i want to do more of these ask community questions because it's fun, but it's a new format I'm still working on ironing out the kinks with. I hope you like it. There were a lot of good answers but I only am able to answer a couple. Maybe I should make multiple videos replying to comments and such. Idk I will figure it out!
If I had a game I would love to live in it would be minecraft, but there aren't a lot of good items to have from minecraft by itself. Unless you think of enchanted minecraft items.
Thank you for watching.

I honestly can't think of a better item than the aforementioned Scribblenauts Journal.
The game itself proves that you can use the journal to summon things from FICTIONAL works as well, meaning you can bypass the limits of this challenge by creating more video game items at your leisure to help you annex Toronto.
The one downside I can think of is you MIGHT run out of paper? But that was never a limit in the game.
if the book can make anything then you can make unlimited books/paper.
if the book doesn't let you create the book/paper then you can find a item that grants wishes/items and get another one that way.
In the game you can create more journals though.
Same!
The Infinity Gauntlet
It’s.. you get the point.
@@Ya-Kids-Topicthat book is WAY stronger than the infinity gauntlet
The portal gun doesn’t work very well because it can only place portals on “portal conductors”, of which the only one we are aware of is moon rock.
Concrete works, but the moon rock is used for the gel.

The notebook from Scribblenauts would actually be really OP. You could just draw all the other video game items and have all of them.
no, this isn’t how you’re supposed to play the game.
You could easily nerf it by using the one from the old game.
Indeed, only thing that can top it is a dev console to reality. (Also, you need to think about the limits on the book, is it as limited as the games or can I tell it to summon a random ass if I wanted to (specifically trying to include vulgarity as a point))
Except they all have to be low color cartoony versions
ok
The sketchbook one is probably the best choice out of this list purely due to its limitless nature. You don't have to depend on anything, the book's all you need.
Yeah, you could write "Portal gun" or "Kirby" in it and it would show up. You could have ALL THE OPTIONS.
@@Sample_Gamingyou can get absolutely any game you want
Same with the toolgun since it can produce assets from thin air
A fully upgraded suit from Metroid is a good choice too. Offers speed, power, pseudo flight, protection, and plenty of versatility with stuff like the morph ball.
What if you get the Triforce. It could anex toronto. It could end the zombie apocolypse. You could use it to get ALL the video game items.
*ignores the power bomb*
I would absolutely use that. 😂
I don’t mind having a inconsistent uploading schedule. I like having Ice Cream Sandwich videos just sort of appear one day, feels very on brand.

@@PeregrineFalcon646 there’s always a little danger with his uploads, don't get too comfortable :)
He's gonna be real disappointed (dead) during that zombie apocalypse when he learns that the portal gun won't work because his house isn't made of moon dust.
Yeah that's my one worry for that one , easy fix though. Just get the portal gun from Terraria!
@@busterbeast999 with that logic I’d get like the zenith or the rod of discord or the drill containment unit etc.
I think (might be very very wrong) that they said the portal gun works on any really flat surface.
I'm pretty sure moon dust is just very conductive to portals and not necessarily a requirement, but it's been a while since I played the Portal games so I could be wrong
Yes
yes. the portal gun that can only be used on flat, non moving , moon rock coated surfaces is a great tool
The toolgun from Gmod would actually be busted as hell, even without considering if G *mods* work with it IRL.
I'd love a portal gun too... The only downside though is that they're only usable on the white panels made specifically for them.
Lunar dust is used to make them, so if there were rocks from the moon, you'd be good!
More specifically moon rocks mixed with a jell
@@glitchdragon9019 ooooh... I thought they were moon rocks not moon dust
What is moon dust made of anyway that chemical could be on earth but maybe rarer
@@powdereyes2210 Ok you are thinking too hard about this, they picked something rare and valuable as a joke. The moon is actually quite boring
@@glitchdragon9019 what if you shot a portal at the moon
People constantly choose the portal gun in questions like this, but according to the game, the portals can only be placed on moon rocks
It only specifies that the moon rocks are good at holding portals, I think. Not that they're the only surface that can hold them.
@@OddyOddity-ob2uv Yeah, moon rocks are mentioned as good portal conductors, but not the only ones. In the old aperture, we place portals on concrete (which makes sense, since moon rock is similar to earth rock, so there's no reason why it would have to be moon rock)
the capes from Sky: Children of the Light(for all 3 but mostly daily life.) wouldn't be able to go out in the rain, sure, but FLYING!!!!! and you recharge it with fire and i like fire so thats cool too!
(and if that doesnt count as an "item" then I'd go with the Krill Cat/Feline Familiar, also from Sky. this ones only really good for the 1st and 3rd thing tho, since if you get to close it'll launch you, but still very cute!)
The scribblenauts notebook one is actually a really good idea, basically every other item that was mentioned in the video can be brought to life with that.
Only problem would be if the limitations they place on the game (nothing obscene or overly violent) applied in real life. Would still be useful, but you'd have to Rube Goldberg some solutions to specific problems.
He forgot one of the most insane parts of the notebook too. You can not only make anything you want, but you can also modify anything. Want someone dead? You don't have to make a device to kill them, you just have to add "dead" to their name and bam. Also time pauses when you use the notebook so that's pretty neat.
@@HTacianas Not if we take the one from scribblenauts unlimited where you can make your own items from scratch
Heck, all you would have to do to annex toronto is add "Annexed" to toronto's name.
@@HTacianas I specifically remember summoning cannnibals and shooting people with guns to solve problems in that game it really shouldn’t be a problem.
Best item is the Scribblenauts unlimited Notebook and it's not even close. You essentially just become a god upon pickup or the notebook

