P willy!!! Bro! Your videos are amazing and you should consider doing talk shows or getting into radio. Your voice is amazing for that! Maybe even voice acting!
Definitely. 3 years in the Army set me up better than I could have imagined. Can't say I really enjoyed my time in, but the end goal was well worth it.
SOOOOO happy you're back!!! I wish this video could be shown to all high school seniors. Very proud of you and everything you did while in. Btw... my daughter is in the Army, over 2 years now, she's single and very beautiful (wink, wink). Right now she's doing a rotation in Europe. Currently in Romania, I just hope she's safe. I already know she's having some fun WITHOUT ME!! lol Anyway, I'm glad you're back on You Tube and I agreed with your thoughts you shared. Very honest and to the point without any sugar coating. Thank you for that and your service. I look forward to hearing more from you :)
Hey man! so awesome to see you back. Your videos were actually the deciding factor in me deciding to join the Army. I am about to hit my 3 year mark which is crazy and I will have 2 years left I think you were completely spot on about every topic. Although the Army has been difficult, I don’t regret joining as it has set me up for life in the best way possible and I am miles ahead of my peers from high school. I put 20% into my TSP and I think it definitely is not made a priority by incoming Soldiers who can’t see the bigger picture as far as retirement goes. I just PCSd to Fort Myer, VA and joined The Old Guard after having spent the past 2 years at Fort Drum with the 10th Mountain Division. I’m a 46S (Public Affairs) so I’m trying to use those skills and translate them into a career doing sports photography. I’m super glad you are back and I’m looking forward to seeing more videos. I think it’s awesome to see that you are doing well outside of the Army and gives me something to look forward to.
Nice to see you again. Your videos helped me chose 35F 3 years ago and it looks like i followed quite the similar path as you. Spent a year in Korea, then year at fort riley, now I'm in poland on rotation.
I entirely enlisted as a 35F because of you, got a good first assignment at a division level unit which actually does analysis. Got some good certifications and training while also getting to work with some 3 letter agencies.
For some reason I was curious what you were doing now. I found your channel when my son was joining up. Still good content. I agree with what you said pretty much 100. I joined up because I was working in a factory making fairly good money. I realized I didn't want to go to college at the time or wasn't sure how. So I figured I will do 4 yrs and see how it goes. Did 4 & 4 reserve, wish sometimes I had stayed reserve for the retirement. Gave me a place to have fun and grow up met some great friends. I unfortunately wasted most of the money when I started going out drinking. I always had money though even with a car payment and insurance and was sending money home
remember i watched ur videos the day i signed up for 19D. those three years were so quick. i miss it like crazy now but i’m glad i’m out and glad i went.
@pwill… off topic question. Interested in 35F, qualified on ASVAB ect.. my question is about the TS. Did you have to have your final TS before AIT? And also, is there a poly needed for the TS? Thanks
No poly. from my experience, you could enter AIT with an interim clearance, but you had to have it by the time AIT was over. If you graduated AIT and had not yet obtained your final clearance, they would keep you at AIT as a “security hold” or holdover until your final clearance was complete. Had a few guys who were in AIT as graduates but holdovers for a couple months until their clearance came through
Thanks for the fast response brother!! I currently have a secret clearance, DOD contractor for Navy. Was in the Air Force when I was younger, and now looking to go Army Guard. Where I live 35 is in high demand. How is civilian world? Are you using your clearance as a contractor?
Hey Will, I appreciate your advice on the Army. I am about to enlist as a 35F and there is not much information out there. What is the average day like ? Also what are the chances of being deployed overseas?
@@PWill can u give me any idea what you would have done differently, i'm about to join and would love to hear what else u might have done? Air force? Logistics/medical/etc? Thx!

I'm working on perfecting the audio & video as I get back into the swing of things, but do you agree with my thoughts? Disagree? Let me know!
Would u have done air force or another branch in hindsight?

Would you recommend 35F as a mos?
Hey Will, I appreciate your advice on the Army. I am about to enlist as a 35F and there is not much information out there. What is the average day like ? Also what are the chances of being deployed overseas?
Day in the life videos on the channel; deployments depend on unit not really mos, but rn slim to none other than training rotations to Europe
@@PWill thanks, definitely going to check those out.
Do you keep your TSC once you leave the army as an MI?
For a brief period, maybe 3 years depending on your contract length. But it expires at some point not too long after ETS.

No
Not initially, but if you do some stuff you will end up getting a CI Poly at the least.
