ok I finished the whole video now and it made my day. 😄 also I still have a emotional breakdown when I watch this musical no matter how often I watch it lol
It's so funny to me that this felt nostalgic to you watching it for the first time, when watching your reactions to these have been super nostalgic for me, as someone who was super into AVPM and AVPS over a decade ago when they first came out. And now that JK has shown her entire ass, I think I'm more nostalgic for these than actual Harry Potter. They feel like a time capsule of the late '00s/early '10s in the best way.
I love when we get to see nick in things! I highly recommend “Ani” because he plays a mainish character and it’s hilarious. It’s a musical but the characters don’t sing, the band does. It doesn’t get much love because it was the same time as trail to Oregon but if you are a Star Wars fan it’s hilarious!
I really like that they established the way Ron scares Ginny is an actual clap and not meant to look like slapping. It adds so much unspoken depth to the family
Oh, about the redvines thing: So, a person at the redvines' company (the manager or someone? I don't remember correctly) had a daughter who was obsessed with AVPM. So they sent a full package of redvines to Team Starkid, and they used it as an unofficial placement for redvines.. the joke being that they actually taste disgusting.
SNAPE GOT DRUNK CAUSE HE COULDN'T BEAR TO SEND HARRY TO HIS DEATH SOBER! Also, The Guys Like Potter tour versions are better in ma opinion (except hoco cause that is the same as this)
I'm so glad that you loved the show. It's one I've only seen it once, but it is indeed quite a nostalgic ride. Side note: a musical I've recently found and fallen in love with and want to suggest to add to your long docket is Fangirls the Musical. The cast recording just came out and it is so amazing to listen to. It gives a comedic take on fangirl culture and how the world sees fangirls, especially boy band fangirls. It's a great show and I can't wait to see what you do next!
AVPS is the best of the Harry Potter musicals. I'm a sucker for a dance break in the middle of a song, and this one has a dance break in almost every song so it kinda wins by default lmao. Also this reminds me of when I was walking near my student accommodation one evening two years ago, and I heard someone singing along to Stutter through their open window, and I just really hope they were doing the dance routine too because it's iconic.
i´m just gonna say it because i havet seen it in the comments. The actor who plays lucius is the same who plays cedric diggory in the shows (and later mc gonagall) and i think that is awesome
Wait Peter IS the picture?????? I never noticed- Also, remember the scene when Hermione hugs Ron before the match? Focus on Ron´s broomstick the next time you watch it :)
This was so good! I'm excited to see you react to A Very Potter Senior Year since it's 10x funnier considering that it's live and has so many bloopers!
The music in this show is so awesome. Probably my favorite out of all the Starkid Shows and pretty high up in just musicals overall. I can't really explain what makes it so special, but every single song in this show is brilliant. I don't feel that way about any other show they've done. There's always at least one song I don't really care for. Darren is such a brilliant song writer and he's surprisingly pretty underrated in the Starkid community.
I really like your reactions, because they are so much similar as were mine, when I first saw these musicals. :) And I don't know if you like StarWars but you should really see ANI. It's awesome Starkid musical where main character is Darth Wader. Also even better - Holy Musical Batman. That has probably the most top costumes and jokes and songs.

@@Barbara2.0 Truly, so. many. tissues. It was the end of this musical series, the Harry Potter canon was 'over' [Cursed Child/Fantastic Beasts/whatever's next weren't on the fandom's horizon], Darren was on that G.L.E.E. & it seemed like _his_ final goodbye - just *FEELS EVERYWHERE*
Me in 2010, 18 years old, seeing Joe Walker appear in a pink dress and makeup: this better not awaken anything in me
🤣
Oh boy you really need to watch Senior Year it is even more nostalgic and it plays with a lot of what the fandom was feeling at the time which was right after the last movie
Hopefully you will love it too, thank you for making these videos they give me life
Thank YOU for watching ❤
Not over yet is such a good song istggggg. But I can't choose a fav 😅😂
Here's my rambling:
The platform man is one of the best characters!
This musical is essentially a RedVine advert
ITS HARRY PO'AHHH
We all love Joeyy
Starkid Snape is the best
To Have a Home is sooo good ughhh
Joe Walker Umbridge....... Just.....
I ONLY EAT PROTEIN SHAKES FALCON EGGS AND ROCCKKSSSSS
Ugh Draco is such a beannnnn
🎶 Hermione can't draw Hermione can't draw 🎶
~Lupin can't sing~
The Coolest Girl is so nice for her character
I want to be hugged by Hedwig🥺🥺
Jim Povolo.... Xe's such a treasure
Those Voices 😭😭😭
Omg I'm so excited! Some of my all time favorite starkid songs are from this show, like Days of Summer never fails to Destroy me. Your reactions to musicals are always my favorites!
I'm so glad you're videos are getting longer and longer! I really like them!
Also congrats on the new apartment!!!!
Thank you, lovely 😊
ok I finished the whole video now and it made my day. 😄 also I still have a emotional breakdown when I watch this musical no matter how often I watch it lol
I hear you feel the same
It's so funny to me that this felt nostalgic to you watching it for the first time, when watching your reactions to these have been super nostalgic for me, as someone who was super into AVPM and AVPS over a decade ago when they first came out. And now that JK has shown her entire ass, I think I'm more nostalgic for these than actual Harry Potter. They feel like a time capsule of the late '00s/early '10s in the best way.
