Schools are pushing p? Seriously though, what books? What are their titles and authors? Which Libraries were they found in? Otherwise, this is a straw man argument, whether true or not. Without that information, anyone can make these kind of videos where they are making these claims. Also, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having multiple partners throughout your life or at the same time. Comparing the morality of multiple partner sex with the legality of smoking is a false equivalency. Also, I think you're confusing something being morally wrong with something harmful. All harmful things are not immoral, all immoral things are not harmful. You keep speaking of logic, yet you're repeatedly falling into false logic traps. Then I felt like you were afraid of the word "stroked," being said on your channel. That reaction and claim you can't say stroked, or that it is implicitly sexual, was disingenuous of you. You can stroke a golf club. It is a fact that any part of your skin will respond to being stroked/stimulated. As far as self-stimulation of a sexual nature, do you believe masturbation is not normal? Finally, I really hope you're willing to engage with something/someone other than your echo chamber. May peace be with you ;)
Shut the ever living fuck up are you really going to take the side of a bunch of groomers they are teaching this to kids in schools even as early as 1st grade this is grooming.
I was exposed to “p” from a very very young age, and I can say that from experience it is one the worst things that you can expose a child too. The long term mental (and some physical) effects are honestly some of the toughest things for me to push past and forget about.
Lucid thank you for spreading light on this. I am still in school and see these types of things and it just baffles me. We as a community need to stop this.
They would remove any book from the library if it happened to talk about anything x related or had an image of something, now they are wanting it.. what has this world become..
Idk man. I don't think society as a whole will ever accept the sexualization of children. Out of all the things, I think that's the one thing that won't occur.
My sister was in first grade when she got a seemingly innocent looking book containing pornography. Absolutely vile. Unfortunately the problem isn’t exclusive to the US. We live in Norway.
My 8 year old little brother brought one of these books home. We never saw it until he was doing his reading assignment the other day for school. He wrote a whole report on the book thinking it was normal. He was about to hand that book report in to the teachers. Now, he's been searching up all the " big " and disgusting words embedded in the books and was exposed to such disgusting content. Thanks for bringing this up. Like you said, I have no idea why this is an issue anywhere.
@@elsalvedorven5546the school system is very bad. if a teacher grades you poorly or doesn't care about you the counselor doesn't and the principal doesn't care. And if I could I would talk back to my teachers if they said something mean or graded my assignment purposely wrong. I advise everyone to google and watch youtube assignments about your class because teachers only teach you what is "necessary to THEM" and they will even do less than that. They don't care about you they care about their money and their own kids. And personally just upload it to the news and social media and put the school name there too so they are ashamed cause they wouldn't care if a kid left.
I discovered P* when I was in elementary (probably about 7-9 yo) and it was the worst mistake of my life. I was over sexualizing everything. It's terrible and so sad that children so young can discover something like this. I'm definitely going to talk to my future kids about it and tell them the dangers of it. Or just restrict it. I don't know which is better. If I warn them, will that make them curious? It's so scary.
I'm a 13 year old girl in The Netherlands. My school gets all the books from the government. Our biology book explains how m*sturb*tion, p and stuff like that is normal. We saw naked boys and girls doing it in our book, not even cartoon. They were real humans. We were forced to look at those stuff, at first i thought it was normal because i had to know these things for when i get older. But i guess not?
my 8th grade biology book literally contained a decently accurate depiction of a female's genitals and on SexEd class they told us: -You find out whether you are gay or straight by being in relationships with both men and women and seeing which you find more comfortable -Porn is good because it allows you to learn about different sexualities -Masturbation is fine and normal -a few sex positions like fr just talk about condoms and end it there
I absolutely hate this shit. Day by day, we're transitioning into a society were you can't even take your kids to school. Thanks a lot Lucid for showing and making people aware of this disgusting practice. Keep on sharing what's real and true.
I honestly think that normalizing certain things must come to an end , especially if we are talking about children , thank you lucid for making this vid , would love to see this message spread to put an end to this type of stuff
But there are also things that should be normalized that arent at the moment, like teaching about homosexuality and maybe politics (im not sure about politics because it would be very hard to teach that in a neutral way)
I believe in sexual education, especially in this modern culture where seventh graders are talking about having pulling a guy in class (true story), but this does not come close to sexual education.
