I think it's important to remember that people lose weight in different areas of their body too. When I was at my lowest weight 38kg/158cm (btw I don't recommend this weight, I was sick and this was years ago) my thighs were around 45-46cm. Her diet looks healthy and 46kg at her height for an Asian woman isn't uncommon, sure it's skinny but it's not unhealthy.
@@yumiko2985 because of height to weight ratio. Being Asian doesn’t make you more or less healthy, just less prone to obesity. The fact that we see 46kg as an acceptable weight is just insane! Look for BMI calculations and you’ll se that her BMI is around 17.3 (based on the assumption that she is 23) and a healthy weight should be between 18.5 and 25 which means she is quite underweight

In Japan, there are lots of girls being already “skinny but healthy” and most of them are brainwashed to get skinnier by losing their muscles. We might see lots of old ladies who are not able to walk by themselves in the future.. it’s not about beauty standards anymore. I’m so sad that most of Japanese comments are giving applause for her. DO NOT MOTIVATE HER PLEASE! In the after she looked extremely underweight and in the before she looked skinny do not motivate people to do this otherwise it’s dangerous
To anyone watching, please don’t loose more weight if you’re already at a healthy weight! Gaining a few pounds is normal! Please don’t tire your body just to be satisfied with a certain number on the scale. And especially never starve yourself or go on very extreme diets, your metabolism will be ruined. Please seek professional help if you need to, or ask someone to talk. You can ask me! Please take care of yourself :(
If you look at her weightloss diary 1:57 (especially towards later days) she has been losing about an average of 0.4 kg a day translating to about 1lb lost per day. this is far from "healthy" weightloss as you are expected to only lose 1-2 lb per week on a healthy weightloss diet. This might be her bodily needs with of calories BUT let's not forget she is exercising and actively working (ie burning calories using her brain) which means that her muscles and organs will be deprived of essential nutrients if caloric intake was not increased gradually.
But the damage to her metabolism will still be there even if she switches and it will be easy to gain weight back after her diet and will likely form a vicious cycle :/
The pace at which you lose weight is usually genetic as it has to do with metabolism and also exercise though if you're losing 1kg unintentionally every night then I think you might need to ask a medical professional. Side note: weight loss can be very rapid if your starting weight is really high in which case you can lose about 1kg every 3 days but diets that involve being in a very low calorie deficit (often ending up in losing rapid amount of weight in a short amount of time with an average starting weight will likely result in a "yo-yo" effect as you will gain the weight back quickly.
What is up with the negative comment section? I'm sorry this vibe is NOT it. She is eating healthy, did you not see all the food she is eating. In fact, her portions are balanced and good. She is also looking after other aspects of her body like skin care and oils. You are all getting unhealthy confused with goals. She has goals and wants to be the best she can, how about you all look in the mirror before complaining about a girl who is sharing her routine with you. Seriously.
women start to lose their muscle mass in their 30s, but to drastically reduce muscle mass (not fat!!) in your 20s is just crazy... the body will always eat away your protein first then fat. you want to grow muscle to maintain mobility in your older years. i weigh about 140lbs but am muscular since I do weights combined with Keto-IF. I still have fat but that's cuz I have a stressful job working in IT... hoping to change this slowly!!
Y'all, I ain't no doctor. But hear me out : her height is 163 cm (~5'4) and weighs 46,1 kg (~101.1 lbs) That means her BMI is 17.4... She is underweight. Please calculate your BMI using online tools and you'll see what's normal and what's not. This is unhealthy and putting yourself through this won't give you any benefits other than a cute look. Be cautious please. I'm not saying she's "pRoMoTinG" an unhealthy lifestyle because she does this for herself and doesn't encourage you guys to do it. She's just documenting her journey. But still. Be cautious. Edit : to those saying the BMI system us outdated... How about y'all provide some receipts? Respectfully. If the BMI is outdated then obesity doesn't exist anymore as BMI is the tool used to determine whether someone is obese or not?
BMI is not the only way to measure whether if you're healthy or not, tho it does mean something. In my case, I am Asian, my weight is 44kg, my BMI is 17.5 however, my body fat ratio is 35%. I had so much fat and very little muscle mass even tho I am underweight, I was fat! That's why I was dieting by consuming more protein, vegetables and not eating any unhealthy food. Diet is not just about eating less but also eating the right thing.
Exactly! There are a lot of Western people in the comments who argue that anyone who is under a BMI 19 is underweight. Asian people genetically hold more body fat at the same weight than white people. The "healthy BMI ranges from 18.5 to 25" only goes for white people. For Asian people, their body composition is vastly different and I'm quite sick of Western people coming here and spreading their nonsense.
Damn you’re right. I’m in the same boat as you. I’m underweight but I have high fat percentage which I’m trying to burn off now by going zero sugar , eating more veggies, fruits and eating more proteins than usual
@@AllahsServant12 sugar isnt always bad! As long as you eat the right sugar like the ones in fruits! But even then theres no harm in a small snack as long as its not excessive
