This affects the Armored Paragon from Casino missions, Dave's Weevil from Cayo missions, and the Virtue from the most recent Last Dose missions. A bug also existed that spawned you with no weapons if you died during the Cayo Perico heist (forgot to include but has since been fixed) and the cooldown I mentioned for payphone hits used to work, but has also been "fixed" so you're stuck with the 48 minutes. No fun allowed. *Quick Note On Jobs* As I said at the start I oversimplified the issues relating to the creator for the sake of brevity - there are certainly more nuances to the fact that Rockstar have broken their own jobs (not just Stunt - Forest) and it has also been a recurring thing for updates over the years. this DLC is a huge invite for modders to come up with a 3rd party car catalogue order service using available external mod menues and make them user friendly as well as "lucrative" with scripting and discord / patreon authentication. only then r* will clean up the mess and come up with a proper quality of life update for car collectors only. including auto-generated movies of gallery tours, extended car modding workshop. R* seriously has a software project management issue to produce these fundamentally stupid updates.
seems GTA6 hype related, transition time of preparing the GTAO community to subsume to accept that we have entered a post-late game phase, pissing off the community deeply in order to get ready to migrate. or just a change in project management, quality control is abyssmal.

@@hspank All that says to us is if these psychological tactics work you can bet your dollar that R* will do it again for the online component of 6, making the experience there just as unpleasant since they have over a decade of experience to show mismanaging multiplayer. Makes GTA6 look less attractive, even if its single player may be infinitely better. I still hadn't bought RDR2 as R* had zero interest porting RDR1 to PC, and knowing what they did for Definitive Edition, they'll probably screw that up too if plans for it did go ahead. Hard to believe that we're at a point in the 2020s when we have even less praises to sing about R* than when GTA5 came out, yet GTA6 will probably still sell like crazy because mainstream gamers are none the wiser. R* under T2 is truly up there in the pantheon of dodgy game companies among the likes of EA, Blizzard-Activision, Microsoft and Ubisoft.

I have created around 120 races over the years. I cannot explain how disheartening it is to see my creations destroyed for no reason. To have to go in and try to fix every race.... I don't even want to turn the game anymore. It will take weeks to fix them all! Edit: I am happy to report it seems as though the fix has indeed fixed my tracks! 😆 ... well the ones I attempted, anyway. Now the only person I can blame for their poor construction is me! 😅
As a car collector i love collecting cars that have a long history in the gta series and seeing cars like infernus,comet, cheetah and other classic cars removed from the website it's utterly disgusting that rockstar removed them.
They straight-up hate fans of the franchise. I think a lot of this is explained by Kotaku article about how the company culture has changed. They probably think the average GTA player is racist, sexist, etc, and therefore deserves to be treated like garbage. It’s not just greed anymore. Breaking people’s custom races doesn’t make them money, and it wasn’t an accident. They did it because they hate the people who play the game.

Many of the old faces, especially in the writing team have moved on to other things. I’m not confident whoever is in charge now is capable of writing something as nuanced or funny as GTA SA, IV, or RDR2. V’s story was pretty mid, but at least it was fun.

Yeah. The pokemon community has made it pretty clear. All pokemons can be used. But you can't stick fucking mewtwo against a fucking caterpie. It just don't work! But of course players don't see it this way. They want to run around in god mode in their truck that has the AA cannon trailer. And anything less than that is "haha you suck" followed by a breakup kick. God. Players really will just minmax the fun out of the fun....

The lining up of the cars at the airport was brilliant. That imagery alone will catch many people's eyeballs and attention to what R* is doing. We've given them the benefit of the doubt, so many times, no more.
In one update, I've gone from playing this game 24/7 to not wanting to touch it and considering uninstalling it altogether. I'm not gonna give these clowns at Rock* the satisfaction of me playing their game, and I know I'm not the only one feeling this way.

I'm part of crews where we frequently host all kinds of events with themed playlists and other activities. Since most C* created jobs don't fit enough players needed for us, we have to rely a lot on the community created jobs. Unfortunately now most of the jobs we've often played are broken and unplayable. I honestly wish this update never happened. Seeing the panic in the creator Discord in the morning of the DLC release felt like a nightmare. Instead of excitedly checking out all the new vehicles and missions, I and other creators had to witness with horror the sea of blue fences in our jobs and hundreds of hours gone to waste. Yes, some creators even used mods but nothing harmful came of using them. On the contrary, their works expanded the gaming experience a lot and the whole community got to enjoy those wonderful creations from slippery ice tracks to crazy alien maps, custom sumo modes and so on. Alas, C* fun police once again had to intervene.
Live service games are cancer. Brother. Go to your people. Tell them its time for all of us to create a priavte community run version of GTA online. The RP community already basically does this. Its peer to peer! We can steward our hobby better than some suit can.

