- A lot of people refer to the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC as the worst GTA Online update yet. A DLC that brought a lot of good, but also some very questionable decisions that appear to conflict with what the players want. I review the DLC and give my thoughts and feedback going forward.

The ability to choose land or air for the hangar when selling or supplying is cool too. But you’re pretty much spot on

Last update gotta be a heist bruh. Contact style missions with bad pay gets us bored.
The best part of this DLC:
1: The Raiju Jet
2: The Tactical SMG
3: The Avenger and its Upgrades
The worst parts:

I mean, no update until now has had more content removed than added until this update, even Arena War, with it's outrageous pricing and failed gamemodes, it didn't took away anything from previous updates

The Contract had great missions and awesome security contracts that pay well.
Criminal Enterprises gave us better payouts to heists, gameplay improvements, business overhauls.
Los Santos Drug Wars gave us an Acid Lab Business, which can be earned from Rank 1
San Andreas Mercenaries and Arena War are both equally the worst content updates.

GTA Online is at its best when you're allowed to use your creativity and experiment with the wide array of vehicles and tools offered. Not allowing the player to use all that stuff and giving out crap pay kills so much of the fun, which is why most contact missions are one and done for me.
You need to pay like $5m up front simply to play the new LSA missions too between buying the Avenger and the Terminal too, which adds insult to injury. That's almost yacht territory there, like when we had the yacht missions added in (which also had crap payout).
Meh I already had the avenger anyway and I was gonna buy the f160 anyway too so I got the upgrade for the trade price
You need to PAY in order to enjoy, just like the reality. No money no talk.
@chuihoi1423 The LSA missions don't pay enough to justify a $5m paywall. You could buy a Kosatka and Agency for that, and be making money a lot faster.
And unlike Cayo and agency work, there's basically no reason to play the LSA stuff more than once. It's a terrible deal.
This is why you always research before you buy.
Anyone who buys the Avenger or Yacht just to do missions can't blame Rockstar.
The fact that this implies that the nightclubs dlc which added the mk2 is better than the mercenaries dlc is concerning for rockstar games.

The good: Raiju, orb spam patch, hangar made more solo friendly
The bad: not one but TWO vehicle deleting glitches, some custom jobs ruined by props Allowlist change, no input bug patch, godmode still unpatched, new timed out screen when joining friends, almost 200 cars removed from websites and no longer purchasable, payphone hit cool down increased to 48min, conada has weak MGs, and even more dripfeed to the point where a vehicle is releasing every other month

I agree with the clothing. Especially the story mode outfits. If we can't customize them, I see no point in going for them.
Especially if the system that is tied to them is broken as shit. Unless they change that shit, I'm never going to bother trying to get any of those clothing.
Yeah, the lack of clothing is sad, they could add more Mercenaries clothing or even summer themed outfits like shorts, swim wear and such, also sporting clothing too tbh, just Rockstar had the good clothing but a locked behind exclusive outfits sets, special events, NPC's and so on, so yeah
This DLC will make a good ammount of legit players look for way to glitch things they want. Really sad when people have to take that route for things that should be normal game features.