@@flameepidemic4839 I get “allergic” to sugar when I consume it. My skin breaks up next day. It happened to me recently after I went zero sugar for 3 weeks and then had to break it at a special event by eating chocolates and ice cream. I got red inflamed skin with pimple on my cheeks next day. If this isn’t a sign, then I don’t know what is.
1. Check your weight everyday ( i personally dont recommend this) 2. Drink 2L of water a day (if possible) 3. Eat protein. 4. Record your progress in a journal. 5. Exercise 6. You can have sugar free, low calorie dark chocolate 7. Try not to eat carbs until you lose weight. 8. Take a half-body bath ( Don't ask me why its just in the video) 9. Massage ( y not?) 10. Have a sleeping pattern of 8+ hours daily.
I don't know if this is healthy. Instead of feeling restricted and stressed about dieting why not just eat balanced and workout a few times a week in a way you can enjoy life and being healthy...
the food seems to be balanced imo, and i'm just gonna go ahead and assume that she is working out. dieting isn't always inherently harmful. you have to maintain your weight depsite being healthy because can defintely gain weight while being healthy. she needs to gain weight though, she has a bmi of 17 and needs to at least be bmi 18 to be considered at a healthy weight.
I will just like to remind u guys that beauty standards are different everywhere I'm not stating my opinion or anything but it still ends up being the person's decision so pls don't give her hate cause she could be working out and we wouldn't know
@@kyralorene2534 I agree. And to be frank I’ve never seen beauty standards that require women to be that thin. I think she should’ve realized that too. Yet idk why she’s dieting, I think she fits the beauty standards already.
@@svalerie.001 most of them probably don’t even know what people with her current bmi look like. Mine is pretty similar and I definitely look underweight. This isn’t healthy when you are not naturally skinny
Girl try have a regular workout instead of dieting, I’m 167cm and 55kg. For me dieting decrease my weight (i was once 46kg too) but if I stop doing it I eventually bounced back to my weight lol. But if I do exercise and eat normally, I can maintain my weight around 50 kg. But idk every people might different.
Reading the comments (english ones), I can’t help agree to everyone’s points. However, we should also consider cultural differences in terms of ideal body types. Though the numbers say she is underweight, Japan (and many other, if not a majority) is a country where being and looking skinny is the ideal body type. You can be ostracized, heavily judged, and can have tons of pressure from friends, family, and society to look a certain way. We look at this from a western point of view, where our body type standards are more forgiving than Asia
So we should just ignore people's health just because of beauty standards? It's the standards that need to be changed, not people's appearance. If we just continue like this we will never get out of it. (sorry for my English)
@@Maria-sv2jo You guys should focus on bettering the beauty standards of your own country before pushing it onto an international one I think. You should conquer your own beauty standards and then you can move on to judge others, it’s hypocritical to judge a different beauty standard and strive for change in a foreign country when your own country is just as bad yk
@@chump.7326 Ok so for context, I Iive in Italy. Obviously there are beauty standards here, but I know for sure that people are more accepting of people's appearance, differently from other countries (for example Korea. Mind you: this is just an example). The thing is that I didn't just comment because I wanted to make something up to participate in a conversation, it's something said people (in this case, Korean people) have said themselves: there are so many people calling out the toxicity of their own country's standards.
@@Maria-sv2jo I live/lived in both the US and Vietnam. For context: Vietnam has the lowest bmi in women in the world. And with that, I have experienced some of the worst fat-shaming at a BMI of 21 (which in the US is a size small and in Vietnam is a size XXL) While I realize that people *are* calling out their countries beauty standards, that does not necessarily mean that it is changing it. I feel like the japanese individuals are free to criticize their own beauty standards (which they have movements for already and are working to change) but that foreigners need to understand that it is not their fight to win. While I understand expressing concerns or prefacing that other people shouldn’t diet extremely, I don’t think the English speakers who are telling everyone that the standard is gross or disgusting are in the right. Change takes time, and it only comes from the people who the standards are put on, not outsiders. I’ve noticed in Vietnam that when foreigners butt in, it only made the girls want to be even thinner as to show them up
@bruh I don’t need anyone to tell me she’s unhealthy rn I can see it with my own eyes. Anyone saying she’s healthy clearly knows nothing about the human body.
As someone who had anorexia, this video is so toxic. If you want to treat your body like this, no one can stop you, but at least have the compassion not to share it online. This is pro ana stuff. To anyone reading this: a life of restricting calories, constantly weighing yourself, following strict rules and obsessing over how you look brings nothing but unhappiness. Please don't follow the diet of someone else. Listen to your body 🙏
As someone who has also suffered from anorexia, thank you so much for this reminder. I will not follow this path again. Wishing you health and strength also.