@@Moe_Posting_Chad It would be the smart idea to avoid taking down private servers and mods that don't undercut the company itself, but no, Rockstar took down several dozen mods for their older GTA titles just so they can release the Definitive Edition. In fact, Nintendo and Activision-Blizzard took down other non-profit fan games and mods for seemingly no reason at all. If it's possible to do so, then Rockstar will lock those servers behind the GTA Online Plus paywall or erase those servers from existence entirely, because they solely serve the shareholders and most players wouldn't care about quality because they pay for shark cards and keep Rockstar rich.
A 'bug' that really annoys me is how some clothing items now have clipping issues. A long time favorite outfit of mine now has a clipping issue where the tank top will poke through the denim jacket I'm wearing over it, making it look weird. I noticed the patch notes stated they fixed a clipping issue with some clothing items, but of course in usual Rockstar fashion, they didn't test any of the other clothing items before finalizing everything. Truly a garbage, low effort update.

Despite GTA Online being a 10-year-old game, Rockstar seem to be paying lots of attention to it recently. Unfortunately, all their efforts are directed at shamelessly exploiting the player base, rather than improving their experience.

No it wasn't, they were completely fine how they were, but of course they had to tone it down in order to make the new jet look better. Now they're just as bad as the B-11, worse even, since the B-11 has proper rockets and bombs, not even direct hits from the cannon kills a target on foot. Absolute dog shit, the only vehicle left with the death cannon is the Savage chopper.

@@MattJames2211yeah but the lazar and hydra now struggle with A.I. I thought they would just nerf the splash damage, so you would still have to aim, but you can still do straifing runs. They've made the hydra and lazar obsolete. I think they should boost all cannon rates to the normal rate, and also slightly increasing the B-11 and raiju since they have the best handling, while also reducing the blast damage on all of them
@@connorpallister4804 raiju seems pretty decent against enemy AI, if you use the hover mode that is I haven't tried the lazer or hydra but I was never very good with those anyway

Many years ago, on PS3, I lost the first car I got in GTA Online due to an insurance bug. It was a Dominator I grabbed off the street that Simeon covered for me. I also had the original Dukes car disappear as returning player award on PS4 for disconnecting my account from the social club. I do that because sometimes it helps resolve odd bugs. In both cases, Rockstar gave me money for the value of the lost vehicles but could or would not restore them. I bet the insurance and MOC delete bugs have something to due with R* trying to stop car duplication glitchers.
Another bug that wasn't mentioned but it's affecting other players (including me) is regarding the vehicle rewards by completing final missions like getting Agatha's Paragon R, Dave's Weevil and recently Friedlander's Virtue. Yesterday i finished the Last Dose missions and got the call from Dax to pick up the Virtue but didn't spawn in the map (even though going to its spawn location it was still not there). Restarted the game and still didn't spawn. I'm not even mad at this point, many people wrote to R* support regarding this bug where some got the money to buy the Virtue but many got those stupid automated answers where some ahole tried to get on our nerves stating that it was a limited time event in march that's now expired and that the car can't be redeemed, like bro... At this point i don't even care anymore nor i will waste my time writing to R* support about the Virtue bug, me just seeing from multiple sources, youtubers, etc, stating the problems, laziness and greed that this "DownGradeableContent" (DLC) is, just makes me even more to stop playing this game completely (the reason why i finished the Last Dose missions only now).
I was looking for this bug in the video thanks for pointing it out. I wasn't sure if it was a bug or a limited time event. If it is happening with other reward cars then for sure it's a bug. I remember getting Agatha's Paragon R on PS4.
A thing about the virtue that went unnoticed, aside from the fact that you still can't use sticky in them, you now can't shoot at all in remote control car mode, which was possible before.
The fact that he mention the Expanded and Enhanced really put a smile in my face. So many ppl forget about PC and Im sick of it. I also want those speedy cars and stuff. The customizations and all. The graphic overhauls. But no..after years, still nothing. I really hope at THE VERY LEAST that it drops either this or middle of next year. If not, Idk if Imma be playing GTA much longer. Its getting boring at this point.

The craziest thing is the best part of this update was a hot fix that's years past date (the cannon nerf). This update shows that Rockstar has fully clocked out, or redirected all their recourses to GTA 6, but that's no excuse.
Thought it was known at this point that Rockstar assigned a small team for GTA Online whereas the rest is working on GTA VI. I think this was confirmed years ago by someone on GTAForums, but basically that's the reason why the small GTAO team sucks lol

If they truly clocked out on this game then they should grow a fucking spine and come out to say that they're ending DLC support for this game and now are all hands on deck with VI. But not before fixing the shitshow that they caused with this DLC.
Their lies about streamlining the websites become even more obvious when you take into account that they didn't even remove the topless versions of the Coquette Classic and Banshee on legendary, which are of course the exact same cars as the regular versions. Adding/removing the roof is a tuning option. Also of course it was crucial to remove the Comet from Benny's as that wasn't already one of the sites with the least amount of stock.

That car is just so weird, it's a ImaniTech car that can also have HSW mods, it comes with BP windows as standard but somehow it doesn't have a dedicated map blip like all the other ImaniTech vehicles with BP windows have, also no reinforced armor which means that it blows up with one RPG or Grenade...

