Just a couple of tips, the reality checks and the dream journal are important. As to the journal use a voice recorder when you first wake up, and then transcribe that to paper. Also when you record your dream don't use past-tense, treat it like your still in the dream. (i.e IT'S raining, or I'AM flying) Just a few things I learned back in the early 90's when I researched lucid dreams. Sweet dreams.
Banger video 🔥 ps: what worked really well for me, is waking up in the middle of the night, waiting 30 mins and going back to bed, convincing myself that I was about to lucid dream. Give it a try 🤣
mine are always like that, my three repeating nightmares are 1: being chased by a badly drawn cut out of a giant dragon through a foregin city with my mom, then escaping it into a pool 2: Being in an indoor playpark in whiteness nothingness with a repeating room with the playpark in it, then finding my way out into a room with an infinite bench in it, then an eight foot tall spiderman walked in as my mom teleported to the other side of the infinite bench and a table appears in front of me, the giant spiderman then proceeds to try to steal some keycard from me 3: (this one is by far the worst) me and my family arrive at some swedish looking red cottage farm house with heart shaped windows lined with white planks (Yes it's that detailed) and i'm told we're going to some coctail party being held becouse the owner of the house and get this, her pet raccoon died....ok, well inside the house there's black and white checkered floors and an impossable looking staircase supported by noting and a bunch of fancy people celebrating some ladys death, i ask what she died from, well apperently she died cause whilst going upstairs she hit her poisonous chandelier.....no i'm not kidding....so then my parents tell me we should go upstairs where the bodys are becouse we can bring them back to life, i refuse and get forcefully dragged upstairs where i brush up against the death-chandelier so now it becomes psychological torture at this point becouse i think i'm going to die. So we get upstairs as my parents keep ignorig the fact i'm dying where we see the body of the lady and the raccoon posed like in an egyptia grave almost but without the theming, just equally purpoisefully looking. There's some damn coin slot where if you put a coin you can bring them back to life and i want to bring the raccoon back but my parents refuse, saying only the woman will get brought back and i'm left there crying, the end All of these i've semi consistently had since i was like 4 years old, idk man...
I lucid dream almost every night. Tip: before going to bed, set a scene in your mind and imagine different sinarios from that and when you fall asleep, you’ll hopefully be in control.
I dunno man, I do that every day and I haven't had a lucid dream in a long time. Going to sleep in the morning after waking up used to do the trick for me though, had a few lucid dreams just by doing that back in the day. Granted I haven't had any luck with that recently.
I always lucid dream, but sometimes I have a nightmare and when I realize it's a dream AS I'M DREAMING, right before I'm "put into danger" I force my self to wake up. Like, I literally slap myself in my dreams....I know, weird.
Took 3 months of consistent reality checks, sleeping healthy, and dream journaling to have my first LD. Lasted only about 30 seconds but it was completely worth it.
I've had like 3 and every single one has ended couple of seconds after realizing I'm dreaming. Although I'm really not trying properly mostly because i don't want to make a good sleep schedule
I learned how to do this as a kid. I used to have really weird and terrifying nightmares as a kid and I would always wake up sweating or running to my parents room. I eventually found out that I could recognize when I was having a nightmare and make it less scary
That's literally me, although since I can remember, I always know when I'm dreaming, but I couldn't control and sometimes couldn't even wake up, but when i was 10 if I remember correctly, I started controlling them, I just started, I don't even know how, now I don't have nightmares, because I either make myself a) befriend the monster in the dream b) Kill it or c) just make them desintegrate, and it's cool because I can control everything else too
@@alannadcarmo9279 that's me too but what i would do when something was chasing me i would just turn around at let me kill by it and boom i woke up and it was over, that was the easiest thing to do there haha
I as a kid used to have these terrifying dreams where someone was chasing me but I felt like it was really happening and I could actually control which way I ran. Then researched lucid dreaming and realized I did it naturally. Practiced doing it a lot in high school and got many, many lucid dream experiences. Unfortunately, when you realize that you are in a dream you run the risk of being aware of your real body and at that point you usually just wake up. Flying and walking through walls was quite easy. Summoning objects, shooting fireballs...that was really difficult and never could quite get that right. Looking at hands, always showed more fingers. Looking at a clock, always distorted. Walking through mirrors was exactly like The Matrix, you go into a different room. Talking to "NPCs" and showing them your powers was particularly entertaining as they gasped at awe. And lastly, talking to a deceased one and asking them what they were doing in your dream yielded the most amazing results. Mostly they just say that you are not dreaming but after pushing your luck they cave and say they are indeed in your dream. Keeping a dream journal is vital to jot down every detail no matter how sure you are that you will remember the details in the morning (you won't). Never was able to meet any celebrities in dreams though. I still have occasional lucid dreams without trying but they probably just last a few seconds. What helps is once you realize you are lucid, to actually shout "I'm lucid!" and then you feel more in control. When feeling like you're losing connection in the lucid dream it helps to rub your hands together, spin or try and teleport to another location. But overall you usually lose lucidity and wake up if you become too lucid and become aware of your real body while dreaming.
Whenever I get a lucid dream by accident, I get really excited and then after a couple seconds of trying to do do something cool, I wake up immediately after because too much excitement unfortunately.
What helped me lucid dream for the first time purposefully, was writing down “I will lucid dream tonight” on a peice of paper filling up the whole page, went to sleep thinking about what to do on my dream, woke up, counted my fingers, and then realized I was dreaming.
Fr. I want to do this but all I’m going to dream about is me being with spider-man and helping him fight crime. I had a dream that I drowned and I literally couldn’t breathe for a bit and I ended up waking up.
I had a dream where i asked one of my friends that am i dreaming and they said yes then i asked them "so i can do what ever i want?" And my friend answered to me "no you will get into trouble" and i believed that somehow 😅
I recently had a lucid dream where I was looking at my phone. This may sound boring, but it actually wasn't. I knew I was dreaming, and I was observing how my phone would behave in my dream. All the text on the screen was gibberish, and I kept looking away, looking back at the phone, and laughing at the new text that my generated. But the most interesting part is that half the text looked like it was in German. I have been learning German for about a year, and this was the first time it appeared in one of my dreams.
I just remembered once when I was in a nightmare, and things were getting scary, I told myself, "that's enough, I got to wake up now" and I did! That was a very interesting experience. Our brain is very fascinating.

