Years back I was sleepy 24/7 Would sleep 18 hours, wake up and make it to the couch and fall right back asleep. No matter how much I slept it felt like I hadn't slept at all. I also had horrible sleep paralysis. Got diagnosed with narcolepsy. It took almost a year and many doctors until one finally tested my vitamin D and they said I pretty much had none at all. Was put on 50,000ius a day for a week and was a new person. Then I took 5,000ius a day after that and was completely back to normal within a month. It saved my life.

@@DayDreamer4011 Honestly, It took me about a week. It takes a bit of time to "Catch up" for the first time if you are deficient. You have to remember that Vitamin D isn't really a "Vitamin" so much as it is a hormone. Once your levels have caught up, the first thing that's usually noticed is that your muscle aches and nerve pain will improve as well as having a bit more energy. I have thyroid problems and pituitary problems, Vitamin D has been a life saver for me and keeping my endocrine system in check. You have to remember that our body has coping mechanisms and "Backup" hormones in case one organ or hormone gland stops creating the proper hormones our body needs to survive. Our adrenals for instance can mimic 99.999% of most of the hormones our body needs even, which is pretty cool! Vitamin D helps keep your immune system as well as your adrenals(and the kidneys they sit on top of!) strong.

I discovered nearly a year ago that my vitamin D levels were extraordinarily low. I'm a redhead and I live in Arizona, so I avoid going outside, especially when it's sunny (which, for this state, is most of the time). I got started on an vitamin D supplement, the same amount Joe is taking, 5,000 IUs. And it dramatically changed my life. I'd been dealing with depression for most of my adult life; gone. I'd been dealing with severe nerve pain; gone. My mental faculties felt like they were finally working properly again. I could control my temper, which had been an issue for years. As it turns out, vitamin D plays a lot of roles in your system, and if you are deficient, it can cause serious issues. Not just physical, but mental and emotional problems. That blood test was the smartest thing I've ever done. $120 out of pocket for a slew of tests that were important, and it changed my life for the better.

My wife spoke with a doctor at length when COVID19 appeared, mostly for my benefit due to lung disease. We started taking vitamins B complex, C, D, and zinc. We got COVID19 in January of 2022 and while it caused weakness, sore skin and difficulty wanting to eat, we didn't have any problems with lungs/breathing. I thought if I caught it I would probably die due to lung complications with my emphysema and COPD. While it took us 1-3 weeks to recover, none of us had the breathing complications that were so prevalent with COVID19. I attribute this to the vitamins my wife insisted that we have been taking for the last 18 months prior to our illness. This video confirms that the vitamins were instrumental in us surviving the disease with minimal complications.

I'm a very fair skinned white man in England. I work in an office for 60+ hours a week so I don't get much sunlight.
I've been supplimenting D3 at 10,000ui for about 2 years now with a magnesium suppliment (magnesium is a co-factor for D3 as it helps to activate the use of D3 in cells).
I've had no hmm side effects from this.
I have arthritis in my hands and fingers = gone after 1 month of the D3.
When I started I was suffering from depression - totally lifted my mood.
If I miss it for 3 or 4 days I find my mood drops and anxiety increases.
I've not had a cold or anything like that in 2 years, despite people around me at work getting covid again recently (although I've had 1 jab and 2 boosters since they came out).
I'm a strong believer in this.

Just got diagnosed with really low Vitamin D and I felt like shit for the whole time. Muscle pains, bone pains, mental fog etc - went to a doctor who told me to take the prescribed oral supplements and get as much sunlight as possible. Took the first dose and already seeing moderate improvements to everything, Vitamin D definitely deserves the attention its getting. This combined with the fact that around 50% of all cases generally go undiagnosed is pretty wild.