Like I said in the video, the reinforced armour is associated with the roll cage modification. It’s there but not in its own category. It’s a mess of a car tbh
It's a 2 door version of the Rumpo Custom like all of the other vehicles with bullet-resistant windows that were added with the Gun Running dlc where the armor is more of a visual effect like the Arena vehicles and the Paragon R. I've had zero issues running the Armored Tampa whose dual driver operated mini guns make short work of NPCs despite being vulnerable to a single rocket
I think, they´re trying to figure out, how much they can push, before the community will push back. Another possibility is testing content and psychological systems for GTA6. Also, there is high possibility, the game content is now made by novice programmers (widespread issue throughout the industry nowadays), who lack understanding, how the game is coded, which leads to appearances of those game-breaking bugs.
Or the online component for GTA VI is being designed to be a lot more reliant on grinding pay-to-win machanics from the get-go, so by watering down GTA Online new players won't know that it used to be better. Same thing happened with the multiplayer part of GTA IV, it was a LOT more fun simply because you could just log on and have fun without any paywalls.
I wouldn't be surprised if a large majority of the best programers left after the 2+ years of "crunch time" work scheduling for Red Dead 2. Last quarter, or even last 2 quarters crunch has been a thing for a long time, but R* took it to a new level with over 8 quarters of 80+ hours a week on salary pay.
This update by itself has killed all my interest in the game. Finally, to be honest - it has been a long run. I'm a solo player mostly because I liked gta online for the collector aspect. It was fun for me to role play a criminal with too much money at their disposal and so was also as an exotic car collector. It was why I subscribed to your channel: for the information on car performances before I purchased them. So, the removal of so many cars at one go from being purchased (with the obvious intention of introducing FOMO) has stripped what I enjoyed about GTA Online from the game. Plus, I liked to use the jets pre-update, both Lazer and Hydra, not to grief other players, but for goofing off with cops in freemode. Picking off their cruisers and keeping 5 stars for as long as possible. It reminded me of the old rampaging I used to do on III era gta games. That too is more or less gone with the update.
Sucks that the jet cannons all suck now because people were griefing hard after the oppressor nerf 🤦🏾♂️. I'm kinda getting over always online games because your fun is always dictated by people who are dicks if you think about it.
This update really has now finally pushed it over the line for me and I have now quit this game. I feel ashamed for having hope in this company. It is a disgrace to the gaming industry and really highlights so many things wrong with the gaming industry. The problem is they will get away with it because the majority of the people/community just don’t give enough of a f*ck to actually notice what is going on or even more, then actually care to do anything against it and stand up for themselves… This update really has just made me sad…
Yeah mate good on ya. Quit this game long ago and it is the best thing I could’ve done. The game used to be so much fun, but the cancerous community + the relentless grind and overall exploitative business practices from Rockstar Has genuinely made it a chore to play. You are right too: the majority will keep playing which will tell Rockstar they can treat their fans like trash and they’ll come back for seconds. Really disappointing, however it can’t be helped.
I agree, every time you ask them how they did it, they want you to join discord select a role and do this and then this. MF just tell how you did it, we don’t need Discord.

Not much really. Afaik the last major scream for help from the community to the devs was about the account deletion exploit caused by mod menus on the PC version. Despite the gravity of the situation it still took them atleast 2 weeks to fix the issue. I doubt they will respond in a helpful manner in this case.
my biggest annoyance with this mission is the third angels mission where you dogfight a bunch of jets, helicopters and 2 avengers, everything else isn't that bad but the FUCKING AVENGERS have for some reason what feels like a million health, 2 rockets from the jet doing bugger all damage to it and they also have the explosive cannons that basically one shot you
Not sure if anyone said this yet (aside from DarkViperAU of all people): Rockstar silently removed over 200 Adversary Mode jobs in the last few hours, & they are completely inaccessible, because they also removed the ability to play delisted jobs via old playlists, which means delisted contact missions, delisted races, etc. are completely inaccessible. They somehow made an update so bad, it's attracted the attention of news outlets who have never even played GTAO before, & yet their commenting on the massive outrage that Rockstar is getting.
In the Experience Improvements newswire article, they said that the prop limit on PC is gonna get raised to 300. Well, unfortunately, this change has not been made, but what's disappointed me the most is that line in the article was deleted! A last-minute decision reversal on something that would've been quite significant for creators...
Fixing the browsing experience would've been as simple as implementing a search bar. But no, im now not allowed to buy cars that I actually want now. Hats off to this woeful update

One thing to add is that about a year ago they buffed the nightclub, making it generate money faster and increased the safe capacity. And they added 2 very quick and easy mini missions to gain popularity. With this update they've put some kind of cooldown on the mini missions. Idk exactly how long, but you used to be able to do them over and over repeatedly and now you cant. Its very annoying anytime they make positive changes and add missions, businesses or activities that actually give you enough money to be worth doing, they end up quietly nerfing them. Like changing the payphone hit cooldown from 15 to 45 minutes.
I did notice that during the doomsday heist and the cayo perico heist some things were missing. The first doomsday heist where you're talking to the agent on his phone, he's gone and doesn't show up anymore.
They honestly could've ended with the Criminal Enterprise DLC. But then nobody would have a reason to buy GTA+ anymore if there's no content to spend money into.
GTA 5 online mode wasn't originally created to support a huge online community and service, Rockstar even imagined GTAO could become so huge. So after many DLCs, many of them adding a property in the game and other different things, it has broken the code, causing a lot of bugs and conection malfunction.