UMBRIDGE IS COMING LET GO!!!!!!! Your reaction was everything
yeah, starkid and avpm/avps are just as nostalgic for me as the books/movies. i love them so much :')
I love when we get to see nick in things! I highly recommend “Ani” because he plays a mainish character and it’s hilarious. It’s a musical but the characters don’t sing, the band does. It doesn’t get much love because it was the same time as trail to Oregon but if you are a Star Wars fan it’s hilarious!
i just wanna point out, Darren Criss wrote all the music + lyrics in this show, as well as Starship
I really like that they established the way Ron scares Ginny is an actual clap and not meant to look like slapping. It adds so much unspoken depth to the family
Oh, about the redvines thing:
So, a person at the redvines' company (the manager or someone? I don't remember correctly) had a daughter who was obsessed with AVPM. So they sent a full package of redvines to Team Starkid, and they used it as an unofficial placement for redvines.. the joke being that they actually taste disgusting.

Lucius FLYING is the most intimidating thing ever, I’m crapping my pants
"Didja get mah text, Dumbahdore?" 😂
SNAPE GOT DRUNK CAUSE HE COULDN'T BEAR TO SEND HARRY TO HIS DEATH SOBER! Also, The Guys Like Potter tour versions are better in ma opinion (except hoco cause that is the same as this)
a "fervor dream" is the perfect explanation to the whole trilogy sjskjsjsksj
I'm so glad that you loved the show. It's one I've only seen it once, but it is indeed quite a nostalgic ride.
Side note: a musical I've recently found and fallen in love with and want to suggest to add to your long docket is Fangirls the Musical. The cast recording just came out and it is so amazing to listen to. It gives a comedic take on fangirl culture and how the world sees fangirls, especially boy band fangirls. It's a great show and I can't wait to see what you do next!
Fangirls have been all over my Twitter feed. I really need to check it out. Thanks, Michael!
I remember watching this when I was like 10. This is core memories and so part of the Harry Potter experience for me
AVPS is the best of the Harry Potter musicals.
“if he says he’s- mmmmHHHHRRRHMMM” same girl 14:50
Barbara talking about Seamus. Me thinking about Avpsy :
"SHHHHAME ON YOU SS(sound like sh) SEAMUS!"
My brother and I decided to rewatch all six LOTR/Hobbit movies recently and seeing Lucius in this video just reminded me so strongly of Thranduil 😂
hey after you've watched all the starkid shows, you need to watch Homecoming for the 10 year anniversary. It was so emotional and nostalgic.
Absolutely!
Wait Peter IS the picture?????? I never noticed-
Also, remember the scene when Hermione hugs Ron before the match? Focus on Ron´s broomstick the next time you watch it :)
Oh I noticed that ;) hahaha
Nick Lautner
27:42 To be fair - imagine someone just Casually throwing to the Garbage a freaking Horcrox!
A Very Potter Sequel is the only one that I'll watch more that 4 times
I’m glad you liked It’s Not Over Yet. Sometimes i feel like it’s a bit underrated, so it’s nice to see it get some love
I will always like this one better than the others
Omg LIVING for your reaction to umbridge
The end of "To Have A Home" gave me literal goose bumps
This was so good! I'm excited to see you react to A Very Potter Senior Year since it's 10x funnier considering that it's live and has so many bloopers!
I literally beg you to watch the third one asap! It’s soooooo good, I know you will love it! Xxx
No need to beg, it's coming ;)
@@Barbara2.0 omg yesss!! I’m sooo excited!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I do think A Very Potter Senior Year end with such a great sendoff to the series.
I feel the same, there's not one song I dislike/don't care for in this
HELLO YES I'M HERE HI BARBARA
Hi! :)
Omg u should watch the potion master's corner Snape did together with this show. It's everything. The i just made a friend moment Snape does is life.
I have to remind myself to not stare at Umbridge. Because, you know!? The last shreds of dignity as a Potterhead. But then I see Joe...
Former college Quidditch player, that Quidditch scene is what we thought we looked like, LOL
Hahahahaha can confirm that I played a few times too and felt exactly like that xD
dylan: appears
you: love of my lifeeeeee
me: sAMEEEE!
I see the video is 45 minutes long and I go YESSS
Hahahaha much love ❤
This musical introduced me to starkid and to musicals!!! It's the first one i watched and i love It
That's so cool!
I really like your reactions, because they are so much similar as were mine, when I first saw these musicals. :)
And I don't know if you like StarWars but you should really see ANI. It's awesome Starkid musical where main character is Darth Wader.
Also even better - Holy Musical Batman. That has probably the most top costumes and jokes and songs.
I would love you to react to the Broadway cast recording of cats or watch the actual stage production with Elaine Page
36:15 epic starship reference lol
Joe Moses as Snape is the best Snape, you can't change my mind.
Oh man, if you love Luna, you've got a right treat waiting for you in Senior Year, I can't wait to see your reaction 😁