@@pastalord69bro it is they still don’t even have a full understanding what it’s about and showing them how to do it and how to arouse other people is sick grooming they just think it’s a good thing and will try to do it with other people who probably know what it’s about. can you please make a video on society’s hypersexualization? i took a break from social media and coming back on (mostly reddit lol) i’ve noticed how much sex is referenced. it makes me feel, as a woman, like my worth is largely dependent on my body and what i can offer sexually. idk, it’s just been affecting my view of myself and sex in general. i feel like to men that i’m just a body meant to please them. it’s not just social media that has caused this insecurity…i just got out of an abusive relationship w someone who used me for sex so that started this and social media has reinforced it. i feel like the hypersexuality should be brought to light, though. and since you mentioned it, i thought i’d ask.
You are the one that has somewhat gotten me onto the right path, today i prayed for 20 minutes and cried asking for forgivness because u were one of the wake up calls i got through these past months
its quite saddening to see literal children being exposed to p and being told that its not bad, like i discovered it by accident and i am still recovering from it, it caused me so much anguish, and yet they go and show it to kids, i really hope they dont fall into the bad habits i and many men of my generation fell into, really makes me sick
We're all in the same boat. Porn ruined my life because I was exposed to it too early and it will keep doing so to many individuals - minors and adults alike. We need to find a way to cut off this cancerous growth; stop it from inflicting any more pain. God bless you 🙏❤
@@ItzBirb2 I would say it's probably as addictive as anything. If you have other vices - like gaming, for example, you know how difficult it is to be rid of that as well. Relapse was a huge part of my recovery. Every time I relapsed, I felt more shame than the last time. Eventually I decided on cutting that act out of my life entirely. I was through with being miserable - and finally I began feeling pride over being a virgin. Now, I am still proud over that, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with the idea of remaining a virgin for the rest of my life. Individuals shouldn't sleep around with a lot of people - where's the point in that? No, find yourself a partner of the opposite sex, marry them and have kids. This is the meaning of life and I can guarantee that you will feel true happiness the day your children are born.
America is just weird if one of us students were caught reading such things in books we would be punished severely and the school would face so much shit..

I remember back when I was in 8th grade, we had sex education as part of Indian school syllabus. We were shown the scientific diagrams of reproductive organs and basic guidelines on reproductive health, STDs. But nothing more than that, especially not the erotic positions or p**. Thank God, India is safe from this degeneracy.
@@FacelessBillions True, in many schools in India, it is straight up tabooed and dismissed. I was lucky to be in a school I went to considered it with the sensitivity it deserves.
I thought this was gonna be BS but after seeing the photos of the books I literally cannot defend it. I assumed that it was just gonna be a normal sex ed book but then they started talking about scat and stuff??? Like wtf???
Bro it was so hard to even imagine little kids “doing it” with themselves. How could the author even sit down and write a book on it telling them it’s a good thing. You have to be sick to something like this
7:14 it’s not perfectly normal when this almost always ends in an addiction. The addiction that hinders you in building connections with actual people. They need to stop being so oblivious to this fact.
Agreed. 90% of that book was actual sex-ed, I read it when I was 10, but the part when it mentions masturbation just isn't good at all. 90% of it is actual sex-ed that shows the scientific process, and how condoms worked and other important stuff like that, but the masturbation page just doesn't work in my opinion.
Growing up I was exposed to that content, the main thing that kept me from doing it was learning the consequences of it and differentiating lust and love. Learning that helped me avoid rape two separate times so I can get the idea behind the education but these people have the wrong idea and are making it easy for predators to take advantage by claiming it's an act of "love", not teaching avoidance and not teaching the consequences. It's maddening how they want to teach this type of education but leave in all the stuff that leaves them vulnerable to grooming and nothing that helps them avoid it. Sex is not an act of love, it's not perfectly safe and it has its consequences.
I totally agree with you, and i think it’s crazy that they would really put this in a elementary school we’re talking about children who aren’t even above the age of 12.