A few tips for a possible second attempt: To remember dreams, it helps to wake up during REM sleep, which is when dreaming happens. One sleep cycle takes about 1hr and 30 min, so if you set an alarm for 1.5 hrs for like 3 or 4 times a night you might have better results.
I've practiced for about 4-5 weeks and managed to get one in and literally the same as yours. Step 1: Fly Step 2: Do something awesome Step 3: Get really scared and wake up For me it was flying into the sky and then getting lost in the galaxy. I woke up and right away had to tell my whole family about it.

@@danieleanzaldi Hi, I have dreams with big stories and they really feel real and I also remember them. But I wasn’t lucid or anything but I remember them almost everyday. I don’t know why I am able to do this even without trying to do steps of lucid dreaming or remembering dreams. My dreams also have quite a big of a story and I remember the feeling and it really feels like a real story I was in, but I wasn’t even lucid or trying to be lucid. And I have many returning places in my dream that I remembered from other dreams I had in the past. And another thing about the realism feeling is that sometimes when I wake up I feel confused for a second of where I am and I’m still thinking/worrying about things that happen in my dream ( sometimes, because some of my dreams include me being very late for school ). I can tell you some of mine, but what’s the meaning of being able to remember such big stories that you dreamed? Well not too big but quite big.
my lucid dream happened when i was underneath a blanket so when i woke up i was choking on the blanket though i was levitating and flying like superman than fell and woke up from i guess the suicide?
I learned controlling my dreams cuz when I was a kid I would uncontrollably wet myself every other night after dreaming that I'm peeing. Once I figured that I shouldnt pee in my dreams it stopped and I was also in control of my other unrelated dreams. Pretty insane, I never actually thought about this.
This is weird for me to read because one of the "tells" that I'm in a dream is trying to use a public bathroom that is really lacking in privacy. Usually I can use the toilet with no problem, it's just really uncomfortable because people can see me. But IRL everything is dry.
I have a similar experience but to stop myself from having nightmares. I still haven’t had a lucid dream but in around half of my nightmares, when something bad is about to happen to me, I somehow think “wait that’s not possible. I am alive and I have plot armor” and I change the bad event to have a better outcome so I don’t get hurt 😂
Weird, I feel this is very similar to my childhood and have been LD & dream chaining since I was young, when ever I would wet the bed I would pee in the dream & wake up to a wet bed, once I learnt to think about not wetting the bed so much I’d fall asleep with only that on my mind until I could wake up to go to toilet during the night. Since then I’ve been able to control my dreams.
fr! I had that problem too! Like I basically just SEE a TOILET in my dream, and it just feels like i have to do it, thinking it doesnt have anything to do in real life!@@mamabear9467
As an experienced lucid dreamer, I can assure you it gets more wild the more you master it. It can get to the point of not being able to differentiate between the real world and the dream world, since everything feels so real.
please don't say stuff like "not being able to differentiate between the real world and dream world." This is what scares people into not wanting to learn this skill, and it is simply not true. Yes, dreams feel identical to waking life, but part of being a lucid dreamer is learning how to better differentiate between waking life and dreams. Learning to lucid dream will NOT cause you to confuse dreams and reality, it will actually help you learn to better distinguish between the two states (unlike a non-lucid dreamer who confuses dreams for reality every night when they sleep). After all, it's not a lucid dream unless you know you are dreaming, right? 😉
@@luak4303 Many people are afraid of this, and its one of the main reasons people are afraid of lucid dreaming. @@timeforchange2539 if you were a lucid dreamer, you should have been able to tell reality from dreams much better than the normal person. I'm going to emphasis what I said above: It's not a lucid dream unless you KNOW that what you are currently experiencing is only a projection of your own mind. The longer you practice this skill, the wider the divide between your dreams and reality becomes (as opposed to those lines blurring together).