I'd say so...just look at the clothing from this update. Literally only one thing that fit, and that was the merryweather outfit that you can't customise
They really wrote themselves into a corner with the Doomsday Scenario, how do you top saving the world against an evil AI with submarine cars and jetpacks? Everything they release after Doomsday is bound to disappoint and fall flat in comparison. Doomsday should've been the big send off for GTA 5 Online
Ye i agree maybe the next dlc could be another solo heist or a new contract in the agency with michael and in the end of GTA online clifford could return as rockstar has given us hints that Clifford is still somewhere and act like another doomsday heist for the sending off of gta online but idk just my opinion
Easy, do what GTA is supposed to be...criminal activity. Saving the world is not a GTA thing which makes Doomsday a stupid dlc.
I agree with the points you make. What I like the most in DLC is the balancing of certain vehicles. In future updates, i would much prefer to have more rebalanced old vehicles. The game is 100Gbs+ and what content do we see most? The mk2 which everyone loves to use, the toreador, Raiju and the Imani tech vehicles. That is just a fraction. What about the weaponized Tampa? I haven't seen anyone use it, I don't blame people, because it's just bad. The Vigilante, a car that costs 3.4+mil. that just has great rockets that happen to hit the ground in front of you. The game has enough content, it's just that the quality of said content is bad. I would be much happier to get an update that consist of rebalancing old vehicles only. The game then will get much more variety. As you said - "freemode missions are cool because you use what you have bought, and that's fun".
I've always had a recommendation for the Hangar that is alternative but makes sense. Instead of adding more aircraft slots for each hangar, allow there to be 2 hangar slots. The hangar is basically like a large special cargo warehouse. So rather than limit players to 1 hangar slot, simply add a secondary hangar option. It solves many problems easily, not enough aircraft slots, only 50 cargo capacity instead of the special cargo 's 111, and players like me could enjoy owning 1 hangar at LSIA and 1 at Fort Zancudo (and not have to pick between those two). I'm telling you, my idea makes sense
This is actually a great idea. Before Mercenaries, it wouldn't have been as good, but with the addition of Rooster to get crates, you could have him get cargo in the second hangar without screwing up the bonuses for the one you manually do missions for
Sometimes I wonder if the insurance and MoC glitch were intentional, like they were found but never fixed.
Think about it, the update that removed a lot of cars and now some cars you own are rare and limited, rockstar wouldn’t complain if you lost some forcing you to play the game more to get them back.
I don’t think they added it, I just think they found the glitch, and advised their staff to leave it until after the update came out and the community found the glitch.

@@cowhatcat8158 this point the code is a pile of huge spaghetti so I have no doubt it was made by accident. Lack of QA and also they recently hired many people from nation that is known for making shitty code. Putting those two together made this game almost unplayable
@@cowhatcat8158the avenger and MOC slot aren’t really 2 different things code wise. It’s the reason why the MOC had so many glitches and why once the Avenger got its own personal slot- it had the exact same ones.

Despite the quality of the update, I'm still waiting for Rockstar to give us the option to no longer pick up weapons from the ground that aren't in your weapon loadout in freemode

I would like to see a NEW SOLO Friendly HEIST for the next DLC. Hopefully bring back Michael for a Museum Heist. The Primary target would be world famous Art work or Crown Jewelry valued at 2 million. You could also have smaller Art work pieces valued at 200 thousand each for a max of 5 smaller pieces of Art Work.
Total Value is 3 million !!!!
So the Michael Heist could be the next VIP CONTRACT at the Agency 😮🤑
My suggestion will basically; Bring Michael back in the game, brings us a new Solo Friendly HEIST, & a New Contract for the Agency 😁

The free mode missions are good for waiting for warehouses and businesses to fill it’s a decent 70-90k cash bonus on top of the smuggler cache, g’s cache, nightclub safe, arcade, and ammunation shipment run
This is making the Drug Wars update look more polished.
Honestly, this DLC was the final nail in the coffin for me to stop playing. I’ve only been playing since the Cayo update, and after the Drug Wars update I’ve been slowly not getting on as much. But when this update was announced and they said that over 200 cars were gonna be removed for GTA+, I was devastated. So when I logged on to GTA Online one last time I thought to my self, “Man, this update is dogshit.” So I went ahead and deleted the game and just played Marvel’s Spider-Man. The Ryju jet looked cool, but the rest of the update wasn’t justifiable for me to keep on playing.

The unbathed (Trevor) - cannot customize
The Silent (Claude) - cannot customize
The Hired Gun (Niko) - cannot customize
Unreleased Seasonal Outfits - cannot customize
Unreleased GTA V Anniversary Outfits - cannot customize

