Yeah, that flerken B-story is very tacked-on and seems to purely exist to give Nick Fury and the Khan family something to do while they wait for the A-story to get back to them. It does make for a couple of fun sequences, but it's so entirely inconsequential to the main story and has no real stakes at all. This is one of the things that contributes to it feeling more like an episode of television to me than a movie. And the Khan family are one of the highlights of the movie - it just would have been better if their contribution to the second and third acts felt cohesive. The first act is really solid. I've described it as Ms. Marvel Episode 7: The Movie, because that's what this feels like. And given that you dropped off Ms. Marvel after a couple of episodes, that's clearly not gonna be enough for you... or most viewers (not to single you out). I think the movie might find a lease of life when it comes to Disney+ and finds the younger audience that watched and loved Ms. Marvel but couldn't go see this in theatres. Bit nit-picky with the space-suit thing, mind. I hear you, but I don't think you need to suspend your disbelief very much to get over it. And given your other complaint about the movie over-explaining itself... do we really want or need an extra line in there saying it's because a space-suit weighed too much and is more like a vehicle than clothing, or that it's all about mass-displacement and the entangled masses of Monica, Kamala and Carol were roughly equivalent? Name any superhero movie, and I'm sure we can find something in need of an explanation that doesn't have one... (Tony Stark should have been liquified the first time he touched down in his Iron Man suit). I had fun, but it's one of only a few MCU movies I haven't been itching to go see again in a hurry. It really is sort of just an extended episode of Ms. Marvel. Kamala Khan is the best character and Iman Vellani absolutely shines. But the second and third act are progressively "meh"... until the final scene before the credits (not the post-credits scene that you talk about, but the one at the very end of the movie with the _other_ guest appearance). That may have been my favourite scene of the movie; a very fun callback that sets up something that I think is more exciting than the crossover hinted at by the mid-credits. Not the worst MCU movie by a long shot, but it is a total mess (moreso as it goes on) and could have done with some extensive rewrites before committing any frames to film.
Yeah the suit thing is certainly one of my nittiest of picks of the movie and I’m usually willing to let things slide, but it jumped out at me, didn’t need an explanation moreover a re-write, like the whole movie😜 Yeah it totally felt like an extended episode of something I wasn’t invested in. It felt like a film directed by someone who had seen lots of marvel films before and thought their worst/most run of the mill traits were the best things to take inspiration from. Cheers for the comment and the sub 👍🏻
@@carlosrivas1629 Hate is a strong word, I just thought it was meh. There are aspects of it I liked, and moreover within this is the makings of something that could have been REALLY good. But I stand by my criticism, it's very below par output from a studio I have a lot of respect for.

I actually enjoyed Loki too. The point of a film is to condense something longer into short form, case in point Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, so it really boils down to them taking better care, attention and time with these projects and not churning out 2-3 movies a year, it's produced mediocre results. Glad they've seen the light to clear the slate for 2024 and hopefully they can come back with more direction and quality.
So the villain has a weapon that was destroyed with Ronan and the stone removed and destroyed in endgame. The villain could of had Ronan's hammer (probably not). But she never would have had an infinity stone from this universe. Stupid concept. Don't watch this or madame web.
Not bad guy, bad girl/lady
Realised when I uploaded 🫣 antagonist is probably the most appropriate term 😜