3:23 The Blue Shell is a fun pick because outside of the context of a competitive game, "what constitutes first place?" Especially given the assignment of conquering Toronto.
Would it attack the mayor? The premier of Ontario? Or would it fly off into the air to seek out and demolish Trudeau?

as someone who lives in Toronto I can confirm that people are constantly trying to annex us with items like barrier blocks

@@XToeMark you better get out of there now

No but just think of the chaos the blue shell would have on the dvp and 401
Botw's sheikah slate has google maps with a fast travel feature, can lift any metal object effortlessly, can freeze things in time (great self defense tool), can help you cross any body of water (including waterfalls) with ice blocks, has a summon-able motorcycle, hands-free selfie stick, and best of all: high explosives.
Let's not forget tapping an amiibo to get infinite food, infinite armor, and epona (the hourse)
Late to this but:
Lifepod from Subnautica. (Yes it's not technically an item, shut up)
The fabricator alone would be amazing, but with the pod I have something to power it. In a zombie apocalypse, it adapts to get me blueprints to survive and defend against the undead. For daily life, I fabricate a habitat builder, build another fabricator, reverse-engineer the second fabricator, patent and sell the tech.
Wouldn't be too useful for annexing Toronto, though. Lifepod fabricators (and by extension, any fabricators they fabricate) explicitly can't make anything explicitly designed as a weapon. A survival knife or a stasis rifle is fine, but those have other explicit uses. Maybe I could make a "prawn suit fabricator arm" and start unfabricating buildings and anyone trying to stop me until whoever's left hands over whatever's left.
There are a couple of problems with the portal gun:
1. You can't place portals on every surface. The only one I'm sure you can is moon rocks.
2. Without long fall boots, if you wanted to fling yourself like in the game, every single bone in your body would break.
Also, you have to be able to see your destination to use it, so it's not great for like, travel.
Nah dude you can place portal on surfaces that arent moon rocks you can place them on flat surfaces
Its is in the game lore that
You can place portals on other surfaces
BUT, its not standing forever
One subject has been stand in the middle of the portal
But the portal wasnt placed on a moon rock panel
Then portal closed and subject was cutted in the half like a fruit
@@Blaze-gq4bd So for all purposes that don't include getting sliced in half... I'd say you can only really use it on moon rocks
@@lodewijk. No, what that means is just that you have to be quick with the portal unless you want to slice yourself in half.
@@lodewijk. You are missing the opportunity for cutting other people in half with it! Instead of a zombie flinging machine, you get a zombie blender
For me, I would have to go with “The Bag of Holding”. Never again will I have to worry about storage space(up to a limit) but still a pretty solid and versatile choice.
I will also go with a bag of holding so we can put 1 inside the other >:3
Doesn't The Bag of Holding have a storage/weight limit?
Until your DM decide you have a weight limit now, and starts counting your ammo as well.
Just as long as you don't think about the one guy who went into the bag of holding and became a minor eldritch horror.
Hear me out, bag of holding plus a dev console
1.GrabPack from poppy playtime
2.portal gun from portal
3.barrier from Minecraft
If part 2 i would use the pure nail from hollow knight (and a charm kit with every charm) for the zombies, the meme rifle from rain world (plus 3 singularity bombs) for destroying Toronto, and for every day use... i dont really know... maybe like a pet Strabby from bugsnax, maybe?
Always love his sponsorship bits

