So, I'm in the guard, (first mistake), but for those who have been out of AIT for a hot minute, how would you recommend retaining the skills that we gained in AIT
I peep you playing battlefield 4. The commander mode is pretty much the reason I wanna do 35F. But I know it’s not in real-time. You just prefocus on what could happened. It’s up to the commander to do their job like it’s commander mode in bf4 THAT and Code Geass (anime show 🤫)
Bailey Oliver You should be a 13B, that's what I am and my first duty station is in germany (camp vilseck) I knew a lot of people from ait who got stationed in hawaii or europe
As of rn HIGH, because the travel ban, most people have been pcs to places in the US since you can’t ship overseas at the moment. Once they lift the travel ban there will be a high demand overseas. Especially for airborne
Robert greene has a book called the 33 laws of war, mixes a lot of people like Sung Zu and That one Italian guy and more if you want to learn a little bit more

Crazy how I graduated 35F AIT in January, headed to airborne school and now I’m not making it to a unit for the foreseeable future cause of the travel ban. Hope I remember how to do my job even a little bit by then lol
I am a prior service NCO 15R in the guard and I'm about to get my DD368 and reclass in active duty as a 35F. Do you have any advice on what I can expect at AIT?
It will be almost exactly like a normal duty day on active duty for you. PT 0545-0630 (depending on the unit prior service/reclass don’t even do PT at all) Class 0800-1130, 1245-1630. No obligations for anything in the off duty hours. I don’t even think y’all do CQ, it’s a pretty sweet gig for reclassers
@@MaCoop3r I’m nearing the end of the course right now. It’s been ROUGH to say the least. Lots of info is thrown at you all at once. But it’s doable if you don’t mind losing a few brain cells. But then again it might be easy for you. I don’t catch on to things very quickly but you more than likely will. It’s definitely worth it.

Read the doctrine, read all the ADPs, ATP, JP that and volunteer for deployments
I’m active and haven’t used anything I learned from Davis Hall in my Army career 😂

You might go to Korea or Germany.
I graduated in February, and very few went overseas. (Korea, Germany, and one to Belgium) I’m stationed in Hawaii, myself!

Dylan V it’s all good man! You’ll learn on the job. I would just read up on IPB 1-4
Unfortunately chances are that you’ll never have the opportunity to actually do your job