San Andreas Mercenaries DLC, the first "DeLetable Content" update we got
Yeah I am saying it despite the new jet and some of the new vehicles added, this is easily one of the WORST updates in terms of content. The 6 missions were horrible, the payout was bad, and it didn't had much of a story. I mean seriously why is it that in 2023 that Rockstar is still giving out crappy payouts in these missions. You work so hard to do these missions because of how hard they are only to get paid very less. I will give Rockstar Credit that they did do a lot of Quality of Update dates that were much needed, but then they got really scummy removing like about 180 vehicles off of the car buying website. I know someone is going to make the argument "well you can just steal them off the street" you try to steal a car like the "Comet" for example and you go to LSC Mod shop and it won't let you do it because its "too hot". This dumb restriction has been in the game since day one so what the heck are you suppose to do with the car you stole? You also cannot store it the garage. These past weeks I've noticed Rockstar added these removed vehicles back in LS Car Meets, Luxary Autos, and Simeons Dealership and you have to hope and pray they add these vehicles in because once they are gone there is no way to get them back. Only if you spend more money on the new gen version of GTA 5 and buy GTA Plus THEN you can see all the removed cars at this Vinewood location which is by the docks btw. Its like whats the point? Why did they think this was a good idea? If I were to rate this update I would give it a 3/10 its really bad.
We just need a new heist. Something like the Casino Heist was perfect. Honestly a hybrid of Cayo Perico and the Casino Heist with all the customizations and less concrete bushes would be ideal.
And no stupid AGL setups/preps that are designed to make us want to pay for them instead
The Humane Labs heist setups are not done in freemode, they are a seperate mission lobby. Only Doomsday, Casino and Cayo have freemode preps.
I was referring to the new LSA mission that takes place in freemode that has you doing the same thing you do on the heist setup
3:27 totally agree with this, the moment I've discovered that I couldn't use the scuba diving suit to make that mission barely doable solo, I've just jumped out of it and never tried playing it again.
R* added a restriction to free mode that blocks access to the Avenger hold during some jobs. I tried doing the Fooligan job to take out Merryweather & was surprised that I could no longer set the Avenger auto pilot & use the terminal-controlled guns anymore. That's 1 more job I won't be playing anymore. Imani tech for all non-weaponized vehicles & HSW for all vehicles released before 2020 would be a step in the right direction. Having a new weapon is okay but more attachments like the MKII weapons got would be better such as a laser sight to replace the 3rd person reticle.
Ghillie, would it be very difficult to remove the loading screen when entering the MOC, Avenger or Terrorbyte?
And that they work similar to what you see on the Bombushka when you change turrets, adding the ability to move freely inside?
Do you think you could make a video in which you manage to do that?
It loads and de-loads the avenger interior under the map every time you enter. It’s hard coded into the game. Can’t change it.
@@Overqualification Yeah except use a mod menu to go/leave there, it takes absolute milliseconds. What else does it load? The interior color and the vehicle inside? I don't think that's supposed to take up to over a whole minute, or infinite loading if you're lucky
@@rightbehindyou9398 Same reason every game takes longer to load maps with more players. It’s also why you can get stuck on a loading screen, especially when entering the hangar. Something to do with it syncing. Loading via mod menu causes slight stutters or freezes which loading in normally doesn’t cause.
@@Overqualification I know how video games work behind the scenes, and often times GTA online stands out as a game that takes a large amount of time to "load" some nonsense. You don't remember/know about that one hacker that supposedly reduced online's loading time by half? The issue was that the game kept reading an xml file about 10,000 times over and over again. Or how come when you load into a session, either when you join a friend or finish a heist, you can see the lobby chat, hear voice chat, hear bullets/explosions and stuff going on, only for the game to "load" for 5 for minutes and give you an error in the end? You can't just blame the interior loading time on a map "with more players" and "something to do with syncing", this makes no sense. Your game can softlock entirely when a totally unrelated person in your lobby has tabbed out of the game. Does that sound reasonable? No rockstar is just completely incompetent and GTA's netcode is horrible.