Said it before: Been buying GTA since GTA 1. GTA V is my last. Playing it was already psychological warfare, trying to have some fun against the weight of push to buy a shark card... then this.
Wow. The final nail in the coffin came years ago for me, but this is just laughably absurd! How did Rockstar end up like this? I never could have predicted this, as someone who used to play their games obsessively. They were so reliable. GTA 4 Online was the best online experience I've ever had. I feel that the majority of game design decisions in GTA 5 Online make no sense whatsoever XD ... and have made it unplayable for me, personally.
I remember the chaos GTA V was in the transitional period between 360 and Xbox One round 2014-2016. The updates functioned and gave new content; modded goofy missions worked well with legit ones and it made for endless ridiculous hours bouncing between a race then a modded deathmatch that could break your game. I ultimately retired my GTA Online account in 2018-'19 when just about everyone I knew had parted ways, and I saw that the "golden age" of Online was coming to an end ,as prices were skyrocketing, players became bigger griefers, and the grinds went from: fun to we were nearly melting down in pure fury when even a slight bad judgement call happened. I don't regret not looking back on it and I will just embrace what I had done in it. I had a modest account, and I mainly just helped friends, who spent a lot more time grinding than I choose to, which I was fine with. I began playing Online in 2013 and it feels unbelievable it's been a decade since and Online did not age well and it's frustrating to see a company collapse in just one development cycle of one of their games.
I started playing GTA online on PS5 recently with my partner. We enjoyed what GTA online has been. Nightclub popularity money was increased on next gen, the Agency was a great way to make money occasionally and everything was going fine. We actually had a blast playing even if it was just freemode. When I noticed they removed almost 200 cars to "improve the browsing experience" (Sorry, I meant "to make yet another cash grab"), I said I don't want to play this game anymore. I uninstalled it from my console immediately, being super upset with what was going on. Later my partner asked if we could do our daily spin one last time to set an end to our daily spin tradition. Tears fell when I said I had already uninstalled it and that I'm done with the game. A longer while ago, my partner wanted me to get a certain dress from the Casino. I said I'm not much into dresses but eventually bought it just from the chips I gathered through our daily spins and said I will eventually create a nice outfit with it, which never happened until this DLC dropped. I installed it again on the same day the update launched after feeling extremely bad and guilty. I told my partner to wait at the Casino, I need to do something. Right before I came back, I said that I had a promise to keep and fulfil. We started crying and gave the game and Rockstar our final minutes of playtime. Anyway, GTA 5 online has been fun. Over 2500hrs combined, a million laughed out tears.. and two (probably hundreds of thousands) broken hearted players at the end. Sad to see you go like this, Rockstar.
I really appreciate the relatively chill tone you kept throughout the entire video, including the final part where you show comprehension towards those 5 Rockstar employees trying to keep the boat afloat while having to comply with the board's shitty decisions. Many other players and content creators would have probably sounded furious all throughout the footage, rightfully so, were they to make a video about this DLC, but I feel like keeping a tone of "not mad, just disappointed" is way more impactful and shows how serious and mature we are about it, and how much we still do really care about the game, rather than going apeshit and being dismissed by the Rockstar higher-ups as whiny crybabies as they keep tasking their subjects with shoveling crap down our throat with no remorse. Anyways, quoting my comment towards someone who was complaining about GTA Online getting updates unlike RDO, "I feel like RDO might have had it better this time, not receiving an update at all, over GTA Online receiving this mess of a downgrade".
I suppose there's someone at Rockstar whos entire job is to make everyone "play by the rules" by deleting restricted props. In a game about breaking the rules.

I am a Huge fan of both Broughy1322 & Failrace, have seen Incredible Races & Minigames done by both. But to see T2 Interactive destroy a community this big to the point of it being on life support is just sad. Not looking forward to GTA 6 Online, hoping it won't become a paid subscription game.

I think these changes to the creator might have been (at least temporarily) reverted on PC. I've heard from PC creators today that their tracks with dev accessed props are working for the time being. I hope this will stay and is a tiny light in the tunnel, but knowing r*, they will probably find a way to make it even worse. Oh, and by the way this wasn't mentioned in the video, but PC was supposed to get in the creator 300 props and 30 removals (instead of 200+20) as stated in the newswire post, but they deleted that part from it and we still haven't got it. By far the worst GTA DLC released, I'm switching to sim and real life racing and definitely not coming back. Maybe in GTA 6
I would argue this update is such an abject slap in the face that any sane person would've predicted this would annoy players and jeopardize shark card revenue, constituting a breach of fiduciary obligations to TTWO shareholders.

