This is very relatable when it comes to the words. I’m constantly confused in conversations, and I mentally cannot understand words when in songs unless I see the lyrics. I’m not joking
“What would a sweet pea taste like”. Sugar-snap peas. The taste less squishy and paste-y, more crunchy and juicy, and they taste like if cucumbers were sweet. Also best served warm, steamed. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Princess Nancy for some reason, although I knew the sweat pea was a flower, I still thought people were referring to sugar-snap peas when talking about people. Idk what weird mental gymnastics I did to keep that idea going, but whatever🤷
Slips eat the whole pod for sure, the pod is where half the sweetness is kept. The peas are nice, but the pod is top tier. If anyone reading this comment later is confused, just think of eating S-Snap peas like eating string beans instead of peas, it’s closer to that, but like, 100000% more good😋
dumb thing: When I was younger, I used to believe that one story buildings couldn't catch fire because on tv and books I only ever saw multi-story buildings on fire. I was afraid to have sleepovers with friends if they lived in a two story home
When I was 4 I would ask how old I was multiple times. I did not know I was 4 and thought I was 1 so I tried to figure out how and I remember saying “Maybe there are secret birthdays or something and it was stupid.
(obviously a joke) it's true, my proof is that the apartment room next to me ended up catching on fire, and my apartment is 2story (obviously, it's an apartment)
When I was a kid, my dad was burning brush and it got out of control. I put on my rubber galoshes and went out to stomp out the fire. My parents asked what I was doing, and I said it's okay, these are waterproof, so that means they are fireproof, too.

@@NoOne-ri7tw Quantifiable means that you can translate something from qualitative to quantitative to typically understand it better. Or, in simpler words: Convert something into numbers to comprehend that better. For example, it's hard to make intelligence quantative; so we just say: "This person is very smart, because he can understand Einstein's General Relativity." This would be a qualitative way of understanding intelligence: defining how much there is of it without using numbers, and rather defining it using qualitative values (Understanding general relativity is qualitative, meaning a quality). Now, if I were to make this quantifiable, that means I'd be able to understand how much intelligence one has through quantative/Numeric means: like IQ! We use IQ in numbers, we know how much intelligence one IQ represents, so we can more easily understand how intelligent an individual is by just saying he or she has X amount of IQ (X, a variable, being equal to whatever number you put in: 100, 134, 123, etc...). Synonym for Quantifiable: Quantity Synonym for Qualitative: Quality
@@imadethisaccounttowatchage1699 that was a weird roundabout way to define quantifiable and you're just making it more confusing. also quantity isn't a synonym to quantifiable, it's the root word. do not be afraid to use a dictionary. while you clearly personally understand the word, it would appear explanations don't come naturally to you. and that's okay, let me be clear. thank you for sharing your knowledge anyway.
2:25 Well when I originally thought of "sweetpea" I assumed they meant someone who's "sweet" and tiny and adorable like a "pea". I figured it originated from referring to their toddlers, who are sweet and tiny like a pea. Or a "sweetpea." Honest to God didn't know it was a flower till now
me, a four year old at my gramma's, thinking that "hold your horses" meant picking up all my horse toys and carrying them around until my parents were ready to go home
There actually is such a thing as "sweet pea" that a pea in which is sweet. Peas have natural sugars in them in which gives them a sweet flavor. I realized this when we got some cans of peas from the store that said "Sweet Pea" on it and thought of this video. So, yeah. There are peas that are sweet. It might be all peas . . . I don't know. I'm not a vegetable expert.
Yeah and there’s a type of pea called a sugar snap pea, though with that the pea itself is a basic pea taste and the shell is actually what tastes sweet and good
@@animalsandiphones Yeah, I know, but there's also "sweet pea" as the vegetable. No additives like he thought there were in the video, it's just called that because of the natural sugars.

I knew the sweet pea flowers existed, yet I always think of the food.

Same but I blame it on not being a native speaker, just took it literally
@@dr.cornchip5562 its a meme
Fabr a I blame it on being a native speaker, I took it literally too. English is on some weird drugs
Or raw, fresh from the pod. Or just eat the whole pod
That's what I thought a sweet pea was
Awkward Ukulele facts

*Calls himself stupid*
*correctly uses the word quantifiable*
thats the fucking mood. difference between stupid an dumb
What does quantifiable even mean
@@NoOne-ri7tw
Quantifiable means that you can translate something from qualitative to quantitative to typically understand it better.
Synonym for Quantifiable: Quantity
Synonym for Qualitative: Quality
@@NoOne-ri7tw honestly not a hard word. describes itself. quantify + able = able to be quantified. countable is a synonym

"Calling someone a sweetpea, isn't calling them a pea that is sweet." Today I have learned, that I too, am stupid.

Well when I originally thought of "sweetpea" I assumed they meant someone who's "sweet" and tiny and adorable like a "pea". I figured it originated from referring to their toddlers, who are sweet and tiny like a pea. Or a "sweetpea."

Yeah and there’s a type of pea called a sugar snap pea, though with that the pea itself is a basic pea taste and the shell is actually what tastes sweet and good
I’m a literal vegetable. No, literally, I can’t walk
Sweetpea is a flower
@@animalsandiphones Yeah, I know, but there's also "sweet pea" as the vegetable. No additives like he thought there were in the video, it's just called that because of the natural sugars.