A new Imani tech vehicle upgrade should be a radar jammer where if activated in a car it will make you go off the radar and you can't use drive-by weapons and throwables and potentially they can add Imani tech bundles that are more expensive where you can get lock-on jammer with radar jammer or remote control module with lock-on jammer. Just an idea they could do. And also regarding gta 5 as a whole I feel like rockstar is turning it into one big missed opportunity for the stuff they could be doing in my opinion its gonna be really sad when the servers for online finally shut down for this game later down the line if it ever comes to that so I hope rockstar can clear their act and full on start adding amazing things to the game a bit more. the thing that pisses me off the most about the new avenger missions, mostly the operations, is that you can barely use the avenger, and if they do its super inconsistent! the contact mission where you gotta find the crates with thermal, why cant i store any submarine car in the avenger ahead of time to use, but i can store anything else weaponised? and then the charlie mission where we have to steal a weaponised vehicle, it does let us put it in the back, even guides us to a spot close by that we can land and finish the mission! but then in the operation where you have to mark crates and steal a menacer, you cant use the avenger to ferry it back like a super expensive cargobob! you dont even use the avenger for the aircraft carrier mission, such a missed opportunity!
and the deluxo is still unable to enter the avenger mid air, they even took away the special message you used to get when you would try. The new thruster is good but you're unable to bring a friend up with you

I told ya they'd break shit when the update came out. This is why I never got hyped for it and kept my standards extremely low.

I have a sense for this.
It was stupid to nerf the hydras cannon. Years and years of ground vehicles were added with insanely high explosive resistance only becuase of how strong the hydra was. Now that the air to ground capabilities have been neutered, those ground vehicles are basically god mode. Not to mention a lot of people used the hydra as one of the best grinding vehicles. It’s firepower and speed was combo was unmatched. I don’t like the idea of rockstar taking away a power that’s already been in the game for so many years. Find another way to rework it. Make explosive sniper rounds more accessible, cut the damage to players in half but keep it the same for NPCs, etc. instead we the hydra is rendered obsolete, and now in a sense the raiju is blatantly overpowered because it does all the things the hydra does but better, oh and it goes off the radar. If you ask me, I’d say the raiju is OP and the hydra deserves more recognition. Why change something so drastically after so many years, especially a tool that helped grinders.

Avengers in Raiju mission are actually quite easy, once you figure it out. Once you kill everything else, either fly behind wind farm, over the top of Mt. Chilliad or into the city skyscrapers area.
Once i figured out, my gamepad was badly configured (my deadzones were too high), i actually had fun with that one.

For an update centred around private military is the fact there is little to no new military clothing is shocking there’s so many things I could’ve added for example purchasable gun belts equivocal pouches on plate carriers making the CEO vests/plate carriers buyable not to mention making camouflage versions of the tucked service shirt
The way I look at the Mercenaries and Drug Wars updates, excluding the summer update from last year, was Rockstar slowly ending the lifespan of GTA Online. The recent updates feel like not many people are still working on GTAO then before.
I'm still waiting for an "Open-Class" option to be added to Land/Stunt/Open-wheel races. Until that happens, I will be playing other games until the next contact mission update.
For hanger space I will want but one I would want is a second hanger (LSIA and Fort Zancudo) which benefits Rockstar and player for extra hanger space
Honestly one of the only things that you can spend your money on is cars and they removed most of them they are just giving us crappy contact missions for the last dlcs and giving us less and less opportunities to make money I’ve been trying really hard to give the game a chance but after 8 years of playing I’m just done with the game and rockstars lack of care and obvious obsession with money
What truly irked me was the return of the Beagle aircraft but was named COMPLETELY wrong and not staying true to the lore of San Andreas history. And Rockstar makes the same mistake again, like they did with another vehicle the Vortex Bike. But GTA Historians know that is a Hovercraft NOT a bike.
I remember the 200 missing vehicles. They are gone for good rip.

Funny how just that split second footage of the alkonost that you showed looks almost identical to the cutscene from cayo perico...so basically they recycled footage for a mission that cost 5mil?
On the scale of 1 - 10; I give the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC a 2.5.
Mainly because the Raiju Jet is the single best thing ever added to the game and that’s it. It’s the only good thing about the update. Without it, I would’ve given this DLC a 2 or 1.5.
Almost (keyword almost) everything else is just lackluster. Not to mention that Rockstar removing 180+ cars is a downright scummy and shady tactic they pull off, and forcing them to be only purchased through GTA+.
Literally nobody, not a single living soul on this Earth asked for what I mentioned. (Except maybe the Raiju jet)
The only thing I liked about this DLC was the Raiji. Tho a new heist would be nice. Or revert the change were the guards in the Cayo perico heist don’t see dead bodies. Made it easier with friends

I kinda knew Rockstar would do something with this DLC to make it contact mission-oriented and have no impact to gameplay or story wise (How do you fumble on DLCs based on being an IAA Agent and Mercenary Lieutenant?) but removing content from the game is just something no one expected at all. Rockstar’s been the gift that keeps on giving.

