  • This video shows how to conduct a two-way between-group ANOVA in SPSS. The video will clarify concepts such as main effects, interaction effects, post hoc tests, pairwise comparisons, Levene’s test, effect size, and statistical significance.
It is a parametric test to see the effect of two independent variables on a continuous dependent variable. Each independent variable can have two or more levels. AKA, Factorial between-group ANOVA.
Two-way means two independent variables. Between groups/Independent groups means each group has unique participants.
Two-way ANOVA allows us to simultaneously test for the effect of each of the independent variables on the dependent variable and also identifies any interaction effect.

In two way ANOVA is it mandatory that the data should be normally distributed? Please suggest, Sir.
    Thank you.

@@AzharulIslam Sir, I have tried everything. But SPSS is showing that my data is not normally distributed. Sir, can you tell me what is the reason of a data for not being normally distributed? All of my data are genuine.
I am really worried Sir why is this happening.

@@toma7262 if your data appears non-normal, you can do two things: 1) transform your data using data transformation techniques. or 2) use non-parametric tests.