The enchanted flint and steel from minecraft: story mode would be cool to have. Why survive the zombie apocalypse when you can live in a hallway of interdimensional portals. :)
First of all, you need to find portals...
It only lights portals, it doesn't build them, so uh, good luck with that.
I think you need to replay story mode that flint and steel nearly killed them all on multiple occasions
@@IcyDaily tbh its better than being mauled by zombies
The flint and steel doesn’t mean you have a portal
i would honestly love to have a Rarefaction Cell from Rain World. They are batteries that harness the tremendous energy of void fluid (a substance deep in the ground that is similar to antimatter) to create a small black hole and use its energy to power city-sized supercomputers. In-game, you can activate it to distort gravity and space around you so you can jump much higher and run/swim much faster, which has a lot of applications in real life.
god i sound unhinged in this comment
I would do any onion from pikmin if it can summon pikmin, (probably blue for everyday and red for the other 2) because i can basically summon endless amounts of fighters/gatherers to do my dirty work and household chores.
portal gun only seems cool to have until you realize that all the fun stuff you can only do if you also have the jump boots and the magical ability to automatically orient yourself legs-down while flying.
And moon dust
@@philwhite2730 moon dust launcher
There's still plenty of "fun" stuff you can do...
If you talk about flinging yourself around you also won't find the purpose made architecture to utilize that.
What you have anywhere is flat walls next to flat ground to walk on so you can just walk through portals like doors and still have most utility as the world we live in opposed to apperture testchambers is not designed to be challenging to traverse.
I thought the boots actually helped with that. It was in the trailer for them.
I'd probably choose Maxwell's Book from Don't Starve Together, for all 3 scenarios cause
1. I can summon more of myself to help me fight the zombie hordes (and for use as cannon fodder)
2. I can summon more of myself to just do everything better/faster (imagine how much faster cleaning up's gonna be with like 12 people)
3. I can summon more of myself to just overwhelm Toronto with an endless horde of me's (also for use as cannon fodder)
All at the small price of losing bits and pieces of my sanity!
Clearly different from my choice: Maxwell's Notebook from the Scribblenauts games
well yes but you're gonna get all the mental disorder with that
it’s all good
you get your sanity back when you destroy your shadow clones
There’s also the cannon power of the codex umbra, which means that theoretically you could put yourself into the constant, IDK how that would help but it’s pretty neat.
AND you can hit zombies with it!
The little hat from Fez. It's a gamble, but who knows what shenanigans one could get up to with that ability. What does it even mean to rotate into the next dimension beyond the ones in which we already exist? The implications are literally inconceivable
Star Rod from Paper Mario.
Litiral *endless invincibility, world bending wish-granting abilities.*
Honestly any important item from the Mario RPGs would most likely make you a God.
I’d take the Ocarina from Legend of Zelda. There’s just so many cool uses for it. You can make it daytime when you want, you can time travel, you can cause a tropical storm. There’s so much to do with it
Loving those examples:
1. Convenient and civilization ending.
2. Convenient and universe ending.
3. Just a big ol fuckin storm lol
Sure it's powerful... but I worry that if you get one note wrong it'll turn your eyes backwards or something.
Plus you can turn masks in to statues. Because that’s what we all want to do
@@meee_5155 Halloween would be a lot cheaper lol
I have also come up with ocarina at first but then I thought it may be too dangerous, making daytime whenever would render calendars useless and probably create many other problems. Other than time travel I don't think it's very useful
I’d love a health potion from any game where one potion heals you back to full health.
Then I’d give it to my mom.
Wholesome
Aww
Get one from Diablo 3. It's infinite but has a cooldown.
@@jacobc9221
That would be perfect!
The tool gun is so much more than copy paste delete. You can spawn whatever with it, permanently stick things together with it, force things to rotate, disable gravity, undo, redo, etc. Its the right click of the universe but even more so
Icecreamsandwich is one of the few comedic animators that I actually laugh so hard at his jokes. Like this is peak comedy to me 😭😭
If you had Maxwell’s notebook from scribblenauts you could have literally all the items because you can draw them into reality.
Legendary Zenith
I LOVE YOU
It kinda depends
The in game item has its limits
It is surely one of the most powerful items but if you asked it to make somthing specific or a video game item 90 precent of the time it won't be able to make it
You could kind of recreate most of them through adding traits to regular items though
If you assume it will work with anything in our world then it probably would be the best item and even if it can't its still broken
I’m going to Toronto later this week I’m going to die
GOD HIMSELF
The scribblenaughts notebook could be used to add adjectives to yourself, such as "invulnerable" and "omnipotent," effectively making you a god.