100% agree, Ghillie, very very good analysis and you made one strong point: Rockstar, from a dev perspective, it's not complicated to make a replayable mission rather than one that players will play only one, it's total a waste of effort...
The Raiju has a bug or some kind of issue with the cops. It gives you wanted level for no reason sometimes. Land the Raiju anywhere cops hang out at, then exit and reenter the jet, and you will get 3 stars for no reason.
I remember when major updates added new businesses or heists. Now it’s just 6 new contact missions and some new vehicles every time.
Oh, and they still haven’t patched the god mode speedo yet
To me the clothing (in the stores) felt like it was a 3rd update to the Last Dose dlc since that’s what they felt like. I was expecting more military themed outfits, updated body armor, stuff like that, not super bright colored with lightning or flames on the side. Feels like clothing was last on their minds and last minute realized they didn’t add anything related so they gave us a Merryweather outfit that’s been in the game since 2013 and called it a day. I feel this dlc is better than the Area Wars paywall of a dlc, but Criminal Enterprises at least fixed a lot of bugs, refreshed the forgotten businesses and had a good selection of cars. San Andreas Mercenaries brought the Raiju and Career Progress (only for next gen for some dumb reason and don’t give it to pc players) and that’s it; the playability is like what they did for the casino story missions: take missions that require multiple people and remove the limiter to make it solo but the missions were unchanged and not solo friendly (ironic since most of the new features and updates are aiming for solo players, though Career Progress does require friends to complete so T4’s). What did R* spend on that a multi billion dollar company that made so much on GTA V and Online spend the money on that they can’t afford to have a decent sized team for online? (Outside the obvious CEOs get overpaid and since they aren’t making much money, they’re gutting the bottom line)
Im glad I set my expectations low again, I think the avenger and raiju are cool, but the lack of any military outfit customization or more vehicles that are fitting of the dlc is just a major disappointment. I hope that if we do get another military themed dlc that we get military clothing, or even the army outfit used by soldiers at Fort Zancudo.
You can no longer launch preps or security contracts while using avenger cannons. Which basically means you wasted 750k for the upgrade

Ever since 2022 the updates lately have became more smaller and just more dripfeed than usual. Rockstar is really doing this on purpose just to make people play the game longer and they are also doing this FOMO when adding in cars becuase they say that "oh you have to get this car before its gone by next week" which makes people play the game spend more money on shark cards and then they can get the car they want. Whatever happened to updates that used to come so big with a lot of content? I understand the drip feed on the cars but lately they've just been doing it to missions and hard mode.

I just want a the RC vehicles (bandits, tank, pv) to have a 48 min cooldown timer for each one or even all 3 at once (so you can only use 1 per 48 mins) and make them appear on radar too. That balance I think would make freemode more better 😄👍. Can't tell you how many times I have gotten killed by a rc of any kind or people hide in them or even people throwing stickies while being in them. I think its a change that needs to be done.

Least favourite parts:
- Impossible career mode challenges for contact missions
- More aimbot ai
- No creativity in designing these missions just going to the same old places for the 1000th time
- Not letting us use our own vehicles in the new contact missions
- More poorly designed contact missions for example unconventional warfare if I go in and out of the server farm without breaking stealth I should be able to leave in the avenger without anyone chasing me. Shock and Awe as-well I cleared out the whole merry weather hq I should be able to push the cargo to the avengers with no one bothering me instead there is infinitely spawning enemies that spawn out of thin air.

It´s wierd that the clothes aren´t customizable, even in RDRO, the Outfits that you get from the main game, had at least the posibility to change hats, boots, or something small...
I've lost all hope for this game and I suspect the December update would be worse because if Rockstar is going down this direction where they are releasing updates but they are small and dripfeeding the content for so long then its not going to make me want to play the game. Before someone says anything I do play different games to pass to pass the time.

