would definitely get a space in my hangar. Also a little extra armor wouldn't hurt. Be stronger than the Buzzard but weaker than the Hunter or Akula.

I truly believe that people that add new vehicles to GTAO have no idea what was added before. That's why balancing is all over the place (same with key bindings. On PC I think there are like 4 different buttons used for rocket boost depending on the vehicle. If not more). The game been out for 10 years, obviously they had many different teams working on the game. But non of them keep a track of what was added before. That's why they added a lamer version of Buzzard for 3mills when you can buy a Hunter for the same price... I always wanted them to add AirWolf (tv show heli with rocket boost and a lot of other futuristic features), but looking at Conada, I can't even imagine how badly they would screw it up.
Also, why do they absolutely REFUSE to give us more storage space for aircraft?? Whether it’s being able to own more than one Hangar, or just expanding the storage in our existing Hangar, it’s ridiculous we still are relegated to our 20 slots.

Their creativity in making weaponized vehicles is always a hit or miss. The Raiju was pretty good and it was just released not long ago. I feel like they could have made another chopper with Savage machine guns but with more features, that would justify the price tag.
Its nice, but in a dog fight a mk2 Sparrow or Avenger can take them down. the trick is to spin faster than they can turn. Its shame the Savage has lackluster armor, its supposed to have titanium armor. be a low flying battlefield gunship transport.
Rockstar be like: to play our game you need to wait 50 minutes to play this game and by leaving a race you have a chance to get into a lobby of god mode and hackers

You would think that the newer the military vehicles we get the better it should be then previous once but with Rock Star logic it is what it is.

I heard about this in another video, and glad I didn’t want to spend my gunrunning sell money on this monstrosity. I always check reviews from gamers of this vehicle and how they feel about it.
People are completely missing the point of this helicopter. Recently bought one and it's just straight up a better Buzzard and won't get shot down by NPC's immediately like the Sparrow. The dual action missile pod when running a duo is fantastic and it can land in tighter places vs the Akula/Hunter. Saying the weaponized Conada is worse than the Buzzard is objectively WRONG.
I can make you a list of vehicles much better for both PvE and PvP, and SOME are much cheaper than the Russian-Reinforced-Cardboard-Armor Conada. Nightshark, Any Imani-Tech Vehicle that gets bullet resistant windows, Toreador, Stromberg, Deluxo, Hunter, Savage, Sparrow, Raiju, Buzzard, Oppressor MkII, Arena War Vehicles, Hell even a non-godmode Speedo Custom can work well for Pvp in some cases. Let us also not forget the MoC cab or the new Avenger which can arguably be better than the Buzzard and Sparrow for attacking players on the ground thanks to it's armor and bullet resistant front window. The Rogue is also a good choice especially for Air-Freight and it still remains a good bomber aircraft if that's what you use it for.
yet again, Rockstar just further confirms that the "San Andreas Mercenaries" update should've actually been named the "F-160 Raiju + disappointment" update 🤦

Another example of their genius planning, when they released the sub instead of letting you park your amphibious aircraft in your watercraft they make a brand new sparrow for you to buy that’s identical in every way but without floats despite it being parked by water, leaving the better one with no use. Honestly my fucking head hurts from this. They’re doing literal mental gymnastics.
I would very much like to hear the internal justification why coaxial pea-shooters is something rockstar keeps adding into the game time and time again. Even in PVE they are both useless and un-fun/un-satisfying to use. 'Gunship' style helicopter weapons like tandem miniguns are supposed to saturate an area with gunfire. It should be like a continuous shotgun effect around a diameter at aimpoint so any infantry standing there would get laced up. They're not supposed be these surgically precise light-saber beams projecting out your front you have to manually aim at each and every dude standing in the open. Strafing NPC in PVE would be fun if it was a bit of spread to these things. Taking a pretty ineffective weapon and make it slower firing so you have to be even more precise to connect and at the same time make it so we deal less damage with it - what's the point? We now have dozens of instances of useless kit in the game that is one value in a textfile away from being something that serves a purpose in the game, it's just such a wasted effort for everyone. Players lose, Rockstar lose (worse product for no reason), devs making the content lose (nobody have fun with what they made and having it there just make them look incompetent at their job). Absolutely nobody wins by having pea-shooters; so why pea-shooters again and again and again? Like I close my eyes and apply all my brainpower to concoct any scenario where this makes any sense and the only thing that comes up is that Rockstar must have a self-aware LSPD patrolcop NPC working as a developer for GTAO who always get's a vote on what weapons to hand players.
Chances are there is no animation to enter the back of the vehicle given the weapon placement. The obvious solution would be to add one but if they could not do that then centering the machine guns underneath the chopper and placing the rocket pods above the doors would have made enough space for animations to work right with passengers in the back.
At 1:50 I busted out laughing, it sounds like a sham wow commercial "Even if you apply armour to your person, your human body, you can't tank a rail gun blast straight to the face!!" And the guy doing the thumbs up while receiving the shot, perfection
I feel like every single time community wants something added they ruin it. Oh you want weaponized Conada so bad, fine we add it.... "Remember, you wanted it", they say and make it pile of garbage. Same goes for cars community wants and they just drop the bag (examples: ZR350 (RX-7 is nice model but cant compete with almost anything), Tailgaiter S ( we give you an Audi, but its a base model A3 with S-line bodykit and it will never be fast nor Quattro. R8 engine in a sedan, that's crazy.), Granger 3600LX (slower than the OG vehicle it should be replacing) etc