Problem with the Portal Gun, it only works on specially prepared surfaces that are coated with a paint that uses Moon rock dust as the pigment.
That's why you get the one from Terraria that works on anything and comes with longfall boots
ez just ask for the portal gun from terraria instead (same concept but it works on all surfaces)
It doesn't only work on that; the rest of portal 2 shows that regular ol white concrete works, and portalable surfaces existed long before aperture discovered moon rocks worked well
You can also spawn things with a tool gun, or change properties of item, or maybe even living creatures
Either the Vac gun from Slime rancher, the Crystal heart from Hollow knight, or the Terraprisma from Terraria.
Well, even though I'd love a Portal Gun, it'd be pretty useless, because it requires the surface where you put the portal on to be made out of moon rocks, which is pretty hard to come by imo
I mean you would have a zero cost way to the moon
Not necessarily. In the first game, you can put portals on all kinds of surfaces. I guess the lore is supposed to be that it works better somehow with moon rocks.

Don't you need a moon rock surface though?? For portals to maintain form or something like that. It was a HUGE part of the final challenge of Portal 2 that it was effectively useless without those panals to go with it.
@@artiscommunication.2271 The short awnser is that processed moon rock is just really effective but not required for the portal gun to work.
The wiki cites the fact that you can shoot portals on what seems to just be standard concrete and the fact that the portal gun was in use in the 1950s by Aperture before the discovery of the moon rocks’s capabilities.
Edit: typo
My dream is to live in Canada but I'm from Europe.
So I would use the portal gun to place a portal in where I currently live then buy a house in Canada, book a one way flight to Canada and put the other portal in the new house.
What it would do is let me go back to see my family and invite them over from time to time.
That would be amazing.
But then you would never be able to put another portal somewhere else. Otherwise you would need to physically travel back to that house to restart the portal there
@@cgduude Just acquire a space suit, and some kind of really accurate tripod mount for the portal gun. When you need to get somewhere new, put on the space suit, shoot a portal at the ground, shoot a portal at the Moon, go to the Moon, and then use your tripod and a bit of luck to land a portal where you wanna go. When you get there, just try not to inhale too much of the moon dust. Also, be sure to close the portals so you don't suck all of the atmosphere onto the Moon.
Good one probably could be that arm thing from totk because you can bulid anything fuse weapons rewind things go through the ceiling also travel medallions and earthwake technique would be useful also 0:25 that is a paragilder not a hanglider
The mod rod from dragon quest builders 2, the geometry dash time warp trigger, And a Minecraft world eater.
I'll explain what all of those are.
Mod Rod: So, the mod rod can change your appearance to anything you want. while it has a set few things it can transform you into in the game, we'll just assume you can become anything for this. So yeah imma use the mod rod to blend in with the zombies. Maybe I'll even join them...
Time Warp Trigger: you touch it, cross a line or touch something else set to activate it, it slows or speeds up time.
World Eater: the name should already say what it does. "But cocolete_pan, that's destroying toronto, not taking over it!" Who's gonna prevent me from taking over a huge ahh crater? Also the world eater is a redstone machine, not any kind if modded item.
After careful consideration 🤔 I think I'd probably go with:
-The Banshee (for transportation, a.k.a everyday use)
-The "RY3NO" from Ratchet and Clank for a zombie apocalypse. (because it's basically a slightly more compact and portable version of the D00M BFG, with the same amount of power.)
And
-The "Farsight XR20" for anexing toronto (because shoot-thru-walls + x-ray vision scope + auto-aim. it's broken as all hell, yes.)
Portal gun for everyday use, ocarina of time for surviving a zombie apocalypse (just make it day, zombies burn, ez solution lol), and scribblnauts book for annexing Toronto. Just make yourself a god.
Why not the Zodiac or Harbinger from Ratchet and Clank for Zombies? The Zodiac for clusters to safely explode them into ashes. And the Harbinger... For..... Reasons. .......Totally zombie related.
The RY3NO would absolutely level Toronto as well
Problem: these things require fuel and ammo. How would you solve this issue?
@@blubullie4850 You can rent them out, just don't worry about what people will use them for
The toolgun from garry's mod works for me for one simple reason, it's modable, you can add any feature you want to it, you can even spawn portals with it, so you don't need the portal gun, or spawn friendly npcs, that will help with the zombie and toronto scenarios
Tool Gun is best choice by far
Thank you
"yeah I would just pick creative mode"
Boring answer.
Spawn a zombie cure. Or some ****s.
The Remedy (or its nearest equivalent) from the Final Fantasy series. Or a Phoenix Down, either/or.
I’d probably want to use all of the powerups from the Mario franchise for the zombie apocalypse, Spider-Man’s web shooters from Spider-Man 2, and the nuke from COD to anex Toronto
I think Ice Cream Sandwich is one of the best examples of Chaotic Good out there in the universe.
Yes
@lсе сrеаm Sandwich 🅥 bot
And albert
I want to try to make an argument for Mythra’s or Malos’s core crystal (which you can think of as permanent summoning items for demigods that ties them to you somewhat), but... there’s really nothing stopping them from abandoning (or even killing) you if they really want to, so, maybe not that. But if you could get them to work with you you would be almost unstoppable.
1. The Portal gun for zombie apocalypse (or one of the games with a gun/device that lets you reverse or move forward time until something/someone crumbles to dust)
2. Either the Portal Gun or one of those videogames that has a bottomless, weightless inventory bag that you put literally infinite stuff in for every day use
3. Astroneer's Terraforming gun for Toronto
Honestly, nothing beats the scribblenauts notebook, but for me, I’d probably choose a Gaster Balster (undertale). Eliminate any opponent with a laser, you can summon it at will (won’t have to carry it around), use it to fly, and scare all of Toronto.
For me I’d have to say the Monado, since it would be pretty useful.
-You’d have arts which could increase your speed or give you a shield to help block you from getting hurt
-Can cut through Machinery and or robots
-And can also let you see visions into the future
Only downside I can think of is that it can’t hurt people but that’s also good so you can’t murder.
Plus with it you could possibly annex Toronto, and survive a zombie apocalypse.
Downside: you die if your not chosen by it

