Can I have email and cell phone number? Your videos are very good.
I am currently living abroad. You can contact me through email. azharulislam@du.ac.bd
@@AzharulIslam Thanks a lot....
@@AzharulIslam Are you doing PhD in abroad? Which country?
Malaysia
Thank you very much Sir. Wish I watched this earlier.
We are supporting your initiative. Thank you so much.
You are welcome.
Really great and really helpful.thank u so much for easy explanation
You are welcome. I am glad that you find this video useful. Stay safe.
The presentation was very helpful. The explanation was very clear. Please make more videos on SPSS.
Thank you very much. I will.
Nice Presentation sir.we are really great full to you
You are welcome. Stay safe.
You explain really well. Keep at it!!
Thanks a lot.
It’s really helpful.
Good One, form India,
Excellent Job, Sir!!!
Thank you...:)
Hi Professor, Thank you very much for your videos. Its an excellent effort for the Bengali researchers. Hope you will upload more videos on statistical techniques.👏👏👏👌
Thank you very much. I will continue uploading new videos on statistical analyses, research methods, scientific publications, and mental health, hopefully.
@@AzharulIslam It will be great then. Thanks..❤️
Excellent Sir... Lots of respect 🙏
I have subscribed your channel....🙏🙏🙏
Thank you.
How to do principal component analysis?
The process is similar to EFA as described in this video. Just select PCA when extracting factors. The choice between EFA and PCA is theoretical and driven by data and study purpose.
Thank you very much for your nice presentation sir. I have two queries- 1. How can i give suitable names for the extracted factors? 2. can i use the extracted factor scores to see the association between/among categorical data (e.g. age, gender, marital status, educational qualification etc.)? If you have any lecture/link on that issue, reply please. if possible, make a video on that issue.
Very good question. 1) usually theory of your chosen construct guides the name of factors. Read carefully the items under each factor. You can name them easily. 2) yes, you can check whether the total scores of the construct as well as its factors vary with categorical predictors.
Sir, can I have this database?
For my practice purpose?
If possible, plz attach the sav file.
I have a database with 15indicators.
Following your steps, I did not get the pattern matrix despite having 5 factors with eigenvalue of more than 1. It is written that the communality of a variable has exceeded 1.0. Extraction was terminated.
How can I get red of it?
The data set is given in the download section. See the video description.
@@AzharulIslam Thank you, sir. Downloaded
I am facing this problem.
Factor Matrixa(a)
a Attempted to extract 4 factors. In iteration 25, the communality of a variable exceeded 1.0. Extraction was terminated.
Check carefully that your data is suitable for factor analysis.
@@AzharulIslam Thank you so much sir

Sure. Thanks for your recommendation.
Sir, need to learn PCA.
Will the rules of thumb remain same for PCA as well? Or, is the story (steps n interpretation) similar for PCA as well?
almost identical.
Hello Sir, It will be also helpful if you show confirmatory factor analysis. Thank you.
Hi Sadia, noted your suggestion. I will do a lesson on confirmatory factor analysis.
good
Thanks
Under component matrix which factors or variables to be considered .is there any minimum criteria
Do you mean factor retention criteria? There are several considerations in order to select the best factor solution for a given data. See here carefully 7:02
Excellent job sir, Sir, CFA korbo kibhave? Er CFA er jonno ke aber data collect korte hobe?
You need to have SPSS AMOS to conduct CFA. Yes, it is highly recommended that you use a different sample to run CFA.
Honorable Sir, big thank you for your timely reply and would you please make and share a tutorial for CFA analysis? Advance Thanks
@@merazahmed Thanks for your recommendation. I will make a tutorial on CFA.
We are eagerly waiting Sir...
Sir, can you please explain how can i construct a latent variable using EFA and then how can use it as a explanatory variable. Actually i wanted to calculate women's autonomy using latent variable from BDHS data.
Hi Sumi, you can just follow the procedure outlined in this video to find the latent structure (variables/factors) in your data. You may select PCA, instead of PAF as extraction method.
By the way your teaching method is so much helpful sir. Thank you.

Hi Meraz, please make sure that your data is suitable for factor analysis. Check the necessary assumptions. If not, you may not get a result.
@@AzharulIslam Immense thanks Dear SIR
Why point three is significant?
I don't understand your question clearly. Would you please mention, which point three you are referring to?
