    If he had any chance of being found not guilty, he burned that to the ground by stepping on the stand. And to add the spaghetti dinner to the story. Too many details...in a stressful situation like that if it existed I doubt that you'd remember what you were going to eat for dinner let alone remembering your mom was a really good cook and making spaghetti. He knew his mom's car had more gas? again... too many details he's been creating to make his story seem legit but it only is making him sink more into his lie. His mom was reprimanding him...he snapped...he killed her.

    • @rezinate1700
      @rezinate1700 Год назад +1

      Not that I disagree that the story was very full of details, but the things you mentioned could technically be explained away. If you are upset and missing your mother you are going to remember that she was a good cook and if you are remembering the last good moment you had with her (being the dinner) you might mention these points without real reason to do so. Also, if something that big and traumatic happens to you, you remember almost every detail around the event. I won't say why i know that other than I have been through a traumatic situation of attack where a family member was gravely injured. I can remember exact statements, the time, if I felt hot or cold, the looks that others had on their faces around me and the stuff that happened up to the point of attack, etc. I remember so well, not only because I have had to walk thru it multiple times due to recounting the story for legal reasons, but because it is the last memory I have of someone as well as looking thru those memories to try to remember if their was perhaps something we had missed that would have changed the outcome of the situation. Situational Guilt.
      Now, I will say that I find it weird to go thru all of those details on the stand, though. It is more of a personal thing, I would say, that you remember those things. Not for the purpose of the stand and to testify. But that is just me, and others may find it necessary to recount those memories for a jury. Idk. And the gas, he probably didn't remember. He probably checked it as he was leaving. Be doesn't say he just remembered that and I think it would be foolish to just assume that when it is much more likely that he would have looked before leaving, knowing he would need to drive further without stopping if possible, so u would want the car with more gas, and yes, maybe even a bigger cab in order to live in for a few days. Who knows.

      @@rezinate1700 true… but the lack of emotion in remembering details if they are real is disturbing. I’m not saying he has to be blubbering on the stand but he’s so matter of fact. Not to mention the time he’s had to create his story be it true or false. I believe his own words where he said his mother was going to reprimand him later. I think they were at dinner, an argument ensues and he explodes. Him leaving in her car knowing their was more gas is bizarre. Fight or flight doesn’t allow rationalization.
