This gives me chills because i played the game for over 20 years because of this type passion. If you’ve never fallen in love with a game enough to die for it then you’ll never understand. That Titans team along with the Rams and Vikings in the same era were such a fun brand of football to watch. QB’s will huge arms going balls to the wall and playmakers for them all over the field.

The athletes were HARDER men in the 90s and early 2000s. The game was played more physically. EG literally couldn't play his game today without getting fined out of his game checks every week for lowering various parts if his body as a RB in today's game. Those defenses like BAL that were trying to stop EG couldn't hit him those ways in today's game either. And since men are bigger and faster now, maybe the rule changes are for the best (?) But players from that era, what I grew up watching, were just nasty between the lines.

Ray had a better d-line than Eddie had o-line so it wasn't very fair from the start TBH. It was a lot closer than you think, Ray was better all-time but George did get 10% of his career yards from the Ravens alone, above his average per game vs the Ravens so he ate plenty.

This rivalry made me fall in love with Baltimore football. The rule changes and greed have sucked that love from me since. Rarely do i finish a game anymore bc it feels like a watered down throwing fest anymore. 1000yds rushing was slowing becoming not enough to deem a back as good. Now its a guy is lucky to be a single featured back for his team and 1000 is a lot again.

Intense game and it only got worse from then on. Must see live games. I still can't stand the Ravens all these years later because of those games. Really miss them being in our division.

Prior to this video, I didn't know who Eddie George was. I heard a story of him while watching Undisputed Skip & Shannon with Ray guest appearing, so I looked him up and it brought me here. Ray Lewis is arguably one of the greatest LBs of all time and one of the most feared. Most cannot even look Ray in the eyes and not flinch, much less from across the field knowing he's coming for you. Eddie not only didn't flinch, but came at him. Even a dislocated shoulder couldn't stop Eddie. They must have had legendary battles.
2000-01 year was a big year for the sport of football..Ravens played Titans three times, and Ravens got the best of them at Tennessee..Good football movies, The Replacements and Remember The Titans came out!!

Prior to this video, I didn't know who Eddie George was. I heard a story of him while watching Undisputed Skip & Shannon with Ray guest appearing, so I looked him up and it brought me here. Ray Lewis is arguably one of the greatest LBs of all time and one of the most feared. Most cannot even look Ray in the eyes and not flinch, much less from across the field knowing he's coming for you. Eddie not only didn't flinch, but came at him. Even a dislocated shoulder couldn't stop Eddie. They must have had legendary battles.

2000-01 year was a big year for the sport of football..Ravens played Titans three times, and Ravens got the best of them at Tennessee..Good football movies, The Replacements and Remember The Titans came out!!