@@bk4402 it took me a long time to lucid dream. But I wasn't consistent with it, so that's probably why. There are a ton of different methods to try. The one that worked for me personally was Rausis.
As someone who has always lucid dreamt and had near complete control of dreams since like age 5, here are some of the coolest techniques I learned throughout childhood: 1. Rewinding dreams (it's great when you make a terrible decision within a dream and want a do-over) 2. A few techniques to wake up on command (the one I use the most is sharply turning my head to the side: it causes my head to turn in real life and then wake myself up) 3. If I'm sleeping on my side with my ear to a pillow I can listen to my heartbeat on command within dreams
I don't exactly lucid dream. Like I can't control much and the dreams flow without my input. But I can rewind or redo scenes, and if I start having a stressful or nightmarish dream I can make myself wake up. So slightly disconnected, but I have movie watcher control.
The key to lucid dreaming are actually the Reality Checks. While the dream diary is also very important, the Reality Checks are what make you realize that you are in fact dreaming, because they remind you to question yourself if you are currently asleep or awake. I think that's where most people fail, because you have to do them multiple times a day to remember to do them in dreams too, and that's hard to do
Nah. I had one without reality checks. I think the thing is to notice a difference in your environment. In my case, my white laptop was black. And that got me thinking.
@@ShayPatrickCormacTHEHUNTER yeah, it's about noticing that things are weird. If you can do it without reality checks, that's good for you. But most people - especially beginners - use the RC's to remind themselves to question their environment :)
Before watching, as someone who has a ton of lucid dreams I'd like to say one word of advice. When you are lucid dreaming, never acknowledge the fact that you are. Like you know that you are, but never actually think about that. That's because whenever I do, the whole dream collapses on itself and I am forced to wake up.
I’ve never had this problem, so this advice is back to you- No outcome is universal in a dream, different people have different problems and whenever you find yourself having a problem with waking up or loss of dream control, there’s always a way to fix it. So yeah. Your problem with waking up upon thinking about you being lucid is a completely normal and fixable problem.
@@vuice6601 I will try to fix it next time I dream. The main problem used to be that my drean would eject me in a sense. But now it's that when I acknowledge it, normally some random song starts playing in my brain or I just can no longer focus on the dream. It's weird.
@@TheBeesies Yeah I get that a lot. Have you heard of dream chaining? It’s like the vanilla WILD technique, except extremely fast, and it’s meant for re-entering a lucid dream upon a predetermined waking. The 4 steps for it are: 1. Wake up from a dream. This one needs no explaining as you can do it on accident. 2. Keep yourself sleepy and don’t tell your brain you want to stay awake (I.E. don’t move too much, try to keep your eyes closed when waking up from your lucid dream). 3. Use an anchor of choice to pay attention to for the next step. If you don’t know what an anchor is, that’s fine, you can just try to stay conscious during these next steps. 4. If you’ve succeeded in dream chaining, you should be re-entering a dream. This process is extremely easy and it’s even easier done than said. All you have to do now is wait for the lucid dream to reform and continue on your way. And that’s dream chaining really. Something additional to note is that if you think you’re about to exit your lucid dream, prepare to not move much and keep your eyes closed just incase.
@@vuice6601 yeah, like me for example, I dont know why,but i have a problem to dream at day, like in my dreams is always night, 99% of my lucid dreams was night when i was in the dream. (Sorry my english)

I started to try and lucid dream 7 years ago and kind of always did the same ritual. Now i can control most of them. As a child i used to do this unknowingly. Due to school and study issues I got insomnia and anxiety when trying to fall asleep. I remember that time and I just felt so good in those days i wanna be like that again
What REALLY helps to lucid dream more often is do to a "dream check" a couple of times a day in real life (like trying to put your finger through your hand) and then you will actually start to do that in your dream thus making it into a lucid dream.
@Milo Dog best thing to do is try to read something. In dreams the letters will be blurry if you try to read something. Same! I once had a lucid dream where me and my dear were riding horses on a beautiful sunny grass field next to a medievalish town - it was just so relaxing, I didn't even try to change it although I knew it was a lucid dream... The most I did was tell him that we should go to a trail in a rainforest, it was my favorite dream in my life, I wrote it down as soon as I woke up and I can remember it to this day (probably because of that)
I've been a lucid dreamer for like the last 5 years now, and if anyone wants advice for this, don't get too lucid. It's took me so many instances of becoming too aware of my dream and forcing myself awake. So many points I recognise that I'm in my dream, but if I keep pushing the "recognised" narrative the people around me in those dreams notice and I end up abruptly waking. I find the best way in my lucid experiences so far, is once you recognise the dream, almost let yourself fall asleep a second time (in that dream) and relax yourself - for most of these instances I can then do whatever I want in those dreams and drag the dream out so that it feels like a long experience. I somehow have a good mental memory for my dreams and can recall at least 10-15 minutes worth of dialogue to someone what happened in that dream. My whole lucid experience started as a kid with recurring nightmares (the exact same instance) and gradually being able to control it more and more and now over the years i've got really creative with my dreams.
This one time when I was dreaming I got to a point where I realized I was in a dream so I was in this pure white land scape and I was like “I need to wake up now” so I moved my torso towards the ground and the motion continued when I woke up, like I physically got up so it felt like a really smooth transition from dreaming to waking up and that was the coolest thing that's happened to me whilst dreaming.
the smoothest transition i've had from dream to wake up is randomly dreaming about being on a boat, then i fell into the water and had that falling sensation and even kind of saw myself falling into my bed (though i'm not sure if that was part of my dream or if it was me just randomly hallucinating it as i was waking up, and i don't have lucid dreams much if at all)
I once had a dream when i was walking up the stairs in my house and just went "is this a dream?" And then for some reason i realized that it was a dream without any reality checks and then i said "okay, this is a dream so i can just open my eyes and wake up." And then i woke up. Another dream i had very recently and i think it's one of the most vivid dreams I've gotten was that my brother who lives in a different city came to visit us and in that dream i thought "is this a dream?" And then i went "no, this is too real to be a dream" and so i kept dreaming and thinking that it's real. That was very cool though because it's never happened to me before that I didn't realize i was dreaming. Usually i realize that immediately.
I think I had this lucid dream where I was on this "dream yacht" (literally a yacht that had a bunch of dreaming people hanging out) sort of thing, and I saw someone sit on a stack of books and was like: wait, I'm in a dream! Yes i'm stupid Update after 8 days that I posted this comment: so I'm gaining less consciousness in my dreams but I'll try to lucid dream again
I’ve had thousands of lucid dreams in my life and they don’t really hold much novelty for me anymore tbh. They kind of just happen spontaneously. But if you want to bring them on intentionally I believe you can do this by testing if you are awake several times during the day (pinching yourself or some other test). This leads you to automatically doing the same test during your dream sleep which will propel you into lucidity. I think an interesting goal for lucid dreaming is to find a fellow lucid dreamer (that you trust) and see if you can have a shared dream experience. Some research into this strongly suggests that two people can have very similar dreams and influence each other’s dreams. I would love to see more studies on this.
being able to gain some amount of control over the dream characters, narrative, or environment sounds amazing. For some, this is an escape from reality into a magical world restricted only by their imagination. Now I understand why it's all over RUclips.

