Stay with the blues. Man there is just so much…. Muddy Waters, BB King, Howling Wolf, Freddie King, Albert King, Elmore James, Robert Johnson, and on and on and on. You could get lost in the blues for the rest of your life.
All these guys were Stevie ray Vaughans idols. Albert king let stevie on stage with him when Stevie was just a kid. These guys paved the way for him. And he had the utmost respect for him. Check out the same song by Stevie ray Vaughan.
Blues. Classic blues. There's nothing like the way the old blues don't rush a thing at all. And this guitar.... There are sort of "rules" for the improvising that can be done. LOTS of improvising. That's the nature of jazz and blues. Grandma Ellen, nice to see you again.
This was the song thst got me into blues. One of my favorites for sure and is attached to such a crazy time in my life. Whoooohhhh bringing back some heavy memmories
Love that you are diving into the Blues. My everyday listening blues artist is Buddy Guy. All the other artists mentioned in the comments are no contest - Blues staples. Just throwing out another blues great.
A fantastic rendition...love it ...thankyou 😍 Stevie Ray Vaughan does it as only Stevie could lol he's worth checking out...this song or "Texas Flood" Live at El Mocambo... Others have suggested the ones i'd list...keep em comin 🙏😌🤟🏼
This is straight up mississippi blues, whoever told you this was jazz doesnt have clue. I STRONGLY recommend listening to Elmore James verison of the song from the Fire sessions. I dare you not to put your stankface on haha
That was beautiful. Stevie Ray Vaughan had a posthumous hit covering this song, but it wasn’t this smooth. If you’re looking at blues guitarists don’t miss Albert Collins ruclips.net/video/_E6gsuek-5g/видео.html or the magnificent T-Bone Walker.

The blues rabbit hole is deep! Start out as old (deep) as you can find, and work your way out...bon voyage
BB Coleman was definitely an influence on Peter Green. I never realised it until now, but you can hear it in his playing.

Please, please listen to Daniel Castro “ I’ll Lay The Blues For You”! The best you’ll hear! Slow blues like this is the best way to relax.
React to Lightnin Hopkin Rock Me Baby