The writing is on the wall for Gta6. We have spent years looking forward to it & now I doubt I'll waste the money. Gta+ will be a must have for serious players. I'd rather spend the money on a PC & enjoy FiveM.
Considering I have an friend whom left Cok*, it’s no surprise. Internally, they are a mess. Complete teams dedicated to things have been axed/fired. My acquaintance (referred to as Mr J) left C* and went to another studio because management there refused to listen to any suggestions or efforts to fix things. As far as the creator, one thing I've always wanted to do for years is create a race where you start with a wanted level. I've tried so many different ways to get a wanted level on two players in the race, even going as far as to try to force players to run over explosive tanks near pedestrians and hopes that they'll get a star and don't end up losing it before the cops can even catch up to them. Why won't Rockstar at this feature? Why? Just make a good game. All I want to do is play GTA and have it be good. They're getting away with this because they don't have any competition. If you want to play a game like GTA, where else are you really going to go? We need somebody to make a game that's open world and very similar to GTA and GTA online, but do it right without all the greed, and I guarantee you they will make more money than ROCKSTAR

I don't believe that timing is conincidence - you made your voices heard on this and it worked! Keep it up! *Quick Note On Bugs/Annoyances*
It seems like there's a new bug to report which I only became aware of after the video - reward cars don't spawn and so you simply don't get given the cars after the phone calls suggestion they should be available. Avoid finishing the relevant missions until this is fixed. This affects the Armored Paragon from Casino missions, Dave's Weevil from Cayo missions, and the Virtue from the most recent Last Dose missions. A bug also existed that spawned you with no weapons if you died during the Cayo Perico heist (forgot to include but has since been fixed) and the cooldown I mentioned for payphone hits used to work, but has also been "fixed" so you're stuck with the 48 minutes. No fun allowed.
*Quick Note On Jobs*
As I said at the start I oversimplified the issues relating to the creator for the sake of brevity - there are certainly more nuances to the fact that Rockstar have broken their own jobs (not just Stunt - Forest) and it has also been a recurring thing for updates over the years. Nevertheless the key takeaway from that part of the video, beyond the "extra" props being removed, is that a number of regular "legitimate" props have also been removed (or not remembered to be included in the new allow list) and this has broken many community tracks that haven't even used any of the arbitrarily disallowed props (such as the original versions of some community series jobs).

this DLC is a huge invite for modders to come up with a 3rd party car catalogue order service using available external mod menues and make them user friendly as well as "lucrative" with scripting and discord / patreon authentication. only then r* will clean up the mess and come up with a proper quality of life update for car collectors only. including auto-generated movies of gallery tours, extended car modding workshop.
R* seriously has a software project management issue to produce these fundamentally stupid updates.

@@hspank All that says to us is if these psychological tactics work you can bet your dollar that R* will do it again for the online component of 6, making the experience there just as unpleasant since they have over a decade of experience to show mismanaging multiplayer. Makes GTA6 look less attractive, even if its single player may be infinitely better. I still hadn't bought RDR2 as R* had zero interest porting RDR1 to PC, and knowing what they did for Definitive Edition, they'll probably screw that up too if plans for it did go ahead.
Hard to believe that we're at a point in the 2020s when we have even less praises to sing about R* than when GTA5 came out, yet GTA6 will probably still sell like crazy because mainstream gamers are none the wiser. R* under T2 is truly up there in the pantheon of dodgy game companies among the likes of EA, Blizzard-Activision, Microsoft and Ubisoft.

I have created around 120 races over the years. I cannot explain how disheartening it is to see my creations destroyed for no reason. To have to go in and try to fix every race.... I don't even want to turn the game anymore. It will take weeks to fix them all!
Edit: I am happy to report it seems as though the fix has indeed fixed my tracks! 😆 ... well the ones I attempted, anyway. Now the only person I can blame for their poor construction is me! 😅

As a car collector i love collecting cars that have a long history in the gta series and seeing cars like infernus,comet, cheetah and other classic cars removed from the website it's utterly disgusting that rockstar removed them.

Many of the old faces, especially in the writing team have moved on to other things. I’m not confident whoever is in charge now is capable of writing something as nuanced or funny as GTA SA, IV, or RDR2. V’s story was pretty mid, but at least it was fun.

The lining up of the cars at the airport was brilliant. That imagery alone will catch many people's eyeballs and attention to what R* is doing. We've given them the benefit of the doubt, so many times, no more.
In one update, I've gone from playing this game 24/7 to not wanting to touch it and considering uninstalling it altogether. I'm not gonna give these clowns at Rock* the satisfaction of me playing their game, and I know I'm not the only one feeling this way.

I'm part of crews where we frequently host all kinds of events with themed playlists and other activities. Since most C* created jobs don't fit enough players needed for us, we have to rely a lot on the community created jobs. Unfortunately now most of the jobs we've often played are broken and unplayable. I honestly wish this update never happened. Seeing the panic in the creator Discord in the morning of the DLC release felt like a nightmare. Instead of excitedly checking out all the new vehicles and missions, I and other creators had to witness with horror the sea of blue fences in our jobs and hundreds of hours gone to waste. Yes, some creators even used mods but nothing harmful came of using them. On the contrary, their works expanded the gaming experience a lot and the whole community got to enjoy those wonderful creations from slippery ice tracks to crazy alien maps, custom sumo modes and so on. Alas, C* fun police once again had to intervene.
Live service games are cancer. Brother. Go to your people. Tell them its time for all of us to create a priavte community run version of GTA online. The RP community already basically does this. Its peer to peer! We can steward our hobby better than some suit can.