Good job Liam! Lucid dreaming takes a lot of practice, so don't give up. Also, if your dreams are not very vivid, you can shout, "Clarity Now" from within a dream and it should come into focus. If you want to do something specific in a dream like flying, you can tell yourself, "I can fly in my dreams!" and even if you are not lucid, your mind will remember you can fly etc.
I'll deffinetly be trying those tricks tho thankfully i was born gifted with an amazing dream memory (we're talking two dreams per night levels) as well as the ability of a random lucid dream

Best tips for lucid dreaming (plus an OTC drug that works better than Seroquel). 1. POWER & CONTROL in YOUR DREAM WORLD Train your imagination of imagery. - Consciously visualize random objects. - Then manipulate those objects in your imagination. This training gives you control over your dreams and gives you god-like powers, whether lucid or not. It is more enjoyable than lucidity (realizing it is a dream); because I've had dreams where I knew it was a dream but still I was afraid and powerless. But I've had dreams where I did NOT know it was a dream, but I had god-like powers (all because of this training). Before sleep, I go through the alphabet, letter by letter. I picture an animal that starts with that letter. Then I imagine that animal is the next color of the rainbow (ROY G BIV). *Example* "I see an alligator. It's a red alligator. Now I see a bear. It is an orange bear. Next, I see a cat. It is a yellow cat. Now I see a dog. It's a green dog. I see an elephant. The green dog jumps on the back of the elephant. It's a blue elephant..." The key is, you see the image. Then you consciously change it. *Example 2* I imagine myself on the beach with my friend Bruce. We are playing catch with a ball. Each throw, I call out a random color, and I can see the ball change to that color in mid-air. The important thing is, I will it to change. It is my will, and my imagination follows my will. 2. LUCIDITY Every hour in *your waking life*, ask yourself "Is this a dream?" Try to push your finger through the palm of your other hand, for test. (though in a dream it's difficult to see your hands) This practice gives you lucidity in your dreams (makes you realize it is a dream). 3. REMAINING in THE DREAM If you feel yourself waking and wish to remain in the dream, spin your body. 4. OTC Drug that Makes Conscious Dreams aka lucid dreams almost Inevitable This is what I take: amzn.to/3APrUpJ It was designed to preserve memory for people with Alzheimer's, but it's safe enough you can buy it without a prescription. It doesn't just boost memory though, it makes your imagination and visualization 10x better. And you'll notice your dreams become dramatically more vivid and under your control, *even without the above training.*
Not me haha. I dream vivid dreams every single night and always remember them. It honestly baffles me that people can just... not dream. Like that sounds so weird to me!
Wow, this is crazy! I’m actually lucky, I’ve pretty much always been able to tell I’m dreaming for my whole life, so I can’t imagine how cool that feels to do it for the first time!
I haven't been lucid in a dream for awhile. However, when I had several of them in the past, was when I'd ask myself randomly throughout the day if I was dreaming. Especially when I saw or heard something unusual. I have had lucid dreams that started to fade away, and I realized I was losing the dream, so I'd start spinning around and around. It was so cool that I could remember that advice that I had read about during my waking hours. The first lucid dream was over a year ago and I still remember it. I was in the fair from the movie The Lost Boys. Knowing I was dreaming ; I jumped to the top of the ferris wheel. From there I jumped from planet to planet before coming back to Earth. Peace and stay lucid.
I've been going at this for over 10 years and found it takes a lot of practice to change things and not get excited and wake yourself up. That's the hard part. I have set items that I go looking for once I'm awaken inside the dream: clocks, keys, transport, street names, Time of day or night, full moons (in night time dreams, very blue) and the edge of the dream where it shimmers into blackness. I also found there are a number of different types of dreams: Normal dream doesn't last long about stupid stuff, Nightmares and or sexual dreams which I found some were not instigated by me and once I challenged the demons the nightmare collapsed (lesson don't play with succubus), Messages from past family: seemed so real like a lucid dream and I knew I was in control of everything that I was asking, but the dream was not constructed by me. Messages from something a few times(maybe spirit guide or angel, I have no idea, didn't see them and didn't recognise the voice): They bring me up to a semi conscious level of a dream state from a deep sleep and give me the message. I found always try to take notice of everything, even the simplest things like mowed lawn. They will all give you hints to a much bigger picture. It's handy to draw or illustrate an item that stands out in the dream. Excellent vid, congrats it can be frustrating, but they will come more frequently the more you try.
I'm surprised in his dream he wasn't like "I wonder what would happen if I took a cardboard rocket to Mars?" Because that sounds like him in real life.
I'm a pro lucid dreamer (if that's even a thing). i can put myself to sleep at any time if i'm in a dark and quiet room and dream about whatever i want (most of the time) and the times i don't get to choose my dreams which are normally nightmares for normal ppl, i get to experience them fully aware and even see the gaps between parts of the dream you're not supposed to go to. it's funny, they're like pieces of places glued together and when you look at it from the outside it makes 0 sense, but when you're not lucid you just don't notice it. i discovered a lot of cool stuff about my brain i didn't know about this way but nobody cares, so whatever lol
Do you know how you can stay in the dream? My dream always get extremely "flowy" and I wake up before getting to control anything. I also I'm aware that I'm dreaming, but unable to control anything, like I would think I have powers, but it never really worked. Thank you so much!
@@ellyle1781 in my experience i learned that i always wake up whenever my heart starts beating faster and that happens when it gets too intense. so i trained not to react too much to stimulus from the imagery such as monsters, ghosts, death and fall. which means you gotta control your emotions first, or relax as much as possible not to increase brain/body conscious activity. provoking nightmares and getting used to scary things helps a lot
@@ellyle1781 Quick tips for Beginners to Lucid dreaming. If you keep waking up during a lucid dream try to allow yourself to dream normally and throughout the dream alter from the original “storyline”. This will make your so called character in your dream think twice before going down a certain path and then from there you can pretty much control your dream like in the real world. Quick tip though, Never look In mirrors or try not to as the majority of people that do end up turning their lucid dream into a nightmare because the mirror will make you see your worst fears and you won’t be able to understand or sympathise with them and it will almost immediately wake you up.
@@ZombieHunterZERO (pro lucid dreamer her) I have also experienced that whenever things get too intense you wake up. After a few not knowing if I was awake or dreaming anymore, whilst I was actually awake, which happened bcs I lucid dreamed too much I think (idk these things are complex and hard to explain but I f you maybe ask a good question I could explain it better), I started just doing really intense things like jumping from skyscrapers to insta leave my dream (bcs I got scared). So indeed it’s useful to remain calm to stay in your dream, but it’s also useful to do something intense to get out of it. Lucid dreams can get quite messy so this is a useful trick for me
I got it! my lucid dream: i was in a house of gold and i was like “wait im i dreaming?” So i did the same thing as liam and it worked! So i know i can control things so im thinking of making the house into Diamond and it actually did!!

