This is such a helpful video. Showing roads, talking about the small towns, and guide markers is such a wonderful video to watch the whole way through. Thank you Roman.
Except, as I recall in 1 of his other videos on this trail, he said this is a vehicle review show, not a scenic touring channel. 🤣 Perhaps someone read the comment(s) made about how pretty some of it was, and thought.. hmm maybe people would like to see more scenery. 🤔
I did all of Radical Hill in my 2007 Dodge Ram Powerwagon Quad Cab back in like 2010. It was a group event where some people from other country's come to Colorado, and they want to try different things, one of them happened to be offroading. I got the pleasure of an Australian couple and they were a joy to have riding along with me. Those switchbacks are no joke, especially in my wide and long 3/4 ton truck. There was only one spot that was so skinny that I had a rock face on my left, and nothing but cliff's edge on the right. I had to rub my left tire along that rockface just to keep my right tire from sliding off down the mountain. That might have been my scariest offroading experience ever, but I'll never forget it and enjoyed it.
I absolutely love this video not because it shows beautiful roads here in CO but also shows how easy or hard by showing different vehicles during this video. Please continue to make videos like this or even a separate channel for touring taking stock vehicle on CO trails / forest roads. Back in the day I absolutely love how you took stock vehicles on Switzerland trail. I myself took my my friend with BMW X1 up to a point before vehicle damage.
Just did this today in a range Rover Velar.... No adjustable suspension... Made it up and down no problem. Had to take our time picking out lines on 19-in street tires. Went through the water just fine. Went late-morning on a Thursday, hardly anybody on the trail.
I’m retiring next year and heading that direction…. Taking our ZR2 Colorado with us behind our camper. Can’t wait! Thank you for showing us such an amazing video!! As always keep up the great work guys!
11:00 Mountain. Folk?! 😂 I appreciate you showing the consideration, and I’m sure the residents do as well. Watched the videos backward; still enjoy them. Thanks for the work and keep ‘em coming!
Really looking forward to this series of videos! Your videos of off-roading on real jeep roads and trails in Colorado are what got me following your channels years ago!
“Everything in Colorado ends up at a mine”. That was hilarious, glad I did not have a mouth full of milk…. Thanks for the great video and a good laugh…. 😂
I spent a good portion of my life wheeling on potentially dangerous/challenging trails and I have to agree with your current mindset of choosing easier trails. Trails where you can safely wheel alone. The last time I was in the area, I did red cone in a blizzard. Good times.
I did Radical Hill after Red Cone and it put my 3” lift to the test. The rain made it more difficult, so I can’t wait to do Radical Hill on a clear day.
Great series, excited to see all the trails. This is really helpful for people deciding which trails to plan for in Colorado, being able to see all the terrain they would encounter and the width of the trail is better than just a challenge rating. If those trails keep seeing such high levels of traffic, it may be time to widen them to make it easier for two-way traffic to pass without finding a spot to pull off the trail (and so two wide vehicles don’t get stuck unable to pass each other).
I love staying at the ski areas off season. I stayed in Breck right across from the lifts for 60$ 3 years ago. It's about time to go again. I had an a4 as a rental car and took it down some move windy dirt roads.
Love the idea of these videos! As someone from out of state who would like some mild trails for my son and I to try this gives us a nice guide. Thanks!
This is awesome! I can't wait to see more of these. I'm saving them because some day soon (hopefully next summer) I'm going to come do this. I appreciate the info and tips.
A double thumbs up for this video! I really enjoyed it. I especially liked the courtesy that you showed to your fellow off roaders. I still don’t like the shifter and the cheesy buttons in the Raptor. But they do get the job done. Nice truck, great tires.
Thanks Roman. Good offroad travelog. I've been thinking about driving Webster again. I last drove over Webster Pass in the late 80's in my 1980 Toyota 4X4 pickup. This time would be in an F-150 Lariat FX4.
I really enjoyed this vid. I live a long ways away, and have only flown into Denver once, but who knows what the future holds? I look forward to more vids like this.
Years ago I made the mistake of coming up Webster the other way and there was still several feet of ice on the other side of the Webster / red cone pass. It was a major mess. We had to chop our at across the ice.
Great video! Just what I needed. I always wanted to and never had any friends that did this kind of stuff. I've always wanted to get into off roading/trail riding so I just got my first truck/off road vehicle - a Colorado ZR2 (I had to have that cruise control standard - better to be over capable than under capable). I am a complete noob and need all the help I can get.
So THAT's what the top of Webster Pass and the bottom of Red Cone Hill looks like in the daytime! Haha, yeah, back in October of 2023, my most recent Powerwagon (2016 with some modded suspension on 37's) and my friend in his stock 2020 Powerwagon did Red Cone, coming from the Woodland Park area. Well, it took us longer to get to the top than I had planned so the sun was just setting and over the mountains about 10 minutes before we literally hit the top of Red Cone with the elevation marker. We took some photos in the very brisk strong wind of the surroundings, and started our descent down that treacherous decline. We used the wonderful hill descent feature to hold a set speed and it worked wonderfully, despite lots of screaming and praying from the ladies of the group. :) By the time we got to where you are with that power outlet, it was pretty much pitch dark and we didn't even know that trail continued where that snow bank was, I thought it was a cliff.
Ranger Raptor would be my choice for top-tier midsize. At that price, a sunroof, ventilated front seats, and rear seat upper air vents would make that truck just about perfect.
Another fun trail up that way is Peru Creek. Trail is not much of a challenge but several cool mine sites like the Pennsylvania Mill, the Tramway house and others.
My son and I did this last Sept. There was less snow so we were able to go down the back side. Prob never again because my Bronco could barely fit for about 100 feet of the shelf.
I’d say the reason not to do Radical Hill would be if you can’t clear the obstacles towards the bottom. The shelf road part isn’t that bad if you just take it slow and don’t get too close to the high side as that could bump you in the other direction and over the ledge.
When riding off-road in a group, it's important to make sure everyone understands basic hand signals. Here are some examples of hand signals that can be used: Position The last rider in a group can signal their position by holding a fist in the air. For example, if there are six riders in a group, the leader would hold up five fingers, the rider behind them would also hold up five, and so on.
Moving out to Grand Junction from Tennessee here soon. Can’t wait to take my Silverado on some of these trails. It’s modified to wheel, but we are lacking good trails out here if you don’t like mud.
Very cool area to explore. This is a good way to show the people what's here. Also, I have the same red stitching on my Suzuki Equator RMZ-4. It adds 10 hp easy.
Looks like a nice trail ride that doesn’t look like it would damage my truck or scratch it. I like nice quiet trails wide enough to still have some fun with out causing any damage don’t mind mud and dust just don’t want dents and scratches
Love this. Looking forward to more of these.
Yay! Thank you!
I only need to get to Colorado and you be my tour guide.
Wow. Show in the summer. If this would happen in south Carolina lol . The state will stop working
That was me in the Bronco at 10:28, cool to see you on the trails! Also the Mile High Bronco Club was the group airing up you spoke with.
Lucky duck seeing TFL in the wild. Nice Bronco!
This is such a helpful video. Showing roads, talking about the small towns, and guide markers is such a wonderful video to watch the whole way through.
Thank you Roman.
Roman, we need more of these videos. Thank you for sharing stunning wilderness of Colorado