@@KiKisLIVE in the long run it’s for the better but it can be harmful for a little while, I’m not saying you can never do it again I just don’t want anyone to be addicted because that will seriously mess up your life

When I was in high-school, we had an *** "educational" science class where at the end of the class, the teacher gave us a paper about p, and she told us to talk about it with our parents. Honestly, talking about it with our parents would seem good, but the paper was like the book you showed; disgusting. It didn't appeal to me to show them. And then, she gave us condoms. Just like that. I threw them away, just before going home the same day out of shame, and it led me to not ever talk about this with my parents. Damn, should've put it in discord.
WTF, which country is this??? America I'm guessing??? And also, if you really think about it majority of the teachers are woman, single. Etc. Just let that sink in. Because the way how male teachers teach are totally different from woman.
bro, depending on how your parents are (you would know best) i think you shouldnt hide this from them, this is absolutely disgusting and you should tell them.
Trueee, same with me ,they pushed it so heavily with unnecessary details ,legit think it gave me some weird sort grudge against that type of education, everyones brain develops at different speeds so I dont think those talks should be allowed for everyone at the same time ,I think they gave the school game the talk to me 3 years to early ,still would've been better if they dont give any talk at all and bcs ppl figure out anyway
Jesus christ, I didn't know this was happening. Thanks for the information, I'll poke around the library next time my little sister is at school. As for resolutions, I would tell a younger child to go after books that they know are safe to read in the library, and I _would_ tell them to have a teacher check it's contents but judging by the school system's reactions I think they'd give any book the 'ok' even if it was the most graphic thing you can find on DeviantArt.
Dang.. Is it only at elementary schools? Before I moved, I was at a junior high, and then the district I moved to made my grade in elementary. Reeeaally curious.
I was 11 when i first found these "adult clips" on a discord server, no age verifaction at all. AND ISTG IF SOMEONE SAYS ITS MY FAULT FOR BEING ON DISCORD AT 11
Like in what world is this ok what In the actual heck. This is honestly disgusting, school has gotten so trash it’s just better to be home schooled at this point.
Bro I was exposed to this *P* when I was 12 from an ex friend, I must say its in no way something to glorify or teach to young pre adolescent kids whatsoever. If anything, this is just as you said child grooming but also indecent exposure to tons of children. This *P* material in kids' books should have never become a thing to exist in a library at all.
And there's people thinking that 12 is an appropriate age. It's upsetting, especially because I am among those people, and even at that age kids are reckless, at least right now. Books are meant to educate and entertain in safe ways.. Like, I haven't seen a single book that tells you to go attack a shark in the middle of the ocean. But then, there goes P in children's books, sliding its way through security. Do people even check books? Because the worst thing I've seen so far in it is that grooming is ok.
if you teach kids about normal sex in high school no issue whatsoever if YOU TELL THEM ABOUT GOLDEN SHOWERS AND A SCAT FETISH BEFORE HIGH SCHOOL THEN THAT IS AN ISSUE
Saw adult content online curious through private middle school, I am still guilty about my online discovery years ago, and now I'm armed with this knowledge to prevent rotten and perverted adults from spreading this stuff to younger classmates.
All I can say is pray for the people responsible. I hope they turn to God and realize what they’re doing is wrong. This is so sad that this is actually happening in schools around the US.
@Xellc who cares if its dead? theyre learning still like who actually cares if its dead, no one cares if its dead or not if your improving and learning from it then its good like who actually gives a sht if its dead or not
In my country some people want to ban anything about sexual education in schools (I had those clases and literally all they say is "use condoms") because of books like this. We can't even talk about menstruation, some ets beside HIV or anything "normal" (for example: some guys asked about vasectomy during the class and the teacher didn't want to talk about it).
As someone who looked at certain images/videos (not sure if youtube censors comments) since 13, I fully agree with the statement that children should not be allowed to view it. From my experience, especially the way I kinda found out about that stuff, it does not turn out well for the kid. Teach them it exists, don’t encourage them to do it or look up certain videos.
Thank goodness someone actually put some voice into this issue. I was able to get a glimpse of the book online and it was just completely disgusting. How can society genuinely think that there is no problem with showcasing this to literal minors. The only solution that I can see other than protesting is to simply prevent children from going to school and homeschool them until the government decides to actually do something. I see this to be much better than simply exposing children to literal p*.