@@Moe_Posting_Chad It would be the smart idea to avoid taking down private servers and mods that don't undercut the company itself, but no, Rockstar took down several dozen mods for their older GTA titles just so they can release the Definitive Edition. In fact, Nintendo and Activision-Blizzard took down other non-profit fan games and mods for seemingly no reason at all.
If it's possible to do so, then Rockstar will lock those servers behind the GTA Online Plus paywall or erase those servers from existence entirely, because they solely serve the shareholders and most players wouldn't care about quality because they pay for shark cards and keep Rockstar rich.
A 'bug' that really annoys me is how some clothing items now have clipping issues.
A long time favorite outfit of mine now has a clipping issue where the tank top will poke through the denim jacket I'm wearing over it, making it look weird.
I noticed the patch notes stated they fixed a clipping issue with some clothing items, but of course in usual Rockstar fashion, they didn't test any of the other clothing items before finalizing everything.
Truly a garbage, low effort update.

Also about the new jet you are incorrect, that also has nerfed explosive guns. The Lazer and Hydra nerf was a good thing.
No it wasn't, they were completely fine how they were, but of course they had to tone it down in order to make the new jet look better. Now they're just as bad as the B-11, worse even, since the B-11 has proper rockets and bombs, not even direct hits from the cannon kills a target on foot. Absolute dog shit, the only vehicle left with the death cannon is the Savage chopper.

@@MattJames2211yeah but the lazar and hydra now struggle with A.I. I thought they would just nerf the splash damage, so you would still have to aim, but you can still do straifing runs. They've made the hydra and lazar obsolete. I think they should boost all cannon rates to the normal rate, and also slightly increasing the B-11 and raiju since they have the best handling, while also reducing the blast damage on all of them
@@connorpallister4804 raiju seems pretty decent against enemy AI, if you use the hover mode that is I haven't tried the lazer or hydra but I was never very good with those anyway

Many years ago, on PS3, I lost the first car I got in GTA Online due to an insurance bug. It was a Dominator I grabbed off the street that Simeon covered for me. I also had the original Dukes car disappear as returning player award on PS4 for disconnecting my account from the social club. I do that because sometimes it helps resolve odd bugs. In both cases, Rockstar gave me money for the value of the lost vehicles but could or would not restore them. I bet the insurance and MOC delete bugs have something to due with R* trying to stop car duplication glitchers.
Another bug that wasn't mentioned but it's affecting other players (including me) is regarding the vehicle rewards by completing final missions like getting Agatha's Paragon R, Dave's Weevil and recently Friedlander's Virtue. Yesterday i finished the Last Dose missions and got the call from Dax to pick up the Virtue but didn't spawn in the map (even though going to its spawn location it was still not there). Restarted the game and still didn't spawn.
I'm not even mad at this point, many people wrote to R* support regarding this bug where some got the money to buy the Virtue but many got those stupid automated answers where some ahole tried to get on our nerves stating that it was a limited time event in march that's now expired and that the car can't be redeemed, like bro...
At this point i don't even care anymore nor i will waste my time writing to R* support about the Virtue bug, me just seeing from multiple sources, youtubers, etc, stating the problems, laziness and greed that this "DownGradeableContent" (DLC) is, just makes me even more to stop playing this game completely (the reason why i finished the Last Dose missions only now).
I was looking for this bug in the video thanks for pointing it out. I wasn't sure if it was a bug or a limited time event. If it is happening with other reward cars then for sure it's a bug. I remember getting Agatha's Paragon R on PS4.

A thing about the virtue that went unnoticed, aside from the fact that you still can't use sticky in them, you now can't shoot at all in remote control car mode, which was possible before.
The fact that he mention the Expanded and Enhanced really put a smile in my face. So many ppl forget about PC and Im sick of it. I also want those speedy cars and stuff. The customizations and all. The graphic overhauls. But no..after years, still nothing. I really hope at THE VERY LEAST that it drops either this or middle of next year. If not, Idk if Imma be playing GTA much longer. You know, it's crazy how this managed to beat Arena Wars and LSDW as the worst DLC's, truly impressive.
The craziest thing is the best part of this update was a hot fix that's years past date (the cannon nerf). This update shows that Rockstar has fully clocked out, or redirected all their recourses to GTA 6, but that's no excuse.
Thought it was known at this point that Rockstar assigned a small team for GTA Online whereas the rest is working on GTA VI. I think this was confirmed years ago by someone on GTAForums, but basically that's the reason why the small GTAO team sucks lol
That's a shame at this point the quality of life updates are more important than the content updated.

If they truly clocked out on this game then they should grow a fucking spine and come out to say that they're ending DLC support for this game and now are all hands on deck with VI.

Their lies about streamlining the websites become even more obvious when you take into account that they didn't even remove the topless versions of the Coquette Classic and Banshee on legendary, which are of course the exact same cars as the regular versions. Adding/removing the roof is a tuning option.
Also of course it was crucial to remove the Comet from Benny's as that wasn't already one of the sites with the least amount of stock.
Another (but minor) grievance I have with the MonstroCiti is that you can't change the license plates on it.
I did actually mention that. I don't consider it a minor grievance tbh, it's annoying it was overlooked. Speak to the lack of quality control.

That car is just so weird, it's a ImaniTech car that can also have HSW mods, it comes with BP windows as standard but somehow it doesn't have a dedicated map blip like all the other ImaniTech vehicles with BP windows have, also no reinforced armor which means that it blows up with one RPG or Grenade...