As a Zuma resident Thank you for telling people about speeding thru Main Street and the dogs to watch out for. Amazing video
Our pleasure!
How good is the lemonade, and how much do they make?🥤
What a great way to spend an afternoon
Love watching videos like this. Ranger Raptor is a cool little truck!
This is my fav thing you have done so far on TFL... very chill to watch and informational, thank you!
I absolutely love this video not because it shows beautiful roads here in CO but also shows how easy or hard by showing different vehicles during this video. Love this video. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Thanks Roman. My favorite TFL video of all time is the one you and Tommy did the Black Bear Pass. Keep these coming
Great Video Roman... felt just as if I was along for the ride. Appreciate all you folks do at TFL !
Just did this today in a range Rover Velar.... No adjustable suspension...

Kudos Roman! Thanks, I feel like I was right there with you on that ride!
Thank you for showing us this lovely part of Colorado. Looking forward to other similar uploads.
This is so cool, looking forward to more of this series!
best way to review a vehicle is actually using it. love these!
“Everything in Colorado ends up at a mine”. That was hilarious, glad I did not have a mouth full of milk…. Thanks for the great video and a good laugh…. 😂

Thanks for posting this! My son and I tried it out last weekend in our Defender and had a great day!
Good trail, I was part of the Group of Broncos at the bottom airing up. We came over Red Cone and down, we all enjoyed your truck.
Great to see you guys!
I'm in Broomfield with a new 4Runner TRD ORP. This is now on my list. Maybe the best TFL video I've seen, thanks Roman.
This series is great! Using this to plan on off road vacation in Colorado next August!
Finally, instructions on how to take my $10 Nissan Leaf off road 😉
Great Series. Gonna be fun Thanks from a flat lander Texan