@@trinity.4943 one of the books is called it's perfectly normal just seeing little sections of it made me pretty sick tbh its absolutely disgusting that they think its acceptable for children
I live within the same area as Lucid. I can back this 100%. The school situation is so bad right now. And our current state government isn’t doing anything about it…
The “cheat sheet” you mentioned comes from “This Book is Gay” by James Dawson which is aimed at people around age 15. The idea that it is targeted towards young children is completely false. It also exists mainly to provide definitions of somewhat common and normal practices. None of this is actually telling children they should do those things, it’s just explaining that they exist and what they are.
It’s still pushing the fact that “sex feels good,” which means they’re gonna try to do it(talking from experience). Just imagine if they did the same with alcohol or smoking! It’s already bad enough as it is with kids doing things
If you think kids are interested in sex, maybe their parents are the influences for the child to become hyper sexualized. I myself saw a porno at a young age, turned it off and put my spiderman movie back on. Grew up on nursing books that educate on safe sex and reproductive system studies. Kids don't learn to be freaky as you said, it teaches them as students how to be safe and ready at what stages in their life, since sex is not needed for children at all, and everyone can wait until the age of consent(i wish universally it was around 18)
in belgium is not this extreme, they just talk about symptoms of STD's and what to do if u have one. just the male and female bodies and how the male/female genitals work
I just read a quote that made me think. It goes “If you want to destroy any nation without war, make adultery or nudity common in the young generation”. I got a feeling people are praying for our downfall.
Thank you for making this, this is the type of shit people get banned over, and you're willing to risk that. Never have I been more thankful I'm homeschooled.
If some human biology/sex education drawings turn you on then, like... maybe it's just you. It's ridiculous how people have started fearing nudity so much. That's literally our natural state, and society has just made it seem bad.
It's crazy how you've fallen so deep down the rabbit hole that you're defending this oversexualized agenda push. Kids brains are still developing, and being exposed to this is something they should never be subject to. Nudity is sexual immorality. When you push these things on children, you're taking advantage of their poor impulse control and undeveloped brains.
Hey lucid you saved me from going down that hill of those bad habits and watching short form videos like tiktok that ruin your attention span when i was too young to know any better, appreciate you.
oke lucid i dont think your gonna see this but if you are the second book you where talking about i read that book my self i whas like 12 when i first got that book at that age you are like semi aware that the flowers and the bees did not make you and my opinion is that this is a safe way of getting in contact with the concept because it is normal and every woman or man does it eventualy
How did this even end up in school libraries? Sure, they call it "sexual education", but literally any normal human being would take one look at it and immediately reject it from being added to the SCHOOL library. Don't the books get reviewed before getting added? How did this slip in? Hoping it gets removed soon.
Even though we’re the same age, I look up to you bro! You’re such an inspiration. You motivated me to stop watching p**n and be a better man. Thanks, Lucid!
