    Out of ALL the Clip Studio tutorials online/RUclips, yours are BY FAR the best and most helpful. Thank you for your great content!

    One important tip to note for uploading .clip files for back up using onedrive: press the 3 dots at the top to activate side-by-dide windows, open the onedrive app, then copy+paste or drag+drop in your .clip files into onedrive.
    Also do not have special characters like the plus symbol ( + ) in your file name as onedrive will not recognize the file and therefore the file will not upload.
    The native files app for the ipad is extremely buggy and I’ve had files that never copied over properly to the cloud, but were stuck in some weird limbo on my ipad. Eventually after a couple updates, I was able to resolve this issue, but now I just use the method stated above which works 100% of time.

    Thank you so much for this. I was just wondering and trying to figure this out yesterday when I was trying to free up the space on my laptop. Your video came in at just the right time 😊

    Thank you Reuben, for this video. It answered my questions, and others I didn’t even know to ask, in a clear and actionable way.
    Excellent- much appreciated.

    What if I don't have the clip paint studio folder

    • @Annia5605

      I had the same problem but I just figured it out!!!! If you go to “file”, “save as”, and then do everything like indicated in the video, the file app window will pop up. When this happens, click “cancel” on the top left of the file app window. After that there should be a tiny little window from csp that pops up saying “the operation was cancelled. illustration has not been saved.” and then right under that (still on the little csp window) you should have 3 options, click the “save to clip studio folder” options and then the folder with the saved files should appear in you files app just like it did in the video!!!! (At least that’s what worked for me)

      @@Annia5605 I've done something else to fix it! But only thanks to having a license also for a PC: I synched a file on PC, then downloaded it on ipad, that created the CSP folder also!

    So I am having a MASSIVE problem with CSP on iPad and the Cloud system. I have made a few drawings on the iPad that I want to transfer to my computer and continue working on. But it won't sync ANY of my drawings to the Manage Works tab. I turned on Sync when opening and logging into CSP but it still hasn't propagated the files. Only the file I uploaded from computer > Cloud > iPad is working correctly and appearing. NOTHING else is when created direcrtly from iPAd and it's becoming quite frustrating. Their Tips and Advice on how to use their Cloud storage is rather ass.

      I have the exact same issue.. did you ever figure out how to fix this issue?

    • @ReubenLara
      @ReubenLara  8 месяцев назад

      Yes it's not super consistent. Make sure you are logged in by clicking the "Log in" button at the top. I find many users think they are logged in but are not. I almost never use CSP's cloud syncing, and instead just save things to Dropbox or another cloud service to transfer files.

    my big problem with Clip Studio is that after three months i can still see the thumbnail to my work but i can't download it because its been more than 30 days so why the hell are the clip files still seemingly in my cloud file? it even tells me how much each file weitghts in bytes! and yet when I asked them to please send me those files they left me on read... i paid for the program 3 times by now because of their updates and still can't do that one simple thing... Someone must know how to get me those files the thumnails are all still there! they are just lost from my pc...

    Sadly, on Android is the opposite and I can't choose where to save my files. I'm obligated to use the main default save (whenever it is) and the internal cloud system.
    And this is an issue because My tablet only has 32GB of internal storage, I can add a Micro SD up to 126 GB but the app doesn't let me choose to save here.

      Arg sorry about that. This is why tablet devices still can't fully replace desktop operating systems. Best wishes on your projects.

    Since the options available are online-dependent file storage, will there be a way to read and transfer files offline without resorting to one drive, cloud, or dropbox? I would love to hear your thoughts about that! Thank you for the tutorial.

    My ipad automatically set my save location to outside the CSP folder instead of inside. Now I got to save all my latest works again bc the system won't see them after I moved them back T_T

    i i save my timelapse as an mp4, but, unlike the images, i cannot locate the mp4...im on android btw. i checked the media app, and isnt in any folders, but can find images i saved as on the same device...when saving as mp4, there is no folder to choose from, but looks like the one where i save my images. I have to plug device into computer and search for the folder that way. or import to tiktok instragram or email

    I have Klip studio paint on my computer and I want to use it on my tablet. Do I have to pay for this once again or is there a way to connect the account on the PC to the tablet? Can you help me?

      Late reply but sadly the iPad version is a subscription service, so even if you bought it for the oc you still need to pay for the iPad version

    Is there anyway to use this cloud sync service to download exact same brushes from desktop or do you just have to set it up and drag them becuase its a different device?

    • @ReubenLara
      @ReubenLara  2 года назад +1

      hello! yes, you can use the Clip Studio Backup and Restore buttons to backup your dekstop, then restore onto your iPad, for example. All your brushes and shortcuts will transfer. I show that briefly in this video from a few years ago, but it works the same now: ruclips.net/video/WkLrMGpWayw/видео.html