This can be seen as mean spirited but truly that isn’t my intention. I don’t understand why this girl should refrain from uploading her personal journey because of your triggers? Those are yours to deal with aren’t they. She clearly isn’t starving herself, she’s eating healthy food, exercising and hydrating, the comments make her seem like a martyr meanwhile she’s eating a chocolate bar. I perfectly understand that people that suffer from Ed’s might need a checkpoint like your comment to lend them strength but saying that this young girl should monitor her posting according to you and calling her content pro ana seems a bit much.
@@lpsloveandgame6046 I don’t think OP meant this to be pro Ana either, I think people like me who have suffered from eating disorders can often view things from this sort of perspective even when that’s not accurate- if someone known to have anorexia posted this then it would be proana howevr

Seriously.
It still is unhealthy

多様性社会だから、細かろうが太かろうが構やしないけど、海外勢のコメントの通り、ダイエットではなくただ単に筋肉量が落ちてるから体重が落ちていて、不健康だって言われてしまうんだと思う。

women start to lose their muscle mass in their 30s, but to drastically reduce muscle mass (not fat!!) in your 20s is just crazy... the body will always eat away your protein first then fat. you want to grow muscle to maintain mobility in your older years. i weigh about 140lbs but am muscular since I do weights combined with Keto-IF. I still have fat but that's cuz I have a stressful job working in IT... hoping to change this slowly!!
False. Do better research and drop KETO
The body eats fat first then protein. Fat is literally stored to be used in that manner unlike muscle.
The BMI is a useless system

1. Check your weight everyday ( i personally dont recommend this)
2. Drink 2L of water a day (if possible)
3. Eat protein.
4. Record your progress in a journal.
5. Exercise
6. You can have sugar free, low calorie dark chocolate
7. Try not to eat carbs until you lose weight.
8. Take a half-body bath ( Don't ask me why its just in the video)

Considering her height it is underweight!! I hope she eats well and take care of herself.

@@kyralorene2534 I agree. And to be frank I’ve never seen beauty standards that require women to be that thin. I think she should’ve realized that too. Yet idk why she’s dieting, I think she fits the beauty standards already.

Ok I didn't remember correctly this video and just realized I said Korean instead of Japanese, that was my mistake, but you get the point

Those are yours to deal with aren’t they. She clearly isn’t starving herself, she’s eating healthy food, exercising and hydrating, the comments make her seem like a martyr meanwhile she’s eating a chocolate bar.
I perfectly understand that people that suffer from Ed’s might need a checkpoint like your comment to lend them strength but saying that this young girl should monitor her posting according to you and calling her content pro ana seems a bit much.
i don’t necessarily think this is pro ana its literally just strict dieting
@@lpsloveandgame6046 I don’t think OP meant this to be pro Ana either, I think people like me who have suffered from eating disorders can often view things from this sort of perspective even when that’s not accurate- if someone known to have anorexia posted this then it would be proana howevr