@@jooabergman207 Hi, I have dreams with big stories and they really feel real and I also remember them.
I had a dream where i asked one of my friends that am i dreaming and they said yes then i asked them "so i can do what ever i want?" And my friend answered to me "no you will get into trouble" and i believed that somehow 😅
I dream more creatively, more lucidly than this (always have), and I have taken to waking myself up through sleep talking (very clearly) in the past few years (not intentionally). While I enjoy Liam's videos, I could never bring myself to share the content of my sleep and dreams the way does. Thanks for sharing so openly and so concisely. Like everyone else says, we appreciate your editing.
I used to have alot of lucid dreams (I didn't know what they where at the time) . The control aspect is a bit fuzzy and dosn't always make sense. Some times I feel the trigger for control is based on things like fear or pleasure
@@ExhaustedPeanut how can I do it constantly. At the age of 13 I had this type of dream and It was the best feeling ever, but only happened once. Now sometimes I have bad dreams with bad endings or good dreams but I can't control the outcome. Is there something I can do to make this happen to me more casually😅😅?
I have a lot of lucid dreams in general, in one of them it was like a nightmare, and in my dream I was like.. "wait, is this a dream? If it is, I shouldn't feel any pain" and then I pinched myself and realized I didn't feel anything and so I was like "I want to wake up" and I started slapping myself to get ouf of this dream. But instead of waking up in reality, in my dream, I woke up in my room but I was still dreaming. It was so weird and it happens to me a lot. Where I like, wake up in my room but I don't actually wake up. It's freaking terrifying when it happens bc it's usually a loop. Like, I try to wake up over and over but I still wake up in a dream. But yeah, that's about it. Idk what this means, I hope it's something good since I haven't really researched enough to know about dream analysis stuff sooo yeah.
I love lucid dreaming. I can narrate, make myself go from first person to 3rd, and talk to myself about me dreaming (which is kinda creepy 😅). I can also remember where I left off and continue the dream sometimes. (it basically started off when I was daydreaming after I woke up and then I could take a daydream until I fell asleep, which then let me take control my dreams.)😌💭😁👍🏾
once I had a lucid dream where I went outside and saw a few guys around a campfire. I talked to them and then flew away to a city. I saw only one person in the city and asked the person if I was dreaming. he said yes. i responded with "cool".
"heyyy uh dude so i know you arent supposed to tell the dreaming person they are dreaming but uhh... like... am i?" "yes. yes you are dreaming." "cool." "yeah. happens" "nice"
You inspired me to restart writing my dreams again. Before i often had lucid dreams. Even if they aren't lucid ones its still nice to rememmber more dreams and have fun each night with them. Lucid dreaming helps you to control your nightmares also, or at least fly away from danger in the dream
I wave too. Whenever i just wake up. I wave. For no reason. Or when i’m sleepwalking, i wave. I’d be waken up by my dad, checking up on me, and i will always wave to him. I wouldn’t say anything. I’d just wave.
One time I had a lucid dream where the main objective was to get out of the dream. I was going to go go-karting and I really didn’t want to miss it Or be late. In the dream I was asking people if they knew about lucid dreaming and they were just like, “ just go to sleep.” I tried sleeping on the floor but that didn’t work. So I decided to try and ask somebody directions for a hotel and when I got them I found this really fancy hotel. I went to sleep, but soon the hotel alarm clock started going off. So I was like, “ why does this hotel have an alarm clock?” Until eventually The dream ended and I realise that it was my actual alarm clock that went off.
yeah i had the same for when i was on holiday, i was at a petrol station with the car which was being wirelessly being fueled somehow during the night. Then it suddenly became day in the dream where i didnt think much of it. But woke up to it being the light turned on in my room.
I remember a lucid dream I had once, it acted like a normal day without eating until something completely absurd happened and I just Mario triple jumped into the air and flew the rest of the time. It was basically awesome because I was able to look straight up while flying and then STAND up as if I was on solid ground. It was just so cool because I could look one way and imagine that the other direction changed too. Coolest stuff ever.
I USED TO GET SO MANY LUCID DREAMS My favorite was one that started where I was being chased by snakes through a jungle. At that point I suddenly realized, "oh shit, this is a dream" and so I promptly flew out of the greenery, feeling happy I could control things. A short moment later the snakes started to fly after me too, so I remember using my will power to teleport me to Hogwarts! Once there I have a vague memory of getting sorted into Hufflepuff and going to a common room with lots of yellow pillows. But the best part: I found Luna Lovegood sitting at the edge of the castle, legs dangling off of an open stone ledge. The archway above the ledge was huge, and gave a beautiful view of the sky and the mountains in the far distance. I remember walking over and sitting next to her, my legs dangling out into the fresh air as well as we talked. We just talked for a while-I hardly remember what it was about-but it was peace at it's finest. We watched the sunset in front of us as our quiet conversation continued, and then I woke up. Best dream I've ever had, hands down.
I’ve never studied this kind of thing, but I think I can partially do it. I can often alter dreams I’m in or even tell another character in my dream that they are part of a dream. I can also tell myself when to wake up, though this became a sleep problem for a while.