Like I said in the video, the reinforced armour is associated with the roll cage modification. It’s there but not in its own category. It’s a mess of a car tbh
It's a 2 door version of the Rumpo Custom like all of the other vehicles with bullet-resistant windows that were added with the Gun Running dlc where the armor is more of a visual effect like the Arena vehicles and the Paragon R. I've had zero issues running the Armored Tampa whose dual driver operated mini guns make short work of NPCs despite being vulnerable to a single rocket
U know when broughy cusses it litterally tells u that this game not only has pissed him off but pissed the whole community off.
I think, they´re trying to figure out, how much they can push, before the community will push back.
Another possibility is testing content and psychological systems for GTA6.
Also, there is high possibility, the game content is now made by novice programmers (widespread issue throughout the industry nowadays), who lack understanding, how the game is coded, which leads to appearances of those game-breaking bugs.
Or the online component for GTA VI is being designed to be a lot more reliant on grinding pay-to-win machanics from the get-go, so by watering down GTA Online new players won't know that it used to be better.
Same thing happened with the multiplayer part of GTA IV, it was a LOT more fun simply because you could just log on and have fun without any paywalls.
GTAO had BS grinding for years too, still kinda does for new players
I wouldn't be surprised if a large majority of the best programers left after the 2+ years of "crunch time" work scheduling for Red Dead 2. Last quarter, or even last 2 quarters crunch has been a thing for a long time, but R* took it to a new level with over 8 quarters of 80+ hours a week on salary pay.
This update by itself has killed all my interest in the game. Finally, to be honest - it has been a long run.
I'm a solo player mostly because I liked gta online for the collector aspect. It was fun for me to role play a criminal with too much money at their disposal and so was also as an exotic car collector. It was why I subscribed to your channel: for the information on car performances before I purchased them. So, the removal of so many cars at one go from being purchased (with the obvious intention of introducing FOMO) has stripped what I enjoyed about GTA Online from the game. Plus, I liked to use the jets pre-update, both Lazer and Hydra, not to grief other players, but for goofing off with cops in freemode. Picking off their cruisers and keeping 5 stars for as long as possible. It reminded me of the old rampaging I used to do on III era gta games. That too is more or less gone with the update.
Sucks that the jet cannons all suck now because people were griefing hard after the oppressor nerf 🤦🏾♂️. I'm kinda getting over always online games because your fun is always dictated by people who are dicks if you think about it.
This update really has now finally pushed it over the line for me and I have now quit this game. I feel ashamed for having hope in this company. It is a disgrace to the gaming industry and really highlights so many things wrong with the gaming industry.
The problem is they will get away with it because the majority of the people/community just don’t give enough of a f*ck to actually notice what is going on or even more, then actually care to do anything against it and stand up for themselves…

Yeah mate good on ya. Quit this game long ago and it is the best thing I could’ve done. The game used to be so much fun, but the cancerous community + the relentless grind and overall exploitative business practices from Rockstar Has genuinely made it a chore to play. You are right too: the majority will keep playing which will tell Rockstar they can treat their fans like trash and they’ll come back for seconds. Really disappointing, however it can’t be helped.

Not much really. Afaik the last major scream for help from the community to the devs was about the account deletion exploit caused by mod menus on the PC version. Despite the gravity of the situation it still took them atleast 2 weeks to fix the issue. I doubt they will respond in a helpful manner in this case.

my biggest annoyance with this mission is the third angels mission where you dogfight a bunch of jets, helicopters and 2 avengers, everything else isn't that bad but the FUCKING AVENGERS have for some reason what feels like a million health, 2 rockets from the jet doing bugger all damage to it and they also have the explosive cannons that basically one shot you
Not sure if anyone said this yet (aside from DarkViperAU of all people): Rockstar silently removed over 200 Adversary Mode jobs in the last few hours, & they are completely inaccessible, because they also removed the ability to play delisted jobs via old playlists, which means delisted contact missions, delisted races, etc. are completely inaccessible. They somehow made an update so bad, it's attracted the attention of news outlets who have never even played GTAO before, & yet their commenting on the massive outrage that Rockstar is getting.

In the Experience Improvements newswire article, they said that the prop limit on PC is gonna get raised to 300. Well, unfortunately, this change has not been made, but what's disappointed me the most is that line in the article was deleted! A last-minute decision reversal on something that would've been quite significant for creators...
Fixing the browsing experience would've been as simple as implementing a search bar. But no, im now not allowed to buy cars that I actually want now. Hats off to this woeful update

One thing to add is that about a year ago they buffed the nightclub, making it generate money faster and increased the safe capacity. And they added 2 very quick and easy mini missions to gain popularity. With this update they've put some kind of cooldown on the mini missions. Idk exactly how long, but you used to be able to do them over and over repeatedly and now you cant.
Its very annoying anytime they make positive changes and add missions, businesses or activities that actually give you enough money to be worth doing, they end up quietly nerfing them. Like changing the payphone hit cooldown from 15 to 45 minutes.

