I’m in the same boat now, i love procreate a lot but the layer limitations and the resolution limitations are very frustrating, i am hoping that clip studio will be able to get around this issue.

Oh my goodness THANK YOU SOSOSO MUCH!! When i first tried clip studio paint i was so confused about the brushes and layers, and i wanted to like organize them like my favorite other artist who uses csp but i didnt know how to, and i tried to find so many tutorial videos on how to organize them but I couldn’t find any! So i deleted csp because i didnt know how to use it... until this video. Like oh mah goodness! When i found this video i re-download csp and then i did ur tut and it work and this really helped me alot! Now i can finally use csp!!!

@@TamilVolk I work making inks for Marvel Comics. I currently use a 21" Huion Kamvas". But I'm thinking of making the switch to the iPad so I can work in other locations instead of spending all day in a room. Do you think it's worth making the switch from a big screen to a smaller screen?

@@orenjunior4211 ipad is a little small for professional work for me. I usually need at least 16 to get things done. Especially since CSP will take up a lot of UI space.
And the ipad pencil does not feel stirdy when I ink. I am not sure how to explain it. I really like it for sketching tho! With any pencil brushes, it's great. Painting feels gummy.
I would get one used to just play around with it. I think it's worth it.

How do you right-click? Not sure if the video mentions it, but that is the one thing I need to know so I can use vectors properly. Can’t delete vector points without it!
You would go to the correct line tool (arrow with the corner node icon), and in the tool property there is an option for deleting control points.
Can you do gestures? Like move and zoom in/out and rotate the canvas with your fingers?

Is there any way to speed up the color picking "process" it take too long to touch and and wait for the circle to appear. I am frequently changing color on pc and cant get used to this. I might needa keyboard
Not sure, but I heard that CSP has an option now to connect your phone for tools/color/undo. It's not ideal solution ,but maybe that will help too.
Do you know how to use the polyline or polycurve tool on an iPad ? The line seems to get messed up when one tries to click to make a new segment.
Never used them before. Maybe using fingers might be a bit different?

Would the iPad 12.9 pro 4th generation be enough for clip studio (no lagging or other issues) or do I need the 5th gen with M1 chip?

I use paperlike, but I heard alternatives are just as good and cheaper.

Yes, ipad is a subscription only so far.
Something that seems super silly even with pro version, I don't have a pencil tool visable?? Did I do something wrong?

Long story short, a pencil tool is not a "tool" I think, it's just a category of brushes in CSP that is put in a separate icon. You can try resetting brushes or just download pencil ones from the market. It should behave like a pencil.
Why should I double the size number? Won’t that be too big for those screens and social medias you were referring to? Also thanks for the tutorial!
Instagram may compress and resize your images when you upload them to its platform to optimize for web viewing. This compression can sometimes result in a loss of image quality, especially if you upload a low-resolution image. Starting with a higher resolution gives you more control over how your image appears after Instagram's compression process.
thanx for the GREAT tutorial. I have a problem however. I was able to move the canvas with one finger doing what you said. but all the sudden it stopped working and now I need to use 2 fingers even when I press that option at the top right. Ive even googled it and read on line instructions with no success. Would you happen to have any idea on how to rectify this issue? thanks for the video and thanks if you reply.
Could you time stamps the “option” you mentioned? I am trying to see where I did it so I can see.
Other than that, I would try to reset workspace in window/workspace/reset I think(?)
Or check gesture controls and reset that. Or if everything fails, just reinstall maybe. Never heard of that happening.

When I add a new layer (because I do a sketch with the pencil and then I outline) it doesn’t let me draw again. Why?
Also, it’s for animating, just saying. Idk if it works the same for an illustration.
@@So_joSky not sure about animation, but there were really good tutorials about recently. I would highly suggest going over csp tips and looking for stuff there.

In theory yes. You can always download it and log in. There is a trial period to test the program. You will not have to pay anything :)

Why can’t I draw vector layers on IPad Pro 2gen in ClipStudio? When I create a vector layer and want to draw on it I can’t as my Apple Pencil’s tip shows a Red circle crossed and all.
Do you have a vector brush selected? Only vector brushes are allowed.

Hey! It could be a lot of things. Increase Canvas. Anti-Alias Settings - use anti-aliasing for smoother lines. Stabilization - Enable stabilizer for steady lines. Found in the brush settings. Vector Layers: Try using vector layers for smoother lines.