If you think of anything you are scared of then the dream starts taking its control back and turning into a nightmare even if you know its a dream. And dont EVER like EVER spawn a mirror there Because its a dream right? What are you gonna See on the mirror? Yeah really draumatizing stuff. Like it doesnt have To be gore or mosnters but it can draumatize you.
@@jooabergman207 lucid dreams are really all about expectations. If you expect something to happen, it will happen. If people tell others that looking in a mirror will show them scary monstrousities, they will believe and set a negative expectation, thus fueling the cycle. There are specific techniques you can use to get lucid dreams more consistently i donno if u used them since you didn't mention anything about it. Btw Liam thank u for making such great content. You always come up with the coolest ideas.
Pretty impressive that you could control the dream in your first LD. Just realizing it is a dream is not always enough to give a person serious control, but you had quite a bit! Impressive! I get that it's a lot of work, and keeping a dream journal is time consuming, which is usually the excuse I have to stop, especially if I am having boring dreams for a stretch. There are lots of other techniques (some of which are garbage, and some of which work better for some people than others), so you have to figure out what works best for you.... Anyway, you sounded so excited about the one you had, I don't know why you wouldn't keep at it. Maybe I am writing this to encourage myself to be more diligent and consistent about it.
I really think you should keep trying to Lucid dream. It took me about 6 months to have my first lucid dream but after that, every time you try lucid dreaming it gets a bit easier. Right now I have a lucid dream about once every two weeks and it's a really crazy experience.
My most memorable lucid dream happened when I was in middle school, and that was my dream's backdrop. All my classmates were in the parking lot, so I turned them all into zombies then jumped on their heads like stepping stones, then flew away because the zombies were freaky.
it only hit me today that i had a lucid dream about 2 years ago - and it was absolutely terrifying: In the dream i was in kitchen and the hallway that leads to my toilet. I was alone, but i heard people around me, like my parents then i knew i was in a dream cause that wasnt possible at all. Then i went to the hallway, opened the door that should lead to my toilet, but instead im met with my kitched and hallway again. Then i knew for sure i was dreaming. This is whats terrifying: I felt trapped, and since i knew that was a dream i tried to open my eyes forcefully with my fingers, and when i did i saw my bedroom where i was sleeping then my eyes closed and i was back in the dream, and i was terrified. I punched the wall and there i saw that i was above the clouds. I fell all the way down to the floor and when i hit the floor i woke up and its like my heart was pumping really hard (i cannot really explain it well here, but trust me that what happened was way more terrifiying that ive explained here)
I’ve been keeping a dream journal since February third of this year, and oh BOY my dreams are so weird- The first entry is literally this 😭 “I don’t remember much about my dream last night, except cleaning Cobalt’s (my bird) cage and something about a bacon lettuce cheeseburger.” LIKE BRUH-
Lucid dreaming is worth it in the end. So far this year, I’ve had two but it’s been worth it. I do reality checks like plug my nose during the day, and if I can’t breathe through my nose, then I’m awake, but if I’m truly dreaming, I will be able to breathe through my nose.
I do this myself & am only able to lucid dream about once a year, so your effort of 100 days was actually a great success 👍🙌😀 The coolest one I ever did was when I decided to do parkour, but I did it in a big way - literally across the tops of skyscrapers like Spiderman. Just a couple of tips, the reality checks and the dream journal are important. As to the journal use a voice recorder when you first wake up, and then transcribe that to paper. Also when you record your dream don't use past-tense, treat it like your still in the dream. mine are always like that, my three repeating nightmares are
1: being chased by a badly drawn cut out of a giant dragon through a foregin city with my mom, then escaping it into a pool
2: Being in an indoor playpark in whiteness nothingness with a repeating room with the playpark in it, then finding my way out into a room with an infinite bench in it, then an eight foot tall spiderman walked in as my mom teleported to the other side of the infinite bench and a table appears in front of me, the giant spiderman then proceeds to try to steal some keycard from me
3: (this one is by far the worst) me and my family arrive at some swedish looking red cottage farm house with heart shaped windows lined with white planks (Yes it's that detailed) and i'm told we're going to some coctail party being held becouse the owner of the house and get this, her pet raccoon died....ok, well inside the house there's black and white checkered floors and an impossable looking staircase supported by noting and a bunch of fancy people celebrating some ladys death, i ask what she died from, well apperently she died cause whilst going upstairs she hit her poisonous chandelier.....no i'm not kidding....so then my parents tell me we should go upstairs where the bodys are becouse we can bring them back to life, i refuse and get forcefully dragged upstairs where i brush up against the death-chandelier so now it becomes psychological torture at this point becouse i think i'm going to die. So we get upstairs as my parents keep ignorig the fact i'm dying where we see the body of the lady and the raccoon posed like in an egyptia grave almost but without the theming, just equally purpoisefully looking. There's some damn coin slot where if you put a coin you can bring them back to life and i want to bring the raccoon back but my parents refuse, saying only the woman will get brought back and i'm left there crying, the end

