- In our final chapter of the series, we land on the most epic island helipad on Quirpon Island, Newfoundland. We end off the trip photographing some amazing landscapes and take it all in before the long helicopter trek back to Buffalo.
We took a MASSIVE cross country helicopter trip in August where we flew our helicopter, the Millennial Falcon, back to our Canadian home province Newfoundland and Labrador. We will be releasing episodes of Cold Island, A Helicopter Travel Series every Sunday and Wednesday until Nov 13th! This is our largest video project (and helicopter trip) to date. Hope you enjoy it!

Man, I do not have words to explain the feelings I have to be able to experience this series with you both. I know, that might sound a little creepy lol but holy cow guys. Here’s my day when a new video comes out. I work in a not nice place far away from home. I check RUclips when I take a break and when I see your video on my list, I make sure to plug my iPAD in to charge and then head back to work. After work, I walk to the chow hall to grab a snack and a couple sodas and walk back to my room. The WiFi isn’t the best here so I set up RUclips and select 1080p and wait for it to load while I change clothes. I crack open the soda and press play.
The music hits me first. It’s a warm wave followed by the yummy colors and epic scenery of the Island. Yes, I said yummy. 😉. I’m surrounded by helicopters here. I am well aware of the freedom and utility they offer. Sometimes, nothing is more smile inducing than pulling pitch. Flying isn’t all fun and games. Every hour of flight, requires dozens of maintenance, planning, and training hours. I know your videos are a result of similar ratio. I appreciate the effort and the art.

What not to love in this series. It’s not only about the amazing landscape but also the visual organism of cinematography, the editing, colour pallet, camera angles, sound editing and music selection. Just role on the next one. You know that you just invented a new genre, the high end production, helicopter travel vloger. How are you going to keep up to that? No, don’t tell us, just show us.