It's the only dlc that I would have preferred if it never existed... Like if u dont like the content of a dlc it's ok u can just not play it, but what if I wanna buy a car, and now I just can't that's so stupid

Custom races are fucked completely, they did a few messes with pvp that just didn’t need to happen, they made the career progress impossible in some ways and much more but because the cars are gone that’s all they got flamed for
R* should have gave more life to existing aircraft like the Valkyrie and Savage. The ability to add armor and throw in some liveries to choose from would have been a nice touch. Also, since it’s a military style DLC, why not add armor to the Chernobog so it’s not a giant paper target
Raiju kinda made many other jets useless tho, I hope at least they'd fix raiju's glitched bullet resistance
5:55 There really needs to be a New LMG. I think every Weapon Category got a New Weapon but not LMG's and I don't mean Mk2 Variants but completely New Weapons. The FN Evolys would be a nice Choice for example. Stoner LMG another, M60 etc.
They should equip the Alkonost with an Orbital Cannon bomb. Still has to be dropped, but much bigger explosion
The LSA free mode missions were actually badass when they were X2 money. I made just under $10,000,000 in about 13ish hours.
i have been playing gta since it first came out and i really started consistently playing 4 years ago and i can confidently say that dlc has now finally killed it all for me i’m rlly sad to say i don’t rlly play gta online at all anymore 💔
I really hope they make the MC businesses solo friendly too, or at the very least give us the option to choose what vehicle we use if not then let us upgrade the damn things to go faster. Post OP vans upgraded to Armored Boxville? Yes please.

The Mercenaries update is good because of the hangar source, weapon workshop, Jet, and Career progression that’s about it. Another Criminal Enterprise DLC would be nice.
I’m done with the new missions and only reason I’m still doing security contracts and payphone hits is to hit my 100 each & then all I need to do is find someone to redo the Franklin & Lamar missions with me.

I don't say its the worst dlc, but i think its an underwhelming update, they could fill things with vehicles we've wanted, another jet (F14 Tomcat maybe? Or F117 Nighthawk or such), maybe a commercial airline too (Boeing or Airbus airplane, or just a small plane or something like that), custom Benny's (Charles's) style vehicles for our aircrafts (Besra Custom as an example), give us at least another Open Wheels vehicles since the Hotring cars getting some attention for the last two update so far, a new bike (One based on the one in the Top Gun movie or such), proper off road vehicle (finally add the Jeep Gladiator, Lamborghini LM002 or whatever tbh), give us vehicles we really wanted tbh, honestly I don't mind the Clique Wagon, Walton and such, as long as the Dripfeed content has what we needed tbh, get the Weaponised Conada from Dripfeed and replace it for something we truly need while such be a Day 1 vehicle, the amount of Dripfeed content is sad tbh, should of pad it out till December or an Autumn update that adds the missing vehicles tbh, so yeah
i like the content they added. i just wish it was better overall and there was more of it. 100% agree on the clothing front. not being able to customize the merryweather outfit apart from getting rid of the vest is a joke.
The worst payout I have seen for missions that are way harder than even some of the heists. I found a bug on day 1. I loaded the Draugr into the Avenger, got to the safehouse with it aboard, went to unload it and it was locked in the back of the avenger. Only option was to reset. When I saw the payout, It felt like a middle finger was given. Easily one of rockstars least exciting updates. I wasted all that cash on the Avenger thinking it would pay itself off. Not even 10% of the Avenger was paid off from the missions. Id argue the downhill trajectory started when HSW update was made console exclusive. Theyve shown us they do not care about the player or the product, just GTA+ subs from 10 year old timmys and shark card sales. The party has been over for a while, at least for anybody paying attention.
This career progress b.s…. All it’s meant to do is keep us busy trying to do all the stuff we’ve already done dozens of times while we wait for VI to release, all for a hat or shirt 🙄. Hopefully Decembers dlc won’t remove anymore content like mercenaries did.
No additional Air Hanger space was a definite big missed opportunity.
It seams like ever since Rdr Online was discontinued its online update team was moved to Gta Online and Gta Online team moved to helping with Gta 6
They are so many things that pisses me off about this update. You mentioned everything and i cant really have much to say but one thing that pisses me is the many bugs that i encountered at . Not to mentioned they haven't fixed some old bugs too , for example the statue duggans in the casino hesit were they never move . Thats ridiculous that not only we lost contect so rockstar make us play more or pay , they even added so many bugs that they are really game breaking. I was expecting bugs but so many??? Especially the ones that you could lost your cars forever. Thats THE worst update of all , i freaking prefer the arena war DLC, at least thats fun .