“You can do whatever you want as long as you aren’t harming others OR YOURSELF.” Every child who reads that book is learning something harmful, and the fact that it came from a school library is even worse… But that’s education, everyone! Brings out many gifts from inside of us… (complete BS btw)
astaghfirullahaladzim bro it's not even just p, and not even just in the US, there are so many things in so many different places exposed to children and those who are young that affect their decisions and thought via early onset exposure. education can be good but it and what surrounds it often keeps students in a very specific bubble, one that not even parents can reject, because it's fr everywhere, at school, on their phones, their tablets, libraries, the tv, the cinema as someone whos still in highschool, although i haven't seen literal p in my schoolwork, we've done research papers on similar, "controversial" themes in english and science classes, like "proving" religion is only adaption, or stories with topics of politics and sexual orientation (which im not against reading for the information they have, but where's the importance??), etc. these aren't elective classes that i'm talking about. like bruh 💀 when it comes to schools themselves, and not books provided by other publishers, i feel like alot of teachers have something to do with what's being said or taught that's outside of fact, especially in public schools (which i attend), that are much more diverse and have so many varying opinions from different families, experiences and backgrounds. education should be unbiased and unspecific to topics that don't concern them learning such things like sexuality, religion, political standings, and sex (outside of what's scientific) is a decision that families should be able to make, not the curriculum, and especially not the teachers, which is obvious but never enforced or considered, at least from my personal experience it's so sad to hear it's already in libraries, especially since it's likely on a much bigger scale than people assume im tryna know who is asking for these wattpad ass books 😭😭 also W video thank u!! it's so nice to see somebody talk about these things with such a platform, really appreciate it, especially for those of us still in school
i think unbiased teachings of sexuality, politics, sex ed (body parts, basic nonharmful definiton if at all, pregnancy, puberty, and when theyre older safe sex, birth control/condoms, and if the laws in their area allow it, abortion) and religion should be talked about. when children are young, they are not hateful (unless they have hateful parents) and so if you tell them "hey, straight people exist and so do lgbtq people!" they wont take it as ew gay people suck but it wont be a teacher "forcing" it onto them (not that you can). with politics you should learn them in middle/high school but only the definitions and maybe a few examples (i dont rlly have any off the top of my head but im sure u can think of "neutral" examples) and only if someone says something bad ("i like hitler/stalin", "i hate ____ people") THEN should you interfere. most of my teachers do a pretty good job at being unbiased towards it, obvs some have a slight bias but even then they never force it. teaching religion is a really hard subject, especially if you belief in a religion or are a hardcore athiest. i say bring religion up when it comes up, when ur talking abt a civilization mention their religion, say what it is and some traditions. like when u learn abt 17th century england you kinda HAVE to talk about catholicism/protestantism. plus if you leave stuff up to families thats how you sometimes get hateful, ignorant kids. kids are not naturally homophobic, theyre taught by parents. if a kid grows in a school environment and is shown lgbtq stuff in a positive light they usually pay no mind to it. at a young age obviously. kids are racist because theyre taught it, and nowadays that racism is learned through consuming the wrong media, their parents, or friends. (sometimes their school if they have racist teachers but it depends). kids who are hateful against religion are usually taught it by parents or friends (or if they go to a religious school, theyre taught it there) but it is obviously really disgusting what theyre doing here, sex ed shouldnt be taught till 2nd-3rd grade, and at that age the bare minimum nothing more. those books are still even too inappropriate for highschool. obviously highschoolers probably may recognize most of that stuff, but theyre still likely to be harmed by it.
yeah you are right, teachers should not talk about racism and homophobia , they shouldn't even teach morals like being a good person and respecting others, like that's only a thing parents can teach, because every parent is loving and caring and abusive parents dosen't exist, and all parents talk about safe sex and they don't put their kids in a "safe" bubble where bad things dosen't exists so when the bad things actually happens they end up traumatized and with several mental issues. What a fantasy world you live in.
I like how you went and attacked the core of their argument, which is 'it doesnt affect you'. Too many people are squishy on this part and dont realize that accepting this premise ruins any argument against giving this to kids or encouraging them to do things like this.
PLEASE PUT YOUR SOURCES IN THE DESCRIPTION. You're quoting from a large range of books and the only one I could actually find is "It's Perfectly Normal" because you didn't quote them as sources. As for "It's Perfectly Normal" (quoted at 7:00), the book is not intended to be lent out to children under 10 years old, it explicitly says that on the cover. 10 years old is the age at which kids receive sex education in schools in the UK and USA and that's a good thing. It's far better that they learn information about sex from teachers whose job it is to provide accurate information and from reputable books than from pornography or their peers. And the information you quoted WAS accurate information, it says that many people from all of those groups enjoy masturbation, many also don't. And you won't get an STI or pregnancy from masturbating. And the information about how people masturbate is completely true, too.
I agree with you. I mean, depends on how old the kids are. But some kids become sexually mature at 8 years old. Not telling them about this stuff might even endanger them, because they would only go by instinct. Sex Ed needs to happen, otherwise the youth won't even know about how dangerous STDs can be for example. It saddens me that this topic is so stigmatized
@@paintbox3011The solution does not consist of telling kids to get kinky with all their friends and start harems with 'Playboy: Child Edition with step by step guide, now with BDSM and Toilet Fun™'. There's a reason we're not supposed to show porn to kids.