If it would be able to control the fabric of reality even though ether isn't real, it'd be a maxwell's notebook-tier pick
okay but junk sword
Yeah please annex Toronto it’s expensive to live here bro 💀

Actually it can hurt people, only with that upgrade tho
Id go with Cappy from Mario Odyssey for all 3. Being able to capture literally any being and use their power is the ultimate life hack no matter the context.
imagine coppying mom's slipper or dad's belt and using it against them...
@@binary8995 ...you alright man?
*captures boss*
*Gives everybody raises*
Getting them to cooperate, however, is a completely different matter
@@Starz1317 doesn't Cappy override the consciousness of whoever he's captured? I can't think of a single time a capture has fought off mind control, Bowser included
Cool video! I would choose the master sword, because on top of it regenerating if it breaks, it can shoot beams of light at Toronto.
my destiny 2 build the ghost for revive, strand to grapple from place to place (im a hunter so i have double jump) and the weapons in my loadout
The scribblenauts book and gmod toolgun is pretty much the equivalent of:
"I have the item to have every item I want"
What about the Minecraft command block
@@Mr_Roomba_ that too
@@Mr_Roomba_ you can’t use that in survival lol
@@cristoffer9024 i know
@@Mr_Roomba_ Why did you add the command block then?
Magic Gloves from the Zelda series. The one that allows you to pick up massive boulders.
Helps with moving objects, self defense and annexing Toronto by separating them from the continent.
Not to be that guy
But it’s power gloves
@@themightycxzeriallordok honestly at that point that’s cheating you can’t just pull out a mod with the longest crafting recipe in anything Terraria
I’d say the notebook from scribblenauts for everyday use, and a master ball with Arceus for zombie apocalypse *AND* annexing Toronto.
Minecraft trident. Large fork, does A LOT of damage, and it works on Toronto too.
1:10 The peak of humor
Maxwell's notebook is definitely the best answer for all three categories and more. It's literally like Hey, do you want a genie that won't dick you over as questions and has an unlimited number of wishes The only limitation is your ability to describe something. The amount of times I made super teeny nuclear baby ant and blew up an entire map is absolutely ridiculous. I also made nuclear miniguns but fired nukes
Especially if it's the later iteration that can edit objects, not just create them.
Writes dictionary and/or wikipedia: boom limitless options baby!
I think the scribblenauts journal is probably the best. Using that you can make literally anything you need. You just have to be able to draw.
1.Mega buster
2.max's notebook
3.blue shell
The portal gun would be cool, if only it wasn't confirmed in Portal 2 that they only work on surfaces covered in highly toxic moon dust.
Oh dang really? I never played the half life games so I missed that information completely.
@@guichabanaano27 the info is in portal 2, not half life 2 and all the information is, is that moon rocks are the best conductor for portals, not the only ones
Glad someone said it
It works on any smooth, white/grey colored surfaces. It's very apparent that most of the surfaces you portal with over the course of the series are not covered in moon dust. The moon goop just also happens to make surfaces portal conductive.
@@turtlesayhi2344 get the moon dust then, go ahead
