- Hi friends, honestly I've been wanting to make this video for a year now but didn't know how to start. Today I wanted to share a heart to heart and things that have been weighing on me. Hey girl. I’m semi on the same boat. Born in FL but my mom migrated from Honduras back in the late 80s. She’s currently stuck back in Honduras due to her immigration interview and the pandemic pretty much ruined everything. It’s been difficult being alone here. But you got this! You have our support and blessings! I can definitely say you posting this made me feel less alone and that I can finally relate to someone dealing with immigration and the toll that it takes.

Hi Ally, I've been watching your videos since the early days and it's been great seeing you grow over the years. Please take the time you need to feel better mentally, emotionally, physically. You have to put yourself first. Uploading once a week is more than enough, please don't feel pressured like you need to upload more when you're not feeling it. A lot of this was very relatable with the conflicting expectations from asian vs western cultures so you are definitely not alone. I hope you feel better soon 💗

I am a first generation Chinese American and it is very hard to manage things for your parents, it's like living multiple lives. I just finished my first year of medical school and actually living with my fiance's parents and sister, so it is similar to still living at home. I do feel torn at times because I feel like I should be living on my own or just my partner.I can definitely relate