BRO SAME HAPPENED TO ME, so when i was 10 thr school would go every 3 weeks to the library. This is so ridiculous, making sure these books don't get into the hands of children seems fine. But the people talking about this kind of stuff wont stop there. You need to think about what you support. By banning books from libraries you're basicly violating the right to free speech. The people who are talking about this stuff think that sexual education is a bad thing, if we dump all hyper religious beliefs and go onto make actual great sex ed, I think we will see fewer rapists, fewer STD's and fewer unwanted pregnancies. On the other hand I totally agree that small children(like 10 or younger) shouldn't be able to get this education (apart from ofc the basic stuff) if their parents don't want them to. Apart from this disagreement I really enjoy your content and happy that were able to have a democratic debate about the topic.
The high school i went to wasn't even allowed to have books with pictures of non-sexual nudity. They even banned a graphic novel version of the book of Genesis. I don't know where you got this book from but its hard to believe it was ever in an elementary school library.
If you go to page 105 of the newest version, they are literally boasting about how “millions” of kids have read this book. This is disgusting. The fact that this book was for the ages 10 and up says a lot. Why do “millions” of kids need to read a book that takes their current knowledge of sexual education way too far? I'm a 13 year old girl in The Netherlands. My school gets all the books from the government. Our biology book explains how m*sturb*tion, p and stuff like that is normal. We saw naked boys and girls doing it in our book, not even cartoon. They were real humans. We were forced to look at those stuff, at first i thought it was normal because i had to know these things for when i get older. But i guess not?
my 8th grade biology book literally contained a decently accurate depiction of a female's genitals and on SexEd class they told us:
-You find out whether you are gay or straight by being in relationships with both men and women and seeing which you find more comfortable
-Porn is good because it allows you to learn about different sexualities
-Masturbation is fine and normal
-a few sex positions

We can't even talk about menstruation, some ets beside HIV or anything "normal" (for example: some guys asked about vasectomy during the class and the teacher didn't want to talk about it).
As someone who looked at certain images/videos (not sure if youtube censors comments) since 13, I fully agree with the statement that children should not be allowed to view it. From my experience, especially the way I kinda found out about that stuff, it does not turn out well for the kid. Teach them it exists, don’t encourage them to do it or look up certain videos.

Kids don't learn to be freaky as you said, it teaches them as students how to be safe and ready at what stages in their life, since sex is not needed for children at all, and everyone can wait until the age of consent(i wish universally it was around 18)

it's not even just p, and not even just in the US, there are so many things in so many different places exposed to children and those who are young that affect their decisions and thought via early onset exposure. education can be good but it and what surrounds it often keeps students in a very specific bubble, one that not even parents can reject, because it's fr everywhere, at school, on their phones, their tablets, libraries, the tv, the cinema
as someone whos still in highschool, although i haven't seen literal p in my schoolwork, we've done research papers on similar, "controversial" themes in english and science classes, like "proving" religion is only adaption, or stories with topics of politics and sexual orientation (which im not against reading for the information they have, but where's the importance??), etc. these aren't elective classes that i'm talking about. like bruh 💀
when it comes to schools themselves, and not books provided by other publishers, i feel like alot of teachers have something to do with what's being said or taught that's outside of fact, especially in public schools (which i attend), that are much more diverse and have so many varying opinions from different families, experiences and backgrounds. education should be unbiased and unspecific to topics that don't concern them
learning such things like sexuality, religion, political standings, and sex (outside of what's scientific) is a decision that families should be able to make, not the curriculum, and especially not the teachers, which is obvious but never enforced or considered, at least from my personal experience
it's so sad to hear it's already in libraries, especially since it's likely on a much bigger scale than people assume
im tryna know who is asking for these wattpad ass books 😭😭
also W video thank u!! it's so nice to see somebody talk about these things with such a platform, really appreciate it, especially for those of us still in school

i think unbiased teachings of sexuality, politics, sex ed (body parts, basic nonharmful definiton if at all, pregnancy, puberty, and when theyre older safe sex, birth control/condoms, and if the laws in their area allow it, abortion) and religion should be talked about. when children are young, they are not hateful (unless they have hateful parents) and so if you tell them "hey, straight people exist and so do lgbtq people!" they wont take it as ew gay people suck but it wont be a teacher "forcing" it onto them (not that you can). with politics you should learn them in middle/high school but only the definitions and maybe a few examples (i dont rlly have any off the top of my head but im sure u can think of "neutral" examples) and only if someone says something bad ("i like hitler/stalin", "i hate ____ people") THEN should you interfere. most of my teachers do a pretty good job at being unbiased towards it, obvs some have a slight bias but even then they never force it.
