Shouldn't get them kerbed, little unknown feature of the Qashqai is when parking if you press the "camera" nutton next to the centre screen it switches to the side camera where you can see the wheels and kerb so you don't ruin your alloys, but not sure if that comes on all models or just the Tekna
It's virtually impossible to kerb the alloys, in my 2019 Trina with 19in rims pro pilot guide you as you park, reversing into position and the camera automatically come on, the amount of features and standard equipment is unbelievable in a qashqai, you really need to drive and own one to understand, I'm on my 3rd now and this new model looks very tasty indeed.

Every generation, cars get longer, wider and taller. Its no surprise there is more legroom or bootspace - its not thaaat impressive. Manufactures acting like its a big deal/ innovation. 😴 p.s Just my opinion.
Very true. Cars are outgrowing their own size category. The Toyota Yaris is now the same size as the old Corolla, and the new Focus is as big as the old Mondeo.
Rory has an affection for one more thing, besides the cars, which makes me appreciate him even more.. He's obviously a watch guy. I've seen him wearing a few interesting pieces during his car reviews. A Rolex here, an Omega there, and in this video - a piece of modern watchmaking. Apple watch, although not much appreciated among the watch collectors, is still a nice piece to add to your watch rotation. Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying to guess which model you'll be wearing in some future reviews and I admit I'm a bit jealous since watches in my collection don't cross the 500$ mark, while some of yours are more expensive than my collection combined.😀😀
I own 3 cars ,qashqai 2019 ,Glc 2021,Audi A7 2017 . Qashqai is the only car that I haven’t spent a penny on it apart from oil,filters etc . Just jump in and drive . Crazy
They spent their time on the externals and fucked up everything else. Nissan has gone downhill since joining Renault. Reliability is awful also, so many engine and oil problems. Once a giant now fallen

Rory is correct. Unless the new Qashqai has a fault in recording fuel mileage it is appalling. Drove one today that has done 100 miles and was shocked to see the indicated average fuel consumption 20.1 MPG. (UK).
20 to 25mpg is absolutely shocking I really cant see this selling very well. The new puke hasn't been the hit that Nissan was hoping for and this will follow suit
Totally agree - our 2018 1600 diesel was a solid 50 plus to the gallon vehicle over 40,000 miles - in fact it was better than the 1500 diesel Quash it replaced which was closer to 45 mpg and a lot slower. I would want something quite quick to tolerate 20-25mpg and never in a family wagon.
Bought a Quashqai for the first time this year - best car I've ever had; will never bother with anything else now and I've driven VWs, Citroens, Fords, Range Rover, Volvo, Toyota, Vauxhalls. Just something very solid and respectable about the Qashqai but still fun to drive - love the glass roof

Crap little underpowered engine working hard to pull the weight. Simple as. I rented one in Scotland and the thing had a tiny petrol engine it was horrible whenever it came to a slight hill it needed to be worked hard.
Wish my car had that heater system. My car comes with it on the cheap trims but I didn’t realise that as you go up the trims they integrate it into the touch screen. Honestly new cars are going backwards by hiding things in a screen
@@wink1eafc774 I work for Nissan and took home both a manual and auto model a couple of times last week. I managed 40-45 MPG in both on my commute which is about 45 minutes of country driving. Not sure what Rory was doing in this video to get mpg like that.

Never understood why so many couples discover a kid is on the way then choose a car often with smaller dimensions than most hatchbacks. I know of 3 couples who got Qashqai’s then saw my old Civic had more room behind the drivers seat and a bigger boot… but it’s an SUV so must be bigger… 🙈

Thanks for kicking off with rear seats. Also been looking at 2nd hand Lexus RX 450h. We'll want to carry elderly, frail, but large friends. Hard centre seat will batter arthritic backsides though excessively soft seats are difficult to get out of. Headroom matters a lot. I'm heavy duty DiYer and make a lot of cabinets. Fold flat seats for bikes, panels, carrying tools for diy help for friends and relatives. Want to drive and park with frail large passengers in SE London and drive about 1ce a month to family and friends in North Wales and Wimborne.
my 370 did 24mpg with me caning it on A and B roads....smaller displacement is not necessarily more efficient. Why not just go full EV or put a 1.6 L and 48V ...Nissan Europe = SUV and EV....boring.....No more exciting cars. Hello GR Toyota!! Cool car, ok review. Bad car. This car has been recalled 4 x times in US Faulty welding, child seat problem, wrong wheel nuts and I think break failure,, You might as well buy a coffin with the car. I have a 2014 Qashqai and I'm 6'1 and have enough room fine so I imagine I'd still be fine in one of those. I really like it, but I hate the new Sat Nav screens majority of cars have now, that you can even tuck or fold away to have a clean dash, these big screens sticking out just don't appeal to me.
Mate Nissan have turned to sh1t. Nissan Juke,Note,Cube,Fuga all fugly looking cars. What's worst of all is Nissan using the Skyline name on other models. Good car, 25mpg is right. Engine is quite nippy with 3 sets of tuning Eco,Normal, Sport. You will not be disappointed.

This guy talks some shit 😒 I'm 6'4" and don't have any issues with space and legroom in the previous model. Therefore I'll be drowning in this model
