Hello! I'm watching from Tempe, Arizona. I enjoy trying different bread recipes. I am excited to try yours. I'll let you know. Plus living for 100 years, I like that. I'm almost there. I am 73 now.
Looks very beautiful. Please, do not FRY any natural seeds you put in as ingredients. Reason: Frying or heating of any kind changes the natural oil structure making it carcinogen. Eat natural seeds raw, soaked in water for 30 min. And never heat them up.
Greetings from Utah in the Western United States. This looks delicious! I never thought of putting lentils in bread. I'm excited to try making this. Your other bread recipes look good too. I just found this channel. Thank you for your delicious recipe ideas. Many blessings! 😊
Hello, If you make it will you let us know what the flavour is like compared to bread made with eg. Wheat or oats? I like the idea but I'm nervous to try it ;)
Ah, the adventure of novel idea I am going to apply. It looks like a healthy choice. Watching from Washington State. Thanks for posting your genius idea.
I’m watching from Charlottetown Prince Edward Island Canada. I’m very excited to try this recipe. What if you wanted to use canned green lentils? How would you change the recipe? I would want to do that because that would decrease the lectins in the lentils. It’s 9:30 pm here.
hi again from Australia where we grow millions of tons of lentils too but not the red ones. Thank you for sharing this fine example of your work. Have saved this video to make the bread in future.
Hi from Qld.. Hunt around for organic red lentils...they are available..also I would break the pumpkin seeds up to let out the oils... Also for us oldies ..big seeds are a pain....literally...🌏🦘
I'm sure the green or yellow lentils will work just as well as red ones. Probably find you can add all sorts of other things to the mix aside from pumpkin and sunflower seeds (like chia, flax, and for a nice spicy twist - some Nigella and/or onion seeds too). Treat this like your basic go-to recipe and let your imagination experiment, sounds like lots of other people have various additional ideas already. 😊
I followed the recipe except added 1 cup lentil flour instead of grinding 3/4 cup lentils. Added 1 cup oats because the mixture was too wet. Added 1tbs baking powder and replaced psyllium with 2 1/2 tbs chia seed and 2 1/2 tbs flax seed as I don’t have psyllium. Resulting mixture still not as firm but baked and it came out ok and tasted very nice.
A truly "glorious recipe" that is easy-to-follow, containing incrediby healthful ingredients (from a Suburb of Chicago, Illinois, USA)! I am sure my American-born wife (of 100% German descent) will highly enjoy this bread! You are a genius and I thank so much for sharing.
Great recipe, can’t wait to try it. Thank you for creating this recipe. You can add sweet or savory spices also. I think I will soak the lentils to reduce gas bloating. I am from Bermuda

Thank you, this is delicious, a flour free game changer. Cooked in the slow cooker on high for 2.5 hours due to my dodgy gas oven. Truly versatile, and appreciated.
How lovely of you to share. Am definitely going to make bread this week! Love the added crunch of seeds. Use both pumpkin and sunflower seeds daily. I do have a question…. I would love to make this for an elderly, diabetic in nursing home with very few teeth. Would I have to make adjustments to other ingredients ie water if I were to toast the seeds, as described, but then process in blender…adding to batter?
I think if you blend them to a paste it's likely to affect the consistency, but in the video it's a very stiff mixture, so maybe it would be ok to try that.
Wow, this is such a creative and healthy recipe! I love how you managed to make bread without flour or soaking lentils. Definitely trying this out soon-thanks for sharing such an innovative idea! 🌟🍞
Looks so good and natural. Mmmmm love it - wish I had a slice with butter, honey, cheese, Vegemite and of course the bread mildly toasted. Great with a cup of PNG coffee. ❤️🌺

You should trade the vegetable oil for olive or avocado oil and live 105 years ;)
Thanks for the recipe!
Yes, olive, avocado or coconut.
Exactly what I was thinking, vegetable oil is not made from good veggies. It’s mostly chemicals
It is olive oil !
@@aprilapril2olive oil should never be heated

@@erinkelly5721 Yo creo que si tienes un deshidratador que controle la temperatura puedes realizar el remojo y secado con tranquilidad!
But when you bake the loaf you are heating the seeds.
But, the seeds are heated as the bread bakes, right?
So does that mean not to bake this bread with seeds in it?

But I like soaking the lentils. For reason, when they're soaked, they don't cause as much bloating....
Great point. I will do the same. Thanks for the input.
It is also good and hygienic to rinse and "clean' the grains we consume.
Especially if you soak with a little apple cider vinegar ( works with all beans, neutralizes lectins)
Are u able to still grind the lentils if the are soaked?
I soak them, then use an immersion blender to kind of puree them...