teaching religion is a really hard subject, especially if you belief in a religion or are a hardcore athiest. i say bring religion up when it comes up, when ur talking abt a civilization mention their religion, say what it is and some traditions. like when u learn abt 17th century england you kinda HAVE to talk about catholicism/protestantism.
plus if you leave stuff up to families thats how you sometimes get hateful, ignorant kids. kids are not naturally homophobic, theyre taught by parents. if a kid grows in a school environment and is shown lgbtq stuff in a positive light they usually pay no mind to it. at a young age obviously.
kids are racist because theyre taught it, and nowadays that racism is learned through consuming the wrong media, their parents, or friends. (sometimes their school if they have racist teachers but it depends). kids who are hateful against religion are usually taught it by parents or friends (or if they go to a religious school, theyre taught it there)
but it is obviously really disgusting what theyre doing here, sex ed shouldnt be taught till 2nd-3rd grade, and at that age the bare minimum nothing more. those books are still even too inappropriate for highschool. obviously highschoolers probably may recognize most of that stuff, but theyre still likely to be harmed by it.
yeah you are right, teachers should not talk about racism and homophobia , they shouldn't even teach morals like being a good person and respecting others, like that's only a thing parents can teach, because every parent is loving and caring and abusive parents dosen't exist, and all parents talk about safe sex and they don't put their kids in a "safe" bubble where bad things dosen't exists so when the bad things actually happens they end up traumatized and with several mental issues. What a fantasy world you live in.
@@incideria 2nd and 3rd grade?!? Like 8th grade maybe at earliest. At a push.

The fact that people are defending these books is disgusting. These books should not be in any school and we shouldn't even have to debate about it.
Keeping kids ignorant will NOT help them. This really seems fine to me yall are tripping 😒

ive been exposed to this content like from my childhood and particualarly is ruined a lot of my life after that anywasy i was at my school recently and found a book that had this stuff on it liek in the video and even the librarian aint giving anythin about it a few boys prolly 13 yo read the entire book in front of the teach aint havin any shame left in them
it just feels really bad living in a society were right now
anyways stay lucid
It’s a evil world we live in
This is so ridiculous, making sure these books don't get into the hands of children seems fine. Apart from this disagreement I really enjoy your content and happy that were able to have a democratic debate about the topic.
one thing is SexEd, another thing is these books
I'm 13 and lucky for me I'm homeschooled but I still feel really bad for the kids my age and younger that have to see things like this 😔
lucky
im homeschooled and plan on prob homeschooling my kids as well because if its this bad rn i cant imagine how bad its gonna get in like 10 years
bro why are these books trying to turn kids into dreamybull💀💀
The high school i went to wasn't even allowed to have books with pictures of non-sexual nudity. They even banned a graphic novel version of the book of Genesis. I don't know where you got this book from but its hard to believe it was ever in an elementary school library.
umm... he got it in the US
I am going to check my school books in the library once school resumes to see if there is any of this explicit mateiral.
If you go to page 105 of the newest version, they are literally boasting about how “millions” of kids have read this book. This is disgusting. The fact that this book was for the ages 10 and up says a lot. Why do “millions” of kids need to read a book that takes their current knowledge of sexual education way too far?
Schools are seriously spreading this shit? Damn.
What is the name of the book?
@@ujan_roy “It’s Perfectly Normal.” The “cheat sheet” is only on the paperback versions.
@@gloy oh thanks, I'm gonna check it out lol
@@ujan_roy hol up
The worst part is certainly the encouragement of this. Not only is it solicited and promoted, it’s advised and celebrated.
im homeschooling my kids
Thank you for fighting the good fight, Lucid. You are very much appreciated.
