also, the glare could seek out caves automatically to save you time and effort when finding caves for mining resources. They lead the player to the nearest dark place, which is often a cave. It wastes time that would usually be used randomly digging down and hoping you get lucky. They also have the most versatile design that could be used in tons of builds and environments to help immerse the player further. It's a shame nobody saw the uselessness of the other mobs and immediately ignored the Glare's true potential.
The problem is that with the caves and cliffs update, mobs were made to only spawn in light levels of zero. Because of that, you don't really even need F3 to know because it's pretty clear when there is light versus no light.
True, it is REALLY helpful for bedrock/pocket edition players. But It doesn't really give as much uses as the other options. Only the other console could benefit from it, meanwhile the other two options can benefit ALL consoles
Fun fact: After covid I was still in elementary school. And I'd forgotten how to multiply big numbers and divide everything. And (At least at my school) the teachers didn't care if I did work or not. So I didn't learn, Until! One teacher actually pushed me into enjoying math, even though I didn't know what I was doing. At this time I started playing Minecraft. And one day during recess me and my friends pretend played Minecraft. And my super smart friend was shocked that I could do the math. Ex: "So we collected 5 wooden tree logs. and if we craft it, we will get... 20 planks!" So yeah. Minecraft helped me pass 5th grade.
I remember being an ity bity child and playing minecraft. This was before it got H U G E. And by that, I mean I was in awe at the FOUR mobs the game had: Pig, cow, sheep, chicken. And I vividly remember this because before wolves and horses, my sister and I loved having these four mobs as pets. I remember that there were no wood variations, just oak, and it was exclusively called wood. I remember my absolute shock saw what amazing things could be done in creative mode via the internet. It took 9 years to get as good/better than those builders. I've built Castles and Stadiums in minecraft before, and I never looked at reference photos, once my mind knew what I wanted to do, I went to it. And I had fun.

i vaguely remember being about like 3 years old (roughly about 2010-2011) and my uncle introduced me to minecraft for the first time. i remember the torches had this thing where you could hover over them and turn them off and on. it's a really random thing to remember, but honestly that's really the only thing i _can_ remember from back then. i also remember him introducing me to terraria, and that was fun too, but it never stuck with me as much as minecraft did.
7:40 that's already a thing... sort of. There's a block you can right click with a compass to make the compass point at it. It's called a Lodestone. But, sadly, you cannot use it to stalk people :(
Minecraft literally made like half of my current English knowledge, and it brought an interest of digging for crazy math stuff, oh and thanks to some mods (such as Industrial Craft 2, IC2 for short) - i started to get real towards Nuclear physics n chemistry, the game is literally just buncha cubes, but cubes with a perfect environment to do unimaginable stuff.
You should check out the Mekanism mod. It's like chemistry and IC2 had a baby, but they slapped that baby full of steroids and Mekanism was born. Paired with Applied Energistics it makes for some really good brain itching.
@@screret4794 But Mekanism is updated to the current version of minecraft pretty soon after the new version releases. Also, I looked it up, do you mean the "New Horizons" one? It seems to be famous for not being completable because of how much content it has.

Funny that "thing a compass always points to" actually got added. And I think minecraft manhunts actually use that mechanic (as in, the compass says "lodestone compass" as it points to the runner) but rig it with a datapack or something because it unfortunately can't be slipped into someone's pocket to stalk them (and if it could they'd just be able to throw it away).

Btw the Allay doesn't just "come back with more" It's not an item duplicator, it goes to pick up items that are already on the ground, like items that have fallen or items you dropped, only one type of item at a time
it also only goes within 16 blocks of the player, making it useless in farms that are supposed to run automatically. You would have to stand there the entire time or it stops working
@@lost_flower4412 but the farms would have to be very small, so they won't be as efficient. Why not have a farm that runs in the background while you do other stuff? If you don't use allays, you wouldn't have to waste time sitting there - you could have a much bigger farm that does all the work while you're away. Everyone in the comments is just going "The necklace idea is just the lodestone!!!" To be fair! The option to stick it on mobs/players is kind of neat.
@@evanlovesbacongames161 It's more of a loadstone entity tracker in the idea, witch would be useful for a lot of reasons. On a player it makes it easier to follow them from a distance and compasses take up less screen space and can be followed within the hotbar leaving you're other hand open for, a shield, torches, food etc. On mobs this is also useful. It may keep an entity from despawning and will lead you to it's exact location. For mobs that have the potential to wander off like Horses, cows, sheep and chickens, or even just a spider you thought was neat, this keeps those entities from despawning, and if the entity breaks a lead or cant be leaded, or if you just dont have the pickaxe to dig that 2 x 2 hole or just dont feel like it, you can slap that tracker on them and find them no matter where the entity wonders off to. It could also help you find that sat down dog you left in the middle of nowhere since pets dont show up on maps. Most of the ideas in the video are already in game features and are kinda silly, but none of them are really serious ideas, its just a silly "gimme convenience lol" video. Although the crystal neckless tracker dose have potential imo.

"This one is just the F3 button"
1. They said he could've helped light up caves
2. He would be nice for Bedrock players
get torches nerd
also, the glare could seek out caves automatically to save you time and effort when finding caves for mining resources.

He didn't learn them very well
He did say he was bad at them after all.

To be fair! The option to stick it on mobs/players is kind of neat.
all players appear on maps though, and mobs despawn
@@evanlovesbacongames161 but maybe this would prevent that. Or putting it as a collar on dogs and cats and such
@@Todd.Momma.06 nametags do that
@@evanlovesbacongames161 sure but if it prevented that you now have a tracker on mobs
