    Problem with this pipeline is that it is too short. They kept on shortening and shortening the goodfellow portion to the point that it is worthless. Jcac is just a intro crash course into cyber, the first half is weeding out people while the second half is actual training. They need a follow-on intel course to apply those cyber concepts to the trade. The other branches send their guys to ft Gordon for follow-on training to get better grasp what they are actually doing. However, I don't regret coming into this field, even better on the guard side.

      My challenge, Officer Training School (OTS) applicants will take the Air Force Officer Qualification Test (AFOQT). OTS applicants can annotate up to four AFSCs. Classification is based on the qualifying degree and in all cases the undergraduate (BS/BA) degree is the qualifying degree for classification; exception, applicant does not possess an undergraduate degree but has a Graduate (Masters, Doctorate) degree. Once selected, applicants are classified based on the needs of the Air Force, their desires and qualifications and the availability of their AFSC choices. IF selected you will receive one of the careers that YOU requested. You will then take your physical exam to confirm that you are medically qualified to join the Air Force and that career. You may view our career fields the Air Force has to offer using this link. Each page will provide a career description, if it is an Enlisted, Officer and Health Professions career & career requirements: www.airforce.com/careers/browse-careers
      To be eligible to apply for Officer Training School (OTS) one must be a US citizen, have ANY baccalaureate degree or be within 365 days of graduating (a senior), you must have earned a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
      Officer Training School (OTS) is a selection process. Just applying does not guarantee being selected. OTS is very competitive. Applicants are considered on a best-to-least qualified basis.

      Steve, you must live in the United States or an area that has an Air Force recruiter. Enlistment into the U.S. Air Force by citizens of countries other than the United States is limited to those foreign nationals who are legally residing in the United States and possess a U.S. Citizenship or non US citizens must have an Immigration Services (U.S.C.I.S) Registration Card (INS Form I-551 -- Commonly known as a "Green Card". The green card must be a 10 year green card and with an expiration date greater than 2 years from the date of issue. Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 39 years old, must speak, read and write English fluently to apply to join the Air Force. The Air Force does not bring applicants to the United States to join. You must get to the United States legally on your own and complete all immigration processing to obtain your Green Card on your own. The Air Force does not help.

      Hatred, your Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test scores, physical exam, citizenship and moral standards determine your job/career qualifications. Until you have taken BOTH your ASVAB test and completed your physical exam. The Air Force does not know what jobs/careers you would qualify for.
      For example: you scored an 81 on your Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) score and find out during your physical exam at Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) and you find out that you are red & green deficient during your eye exam or some other medical issue. So you do not qualify for any EOD, Special Warfare, flying careers, SERE, electrical or mechanical jobs, Security Forces, Fire Protection, etc.

    As a former intelligence instructor, this new 1N2 is not sufficient in the Goodfellow phase! Industry has students that are more knowledgeable before they take such courses, and Industry trains for a total of 14-plus months. The field units will not provide proper training that Air Force (SAF) continues to use. This career field is really a follow on training course that had less material to cover with a 100-day duration. This only produces a “dangerous” analyst to be sent into the field. The Army is just starting with their course being 25-weeks and 20-weeks.

    Would love to truly know how the rated enlisted and commissioned aircrew communities honestly feel about their Air Force handing out top of the stack "cyber wings" to non-flying ground-based airmen. As has already been said, an AFSC Badge yes would suffice, ...but wings? Not so much. If this is only being done by the Air Force (and I really do not have any idea on how the Space Force is doing things) to be able to get top talent recruits to enlist for a hitch that's nice, but then why not hand out some form of "wings" to everyone? This dilutes for all the rated AFSC's the privilege, honor, flying dangers, and the tradition to earn their wings.

    Don't tell them what will happen to their families if you want them to get trapped into Military Service. My Sarasota class President ExHubby thought it made sense to join the Air Force to get his Predator Dad to sign off on our marriage at 17. That resulted in his early death as CIA Minister at 57. Think twice before you make this move, please! Your families will be targeted for life, it appears. His 2nd wife's house burned down after he told our sons he was CIA at deathbed. Sarasota got really weird after that. Just sayin...👀

    • @why55555
      @why55555 3 года назад +1

      I further believe it is possible that his loser Dad sold his high IQ son's genetic material to the Military to experiment on in exchange for Businessman favors. He was a Store owner in Baltimore suburb & had highly suspicious history. Bob had famous bloodline & I believe the military may have experimented on how to kill him so early. Lord knows they were fascinated by my blood the minute I became pregnant. IDK. I would have to talk to his 2nd wife who has hated me for 39 yrs (IDK why) to get real info, though. That's not going to happen, she won't let any of her daughters or military grandkids come near Florida.🤷‍♀️

      @Gucci Chan Cool from your chair, maybe. Really not anything that brings any value here as my family acts as if it is inconsequential. I guess they are unable to begin to process the implications. I am now the family scapegoat/black sheep & whip it dummy because I speak words against the System in their bizarro mind wiped status now. My open mouth causes them discomfort in their cognitive dissonance gland, lol. I no longer recognize my sons & grandsons I was so close to all their lives. I have lost everything, including my mom's home here in Sarasota. Sarcastic is my attitude that refuses to be ground into the dirt. Flipping into a higher timeline to escape this realm is my highest hope, I guess. Thx for seeing me. I am invisible to most because of issues I choose to highlight that oppose Sarasota profits. Hello! I’ve reached out to the AF recruiting office near my zip code & haven’t heard back anything regarding enlisting for Cyber with the Space Force or Air Force and Space Force definitely hasn’t reached back out yet. I’ve scored an 85 on the ASVAB. & I’m currently a Cybersecurity student at my local college with few Certs completed for Cybersecurity, as well. I initially started my process with Navy however, I want to switch and complete MEPS Physical/Moral with Space Force or Air Force. Preferably SF. Please assist! I’m starting to have a change of heart slightly. 🫤😂

      @bellajade777 So that we may better assist you, which program (not job) are you interested in… active duty (full time job), or the Air Force Reserve/ Air National Guard (part-time job)?
      Active duty is a full time job with full benefits and the opportunity to be stationed in other states or even other countries.
      Reserve and Air National Guard (ANG) are normally part-time jobs with partial pay and partial benefits and normally where you currently live; you do not move.
      They each have different processes and recruiters. But they have the same requirements as active duty.
