Thank you for the honest representation of grief from different, but equally valid perspectives. Like your son, I’ve always been pretty quiet about my emotions. My parents assumed it was a teenage girl phase but now in my adulthood, I still find it easier to go through my feelings on my own. Venting really does make me feel worse hahaha, but I will say being able to feel somebody’s presence and their care without needing words, is a magical thing. You seem like a wonderful person who could provide that space for your kids. All the best.

Thank you! Grayson is such a deep kid and a very good communicator. His thoughts on love are amazing as are many things he shared. He looks very much like the son I lost, who was a beautiful soul as well.♥️

I wish so much I'd have gotten to be here for the live. First of all, your son is such a wise "old soul". His words through this just blew me away. I wish I would have heard this at the beginning of my journey because I believe it would have changed the way my daughter & I are now. I was so worried about her coping with her brother's passing that I pushed. That did damage I think.
What I would like to know from him, and you..... How do I handle the fact that she wants "her mom" back? She wants who I was, but this event & everything I've experienced with losing my son has changed me to my core. It doesn't mean I don't love her as much as ever, but I hurt and I can't pretend not to. I'm trying so hard.
Grayson is definitely the philosopher in the family, haha. I'm actually going to see him tonight so I will ask him your question and he and I can discuss it and I will get back to you with a better answer! ❤️
