Zsolt, we thank you for your passion, your belief in the product and your perseverance to make it a success. you definitely need racing style seat belts. that 30 degree side angle might be more than some people can angle without being strapped to the seat. because this has more steep angles, one wrong move and you’ll be flipping your way out of vr & back to reality. no sensors required to feel that one 😂

      That's not on the roadmap any time soon I am sure. They do have a heave platform in the works, so that will add up/down movement with a fantastic range of motion as well... when it releases someday. =D So that's 4DOF at least. If they added yet another platform that could do X/Y it would be too high off the ground. Maybe they could someday create a platform that combines the heave with X/Y. Who knows.

    • @sgooloo8457
      @sgooloo8457 Месяц назад +1

      I’m going to add the symseat 3 from Symdeck to mine. It does surge and sway. When Yawvr introduce the gravity platform that will be the 6 dof. The seat seems absolutely perfect for this, it runs on different software but that shouldn’t matter, because you only get pushed into the back and side of the seat itself, so no motion compensation software is being effected. Basically your head will be exactly where it would be in an actual car or plane but the steering wheel and pedals will stay where they are.

  • @KobraVR
    @KobraVR 2 месяца назад

    Hi how does this compensate for chair rotation in VR please? Obviously without a fixed point of reference it would just simulate a person twisting and turning inside the cockpit so after a 180 degree rotation you would be facing backwards in the sim.
    I had imagined with the Index basestations secured on the frame, that would maintain a person moving in conjunction with the cockpit but for other inside-out tracked headsets that use the room as the fixed reference point, I wondered how you addressed that?
    For anyone not following my enquiry, if you sit in a spinning chair whilst your character is in a vr game cockpit and you begin to spin in your chair, the cockpit won't move but youll spin inside the cockpit.

      The Yaw? The full rotation? Is that what you are talking about?
      I can tell you one thing it would be incredible for, helicopter simulation.
      You are able to restrict the Yaw range as desired, it does not have to spin the full 360 degrees. For example, if you need to put it in a corner of a room it would be important to restrict the Yaw movement.

    All wireless but not the display port (could be anyway ok with Pimax 60G Airlink). Missing the up/down movement, I don't think it can be a repplicable sensation with current installed engines. @@stevetb7777 i mean i'm pretty light, i don't think an arduino and a small electric motor to simulate 1dof would be this much expensive, actually a lot less than even a quest 3s. it's more the time i would spend learning how to do that and actually do that than money, and i'm pretty sure even a single dof chair would be enough for most people, 1dof or 2dof at that point yeah you're right bout that it wouldn't take much more to add it, but still cheap as hell. the real problem is engineering everything to fit 3dof inside a nice looking commercial product with nice software integration, plus marketing and mass production only for a niche market. this is why this one as other commercial ones cost so much. i saw dudes built an entire 1:1 tank cockpit for warthunder with a lot less than 2000$

    Why are there LED lights all around the seat? Why waste money time and energy on things you cant see? Stop catering to the RGB nonsense

    This is dangerous. Imagine you are old and there is a bug or virus that cause the chair to spin around at full speed. You will not be able to stop it and you will probably get killed eventually. There should be software limits to how many times it can turn around in a certain time frame. Or there should be an easily reachable kill-switch.

      I am old and have a Yaw3. Couldn't imagine a happier way to go! (they are about to release a kill switch and a four point harness is wise to use)