Ayo Saturn whatup lmao.
@Jimmy Littleton LMAO I REMEMBER LISTENING TO THAT IN THIRD GRADE.

To remember dreams, it helps to wake up during REM sleep, which is when dreaming happens. One sleep cycle takes about 1hr and 30 min, so if you set an alarm for 1.5 hrs for like 3 or 4 times a night you might have better results.
He’ll get better results but not better sleep though

I've practiced for about 4-5 weeks and managed to get one in and literally the same as yours.
Step 1: Fly
Step 2: Do something awesome
Step 3: Get really scared and wake up
For me it was flying into the sky and then getting lost in the galaxy. I woke up and right away had to tell my whole family about it.
I’ve been trying for 4 years 😂😂
I’m getting serious about it now tho

one day I decided to cover my nose with my fingers in a dream and still could breath through it

I flew then used the force but my dream went on I didn’t get scared and wake up.

I did this! I just didn’t put 2 and 2 together. I learned I shouldn’t pee in my dreams.

I agree I did lucid dreaming and I couldn't tell reality from dreaming at times. I thought this was dangerous. So I quite.

As someone who has always lucid dreamt and had near complete control of dreams since like age 5, here are some of the coolest techniques I learned throughout childhood:
1. Rewinding dreams (it's great when you make a terrible decision within a dream and want a do-over)
2. A few techniques to wake up on command (the one I use the most is sharply turning my head to the side: it causes my head to turn in real life and then wake myself up)
@@GalaxyXPLR Yeah I know. I'm just saying it can work without RCs as well for some people.

The 4 steps for it are:

Sometimes I get dreams where I see myself in third person.
@@devika2545 I read all the time in my dreams, it's never blurry or otherwise difficult; literally last night I had a dream that was mostly based around reading text, because in it I got (and was trying to deal with) a computer virus.
My whole lucid experience started as a kid with recurring nightmares (the exact same instance) and gradually being able to control it more and more and now over the years i've got really creative with my dreams.

the smoothest transition i've had from dream to wake up is randomly dreaming about being on a boat, then i fell into the water and had that falling sensation and even kind of saw myself falling into my bed (though i'm not sure if that was part of my dream or if it was me just randomly hallucinating it as i was waking up, and i don't have lucid dreams much if at all)

Another dream i had very recently and i think it's one of the most vivid dreams I've gotten was that my brother who lives in a different city came to visit us and in that dream i thought "is this a dream?" I’ve had thousands of lucid dreams in my life and they don’t really hold much novelty for me anymore tbh.