I hate how the streamer 216 sky diving plane they added is only a 4 seater, yet if you look inside the back of the plane, there’s bench rows with room for about 10+ more people…
About the tactical SMG btw, it's not even just good for drive-by's, it's just...good. Period. Big mag size, fast fire rate, decent DPS... It's basically a headshot magnet.

About the deletion of the cars on the websites: It's dumb, we know that. The issue wasn't even the fact the cars that weren't used by like 90% of the players were removed (and those people that are complaining way too much about it? Stop. You always pick an Itali GTO or a Krieger on races); the problem was to put it behind a paywall in next-gen. That enraged everybody because it shows what'll happen to everyone on any platform (if Rockstar ever releases next-gen content on PC that is)
I think you might agree with me on this Ghillie: Some of the car customizations on the dealerships are nice so... Why not make those customizations (like, I don't know: Painting the freaking stock wheels!) available for anyone at the LS Customs/Car Meet? Why do we need to wait weeks to get unique features on some cars or try glitches to get them? GTA+? I don't even think that is it anymore. Just straight up forgetting about the game, just like RDO. On PC is even worse since we don't have career paths or anything like it to be entertained in the meantime (maybe avoiding modders on public lobbies, but that's another story)
About the gun: Perfect. Love the sound (they're making great work on that part, even on that Precision Rifle), love the fire rate, and love the 60-clip mag. I can finally bring my MK2 SMG back to stock because this one can shoot almost the same from a car.
Clothing? Yeah... Glitches again. That's so disappointing. The overall quality of the update is questionable, but at least some stuff was quickly fixed (except the fact my controller keeps getting stuck from time to time), and the balancing of the jets and the orbital cannon is neat (yes, they won't remove it Ghillie. Don't keep your hopes up). It isn't like those dark times when you couldn't enter the game without worrying about kids getting your IP, DDoS attacks, lost profiles, and so on, but still not great.
The vehicle selection was saved by the Raiju and the Imani Tech-capable cars, definitely. About that last one, sure: It'll be amazing to have everything with lock-on jammers... But we need to get Imani out of the agency to be good. I can't imagine getting every single vehicle through the agency, just to add those features. Maybe the LS Car Meet, the MOC, and Avenger workshops would be amazing candidates, just saying.
Overall, I've played less and less new content from the game (the blips are so slow to appear, or the modders stop them from appearing), and more races (and the occasional anti-griefer fightback). It's cool to have snow as an option on races, and I've been winning with more cars while everyone else is using the typical Itali GTO, Pariah, Deveste 8, Krieger, and so on (you can imagine how they drive in the first 10 seconds of each race), but that's it. There aren't too many new things to explore compared to other DLCs.

Surly not the worst dlc they ever made, but in top 10 of worst dlcs they ever made. Maybe top 5. I would love if they just made an update with a bunch of gameplay improvements.
- Let us upgrade and customize CEO vehicles (Amphibious Hovak with explosive missiles would be fun. Flares for Buzzard and Sparrow, etc)
- No need to despawn your vehicle before calling a new one
- Give us a business like the auto-shop, but for Aircrafts
- Give us a proper Taxi business. Hire npcs drivers, add proper story missions (like Kaufman cabs in VC), add taxi liveries for a lot of existing vehicles etc.
I wish we can put Imani tech on the armored kuruma.
Gta has turned into a sandbox game that you're not allowed to build sand castles in and they just recently removed spade shovels 😅
