It's a video that is wildly unorganized random thoughts about minecraft. I was kind of random about these minecraft thoughts but that is a okay in my opinion. I don't have a boss! You can't fire me!
I maybe should have had more structure in here but I think I made some solid enough jokes where it can stand up on its own though :) sold out pretty hard this video though lol going to take a sponsorship break after this for a little while. I feel like you guys earned it.
There's a part in the video where I screen cap the suggested page and trending page and there's like TommyInnit and Jschlatt and JaidenAnimations in there so I guess you can see what the youtube algorithm wants me to watch. Very Pochamp.
Minecraft is the game I have played most and I love it so this video was more or less self indulgent for me. I hope it makes you laugh at least once.
I made a highschool presentation about minecraft and I got a good grade but probably only because the teacher felt sorry for me.
I love the cozy minecraft rain and listening to it inside my house. It is so comfortable.
The Allay is the new minecraft mob that won minecraft live vote! I voted for the Allay because he is more helpful even though the copper golem was really cute.

Funny that "thing a compass always points to" actually got added. And I think minecraft manhunts actually use that mechanic (as in, the compass says "lodestone compass" as it points to the runner) but rig it with a datapack or something because it unfortunately can't be slipped into someone's pocket to stalk them (and if it could they'd just be able to throw it away).
All the stuff that he listed already exists. X ray- is a third party client. Earmuffs- just lower your hostile mob sounds, hot air balloon- elytra, tracking necklace- lodestone.

Just because something exists already, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t potentially be added. 💀 You could fly in creative mode, and using mods, does that mean we shouldn’t have gotten the elytra? What about the shulkers floating effect? I could go on. You’re so boring.

Elytra is like the hot air balloon, the Lodestone is like the necklaces tracker, and for the earmuffs there is a sound setting for only mobs noises. Still would be cool to have items for this stuff

i vaguely remember being about like 3 years old (roughly about 2010-2011) and my uncle introduced me to minecraft for the first time. i remember the torches had this thing where you could hover over them and turn them off and on. it's a really random thing to remember, but honestly that's really the only thing i _can_ remember from back then. i also remember him introducing me to terraria, and that was fun too, but it never stuck with me as much as minecraft did.

I used to stare up into the sky in early minecraft when it rained. It would just be a black screen with white rain flying down at you. If you tricked your brain, you could easily imagine you were flying at light speed in star wars.

The "crystal necklace" is actually in game. It's called lodestone and when you click on it with compass it will point towards it.

About the crystal necklace thing
There's a block called a LodeStone that got added in 1.16 and you can right click it with a compass for the compass to always points to that specific block coordinate
You couldn't carry it around but it's still cool

I have such fond memories of Minecraft. I loved building stuff as a kid, especially with legos. I had a ton of sets that I'd built and my brother got Minecraft on his xbox right after I'd run out of space. He showed it to me and I watched him play it and he let me try. After a bit he got bored with it and let me play. I remember the first house I built, when stairs finally came out so I could upgrade the roof, getting horses, mining for hours, building tracks that covered the whole world (they used to be really small, the size of a single map back then), and so much more. There was just so much to do. I think one of my favorite things I did was make an entire town where all the buildings looked like shoes, based on the story of the old woman who lived in a shoe. I used bowling shoes for apartments since you rent them, uggs for condos, roller skates for a trailer park, a high heel that was a fancy restaurant, a knee-high top converse that laid on its side and went through a mountain, acting as a tunnel that a minecart rail went through, and more. The amount of creativity the game lets you express, and so easily, makes it a ton of fun. I'll never forget designing a restaurant for my brother to run in my shoe town, Kicks.

I actually did a middle school science project on the affect of various forms of video games on someone’s hand-eye coordination and it was literally just me playing video games and then doing paper and pencil mazes. Best project I’ve ever done.

This reminded me of an educational video game I played when I was younger. It waa a math video game where you have to solve equations to defeat robots and orbs to move on to the next level. You could select if you wanted addition, subtraction, multiplication or division equations or a combination of those, and I think it adapted to your skill level or got progressively harder as you went on, I don't know. I remember you played as this little dino or dragon or alien thing. I cannot for the life of me remember the name and it's driving me crazy

Lierally everything he suggested exists in the game with similar mechanics other than the goggles. We have the option to lower mob noise, Elytras for flight, and Lodestones which can be used to program a compass to go to that lodestone.
7:50, they have a few things like that now like the anchor block thing that you can set compasses to point to or the loot compass that points to your loot when you die

the creeper being meant to be the pig at first and staying as a creaper anyways is one of the best easter eggs ive seen hidden in a vid ever.
That's because the creeper was their attempt at making a pig originally. They decided to keep it and called it the creeper. it's on the Minecraft Wiki in the trivia section for the creeper

Ok for the tips you had, there is a thing called a lodestone that a compass will always point to, to lessen the sound of mobs you can just change the sound settings, and actually that seeing ores from a few blocks away is a really good idea

What he suggested basically gave me the impression of, beta X-ray cheats, the volume slider, flying redstone machines, and lodestones.
Im fairly certain the devs said that they're trying to incentivize people to not strip mine.
Their addition of the deep slate and expanding the underground in the caves and cliffs update seems to me like they're building on the idea of caving and not digging out the bottom of the map, which I fully support.
I used to strip mine all the time and get loads of metals and precious gems but it was never fun, but now I go caving for all of my materials and it's much more engaging
They don't really want to deincentivize strip mining, what they're really trying to do is give more incentive to cave mine.
They're actually still making sure strip mining is viable by making ores slightly less commonly exposed to air
@@nataly_171 It is a mix of both, now most materials have 2 generation systems, one for veins that can be exposed to air and another for those who don't
So the world generator essentially runs generation twice for them

I love the reference to the pig failure that now haunts our worlds. Also sorry Andy, but most of those ideas are in game. You can reduce or mute Hostile mobs sounds in settings, and the elytra and lodestone exists (though it would be cool to have them easier accessible)
Yeah, I feel like the only one that made sense was the xray glasses.
If you're too poor for an elytra you could always just travel on nether roof. (If you hate looking at scenery and instead prefer the look of tv static)
Or you could use a horse too
But you cant put a lodestone on a horse, dog, cat, bird or yourself so that’s sad