Best tips for lucid dreaming (plus an OTC drug that works better than Seroquel).
1. POWER & CONTROL in YOUR DREAM WORLD
Train your imagination of imagery.
It's a blue elephant..."
The key is, you see the image.
2. LUCIDITY Every hour in *your waking life*, ask yourself "Is this a dream?"
Try to push your finger through the palm of your other hand, for test. (though in a dream it's difficult to see your hands)
This practice gives you lucidity in your dreams (makes you realize it is a dream).
3. REMAINING in THE DREAM
If you feel yourself waking and wish to remain in the dream, spin your body.
4. OTC Drug that Makes Conscious Dreams aka lucid dreams almost Inevitable
This is what I take: amzn.to/3APrUpJ
It was designed to preserve memory for people with Alzheimer's, but it's safe enough you can buy it without a prescription.
It doesn't just boost memory though, it makes your imagination and visualization 10x better. And you'll notice your dreams become dramatically more vivid and under your control, *even without the above training.*

Same here. I usually scream aloud to wake myself up
@@ellyle1781 Quick tips for Beginners to Lucid dreaming.
Its weird how i got the Same dream where i left Off like months ago it first happened and i was always cabaple of flying there and last time i got there i wasnt able to fly or control anything? It was weird like i could basically floatfor a while and go up for a bit and just land on my front Side.
@@jooabergman207 Hi, I have dreams with big stories and they really feel real and I also remember them.
Some times I feel the trigger for control is based on things like fear or pleasure
the fact that I can already lucid dream at the age of 9 is nuts, I didn't know that alot of people can't control their dreams. I'm pretty glad I can.
Mhm, same I've had one every night since I was like 5. I don't use dream journals or any of that, and can do time dilation and layering n stuff.
@@vaaara yeah, pretty crazy aye?
i used to too. sleep paralyzis triggered it for me tho
@@TheRealBillix that's the good thing about it too, u can get out of sleep paralysis easily.
I’m already psyched this looks awesome!!
Props to Liam for being that dedicated to stick with it for 96 days
Me: oh no I don’t know if I in a drem or not
Liam: HAHA CONTROL GO BRRR
Lol
Looooool
I used to have lucid dreams all the time when I was younger, I never realized how unlikely they are
I have them for like 2 hours when im sleeping, then the rest of the dream i cant control
Same i lucid every now and then
same
I love lucid dreaming.
"heyyy uh dude so i know you arent supposed to tell the dreaming person they are dreaming but uhh... like... am i?"
"yes. yes you are dreaming."
"cool."
"yeah. happens"
"nice"

You inspired me to restart writing my dreams again. Before i often had lucid dreams. Even if they aren't lucid ones its still nice to rememmber more dreams and have fun each night with them. Lucid dreaming helps you to control your nightmares also, or at least fly away from danger in the dream
Liam is a fckn legend. He spends 100 days trying to have a lucid dream and makes a 5 min video.
Ye
In the dream I was asking people if they knew about lucid dreaming and they were just like,
“ just go to sleep.” I tried sleeping on the floor but that didn’t work.
I am loving this new frequent upload schedule!
I USED TO GET SO MANY LUCID DREAMS
My favorite was one that started where I was being chased by snakes through a jungle.
Liam: Makes a video over a 100 day period.
video: 5 minutes long.
Well... I actually have a lucid dream once almost every week and I learnt to remember them, control, and wake up when I want to, kinda epic ngl
4:34 Manz really went into creative mode.
when get dreams rarely and when i get them i can control what i do and see and how i see so yea good to see more people like me
I’ve never studied this kind of thing, but I think I can partially do it. I can often alter dreams I’m in or even tell another character in my dream that they are part of a dream. I can also tell myself when to wake up, though this became a sleep problem for a while.
Lucid dreaming is actually a great way to face your fears being able to control your dreams shows that the fear has no power over you
If you think of anything you are scared of then the dream starts taking its control back and turning into a nightmare even if you know its a dream.
I for example, have looked multiple times in mirrors during lucid dreams, all i saw was either a different version of myself, or nothing, or something else entirely.
Only advice I can give is, don't use toilets in dreams lmao

You did it!! Keep going, it's so much fun!!
Liam: "What if you got stuck inside your dream and then you were just living your dream?"
Me: Sounds scary ngl
Also Liam: "Okay, I'm cool with that!"
Liam, you are NOT alone, I get EVEN WEIRDER dreams! Your dreams are seriously good!
I really think you should keep trying to Lucid dream. It took me about 6 months to have my first lucid dream but after that, every time you try lucid dreaming it gets a bit easier. Right now I have a lucid dream about once every two weeks and it's a really crazy experience.

Yesssss
it only hit me today that i had a lucid dream about 2 years ago - and it was absolutely terrifying:
In the dream i was in kitchen and the hallway that leads to my toilet. I was alone, but i heard people around me, like my parents
then i knew i was in a dream cause that wasnt possible at all. Then i went to the hallway, opened the door that should lead to my toilet, but instead im met with my kitched and hallway again. Then i knew for sure i was dreaming. This is whats terrifying:
I felt trapped, and since i knew that was a dream i tried to open my eyes forcefully with my fingers, and when i did i saw my bedroom where i was sleeping then my eyes closed and i was back in the dream, and i was terrified. I punched the wall and there i saw that i was above the clouds. I fell all the way down to the floor and when i hit the floor i woke up and its like my heart was pumping really hard
(i cannot really explain it well here, but trust me that what happened was way more terrifiying that ive explained here)

Lucid dreaming is worth it in the end. So far this year, I’ve had two but it’s been worth it. I do reality checks like plug my nose during the day, and if I can’t breathe through my nose, then I’m awake, but if I’m truly dreaming, I will be able to breathe through my nose.
Your videos are honestly the highlight of my day❤️😊
I do this myself & am only able to lucid dream about once a year, so your effort of 100 days was actually a great success 👍🙌😀