Great video love the scenery the Ranger Raptor is a goto vehicle for a great ride.
Never go to webster, to many people. Still closed by snow last week
I'm in Wisconsin and very little off-roading alot of ATV trails but not for trucks.thank you Roman
Same! Check out the TWAT. It's an offroad trail that runs from southwest WI up to Superior area. I'm going to run it for the 1st time this October.
I'm in Racine Wisconsin
Kenosha checking in!
I love staying at the ski areas off season. I stayed in Breck right across from the lifts for 60$ 3 years ago. It's about time to go again. I had an a4 as a rental car and took it down some move windy dirt roads.
Thank you for the FYI and video, also the explanations and the quiet time too.
What a great video idea. More please. Great break up from the usual videos. Keeps your channel fresh
Love the idea of these videos! As someone from out of state who would like some mild trails for my son and I to try this gives us a nice guide. Thanks!
Looks like a lot of fun. Airing down isn't just for grip on rocks, it's also for ride quality off road.
And protecting the tires 👍
It took me all day to get through this video (work ☹️) but I absolutely love this type of video!! And I loved that you did it with the Ranger Raptor!!
Thank you so much!!
This is awesome! I can't wait to see more of these. I'm saving them because some day soon (hopefully next summer) I'm going to come do this. I appreciate the info and tips.
I appreciate the video boys. And good to see Roman out and enjoying the Raptor….maybe you’ll just keep it.
Looking forward to more of these!
Please make more video of scenic easy trails like this one. I will be waiting
Perfect timing. Heading to keystone on Wednesday... Have done deer Creek / St. John's a bunch in the past...have never done this....
Nice change of pace! Very enjoyable. Thank you!
Awesome video! Colorado is absolutely stunning!
We agree!

You have a beautiful state that you live in. Love these type videos. Great job.
Thank you for the great video! I'll have to do Webster Pass someday soon!
Beautiful views thanks for the video and helpful info. Appreciate all the work and content yall put out I'm in Colorado as well
I was with the other Broncos, Mile High Bronco Club. It was nice to meet you in person. I love the color on your Ranger!
Great meeting you guys as well.
I was just there in Keystone. Thank you for this video showing us an off-road trail. I own a TRX so most likely get some ‘pin tripping.’
What a great truck! That thing will zoom up the pass!
A double thumbs up for this video! I really enjoyed it. I especially liked the courtesy that you showed to your fellow off roaders. I still don’t like the shifter and the cheesy buttons in the Raptor. But they do get the job done. Nice truck, great tires.
Bravo Roman. Good series, thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Great video. Love the drive and recommendations. 😊
Thank you! 😃
Look to that trail next year when we go back. Last time close
Thanks Roman. Good offroad travelog. I've been thinking about driving Webster again. I last drove over Webster Pass in the late 80's in my 1980 Toyota 4X4 pickup. This time would be in an F-150 Lariat FX4.
Great video! We need more “average Joe 4x4” videos. Beautiful scenery!
Awesome video that territory is beautiful
Loved this. Looking forward to more.
Thank you!! I love this look at the CO trails. I'm really looking forward to more in this series. :)
More to come!
Awesome video! Looking forward to more.
That was awesome. Next time bring the Renegade too!
35:59 ... Love the Baby side airbag... Just fill the car with kids so if it rolls over...
I really enjoyed this vid. I live a long ways away, and have only flown into Denver once, but who knows what the future holds? I look forward to more vids like this.

My take on the "etiquette" is whoever has easier time to pull to the side and let the other person go.
Another fun trail up that way is Peru Creek. Trail is not much of a challenge but several cool mine sites like the Pennsylvania Mill, the Tramway house and others.
Hope you will do some of the videos in southern and southwest Colorado!
Great trip, thanks for making this video
I love seeing things like this, I just hope attention to individual trails like this end up bringing people in who end up trashing them.
My son and I did this last Sept. There was less snow so we were able to go down the back side. Prob never again because my Bronco could barely fit for about 100 feet of the shelf.
Great idea for a video. Can’t wait to see more

Very cool area to explore. This is a good way to show the people what's here. Also, I have the same red stitching on my Suzuki Equator RMZ-4. It adds 10 hp easy.
I could do that trail in my awd Taurus. But cool video Roman..

I'm going to take my Jeep grand up there soon.
Nice like what doing on the new show hope see Andre and some of the episodes