I swear to God the people at R* grab some either shitty or good ideas (then make them shit ideas) and quickly work on an ass update and never EVER AT ALL play test anything. They just pray for update to not be full of bugs each time. I don't care about missions being reskinned tbh (I don't care about them at all nowadays) so thats fine but if you're gonna release a fucking weaponized vehicle at least test it in game for a few hours and adjust it accordingly to Online standards and LISTEN TO THE FANS! It would be great if R* not only listened to their fans but also fixed problems and did quality of life updates SOONER rather then YEARS down the line. And finally let RUclipsrs like Ghillie or Nitrix or literally anyone who plays Online play test the vehicles and updates sooner to give you feedback before releasing an update so that you can fix bugs beforehand and make your updates MILLIONS OF TIMES BETTER. aight im out now

It's like rockstar are in capable of good updates, they added the raiju which was a success, then I guess to cancel out all the positive feedback and balance it with greed they removed a bunch of content for purchase, effectively replacing it with garbage like this.
I always thought the conada was missing something and i thought of it: give it rouge E-MG's this would give it an actual leg up over the buzzard, and make it a helicopter that is not to be underestimated against planes.

The only cool thing about the Conada is the name. They cleverly named it “conada”, a jumbled version of the word “coanda”, which comes from the “coanda effect”, which explains how the real life helicopter doesnt need a tail rotor.
Best part was I removed an aircraft from my hanger to make space for that POS helicopter. Apparently the Avenger can fit in the hanger storage now but still can't increase the number of personal aircraft.

I think they should just buff the Valkyrie's armor. It's a vehicle that's ALMOST perfect, all it needs is some explosive resistance and/or flares.

I truly believe that people that add new vehicles to GTAO have no idea what was added before. That's why balancing is all over the place (same with key bindings. On PC I think there are like 4 different buttons used for rocket boost depending on the vehicle. If not more).
The game been out for 10 years, obviously they had many different teams working on the game. But non of them keep a track of what was added before. That's why they added a lamer version of Buzzard for 3mills when you can buy a Hunter for the same price...
I always wanted them to add AirWolf (tv show heli with rocket boost and a lot of other futuristic features), but looking at Conada, I can't even imagine how badly they would screw it up.
What pisses me off is I had to watch four advertisements to view this entire video

Their creativity in making weaponized vehicles is always a hit or miss. The Raiju was pretty good and it was just released not long ago. I feel like they could have made another chopper with Savage machine guns but with more features, that would justify the price tag.
Its nice, but in a dog fight a mk2 Sparrow or Avenger can take them down. the trick is to spin faster than they can turn.
Its shame the Savage has lackluster armor, its supposed to have titanium armor. be a low flying battlefield gunship transport.

Finally an honest review. I was going to review it my self but something told me to wait and then I find this video. Thank you for your honesty this helicopter is overrated asf. You would think that the newer the military vehicles we get the better it should be then previous once but with Rock Star logic it is what it is.