I did notice that during the doomsday heist and the cayo perico heist some things were missing. The first doomsday heist where you're talking to the agent on his phone, he's gone and doesn't show up anymore.
They honestly could've ended with the Criminal Enterprise DLC. But then nobody would have a reason to buy GTA+ anymore if there's no content to spend money into.
We are few but, we also want a feature to remove clothing items we don't want/need from our character's wardrobe.
I've been asking this for years.
GTA 5 online mode wasn't originally created to support a huge online community and service, Rockstar even imagined GTAO could become so huge.
So after many DLCs, many of them adding a property in the game and other different things, it has broken the code, causing a lot of bugs and conection malfunction.
they had 10 years and the income from the best selling entertainment product in history to fix it, expectations at the start are a terrible excuse for this case

Wow. The final nail in the coffin came years ago for me, but this is just laughably absurd! How did Rockstar end up like this? I never could have predicted this, as someone who used to play their games obsessively. They were so reliable. GTA 4 Online was the best online experience I've ever had. I feel that the majority of game design decisions in GTA 5 Online make no sense whatsoever XD ... and have made it unplayable for me, personally.
I remember the chaos GTA V was in the transitional period between 360 and Xbox One round 2014-2016. The updates functioned and gave new content; modded goofy missions worked well with legit ones and it made for endless ridiculous hours bouncing between a race then a modded deathmatch that could break your game. I ultimately retired my GTA Online account in 2018-'19 when just about everyone I knew had parted ways, and I saw that the "golden age" of Online was coming to an end ,as prices were skyrocketing, players became bigger griefers, and the grinds went from: fun to we were nearly melting down in pure fury when even a slight bad judgement call happened. I don't regret not looking back on it and I will just embrace what I had done in it. I had a modest account, and I mainly just helped friends, who spent a lot more time grinding than I choose to, which I was fine with. I began playing Online in 2013 and it feels unbelievable it's been a decade since and Online did not age well and it's frustrating to see a company collapse in just one development cycle of one of their games.
I started playing GTA online on PS5 recently with my partner. We enjoyed what GTA online has been. Nightclub popularity money was increased on next gen, the Agency was a great way to make money occasionally and everything was going fine. We actually had a blast playing even if it was just freemode.
When I noticed they removed almost 200 cars to "improve the browsing experience" (Sorry, I meant "to make yet another cash grab"), I said I don't want to play this game anymore. I uninstalled it from my console immediately, being super upset with what was going on.
Later my partner asked if we could do our daily spin one last time to set an end to our daily spin tradition. Tears fell when I said I had already uninstalled it and that I'm done with the game.
A longer while ago, my partner wanted me to get a certain dress from the Casino. I said I'm not much into dresses but eventually bought it just from the chips I gathered through our daily spins and said I will eventually create a nice outfit with it, which never happened until this DLC dropped.
I installed it again on the same day the update launched after feeling extremely bad and guilty. I told my partner to wait at the Casino, I need to do something. Right before I came back, I said that I had a promise to keep and fulfil. We started crying and gave the game and Rockstar our final minutes of playtime.
Anyway, GTA 5 online has been fun. Over 2500hrs combined, a million laughed out tears.. and two (probably hundreds of thousands) broken hearted players at the end.

I really appreciate the relatively chill tone you kept throughout the entire video, including the final part where you show comprehension towards those 5 Rockstar employees trying to keep the boat afloat while having to comply with the board's shitty decisions.
Many other players and content creators would have probably sounded furious all throughout the footage, rightfully so, were they to make a video about this DLC, but I feel like keeping a tone of "not mad, just disappointed" is way more impactful and shows how serious and mature we are about it, and how much we still do really care about the game, rather than going apeshit and being dismissed by the Rockstar higher-ups as whiny crybabies as they keep tasking their subjects with shoveling crap down our throat with no remorse.

I think these changes to the creator might have been (at least temporarily) reverted on PC. I've heard from PC creators today that their tracks with dev accessed props are working for the time being. I hope this will stay and is a tiny light in the tunnel, but knowing r*, they will probably find a way to make it even worse. Oh, and by the way this wasn't mentioned in the video, but PC was supposed to get in the creator 300 props and 30 removals (instead of 200+20) as stated in the newswire post, but they deleted that part from it and we still haven't got it. By far the worst GTA DLC released, I'm switching to sim and real life racing and definitely not coming back. Maybe in GTA 6

My issue is the left both the banshee and topless versions on the website. Surely only required one version as lsc offers a chance to add or remove the roof. But they removed both voltic and rapid gt versions.
The writing is on the wall for Gta6. We have spent years looking forward to it & now I doubt I'll waste the money. Gta+ will be a must have for serious players. I'd rather spend the money on a PC & enjoy FiveM.

As far as the creator, one thing I've always wanted to do for years is create a race where you start with a wanted level. I've tried so many different ways to get a wanted level on two players in the race, even going as far as to try to force players to run over explosive tanks near pedestrians and hopes that they'll get a star and don't end up losing it before the cops can even catch up to them. Why won't Rockstar at this feature? Why? Just make a good game. All I want to do is play GTA and have it be good.
They're getting away with this because they don't have any competition. If you want to play a game like GTA, where else are you really going to go? We need somebody to make a game that's open world and very similar to GTA and GTA online, but do it right without all the greed, and I guarantee you they will make more money than ROCKSTAR
