i took a personality test where i took a personality test while i took a personality test. there were a lot more questions i didnt show because they kinda had the same answer, but i have some stories that i thought of when answering them maybe i will make another video about those stories. ive been working hard on becoming more organized which is why i took this personality test which is why i made this video.

I’m quite positive that the Myers’s Briggs personality test has absolutely no merit whatsoever, but for whatever reason watching content of people taking personality tests is weirdly relaxing.
As someone who has obsessed over 16p, enneagram, and MBTI for a little over a year, I am happy to see someone else that has not dismissed it as “randomly accurate” :)
Today I have learned that Andy does not get frightened for his own life but he does for his dog's.

@@kryrins no I think you're spot on with that. Poison plants aren't really like poisonous animals. Animals will be bright and colorful to tell you "hey, I am dangerous, look how technicolor I am"
But plants, they're just like "eat me bitch, I dare you" and if you do well you're going to stop before it becomes a problem for the plant because you'll be dead
I'm not a plant scientist though so even I could be wrong. My qualifications are in software engineering and development, this is just how I've come to believe plants work

@@kryrins it also depends on the dog, my dog hates pretty much anything that could be poisonous to him so i dont have to worry much. my cat on the ther hand will eat literally anything including screws.

I actually got the same results when I tried the test, and after watching your ADHD videos, it encouraged me to go get a diagnosis as an adult and made me feel like it was normal. Your videos have always felt very relatable and entertaining, and I always look forward to a new one.

That is exactly why you do thorough research on your pet, even with something common like a dog, or at least on any new foods you decide to give your pet. You shouldn't assume that anything safe for us is safe for them. Though, a lot of foods we eat are not good for us either so I'm not sure why people ever think it's ok to just give them whatever human food you have on your plate.

I did this test and read the description of the personality it gave me and I thought it fitted me pretty well. I really believed this things was real until I read the descriptions of other personalities and realized that I could identify to a lot of them as well. It really is like astrology for guys.
Staying calm under a lot of pressure... With me it depends in the time I had to think about the consequences. In a perilous situation my instincts override my thinking process. The delay can last for days. But once I had time to think about it, I need to have a good cry and a firm hug.

I absolutely love how people in the comments go like "OMG I'm that type too".
Even if the answers to the questions could lead to any kind of reasonable conclusions, the fact that you're self-reporting means they have no scientific merit whatsoever. We all have massive biases, blind spots and insecurities that we're in denial about. For the vast majority of people they're opinions of themselves would differ compared to what their families or friends would say about them.
All you get from these online personality tests is the answer to what you yourself think about yourself.
That said, great video and as someone who has recently been told to get tested for ADHD I can relate to a lot of your experiences.

exactly, mbti it's a total different thing, it's not what 16personality says, we're talking about cognitive funtions which r "TE TI FE FI SE SI and NE NI" basically a person has all of this funtions but one generally is used more then the others. To know the mbti you need 4 of them the dominant, the auxiliar the third and the inferior. It seems complicated but it's not that much but still, it's not what 16 personalities makes you believe: the example that you made.
It's when they use certain words that I hyper focus on....

the raisin story FREAKED me out cause that also happened to my dog, one day we came home from school and saw a box of raisin cereal half broken with my very weak looking dog near it (he was fine, we went to a vet and they fixed him up, he's 6 now and happy as ever)

The raisin fact is insane considering when my dog was a puppy I did the exact same thing except I didn't find out until like 3 days later, and within those 3 days I continued to give raisins to my dog because he loved them. He never showed any symptoms though surprisingly

Andy, may I be the one that tells you that online tests for mbti are in fact very inaccurate.
Not only do questions limit your options for answers very vegue, but it also doesn't calculate personality the actual way.
True mbti bases itself in something called "cognitive functions" wich can be summarised by
Si: organization
Se: adaptavility
NI: insight
Ne: abstractivity
Ti: logic
Te: goals
Fi: moral compass
Fe: empathy
Each personality holds their functions by dominant, auxiliary, terciary and inferior.
(For example, INTPs are Ti-Ne-Si-Fe respectively)
Many people with experience in mbti will recommend one studies the topic by oneself and decides to chose what they are via self discovery. Wich imo is the most fun part of mbti

In college I had to take a personality test for a class, and the personality type I got was literally just not an option on the multiple choice.
Like it was "red, blue, green, or yellow" but my result was "white". This had apparently never happened before to this professor, so she didn't believe me and thought I was trying to get out of work.
Meanwhile everyone was supposed to form groups based on the results for all the group assignments in the class, and I couldn't, so I had to humiliatingly email the professor and explain with a screenshot why I couldn't complete the homework. Days later I got _casually slotted in_ to a different group, and I had to explain to all of them that I couldn't participate until now because I'm a fucking strange bug under a rock and I apparently have no place in normal society. So that was humiliating.

Lots of people will enter a room and forget what they went in there for, but for me and many others it’s a daily thing.