People are completely missing the point of this helicopter. Recently bought one and it's just straight up a better Buzzard and won't get shot down by NPC's immediately like the Sparrow. The dual action missile pod when running a duo is fantastic and it can land in tighter places vs the Akula/Hunter. Saying the weaponized Conada is worse than the Buzzard is objectively WRONG.
Tbf to the conada, it may have been designed for PvE combat instead of PvP, maybe try using it in some missions and see if it’s any good there?
In that regard the Sparrow destroys it. Spammable missiles and can spawn it next to you. On top of being faster.
I can make you a list of vehicles much better for both PvE and PvP, and SOME are much cheaper than the Russian-Reinforced-Cardboard-Armor Conada.
Nightshark, Any Imani-Tech Vehicle that gets bullet resistant windows, Toreador, Stromberg, Deluxo, Hunter, Savage, Sparrow, Raiju, Buzzard, Oppressor MkII, Arena War Vehicles, Hell even a non-godmode Speedo Custom can work well for Pvp in some cases. Let us also not forget the MoC cab or the new Avenger which can arguably be better than the Buzzard and Sparrow for attacking players on the ground thanks to it's armor and bullet resistant front window. The Rogue is also a good choice especially for Air-Freight and it still remains a good bomber aircraft if that's what you use it for.

Another example of their genius planning, when they released the sub instead of letting you park your amphibious aircraft in your watercraft they make a brand new sparrow for you to buy that’s identical in every way but without floats despite it being parked by water, leaving the better one with no use. Honestly my fucking head hurts from this. They’re doing literal mental gymnastics.
I would very much like to hear the internal justification why coaxial pea-shooters is something rockstar keeps adding into the game time and time again. Even in PVE they are both useless and un-fun/un-satisfying to use.
'Gunship' style helicopter weapons like tandem miniguns are supposed to saturate an area with gunfire. It should be like a continuous shotgun effect around a diameter at aimpoint so any infantry standing there would get laced up. They're not supposed be these surgically precise light-saber beams projecting out your front you have to manually aim at each and every dude standing in the open. Strafing NPC in PVE would be fun if it was a bit of spread to these things.
Taking a pretty ineffective weapon and make it slower firing so you have to be even more precise to connect and at the same time make it so we deal less damage with it - what's the point?
We now have dozens of instances of useless kit in the game that is one value in a textfile away from being something that serves a purpose in the game, it's just such a wasted effort for everyone. Players lose, Rockstar lose (worse product for no reason), devs making the content lose (nobody have fun with what they made and having it there just make them look incompetent at their job).
Absolutely nobody wins by having pea-shooters; so why pea-shooters again and again and again? Like I close my eyes and apply all my brainpower to concoct any scenario where this makes any sense and the only thing that comes up is that Rockstar must have a self-aware LSPD patrolcop NPC working as a developer for GTAO who always get's a vote on what weapons to hand players.

Chances are there is no animation to enter the back of the vehicle given the weapon placement. The obvious solution would be to add one but if they could not do that then centering the machine guns underneath the chopper and placing the rocket pods above the doors would have made enough space for animations to work right with passengers in the back.

Same goes for cars community wants and they just drop the bag (examples: ZR350 (RX-7 is nice model but cant compete with almost anything), Tailgaiter S ( we give you an Audi, but its a base model A3 with S-line bodykit and it will never be fast nor Quattro. R8 engine in a sedan, that's crazy.), Granger 3600LX (slower than the OG vehicle it should be replacing) etc

PLAY TESTING IS WHAT IS NEEDED BEFOREHAND!!!!!!!! I swear to God the people at R* grab some either shitty or good ideas (then make them shit ideas) and quickly work on an ass update and never EVER AT ALL play test anything. They just pray for update to not be full of bugs each time. I don't care about missions being reskinned tbh (I don't care about them at all nowadays) so thats fine but if you're gonna release a fucking weaponized vehicle at least test it in game for a few hours and adjust it accordingly to Online standards and LISTEN TO THE FANS! It would be great if R* not only listened to their fans but also fixed problems and did quality of life updates SOONER rather then YEARS down the line. And finally let RUclipsrs like Ghillie or Nitrix or literally anyone who plays Online play test the vehicles and updates sooner to give you feedback before releasing an update so that you can fix bugs beforehand and make your updates MILLIONS OF TIMES BETTER. aight im out now

It's like rockstar are in capable of good updates, they added the raiju which was a success, then I guess to cancel out all the positive feedback and balance it with greed they removed a bunch of content for purchase, effectively replacing it with garbage like this.

The only cool thing about the Conada is the name. They cleverly named it “conada”, a jumbled version of the word “coanda”, which comes from the “coanda effect”, which explains how the real life helicopter doesnt need a tail rotor.
Best part was I removed an aircraft from my hanger to make space for that POS helicopter. Apparently the Avenger can fit in the hanger storage now but still can't increase the number of personal aircraft.