I was severily vitamin D deficient. Before finding this I was suffeirng from depression and generalized somatised anxiety and. I did all blood work, cardiology and nephrology tests possible. 2 years of pain and immense stress. One day a cardiologist ask me to do some vitamin tests. Potassiu, Magnesium and Vitamin D (25 hydro). All OK but the vitamin D was 14. This is bad because normal is 40-70. I work for years inside an office and I do not have time to go outside. I eat healthy and I was considering it is enough. It was not,. The sun is irreplaceable. I received a prescription for 4k units per day for few months. Guess what: My depression is no more. My anxiety is SO MUCH BETTER. My heart palpitations are gone. No more panic attacks! I feel optimistic. GOD BLESS THAT DOCTOR AND THE VITAMIN D!

Dude….I just found out today I’m deficient and thinking back to both times I had Covid, I felt like I was dying. My breathing was so bad…my partner was so scared for me. I’ve had nonstop sinus infections for 2 years now, complete sinus surgery (8 hours) and the infections persist. And I’m not talking about a little bit of sinus congestion, mine always turn into bronchitis or pneumonia. Antibiotics help but within a week of finishing them the infection is back. After my last go with Covid, I suffered with major breathing problems. I was put on symbicort. No one fkn checked my blood for vitamin d until I started showing symptoms of lupus, as it runs in my family. I go to a rheumatologist and she was the one who ran ALL the tests. 8 vials of blood, pee and a chest X-ray. Vitamin D deficiency. I have other health problems that have popped up over the last 2 years and I strongly believe this is why. I haven’t been able to go in the sun either bc of lupus like skin rashes, caused by sun exposure.
I cannot thank the algorithm enough for putting this video in my feed today. Joe you’re the best. Same with your pretty guest. ☺️

It is the cofactor(like the backbone) of all dna. The National Institute of health did a study of lead in bones. One group took magnesium one group took placebo. Over time the magnesium group extracted the lead from the bones into the urine and out the body. The NIH lead in bones and magnesium study is public and online. . It sheds the body of heavy metals. It’s only been two months for me, but I started taking 4,000iu per day back on 12/23... ended up getting Covid on 1/4 and it was very very mild. On top of that, pre vitamin D I was exhausted every day and literally going to bed right after work at 5PM. For the past two months, my energy and mood have been amazing. I’m awake and productive til midnight now every day.
Could be a coincidence, but I’m definitely sticking with it for now.

Been taking 8000iu of vitamin d3 (among other vitamins) since January 2021. In October 2021 my wife was hospitalised for 2 weeks with severe covid-19 but survived and very luckily didn’t go on a ventilator. We tested her d3 level when she came out and it was 185nmol/l so we certainly believe it helped her to survive.

There's probably underlying deficiencies she also had if her symptoms were bad enough to be hospitalized.

Im watching this video late but i personally believe she is 100% right. From my own experience I had an injury in the gym and i did everything i could to make it heal and all my methods failed. My diet was alright so i figured i could only be deficient in maybe a couple of vitamins. Next I did some research and figured out what was different in my life from before which was I stopped going outside in the sun like I used to. So I started taking a new immune builder/ multivitamin with 4,000iu of vitamin D and the injury went away in three days I was even around someone who had covid for several hours face to face and i didnt catch it so thats why i believe her and this was well over a year ago.

When I was taking vit d daily I caught the covid and flu but i got back up in under a week. When I stopped and now winter hit again this has been the worst and longest sickness I've ever gotten for awhile. I megadosed vit d today and hopefully it helps

take 45 minutes to 1 hour of sunlight while your upper body is fully naked, I think this should be enough, I am a brown person and I do this every day for 30 minutes a day.
or just take those vitamin D pills every day.
everything should be fine. Also don't be depressed at all. Do everything that you want to be happy and give zero fuck to anyone who make you depressed. we need this kind attitude under this pandemic.

Having celiac disease About 6 years ago I was found to be very vitamin D deficient. My doctor put me on 5,000 and then 10,000 units a day until my levels were sufficient. I didn’t know about the negative affects of low vitamin D until last year when I saw someone speaking about it. From personal experience I noticed a significant drop in catching the common cold, like from 3 to 4 during the winter months to none in 5 years. Also I no longer had lung infections even when I had the flue a couple times in the past 5 years. Prior to taking vitamin D I had severe lung infections where I would have to be on a steroid inhaler to get the inflammation out of my lungs. Believe me, vitamin D works!!!
